As the wind whistled through the park, Dandelion supressed a shiver, her teeth chattering together for a brief instant before she clamped her mouth shut. Chattering teeth were oh so not attractive. Giggling as this thought, which just seemed so her, Dandi leapt up onto the edge of the sandbox. Bright eyes scanning the open park, she cautiously slid into the sand with a quiet laugh, excited by the prospect of exploration. And no humans! She'd just been trotting through the forest when she'd spied the park and peeked out. And no one was there. Her curiousity - and daring - had propelled her forwards in that instant and she had dashed out of the bushes, forsaking her cover in the name of a fun afternoon.
It seemed to be a fair trade so far. No scary men with clubs had approached her and she was doing just fine. She frowned as she studied the structures in the sandbox. The humans seemed able to climb them... but then again, they were humans. Dandi had accepted a while ago that there were many things humans could do that she couldn't. Well no, she hadn't accepted it. She'd been told it by her parents and had pretended to take it in. Really, she was determined to do just as many cool things. Of course, not everything like them. She wasn't suddenly going to become suddenly stupid, start walking around on her back legs and sit in big rumbly things that moved instead of walking anywhere herself.
But, you know, the play structure climbing thing... that was pretty cool.
She would give them that much credit, at least, Dandi decided. But they definately had to lose some for those ugly thugs that had manhandled her! She gave a tinkling giggle that echoed slightly across the open sky. Okay so maybe not 'thugs'. They were just kids. But still... did they have no idea of how to hold a cat? Or when to just stay away? See, she'd thought that hissing and whimpering and fluffed up fur were pretty obvious signals. But hey, maybe she was wrong. Although the fluffed up fur didn't really count. Her fur was always tufty and sticking up - at least it had been when she was a little kitten.
Dandi rolled her eyes and jumped onto the first step that led up the top of the play structure. She'd start off with the wooden part. The shiny metal stuff... well, that looked a whole lot more slippery. She soon found it easy to jump up the steps - just like the stairs the humans had had in their house. Easy peasy. Giggly she found herself on a wooden platform with a higher level about.... two feet up. She frowned. That may have been 'easy peasy' for humans to get up to but she was just a little kitty! She scowled at the horrible injustice of it all before backing up slowly and then running for a moment and leaping. Her claws scrabbled against the wood for a second but then - she was up! Dandi let out a celebratory whoop of excitement, followed by a giggle. And she didn't even have a splinter! Laughing giddily at her good luck and skills, Dandi began to run around to platform in a circle, still giggling. Her eye caught the wooden post edges and without a thought she jumped.
Her claws scrablled again but this time there was much less to hold onto. Thank god she was small. After a moment of panic and seeming to be falling off, Dandi managed to get upright into a sitting position. And then... standing. She walked cautiously along the edge - tail up for balance - and reached the corner. She let out a giggle. "I'm the Queen of the castle!" she sang out with another laugh. She could see so far from up here. It just felt so good. Being at the top of the world. So... right.

Cadence Goldeniris hissed with unmatched ferocity as a wide-eyed toddler attempted to stroke his long , silvery coat. With a rather arrogant flicker of his tail, he plodded towards another direction. Damned humans, he thought bitterly.
To be certain, Cadence was not in a good mood. No, not at all. Putting aside his undying hatred for all humans, he hadn't a bite two eat since two days ago That was enough to make any cat grumpy. Especially one like him. Suddenly, he caught a whiff of a delicious smell behind a series of bushes. He also heard the discouraging shrieks of filthy human children.
"To go, or not to go.", he mutterd aloud.
Finally, his hunger got the best of him. He wedged through the bushes and saw what awaited him. Yes, human children were scrambling around everywhere. Adults were watching anxiously as their children climbed and swung on strange, tall objcts.
Jungle gym., he thought automatically.
This was a park. Seeing the worried and protective parents brought back distant memories. Memories of his own deceased parents. Shaking the thoughts from his head, Cadence decided to take action. He spotted a child munching on what appared tobe a hotdog.
"Excellent.", he murmured.
Taking a deep breath, he stalked carefully behind the small human. The child seemed oblivious to his presence.
This is it., he told himself.
Quite suddenly, he lunged at the human. The child immediately released the hotdog and let out a startled cry. With remarkable pace, Cadence picked up the fallen treat with his teeth and took off before anyone could catch him. Any human, of course.
Finally, some godforsaken food., he thought with relief.
He was now running at a leisurely pace. He wedged through the bushes one more and dropped his treat on the ground with satisfaction. He dug in and relaxed as the chunks of food enterd his empty stomach. It was scrumptious. Only at times like these did Cadence Goldeniris ever feel like life was worth living.

I used to rule the world Seas would rise when I gave the word
Dandi giggled from the top of her post. She felt just like the queen of the castle from her perch - the queen of the world to be precise. She laughed, her eyes wide as her gaze swept over the playground. She could see so much from where she sat. The world look so amazing from up here! She could see everything, it just looked amazing. Dandi decided then that if was possible she would have loved to live up so high. A bird! If she could have been anything, she would have been a bird. To be able to fly, to take to the skies whenever she wanted to. To go even higher then she was now... to look down at the world below her from such heights.
She could feel her heart rate accelerating. Okay, so maybe she wasn't as high as possible but it was higher than she'd ever been before and as small as she was, it was many times taller than her. She grinned. "I'm the queen of the castle!" she sang again, bursting into another peal of giggles. Her eyes scaned the playground below her. And there, getting pet and looking like he didn't enjoy it... was the perfect... "And you're the dirty rascal!" she teased back, laughing again. She wasn't trying to be rude to him or make fun of him, it was just a joke and all good-natured. Besides, it was just a little rhyme.
"Heyya," she sang down to him. She would have gone down to talk to him and introduce herself better to him but it was just so damn amazing up here and she wasn't about to come down anytime soon. "I'm Dandi," she called back in a friendly tone. "Come on up, it's amazing up here!" she invited. Hopefully he'd like the view too. It was so amazing. He'd better like it, she thought with a frown, pursing her lips ever so slightly. If he didn't... Dandi suddenly felt nervous, though she knew she was being foolish. The view was so amazing... now it felt like a private little thing. But no, she was being stupid. "Come on," she teased again. "It's ah-maaaaazing." She grinned.
Now in the morning I sleep alone Sweep the streets I used to own

Follow me into the great unknown Lilly broke through the bushes, wincing at the sun's harsh rays, though it felt well to be out in the warmth of a clearing, where no trees shaded her from the brightness of the sun. She smiled, but then it resided when she discovered where she was. She was here once, not here- here, but she had been to a park like this before.
She glanced around. The humans were just flooding in, the little ones first, then the bigger, more protective ones. She tittered as she watched a kitten who looked younger then her travle up the steep steps of a jungle gym, then saw a tom hissing and stealing food. She was pretty full, so even looking at food made her feel full.
She dodged a stroller with two toddlers in it, pushed by some woman who she didn't recognize. She then bounded up a few steps, then landed right beside the black and white kitten. She was a bit bigger then her, but Lilly was a runt, so it wasn't too unusual. "Hi! The view is great up here... Wanna go up higher?" Lilly motioned up a ladder with skinny steps, but they were the perfect perches for two agile kittens like themselves. "I'm Lilly. If you don't wanna say that all the time, you can just call my Lil." She smiled brightly. Where pink flamingos grow Diet soda flows

A sweet trip to the candy shop
Dandi grinned at the tom below her but her attention was diverted as she spotted another cat, a kitten like herself - but a bit older - scampering through the park and dodging humans. She grinned. Surprisingly, none of the humans had noticed her yet. Dandi pouted, feeling as though the attention that she deserved had been stolen away from her. Her eyes widened as the other kitten bounded up to her and jumped up to join her. Yay! Dandi grinned, happy that there was someone else just as daring as she was. "Hey!" she mewed in surprise, giving a small giggle.
"Sure!" Dandi grinned, jumping onto the bottom rung. Good thing she was little. Placing her paws on the rung in front of her, she pulled herself up, pausing to grin back down at the other kitten. "Lily's fine," she replied. "I'm Dandi - short for Dandelion but don't call me that." She flashed another grin. "Hey! We're both named after flowers. Cool." Her eyes twinkled mischievously as she continued leaping up the rungs until she reached the highest platform of the play structure. "Wow," was all she could manage.
It was so unbelievably high. "Ohmigosh!" Dandi squealed, then burst into a fit of giggles. The view was amazing. The park looked so pretty. "Come on up!" she giggled down to the other tom, hoping that he would like it too. Lily certainly seemed too so that was good. As Dandi was looking back down at her she heard one of the humans shriek and recoiled. "There's a cat on the play structure!" some mom was yelling. Dandi heard other grown-up humans yell and began to say stuff and she shrunk back against the wood rail-wall behind her. "Hurry, Lily," she urged.
OOC: Um, Dandi would be smaller than Lily cause kittens grow at a fast rate and Dandi's a whole month younger than Lily and also small for her age xD Also I ope the part about the humans is okay, if you guys want I can move it to later?

Where whatever you take Magically regenerates Lilly smiled. "That's a cool name!" She giggled at Dandi's next remark. "That's sooo cool!" She smiled as Dandi jumped up the steps.
She heard the human. "Oh, great! Playtime's over, I guess. they're probably gonna send up one of those fat guys with a netty-catchy thing. Oh! Like tag! Only if you get tagged you go to a big dark room... Like hide and go seek! Only you get shot with a needle thing if you don't get out..."
She lept up the next step. "Let's go sit on those monkey bars. They won't be able to get up from there." Sjhe crouched down and lept to a rail of the monkey bars. "And look! Over there is a pirate ship!" She pointed with her paw. then slipped from the reailing a little. "I'm allllll right," she said, nodding. "C'mon! The fat guy won't get us from over here!" She lept to another rail, making enough room for Dandi.
"It's not that hard. And if you fall, you land on that nice soft stuff donw there... Isn't it sand?" She looked at the sand below her, getting dangerously close to a mother's head. She batted at a fly-away, sending the mother into a screaming flurry, running away from the play structure.
"BABY!" Lilly cried, laughing. "That was fun. And look, I cleared the way. No scarey humans." She spoke in a 'scary story' voice when she said humans.
"There's a orange cat on the monkey bars! And she attacked me!"
Lilly rolled her eyes. "I didn't attack you. I played with your hair. Big. Big. BIG." From talking so loudly, Lilly lost her balance and lost her footing in her from foot. She slipped it back onto the rail. "Difference, Mrs. Tattletail." Lilly stuck her little pick tounge out at the human. On super market shelves, The ovens clean themselves.
Admin's Note on August 25th: This thread is being locked and archived seeing as it doesn't look like Cadence will be replying soon and Vion is now on hiatus. We'll say that Dandi and Lily become friends with each other and maybe talk a little with Cadence.
