Plot/Intro: Today's world is full of technology. It's overflowing with it, truthfully. In a world full of technology where you can spy on your next door neighbor's family reunion or see what's happening in Bangladesh at this very moment, there are bound to be people who use it to their advantage. And not in a good way, either. They use it for the wrong reasons. So there's got to be someone to stop those bad people.
Do notice that the last paragraph showed no side? That's because this war has the capability of shifting in either direction. Half the reason this war started was over one thing: oil. We need it for more than driving cars. It provides the fuel that keeps our homes warm, it flies our soldier's planes and fuels the tanks that protect us every day overseas, and it even helps make the plastic that Americans discard daily. Let's face it: the world would be in big trouble if we ran out of oil tomorrow.
There are three groups of countries in this war. The first group is the Jingoes. (Yes, this is a real word!) The Jingoes are the countries that want the oil prices lowered. The second group is the Runagates. (Yes, this is an actual word!) They control the oil, they want the money and power. The third group is known as the Tergiversators. (Yes, this is also a real word!) These countries are considered neutral, though they change sides in the war by the week it seems.
This is where things get twisted into politics. The Jingoes control the OSS. What it stands for is classified information. It is an organization of federal agents from its countries all working together to stop the Runagates. The Runagates claim to have an organization of spies as well, but theirs are better classified as assassins and extremists. The organization is called Baxter and Sons, Incorporated. They claim to be an advertising company, but there are those who know better. The Tergiversators want as little to do with the war as possible, so their "warriors" are simply civilians.
The common world is completely oblivious to the fact that World War III is happening right under their noses. So now it's up to you. Armed with this highly classified information, you must choose a side. Will you fight to lower oil prices (with the aid of technology) and become a Jingo? Will you fight for insane amounts of money and limitless power (with the aid of technology) and become a Runagate? Will you live your life like any other person (armed with technology, but much more primitive) and side with the Tergiversators? Only you can decide how this war will end. Only you can make it happen.
