{ Reserved for Plum Raindrop and Twilight Spitfire } Dandi giggled to herself as she traced her way back to the woods, plunging inside this time instead of getting entranced by the river. When she saw that she could only think of Reed hating her and that did not fall under the pleasant thought category she was determined to stick within. Not at all. "Maybe we'll see a bear!" she called back with a grin. Ooh la la, wouldn't that be sooooo cool?
She glanced up. The trees blocked up most of the sunlight but there were some nice patches. It looked to be about late afternoon. Today had been such a long day - finding Reed, fighting with Reed, meeting Plum, meeting Twix, and now exploring with the two of them. Dandi purposely didn't refer to them as 'the pair of them'. Even though it was just a way of expressing themselves, she wanted to do as much as possible to distance the pair. Twix should find her amazing - not Plum! But she was determined to be happy so she pushed these thoughts away and decided to ignore it.
After all, eerything goes away if you ignore it long enough.

Plum smiled brightly at the little kitten. "Danid, this place is beautiful." She gazed around at the tall trees, the green grass, and the little river. She smiledhappily, but got a odd vibe off of Dandi. She seemed to be deep in thought, remembering something. This is where Reed and her fought. She sighed, hoping it wouldn't make the kitten to upset. Plum turned to Twix. "i sure hope we don't see a bear. I don't feel like being lnuch." She giggled quietly. "Although it would be sort of exciting to see one. Just let's avoid being his meal." She smield and trotted over to the edge of the river. She batted at the water with her paw. The cool liquid drifted through her fur and in between her claws. She felt exposed and vunerable, but rather peaceful.

Following the two females, or mainly the younger one the emerald eyed calico watched the world around him. He admired nature’s beauty. ‘It’s so peaceful, and beautiful. Beats being inside an old, stuffy house all day. That’s for sure.’ He watched the small thin rays of light peek through the groove coverage above, blocking out most of the sun. ‘The way the light dances, it’s so calming.’ His eyes went to Dandi as she spoke of meeting a bear. “That would be… rather exciting.” He hesitantly choice his words, the idea of running into another creature much larger than themselves that could easily mortify them with one swipe of its large massive paw.
“This place is beautiful.” He said absentmindedly; agreeing with Plum’s statement. He didn’t even consider Dandi’s quietness. Although it would be unnatural for a kitten as young as her to be quiet, when she was just moments ago filled with bustling energy. As Plum turned to him he looked at her and nodded in agreement once more. “Let’s try and avoid direct contact with one. A small peek never hurt however.” He grinned, his stub of a tail wiggled slightly. He watched Plum play in the water slightly and chuckled, crouching down slightly before he pushed off with his back legs and leaped into the river splashing the two of them with the sparkling water.

The black and white kitten grinned up at Plum, all animosity forgotten. "I have a talent for finding good spots," she said with a grin - proudly but in a teasing way. She was acting it up a bit. She snorted. Of course Plum wouldn't want to see a bear. She was too boring. Twix, on the other hand... Dandi's heart sped up a little bit as she anticipated the tom's response. Plum said something about not minding seeing a bear as long as they weren't its meal and Dandi nodded as if she was attentively following along.
“That would be… rather exciting.”
Dandi's head lifted and she straightened up eagerly, beyond thrilled. "Super exciting," she said with a grin, nodding and trying to remain casual even though she was bursting with excitement already - maybe she didn't need a bear after all. She grin and nodded again. "Nope. Pecks are good," she quipped. She blushed. "Well like... a small price to pay kinda thing since we'd get to see a bear!" She couldn't stop grinning.
She gave a shriek of laughter as she was suddenly splashed with river water by none other than Twix himself. She giggled. See? The river could be so much fun. Only Reed had to go make a problem out of it. Twix was much cooler than her brother - but she had known that all along. "I'll get you," she giggled, and, in mock revenge, splashed some water up into Twix's face, eyes glinting mischieviously and with the simple excitement of having fun with the tom.

Plum slipepd into the liquid, without trying to splash anyone. She didn't want to be in the middle of a full out splash war. She knew she would get soaked even if she were 10 yards away. "Let me guess, the splash war has begun?" She giggled and grinned at Dandi. "I think you'll win. Your size is a good advantage." She offered Twix a grim smile. "Say good by to being dry at all! Your gonig to be soaked!" She backed up a little, so she would hopefully be out of the impending splashes. She sure wasn't about to get completely soaked, especially since the sun was going down. It would be cooler soon.

Twilight’s laughter rang out in the air like music as the two females splashed him with water. Unlike most cats, this tom did not mind the water. It was fun to play in, and tasted wonderful when he was thirsty. “Haha, you got me.” He admit grinning at the two females, his fur clung tightly to his body, making him look probably half his usual size. ‘Or more like a drowned rat.’ He thought, recalling what his owners would say he looked like when they would give him a flea bath.
A mischief filled grin crossed his maw as his eyes glinted with a devilish look. “Oh ho ho, the war has just begun!” He exclaimed, kicking up more water at the other two females. He started running away from them, splashing up water behind him as he ran through the river. He watched his paws for a moment as the water lapped up and licked at his already wet fur. The small rays of light danced even more as the water moved rapidly under his paws. Jumping out of the river he leaped up onto a low tree branch and climbed it with little effort, holding onto the bark with his sharp claws. Like a dog he shook his fur off. Instinctively he started to lick out the access water. He wondered if Dandi and Plum would find him up here.
Looking up for a moment to see where Dandi and Plum where he gapped at the amazing view he had of the forest from up here. “Whoa…” He could see just about everything. He could see the river, and the bushes that littered the bank along side it. He could also see Dandi and Plum, as well as the other tress around them. Some of the trees where shorter, while on the other paw some where a lot taller. He looked up, his eyes dilated into slits as light entered his eyes from the sun that showed through the small gapping holes in the groove coverage.
“This place… it’s amazing.” He sighed softly, bliss. He was free, free from the life as a house cat. He was no longer trapped inside the stuffiness of a dirty mistaken care of house that hindered him of sunlight, and the fresh cool air that did not go through a filter first. A small smirk played on his lips as a slight chuckle escaped them. “Whiskers… I will become a great stay like yourself, you’ll see.”

Plum feld from the river, hoping up onto the bank. She shook the water free from her fur, and licked at her fur, making sure it was tangle free. She smiled at Twix's comment. She gazed around at the surroundings and nodded. "It is pretty wonderful." She trotted over to him, hopnig Dandi would join them. She sat down beside him, in a small shed of light to dry. As she gazed up at the top of the tree's, golden pockets of light broke through the canopy of leaves over head. It gave everything in it's path a golden shimmer. It looked like something straight out of a fairy tale. For a moment Plum thoguht she was all alone, it was so peaceful. "I lvoe it." She said to no one in particular.

Dandi giggled with Plum. Water clung to her belly fur and soaked through her paws to the bone but she couldn't have cared less. She was having the time of life - partying and having fun with other strays. This was what being on the streets was supposed to be like. Why couldn't Reed get that? Whoah. How had Reed crept into her thoughts? She was having fun without him. She pushed all Reed related thoughts away just as fresh water from Twix's kicking hit her. She squealed, prancing off a bit in the water.
With her right paw she swooshed some water at Twix's retreating form with a shrill laugh. "I'll get you back, Twix!" she siad, still laughing as she did. She glanced down at her reflection in the clear water. She was grinning, exhilarated and happy. And wet. She giggled, smoothing her fur down a bit with her tongue. “Whoa…” She glanced up at Twix's amazed-sounding voice. Where was he? It took her a moment to spot him up in the tree. Plum was there too.
She trotted over, shaking the water out of her fur like a dog and not pausing to bother to smooth it down. She leapt up nimbly as if she'd been climbing trees her whole life when really, she'd never been this high before. The view startled her so much that she nearly fell off. It wasn't so much that it was pretty - Dandi had seen pretty things before - but it was just... the whole idea of seeing the world from above... Now that was something she hadn't experienced before.
"Whoah..." she echoed.

Plum smiled at Dandi. She seemed to be enjoying herself. We'll let her have her way. So she can stay happy. Hopefuully she'll forget about Reed. I'm sure she's worried. She seemed a little surprised that in her mind she used the plural, we. It seemed odd to ever think of Twix and her in any category remotly the same. If she had met he before Fly, she would have never dreamed she could even talk to him. That like any other male. She had never been so outgoing with males, but Fly gave her courage. The thought of a family, with a mate and kittens seemed so much nicer now, seeing it from this perspective.

Twix smiled as Plum joined him up in the tree. He slowly nodded as she stated it was wonderful. “Ah, that it is.” He flashed her a small smile; he was really enjoying himself out as a stray. Dandi and Plum, who else would he meet while out on his new adventure? ‘This sure is different from being a house cat I have to admit.’ He thought taking a deep breath of the addicting deep air of the wild. It was so refreshing.
His ear twitched slightly as his emerald orbs caught sight of a black and white creature he knew it was Dandi. He chuckled at her as she tried to climb up the tree, catching her by the back of her neck as she nearly fell. “Careful now.” He said through her fur as he carefully placed her back down on the tree next to him and Plum. “There we go.” He smiled down at her, and glanced up at Plum, the same smile plastered on his maw. He felt so content here with the two of them. Plum and Dandi. “So what should we do now?” He questioned the two females as he grinned a little, he wanted to explore and have some fun.

Dandi felt someone gently catching her by the scruff as her feet slipped on the branch. She let out a small "Eep!" and managed to right herself. She turned around and flashed Twix a smile. "Thanks." Okay, she would so not blush. That would be too weird. Especially because she was just a teensy bit too young for him. But seriously, what was a year a bit? When you were grown up... nothing! Completely normal. Only problem was... she wasn't yet grown up. Turning away from Twix on the pretense of viewing the sun, Dandi made a face. She'd be all grown up soon. It was kinda bad because then if she acted the way she was, no one would blame it on her being a kitten. It was almost like a disguise. She smirked, shaking her head slowly before turning back to Twix as he asked a question.
She blinked, not really sure what to answer. But... wasn't she supposed to be their guide? Shouldn't she have had some clue of what a great new fun adventure was? She sucked in her cheeks for a moment before exhaling softly. "Whatever you want, I guess," she said with a little laugh. "Honestly, I don't know my way around all that well, either," she admitted with a bit of an embarrassed giggle. "Sooo... you're guess is a good as mine?" she concluded with a snort. Alright so maybe now she felt a bit stupid but seriously, there was no way she could guide. Why had Plum even suggested her? So that her and Twix were the ones being led around and Dandi was cast off and excluded from that part? The idea struck her so forcefully she was surprised she didn't fall off the branch.
No way! Dandi hated being excluded. Er, at least now she did. It had never happened before! She was always the center of attention, wherever it was that everyone wanted to be. But now... was she being excluded? Her bottom lip trembled slightly. No way. She couldn't cry. That was probably the worst thing to do if she wanted Twix to think she was all mature and stuff. Maybe she wrong. It was certainly possible. Maybe... Plum had been trying to make her the center of attention? Hmm. It was possible. But then Plum was still the one on the side with Twix and Dandi wasn't. Breathing out impatiently, Dandi rolled her eyes and pushed that thought away. It wasn't important right now. She needed to focus on what was important. So she glanced up at Twix and flashed him a smile.
OOC: Omigod, I'm so sorry I hadn't replied. That is crazy long time and completely unacceptable, I know. I thought it was Plum's turn to post and she's kinda absent-ish so I kinda put this thread out of mind. Ah, soo sorry. It was fun posting though, Dandi's so crazy when it comes to Twix

Chuckling at the kitten beside him, Twix gave a cheery smile down at her and a short nod. "Why not go find those bears you where so excited about now, hm?" He encorganged, sure he didn't really want to run into a bear, but it was or would be excited. Besides he didn't want to disappoint Plum and Dandi. They both seemed excited about seeing a bear. "As long as we don't get too close." He added with a wink of his vivid green emeralds. Twilight was still new to the fact he wasn't a house cat anymore, he belonged in the wild, he was a stray. 'A stray cat. Twilight Spitfire the stray.' He chuckled mentally as the words rolled off the end of his tongue. It wasn't horrible sounding, and he was releaved to be free from the abuse he took while being a house cat.
Carefully the tom cat climbed down out of the tree he had so gracefully perched himself up in to hide from the two females. Landing on all fours the tom licked his paw and groomed his fur on his face. This only lasted a minute before he turned to look up at the two sitting in the tree still. "Common, we're waisting daylight here!" He called up to them with a laugh, he was joking of course. He wasn't rushing them, they could take all the time in the world as they wanted. After all Dandi was really the one showing him and Plum around, not him showing them around. She knew the area better than he did. He hadn't been here before, or anywhere else for that matter besides the old road...
It seemed almost like yesterday he had been thrown out on the road. However it was probably the most releaving day of his life. The day he finally escaped that hell-hole of a god for saking place he wouldn't dare call home. 'More like hell.' He winkled his nose slightly, sitting down on his rump wiggling his bobbed tail as he waited for Plum and Dandi.
Admin's Note on August 22nd: Neko and I have agreed to end this thread seeing as Plum is on hiatus for a while. We'll say that they chat a bit more and explore the woods a bit but don't go that far inside, maybe splash around a bit more. This thread is now getting locked and archived.
