What did you... Down a road, violet wandered, unknowingly. Wandering farther and farther, grass and ditches became stalls stalls all closed at this time. A different scent luring around each one. Sniffing the air for a scent of food, violet found the small remains of chicken wings. Licking the bone clean, she lay done on a sack of rice and began to feel her eyelids getting heavier and heavier, and she drifted into the eternal darkness of dreams.
Violet runs through the forest, afraid of something she never knew she was afraid of. She can hear it's footsteps tailing her at a quick pace. She jumps for the tree and scampers up it like a squirrel. The creatures tries to follow her up, but is left waiting for her to come down at the bottom. Violet can feel her heart pounding against her ribcage. She knows she will have to come down if she wants to survive... But then she'd die. She spots a place where a branch of the tree shes in and a tree a bit away cross. She takes the chance and slowly crosses over it...
SNAP!
She falls on the ground an attracts the creatures attention. Quickly, she makes for it dodging bushes and trees like she knew the forest as well as the back of her paw. She turns around to see the menacing teeth and intimidating claws...
just call me?

I don't want to a l w a y s
Moon blinked, staring around at her surroundings. She was in a market, and it was hard to believe the amount of humans that gathered in such a small space together. The sun shone high above in that huge blue sky, and if she looked hard enough she could even see a few birds circling above, waiting for the chance to just swoop down and take...
Crack!
Bone snapping, Moon thought tiredly. That makes me hungry. She looked around again, trying to pinpoint where the sound had come from. She was still a growing kit, and needed lots of food to mature, after all. So the violet eyes searched the crowded space and she closed her eyes to try and get the scent...
Yum.
Her eyes snapped back open and she found it, a big stall selling multiple types of meat. Picking out one of her favorites, chicken, she attacked, leaping up onto the counter despite the cries of surprise and outrage that escaped the human's mouths. Clean white teeth grabbed a drumstick before Moon dived back down, landing with a quiet thud. She raced off behind the stall, looking back to see if she was being trailed. Her mistake.
Fur met plastic as she ran face-first into a bag of rice, accidentally tearing a hole in the bag. The rice poured out, and Moon squeaked before shoving a big white paw in the hole to keep it from leaking. It stopped, and she sighed in relief- but it caught in her throat when she spotted the big ginger-and-white she-cat lying on top of the lump. Heart beating fast, she hoped that she wouldn't attack- With the paw in the rice and the chance of tailing humans, she was trapped.

OOC:Yeah, violets never knew any other cat with purple eyes Rushing through bushes and dodging trees, Violet ran through a dark forest. Smelling the foul scent of her follower she pushed her legs harder and harder. No use, she would have to do something else. Swerving out of the animals way, she climbed up a tall oak tree and sat at the highest branch. A range of emotions swirled around her head. She was, of course scared of this creature. But as well happy and confident that she had made it into the tree.
Scratch...scratch
It was quite obvious that the creature had smelled her out and was waiting for her to leap down. Not gonna happen! Violet thought. Another few minutes had passed and the creature had not moved. It lay fixed on the tree. Violet scanned for any alternate exits. a branch that crossed another tree but... Something seemed familiar about it, and.... bad.
Violet awoke with a startle as she started to feel as if she was going down. "Ahh, what- what- wha-" She saw a small kit standing in front of her. She had white fur and..... purple eyes! The kit had purple eyes!
Immediately, Violet made sure she hadn't scared the kit. "Sorry about screaming, I uh just felt the rice sack that i was sleeping on fall and then I had no ide-" Violet paused to take a breath and noticed the hole in the rice sack. "Oh.... never mind then" she chirped cheerfully. "Oh my goodness, I'm sorry I'm Violet Wildflower, but you can just call me Vi or Violet, whatever you'd like" She shot the kit a smile. "I love your eyes, such a deep purple" Violet smirked.
Then she remembered, the dream... the creature.... Maybe that was why she had screamed. Probably not, she hadn't screamed at all during the dream. But wait, she had had the dream twice that night, each ending at different stages of the story. Well, all that didn't really matter now.
Violet looked into the sky, it seemed to be about noon. Since she hadn't eaten since last night, and she could feel her stomach growling. "Do you want to come with me, I'm hungry?" Violet stalked towards the same stall that she had stolen food from... but there was someone there. What? How was she going to steal now. Violet sat down, defeated after a few minutes of puzzling over this conundrum. Finally, she walked up to the stall and meowed. The shop keeper looked down at her, and out of pity threw her a scrap or meat. She playfully tossed it up into the air and caught it in her mouth. Then she went over the shop keeper and nuzzled his legs. He smiled at her than went back to serving his customers. She winked at Moon. Ah, she was getting slightly bored. She'd rather be...-suddenly she had an idea to pass the time.
Running over to Moon, she tagged her and began to run away. "You're it!" Through the crowds of people, she dodged left and right.
Smack!
She ran into a man carrying tomatoes. With a dizzy head vi sat up, just as the tomatoes were down and again
Smack!
Violet had tomato all over her. Turning around to see how far back moon was. She continued running. Around a corner, through an arch, over a fence and into the dump. Smelling Moon close behind her, and becoming tired, she hid in a mountain or garbage, and waited for Moon. Time passed and Vi fell asleep.
This time she was only asleep for a short amount of time, but just long enough to see the creature in her dreams. It was a broad-shouldered, big-muscled, sharp-teethed, long-clawed, ferocious..... dog!

ooc: Oooooh, lol sorry about that I was looking and I didn't see any reservation so I thought it was open. Then again, it didn't say open either so I should've thought... Oh whatever, this'll be fun!
Moon laughed at Violets comment on her eye color, she had been just as startled when Vi had opened her eyes to reveal purple ones like hers. For a while she had thought that maybe she was the only one, but after seeing the well-named Violet, she knew she was normal. Well, as normal as a hyper-active, all-over-the-place year old kitten could be, that is.
Grabbing the bone she had chewed the meat off of, she stuffed it into the hole before sliding her paw out again, and grinned as her eyes followed Violet's movements. The cat had slyly tricked the meat vendor into giving her a slab of meat, and Moon couldn't miss the triumphant wink Vi shot her before wolfing it down and proceeding to run over and whack Moon playfully, yelling, 'You're it!'
The white kitten immediately took the bait, chasing Vi through the crowd and giggling.
'You can run, but you can't hide, Vi!
The chase ended abruptly though when Violet ran head-first into a man carrying a package of tomatoes, and she was covered in the slimy red fruit within seconds. Moon tried to stop, but her paws touched the red gunk and she slipped on it before sliding all the over to Vi and bumping her before coming to a stop. This stuff is as slippery as ice! Moon thought before bursting out laughing. The man had begun to shout and they were drawing a crowd, so Moon followed her friend through a maze of buildings until the orange-and-white she-cat came to a stop behind a pile of garbage. She had begun to doze off and Moon followed the example gladly as her eyelids drifted over the purple orbs. She yawned anyway, and spoke up before she fell asleep,
'Hey Violet, how long have you lived around here, anyway? 'Cause I've been here a few months now and you're the first...cat I've met with eyes like me. Are we...common?...
The trip had been tiring and Moon yawned again between the words 'first' and 'cat'. She trailed off before lapsing into a light sleep.

OOC: Thanks Lu Talk about
Uncomfortably, Violet woke in the middle of the night. Smiling, Vi noticed that Moon had fallen asleep. Remembering the game of tag she had played with moon, she looked down at her sticky, globby, red coat. Violet wrinkled her nose in disgust. Glancing over at moon, she noted her relaxed and contented face. Violet sighed, knowing that she needed to wake moon up. Grooming, her Violet quickly woke up her new friend. "Moo-oon, I forgot to wash my pelt, now it's all sticky and.... Blech!" Violet looked down at her disgusting pelt. "Can you please come with me, I don't want to go alone, It's dark and scary.. Pleeeeeeeeeease?" Violet smiled. Up and over the fence, Violet jumped. She ran with Moon at her side, all the way to the forest. Before entering, she made an abrupt stop. "It's scary.... What if there's a monster in there?" She nudged Moon infront of her, then, remembering Moon was younger than she was, stepped infront of her. "I'll go first" She carefully stepped into the forest and was met by a sharp, cold wind. Wincing, Violet stalked through the forest, trying to make the least noise as possible. When she reached the stream, she shook out the tomato and let the water soak her skin. Her skin felt lighter... then ever and she felt refreshed.
Exfoliation!

Moon sat upright before fully waking up. Violet had called her, and Moon couldn't really go into deep sleeps often anymore- she never really felt safe unless she was in her Hideaway- the hollow space in the dump her and Juni had proclaimed their new home. So she was awake within seconds wile Violet explained her problem. The white red kitten looked down, realizing she too was covered in tomato.
'Go with you to the river? Of course Vi, this is so-oo-o uncomfortable, I can't believe I fell asleep like this! I must have been pretty tired...'
She mused faintly before shaking her head. It felt like a thick layer of seaweed covered her, it was hard to believe she hadn't noticed it before. Crunching and crumbling off of her while she walked was disturbing enough, but the smell was even worse. As Vi voiced her fear, Moon couldn't help but shiver as well.
'M-monster?'
The kitten wasn't afraid of the four-eyed, octo-squid, fanged monster, that wasn't really a monster to her much as the horrible...dogs that had chased her weeks back. It was true, they continued their chase in her sleep, but she wouldn't let her new friend go alone. And besides that, she didn't think she could fall asleep in the state she was in twice in a row.
But to her relief, Violet stepped forward and went first, and soon they were standing at the side of the stream for a quick plunge. The water was icy, but it cleaned away all tomato.
Moon relaxed in it's cold grip, closing her eyes as her fur floated out off her sides under water. She saw the occasional whiz of silver or gold as a fish darted past, and her tail swished.
Then all of a sudden, a huge school of fish came running down the river, occupying every space in the stream. She gasped at the colors, and the tingling feeling they left on her if she happened to graze her. Swimming between her legs and right past her, she even saw a few leap a few inches into the air before falling back down and continuing it's journey.
'Vi, look at them all! This is incredible!
Laughing, she batted at them with her wet paws, bouncing a few into the air and catching them, popping them into her mouth. They tasted like the water, only juicier. Grinning madly, she turned back to her friend, holding out a green minnow.
'Would you like a piece of sushi?'
She joked before turning back to the water. The moon shone high overhead. She lifted a paw and mentally poked the great white lump. I'm nothing like the moon. She thought, but smiled anyways. Of course I should aim for the moon, she told herself, because even if I don't hit it I'll land among the stars! And as if on cue there was a bright flash as a falling star made it's way across the sky. More joined, and soon they were looking at a full-on meteor shower.
This night just keeps getting better and better!
Whoa, long post. I didn't even realize!

OOC: I know, Its hard to realize when you make long posts Run, run, as fast as you can You can't catch me, Violet watched nervously as a cloud of shimmering objects moved closer to her. What were they? As they came closer Violet could make out the hundreds of fish. Tickling her, they kept forward and swam underneath her. Violet giggled, staring at the amazing creatures. She watched as Moon popped one in her mouth. Copying her, Violet scooped up on of the shimmering creatures and popped it into her mouth. "They are amazing" Noticing that Moon gaze had moved from the fish, Violet followed to the Moon. Without a wait, the sky lit up, as meteors showered down. Somehow similar to the fish. All moving together as one. But this was no time to think, she was surrounded by the beauty of nature.
To Violet, the sky was the thing in nature that amazed her the most. How stars could shine so bright bedazzled her. Vi wondered if she was a star to anyone. Maybe she was someone's star. Maybe she was considered as bright as a star. Glancing at Moon, Violet could tell that something was bothering her. She also realized that the light in the sky made Moon's pelt illuminate and shine... just like the moon. "Moon, it's just, your pelt, it's shining like the moon." Violet smiled, knowing that she had made Moon feel better.
The Meteors kept the sky illuminated until dawn, but somewhere inside of her, Violet knew that they hadn't stopped, that they had just became invisible with the sun. Yawning, Violet nudged Moon. It had been a very long night. And Violet could feel her energy level being low.
Gohl
Violet's stomach rumbled, she could smell fresh, live meat in the air and she signaled for Moon to follow. Swishing her tail as she went along, she stalked away from the stream. The scent growing stronger, Violet finally spotted the smell. A cute little rabbit. Without hesitation, Violet pounced on the rabbit, turning the rabbit into a fresh kill. She nudged it over to Moon, offering the first bite. Violet waited after Moon to sink her teeth into the warm flesh of the rabbit. Finishing everything except for the bones, Violet buried it and continued on her way. "Mmmmmm... That really hit the spot, now didn't it?" Violet winked at Moon. Moon was such a great friend to Violet. As they emerged from the forest, the scent of garbage started to waft towards them. Compared to fresh rabbit, this was gross.
Wrinkling her nose in disgust Violet bounded towards the dump. Violet stopped, dead in her tracks. There were humans, with boxes. They looked dangerous. Pushing Moon back into the forest, Violet hid behind a bush. She could see a small kitten in one of the boxes. It brought sorrow to Violet's heart. Poor thing, we need to get her out. Violet quickly made sure that Moon was hiding too and explained her whole plan.
"Ok, so I'll run out and be a distraction to the catchers. Then, I want you, to go behind their car, wait for me to give the signal... Which is me meowing. When I do , I want you run up behind the man holding the cage with the kitten in it. Bite him as hard as you can on the leg. Out of shock he probably throw the cage, and with any luck it'll open. Once the kitten out, you'll carry him since your faster. Than we'll both run through the dump and into the market place. With all the people there, they'll never be able to find us, alright?" But Violet didn't wait for a response, she was dead set on saving that kitten.
Violet shot out of the bushes, catching all the attention of the catchers. They circled her. But before any of them caught her, she dodged out of their circle and created a collision between two of the men. Violet giggled, those humans were SOOO stupid. Continuing to the plan, Violet made sure that Moon was in her place and....
MEEEOO-OOOW....... OWWWWWW!
The man shrieked, and just as expected, flung the box out of the circle. Violet started running towards the dump, making sure that Moon was following. They fled around the piles of garbage in zigzags, hoping to loose their followers. When Violet reached the market, she waited for Moon to catch up. Quickly, Moon appeared and Violet continued her flee. Looking back, Violet realized that the humans were very determined to catch her. Sharply turning right Violet stood at the friendly shopkeepers feet and hid behind the stall with Moon.
Violet rested there, catching her breath. "Whew, was that ever a close one, eh?" Remembering the kitten Violet swiveled her head so he was in view. He looked starved, scared nervous and his white coat was covered in dirt. Grooming him Violet thought to herself what would of possibly happened to him if they hadn't saved him. But, no, Violet didn't want to think of that. She was just happy that he was alive now. Meowing at the shopkeeper seemed to work last time though Vi as she meowed at him. He threw down a small scrap of meat, but big enough to feed this kitten. Violet nudged the piece of chicken towards him. He quickly gobbled it up, licking his lips when he was done.
Violet looked at the kitten "So...." Violet started, "What's your name?" Violet could hear the fear in this kittens voice. But, no worries, he didn't have to be scared.
I'm the gingerbread man! ooc: sorry its a bit long

Meow!
Moon jumped at the signal, speeding out and biting down hard on the plastic slip that opened the kennel. The white kitten stumbled out, seemingly dazed, but there was a fierce determination in his eyes as he looked around blindly. The kitten was free, and he was mad.
One of the humans noticed the white cat and grabbed at him, but at the last second he leaped out of the way as the human went crashing to the ground. He wailed loudly, and pointed at the white kitten. The humans began walking towards them.
Moon grabbed the kit's scruff. She would admit, he was heavy, but her months living as a stray had made her stronger and she ran after Violet with long strides. The white kitten beneath her simply went limp and made it easier for her to carry him.
They sped through the dump and eventually came to a stop behind a stall. Violet spoke, and they both nodded. For the first time the green-eyed tom spoke up with a quiet,
'I'm Rawr.'
Moon responded by introducing herself also. She also found him staring at their eyes in wonder, so she explained that, too.
'I'm Moon, and this is Violet. And we're both aware of the fact that our eyes are purple.'
She laughed, poking him with her tail. He grinned, but as he began to sit up he winced and sat back down.
'Are you okay?'
She asked, worried. He was favoring his paw front paw, and his back foot was slightly bent sideways. She cocked her head sideways in question, and he sighed.
'A while back I was in an accident and my back paw was injured permanently. But I must have wounded my front one when I was in the crate.
Moons pretty purple eyes widened, and she exclaimed to Violet,
'Hey, we better get some help or it could end up as permanent as his last injury! I heard of this one cat, Dapple something... Maybe we should look for her?' She asked the white-and-ginger cat, nodding towards Rawr. If they could track her down, they'd be able to fix up their new friend. Perhaps he could help fight off those dogs.
After all, in Nenbrook, anything could happen.

Violet giggled as Rawr stared at their purple eyes. He seemed quite interested. Sympathy flooded through Violet as Rawr winced. But that wasn't the only thing. His ribs poked out of the side of his chest. He needed something to eat.
Dapple? The fur on Violet neck bristled. They were not going to Dapple. No matter what. She did not want to meet Dapple. AT ALL!
Pulling herself together Violet whispered into Moon's ear. "I'm sorry, but we can't go to Dapple." Violet tried to think of an excuse but none came to her. "It's complicated" she finished, hoping that Moon would understand. "Maybe the shopkeeper can help?" But, Violet knew she was pushing it a bit far, he could give them scraps of food, but he could not mend a broken leg.
Well, what about waiting for it to heal, they could do that? But, no, she didn't want to be responsible for a permanent injury because she was jealous.
"Wait, Moon, no, we can try and find Dapple, but if we find anyone else capable of healing, than we will ask them...?" There was a tone of uncertainty in her voice.
With a swish of her tail, Violet signaled for Moon and Rawr to stay still as she checked if there were any humans. Poking her head out of the table cloth, she surveyed the area. None of the faces looked familiar, "All clear" Violet whispered. Happy to be off her butt, Violet bounded through the market. If they found any cat, they would ask if they could help, but most cats couldn't. Well, hopefully they would find a cat that could help.
ooc: we can go into the other threads in shire market and look for cats who can help. lets start by going to Moonlight SHOPPING... we cant go to just a taste cause Vis in that thread.... that would be wierd... lol

ooc: Ok, I'll post in moonlight shopping. Do you want them to meet up with dapple? Because my kitty summer knows a few things about healing and I could maybe RP her alongside Moon until Rawr is better... unless you really did want Vi to meet dapple. Either one is fine with me.
