Signature Size

Alright so this poll is open as soon as you join and will go on until we have enough answers. I originally was gonna do 200 x 500 pixels except the problem is that that can be too similar to biopic size whereas 100 x 500 makes sigs and biopics quite seperate. But I figured I'd let people vote as they join.

Um, I think that there should be a maximum size, such as 500x300 pixels, and we should be allowed to have whatever size signature we want, as long as it doesn't exceed those. Does that make sense?

Hmm. I thought of something along those lines. The only reason I thought of doing a set size was to make it look more uniform. But that can be an option I guess. If anyone wants to vote for having a maximum size and being able to go smaller then just post that I'd probably not want sigs too much bigger than 200 x 500 though.

I quite agree with Chasm. I think 500x300 is a suitable size that wont be a bother to the forum layout. And I think having a maximum of 500x300 and being able to go lower is great, too. =P

Hmmm 500 x 300 might be alright but the votes are in the favor of 500 x 200. I'm gonna let it go a bit longer so that members that join up in the next couple days can vote. If the vote ends up being with 500 x 200 then I think what I'll do is make that the max. and let it be smaller if you want. Those of you who wanted 500 x 300 you can use the pic as you bio pic as long as there's (preferably) no sub-text (names are fine xD) But we still don't know how it'll turn out.

I think I enjoy the 300x500 more only because being a graphic artist -- it gives me more room to play. Though I would ask if we are allowed clickables at 200x500 if that wins but I also noticed that in another thread you were talking about linking out to your biography in your sig via your image. If this was also incorporated and clickables were accepted -- then could we simply have a link under or over our sig (centered of course) linking out to our profiles? :3

Hmm I guess that you could do a clickable pic if the max were 200 x 500 and then have a link elsewhere. I'm kinda leaning towards 300 myself...Okay how does this sound to everyone:

+ Your signature can be any size ranging from 100 x 300 pixels to 300 x 500 pixels.

+ You may, if you wish link your signature to you bio. Here is the code for those that wish to do so but do not know how:

* Make sure to link it after your bio has been moved to the accepted board because that will change the link.

+ Signatures may be 'clickables' as well, meaning that clicking on the signature takes you to the full version of the sig (which would be larger than the maximum and therefor not allowed by itself). Usually the image then says 'Click Here For Full View' or something like that on it. Here is the code for those who would like to do so but do not know how:

Obviously you can not have a sig that links to both so if you do want both then make your sig a clickable and just have a text link to your bio:

Yep, they'll definately need to be centered. Otherwise they drive me insane lol xD I'm working on sigs now doing a bigger style and I was thinking...What would you guys think of having the max 400 x 500 pixels?? It definately would give more room for stuff on sigs but I don't think it would be too too big...Input?


Also the rule about blockquoting is probably gonna be changed: you'll be allowed to blockquote but no more than once. What do you think? (I'm def. changing unless theres a really good argument though lol, I've already edited all my posts) It wouldn't be mandatory though just optional to those who wanted to.

Mm, well I personally like blockquote XD I used to love centering, but I stopped lol. Idk why... I just think that the square has less space to go and move around so my eyes don't have to scroll to a cut-off word xD It would be good to have it as an optional thing.
