Fern heaved in and out of breath. She couldn't believe she actually attacked another cat without thinking. Especially a tom. She wasn't a fan of fighting with toms. With her teeth still bared and her claws sheathed into the toms pelt she drank in his scent and she started to shake violently. Her eyes widened and she backed away from the brown tabby, letting him sit up.
It started to pour know and the four cats were know gettng soaked to the bone. "Cedar....Is that really you?" Fern's ears still set back against her head and she mewed her question wide eyed. Was this cat really her brother? She looked back at the two other toms and they immidiatley lowered their guard. Fern padded toward the tabby tom, and she stared into the similar emerald green eyes.....
She turned to look to the other toms again. Her eyes met with Robin and then Magic. "Guys, this is my brother....Cedar." She mewed softly and pulled herself away from her long lost brother. She tucked her paws beneath her as she sat down. She looked down at her feet. She was filled with confusion and embarassement.

It was like there was actually magic in the air. A shrill breeze flew rapidly through Robin's short orange pelt and his attention was seemingly blown away for a moment, by the shock on the sudden gust of wind. He swivelled his spotty head back round to the other tom, smiling slightly. Although his face was dicected towards Magic, a singular ear spun around, listening intently to some trees. He was certain he had heard something... Ah well. Probably nothing of any significance. To him, at least. His golden eyes spotted Magic twist around to see something, he must have heard it too. When he turned back, Robin quickly dimissed the idea that it was anything important. "Thanks! I'm like the welcome cat, or something similar here. I go around welcoming cats sometimes, it's a greay hobby to help you lot out. But not too many actually become my friend, it's usually just a quick introduction and they're on their way. Do you know any other cats here yet? Apart from me and Fern, of course?" His speckled tail flicked over to the emerald-eyed she cat.
Robin let his attention drift, waiting for the oppurtunity to speak again. He could hardly believe how many friends he had made already, especially today. Oh, and when he met Dandi. That was an important date. Plus, the wood! He remembered the wood. So many scents, and sounds, amazing. He had been worried about living as a stray when he was first abandoned, but he was alright with it now. Everything was ah-mahze-ing. After Magic spoke again, Robin gladly went on about himself for a while. "Me? Naw, why would you want to know about me? I'll tell you though. I was abandoned here a short while ago, and I've been living here ever since. It's been so perfect so far, but I don't think it will last. Something needs to go wrong at some point. Anyways, incase you didn't notice I'm an orange cat with golden eyes and spotty-spot-spots all over my body. I suspect you realized all that, but anyway. What about you then, Misssttterrr Magic?
Almost as soon as he had finished his speech, he whipped around, his ears pinned to back against his cranium. His fur stood on end, and he arched his skeleton into a perfect witches cat impression. If only he was black. Backing away slowly, Robin let out a chorus of shrill hisses at the agressive stranger. There was an unmissable hint of fear in his luminous golden eyes, but he hid it by his feigned ferocity. "What do you want?" He covered up the fear in his voice with more hisses of defiance. The smallish orange cat acted as proud as he could, whilst backing away behind Fern. He was quite terrified, but one of the kitten's skills just happened to be acting. Astonished, Robin padded forwards slightly, his fur lying flatter than before. Fern had pinned down the other cat, and she knew his name. "Fer..Fern?" There was still a hint of a tremble in his voice. "Who is this cat?"

Cedar's paws scrabbled to get a hold in the mud and he lifted himself off of the ground. His green eyes narrowed as he replied to the silver's inquiry It is me! Its Cedar, your brother, you remember me, don't you? The tom bounced in place, ears and tail flicking back in forth and then he stilled. He stared into the she-cat's familiar eyes for a few seconds before shoving his muzzle into her pelt. The comforting scent of his sister flooded his senses and he relaxed all at once.Cedar felt content for the first time since he left the birthing box.He nuzzled her neck feelingly for a moment before backing a step away and lowering his head. He had noticed that the male cats were still bristling and he tried to seem as small as possible.Tail clamped around his hind and ears drooping sheepishly he addressed the two toms "I...apologize for my hostile behavior...I thought you might have food..." I hope they can forgive me. Not many cats take to kindly to aggressive behavior...God, that move was so stupid! I could've hurt Fern... His jade eyes darted frantically between the males, noting their mass and strength. His tail twitched nervously and he had to fight to keep his bladder under control.

OOC-naw its okay dont worry about it at all IC: Magic chuckled and felt his body language relaxing immensely. The Tom named Cedar just simply thought they had food. That was understandable. Magic smiled and flicked his tail again.
"It's perfectly fine. Dont give it a moments thought," Magic said warmly to Cedar before moving his eyes onto Fern.
"And it's lovely to meet you Fern." Magic said warmly to her before turning his attention onto Robin. He listened intently to his words about being abandoned here. Magic's expression shifted to surprise and shock. He shook his head in disbelief and then spoke again.
"Alas, I have a similar story. See I was once living with the humans in a really wealthy area. One day they lost their money and I was just dumped here without any explanation. I guess I am slightly bitter toward them for doing that. I hope that doesn't make me a bad 'person'," he said giving them a wan smile as his ears cocked toward Robin and Cedar.
He didn't dare interrupt what appeared to be a family reunion. Magic knew better than that and turned his attention onto the She-cat named Fern. He raised a forepaw and turned it over so he would be able to groom it. He let his salmon sticky pink tongue caress over his fluffy white fur on his paws and pink pads. Once he stopped, he lowered his paw and looked at Fern.
"What about you love? What about your background?" Magic asked curiously , blue eyes reflecting the warm sunlight making them appear to be crystal blue instead of sea blue. If she was uncomfortable talking about her past, that was fine. Magic wasn't going to push things either. He learned never push a female into doing something she didn't want to do. Magic respected females as well as others who treated him the same way. Another flick of his bushy white tail, Magic realized it hit Robin on the side of his leg. Giving Robin a sheepish grin, Magic cracked a joke.
"I swear that thing has a mind of its own," He said lightly and waited for Fern to respond now. He wouldn't get between Cedar and Robin, specially if they were family. Magic would give them time and talk to Fern for a bit while the siblings caught up on their lives and whatnot. Magic yawned, flexing his lower jaw down, exposing four needle sharp canines before his jaw snapped shut again. One ear was cocked back toward Robin, while the other was turned toward Fern.

Fern was taken aback at the question her brother asked "Of course I remember my own b-brother" and she turned to Robin, pleading with her eyes to calm down. Robin, Magic, Meet my brother Cedar....Cedar Silverweed" As she turned back to stare at her brother she flinched at his touch. But as his scent filled her nostils she relaxed and purred with content. "My brother" She felt very content with meeting Robin, and now Magic, but with her own kin beside her she felt relaxed and safe know the she had.....in a very long time.....
Fern picked herself up, licked her brother on the muzzle, smiled, and flickered her tail beckoning Cedar to come closer and meet her new friends "I hope we do become friends....maybe we can even go hunting! She though excitedly. The rain pitter pattered against the leaves of the tree and Fern couldn't help but feel a spark of hope for the future.
As Magic asked a question Fern sat down to get a better start on her story. " Well I was given as a birthday present to a sweet oldlady. Life was sweet until she perished from old age. Her family kicked me out because supposedly she loved me more then her own daughter. What can I say, I don't blame her. But I was thrown into a lake. She had said something about a 'will' and that Rosie, my master, had given it to me. Humans can be so confusing though."
OOC: by the way Fern and cedar are siblings XD

OOC=yep. magic was just watching the interaction XD IC: Magic listened to Fern's story with a remorseful expression. Why humans did what they did he'll never understand them at all. Shaking his head, Magic turned to Fern.
"I have no idea why humans do these things. It's mind boggling really. But the main thing is now that you're okay and alive and healthy and making new friends," Magic said grinning at Fern as he turned to Cedar.
"May I ask how long it has been since you saw Fern?" He inquired curiously.
It was obviously a long time by the way Cedar reacted to Fern and vice versa. He wondered if perhaps they were just separated at birth and not given a chance to get to know one another. That was sad and he hated when that happened. It ruined so many lives that causes unecessary pain and guilt to come flooding up after years of being separated. True it wasn't neither of their faults, but they would probably end up blaming themselves at one point. Another cool breeze whipped his soft bushy fur in all directions as his tail swept behind him.
Magic decided to groom his face as he raised a paw and licked it before moving it over his entire face and behind his ear. After several moments he looked at the group and gave them a sheepish smile.
"Sorry. I tend to not like dirt too much and constantly clean," he grinned at them. Magic wrinkled his pink nose, causing his whiskers to twitch. He looked at Robin and the others. His stomach gave a low grumble and he realized he was hungry.
"Hey are any of you guys hungry at this point?" he mused aloud and waited for someone to respond. It would be good to go hunting as a group and he knew the perfect place to start hunting. Magic eagerly waited for someone to respond.

Confusion is a funny thing. It prevents some amazing oppurtunities from fitting into place, but can also spoil numerous devious plots. But, as the small group of cats exhanged names and stories, Robin couldn't help lacking understanding of the situation around him. All he could do was flick his golden eyes from cat to cat, and put his ears on overdrive, swivelling randomly to any part of the conversation that might give him some information. He finally earned some understanding when he heard the newcomer ask Fern whether she remembered him. Cedar, the other cat was called? The orange spotted kitten heard Fern's brother speak again, and he thought for a few moments before replying. This cat had frightened him, and he obviously had a strong instinct to revert to agression if he was hungry. "It's okay," Robin mewed slowly, "I won't forget about this forever, but let's pretend it never happened, just for a while since we get to know each other better. I'm sure we can all forgive you," His spotted tail flicked towards the other cats in the small group.
Robin twisted his speckled head around to Magic as he explained what had happened to him in the past. He nodded in understanding, it was a common tale among the stray cats. "Humans! Who needs 'em?" The orange tom's voice was light and springy again, he had completely calmed down after the initial shock of Cedar's attack. Nothing else took his attention for a few minutes as the others spoke between them, and all that he could do was yawn and admire the surroudings. The only thing that was of much interest to him was a sparrow who was dashing through the sky, making strange bird-like noises at random intervals. He could hardly wait to see Dandi again, or have a good fun conversation. This group was alright, Fern seemed very nice, but they were too busy conversing among one another at the moment. He didn't blame them, especially Fern and Cedar because they were, of course, long lost siblings.
Robin smiled as Magic announced he enjoyed to keep clean. The orange cat was in a similar situation, he couldn't stand getting too dirty. "Well, yep I agree," he mewed after Magic's stomach rumbled. "Food wouldn't be a bad idea for now, I haven't eaten in a while. So, who wants to come and where do you think we should go? I think we should try the market, I've been there before, there's loads of food, and it's fun! No problems with hunting there..."

ooc: I have a bad internet connection, so forgive me if I take awhile to respond.
Cedar was relieved that the toms wanted to forget what had just happened and when his sister beckoned, he sat beside her.He noticed the orange-spotted tom seemed wary of him...He hoped that the orange one would understand that hunger made a cat do strange and desperate things. He dipped his head again in thanks and turned to....Magic? Yes, that was his name. "I haven't seen my sister since we were a month old. Those damn humans took us away and then decide to dump us, disgusting creatures..." He hissed and flicked an ear as if to dispel a nasty substance from his fur. When he heard the larger tom's exclamation about being dirty, his tail twitched in amusement. He remembered when he had first traversed the town dump in search of food. The tabby thought he would never get the smell or stain out of his fur. When the young cat heard Robin's suggestion, a faint tremor racked his body.He stifled the urge to tremble and just hoped none of the other cats had seen his reaction. He was sure Fern had felt that and just hoped she didn't mention it. He already knew how much of a coward he was...But food was food. And he was just on his way to town when he had...Surprised these cats. His stomach growled loudly in agreement and he nodded quickly in agreement. He would do anything to get his mind off of his previous embarrassing behavior and rectify that mistake.

Magic listened to Cedar's explanation. He shook his head in disbelief. He seriously didn't understand what those humans thought of were shocking and he honestly didn't want to comprehend them either. Magic pulled himself up onto all fours and stretched, lowering the front half of his body into a 'bow' and yawned as the stretched. He then stretched each hind leg out one by one and started padding toward the area where he knew was goign to have good food.
"Come on guys this way. I know the perfect place to grab some grub," he said grinning at the others.
The main thing is now that they were free and on their own, not having to anwer to anyone. The humans that separated Cedar from Fern surely didn't seem to understand the bond between siblings, yet they even do it to their own children of kin. It doesn't make sense. Magic knew that if he tried to understand everything in the world, he would end up getting a migraine. It was going to be way too baffeling to even try and comprehend the humans and their behaviors.
"This place is pretty good about feeding us 'strays'. They serve all kinds of good food," Magic said brightly letting his bushy tail wag slightly like a dogs. Another chilly and brisk breeze whipped his white and multicolored fur in several directions. He felt the shiver running up his spine but this time he didn't pay much attention to it. The warm weather was starting to go and he knew the cold weather as well as winter was coming in. He only hoped that finding food then wouldn't be such a problem. Magic only had that one worry about the cold winter. Food. Shelter was pretty easy, since there was places to hide just about anywhere you could think of. It was scavaging for food that alarmed him. Though if they all stuck together, it wouldnt' be so bad then. Magic's blue orbs locked onto each as he patiently waited for someone to make the next move.

Fern listened to her brother, her wide green eyes shock with excitement. She had found her brother, her kin, and she admired him so. She let the toms talk a bit, and to let Cedar get well intorduced and get a few words in before it really started to poor and they'd have to scamper for cover. She looked to who had talked a bit and was know staring at his surroundings. She giggled quietly, practically to herself. All talk at once it was indeed hard to keep track of the conversations, but she did hear Magic and he had said something about food. Fern had totally forgot her hunger when she met the orange-spotted cat, and after meeting Magic, and reuniting with her brother hunger had been the last thing on her mind. "I'm starving! Maybe we should get out of this rain and find some food somewhere" She purred outloud. She lifted herself off the muddy floor and peered in the direction of the forest. She breathed in the faint woodland smell and smiled. She took in Robin and Magic's suggestions and tuned to the three toms. "I sincerly don't care where we go, as long as there's food I'm so there." She laughed and started prancing down the wet Old road. She stopped to look back at the toms. "Coming or not?" She laughed.
"All in all this has to the the best start to this new life, as a stray, that I could ever ask for" She looked as the three toms longingly and pranced agin down the road only a couple of yards away. The sun started to break through the blanket of clouds and the birds started to sing their song once more. "Perfect" OOC: Ok who wants to end it?? Or do you gals want this post to tbe the ending post? by the way thank you all!!! Fern is a happy kitty! X3
