Gobbling at the meat, Violet nudged a piece over to Rain. Violet shot a glance outside the junk cave and realized that the rain had stopped, she touched noses with Rain and Hawk. "Bye, I should be going now, I won't forget you. I have a feeling we'll meet again." Leaping into a puddle, Violet splashed Hawk, Rain, and of course, herself.

Splashing through puddle on puddle, Violet made her way through to the dumpster and into the shire market, than eventually into the chicken coop where she was to meet Rowan that night. Skipping along the road to the forest Violet hummed the tune of a chickadee, then found herself craving a bite of chickadee.

Rain watched Violet go as she ate some meat. the rain had stopped, an dnow her nose was protesting. The smells comeing form the dump were appaling, but they alos sorta remined her of home. She finished her piece of meat, and gave her shoulder a few licks to smooth down the fur. She looked over to hawk.

"I'm gonna go look for some other cats who've been dropped oof, or a place to stay. You can come, if you want to." Sh didn't wait for a reply, instead, she picked up another piece of meat and moved off. She may need the meat later, since she wasn't exactly sure how good her hunting was. She walked on down the road, looking for a home and another friend.

He ate his piece of meat in silence until the rain stopped at which point he looked up to watch Violet go. "Bye!, and thank you!" he yowled after her, hoping she would hear him. His pelt twitched making him reach back to lick it down once more, he was starting to smell less and less like his home, the rain had washed it away, washed everything away, even Violet. When Rain spoke up again he lifted his head in response and grinned at her. His eyes sparkled for a moment in he sun as he too stepped out of the den, his fur caught the light and held it so his color was slightly enhanced. "Nahh" he remarked as he sank down into a half stretch beside her. His tail began to flick back and forth with renewed energy, he was no longer hungry and was ready to get moving. Glancing back he realized she hadn't waited for his answer and was already on her way down the road. His cocked to one side as he smirked at her wondering if they would ever meet again. Her whitish pelt seemed to shine in the sun and he almost wished she would look back one more time to see him wave his tail once in goodbye but she didn't.

Swiveling around on the spot he trotted down the sidewalk not knowing where he was going, who he would meet or where his next meal would come from.
