The world was a moving blur, as Robin stared, eyes wide out of the window. This was more of an adventure that he'd ever had. Yes, he had escaped a couple of times and had a few little exciting games, yet this was something completely different. No steady supply of food, no certain place to shelter, no promises of safety. Yet, no boundaries, no limits, and plenty of other cats. He had been alone for a good few weeks now, and he had hated it. Robin Quickwhisker enjoyed the company of others and all the opportunities here exhilarated him. "It's time to go, you...you... you mangy feline! I hate cats, hate 'em!" The woman who was driving the car began to shout at Robin, and all of a sudden the thick layer of glass slid down, revealing an entrance into the outside world.
Robin screeched in a moment of sheer horror, and sharp pink nails dug into his scruff. He squirmed and wailed as his body was elevated, and he winced as he was ruthlessly and mercilessly thrown from the car. He cried out in unbelievable terror, and for a moment of sheer panic he squeezed his eyes tightly shut as he flew through the air. Finally, he was living up to his name. His ears stung as he heard some sharp remarks from the woman in the car, and then he hit the earth once more. Pain stabbed through his shoulder as he crashed into a pile of junk. A single leg of a wooden chair had slammed into his shoulder and his muscle was aching. His small, orange figure lay still and motionless as he regained his consciousness. He hadn't fainted, but Robin's ginger head was spinning and he struggled to concentrate. After a few moments, he strained his body and managed to get to his paws. The searing pain in his shoulder was clearly bothering him, and he hobbled over to a tree stump. Shifting himself into a shifting position, Robin sighed deeply, before glancing around with renewed interest. "Nenbrook..." he mewed, after his gold eyes had scanned a solitary sign. He noticed the amount of cats rapidly conversing around him, he made a note to find some friends within these groups: they clearly had gained some companions.
Noting the whereabouts of anything and everything, he headed off down the path. Hunger growled at his belly, and pain continued to stab at his shoulder. The ground felt rough on his pads, he was used to soft carpets and grass. His golden eyes were still intrigued with his surroundings, and he took a moment to completely evaluate the situation. Robin doubted he could discover the necessary resources to survive alone - he couldn't hunt or fish. Well, he wasn't very sure whether there was prey or fish anywhere near here. Well, at least it was an adventure. A change. Something different.
Robin Quickwhisker wasn't going to be a cat that wouldn't make the most of this opportunity, however dangerous and daunting.

Noticing you
It was a rather nice day. Well, sort of. It wasn't raining so that gave it props in Dandi's mind. She trotted through the woods, feeling slightly hungry but not really caring. At least she wasn't full. It may have sounded spoiled, but truthfully, Dandi would have rather been hungry than full anyway. She always felt so gross when she was full. Ew. She shivered for a moment before giggling quietly to herself and slipping out of the foliage and into the bright sunlight. After a few blinks she was good to go and scampered down into the ditch, wondering if any of the junk was something cool. On second thought, it was probably amazingly dirty. She recoiled and ran up onto the side of the road. It was funny how she'd ended up back here... again. Crazy, really. It wasn't even intentional. She'd been playing at the park and had just run into the fringes of the woods and then ran along them until she came out here. Still, that didn't exactly count as having 'been in the woods'. Not in Dandi's mind.
It took her a second to make out an orange cat that seemed to be heading towards her. Actually... a kitten! Dandi blinked but it was true! Granted, he was a bit older than herself but still. Everyone else around here was an adult and seemed to think they needed to be so darn responsible. Hopefully this guy could provide a refreshing level of change. She smirked and gigggled quietly, scampering forwards to meet him. "Hello-oo," she sang with a giggle, her eyes bright and eager. They widened slightly. His fur! It was orange yes, but it was... spotted! Wow! She felt so untraveled. So... withdrawn. That was stupid. Surely she was up-to-date. Spotted cats just weren't common. Right? She smiled her best shy smile at the tom. "I'm Dandi," she announced proudly. "Short for Dandelion. Dandelion Sunseed actually. My mom called me that cause when I was born my fur was all tufty and fluffy like a dandelion. But not yellow." She giggled again. "Actually for a bit after I was born too." She pursed her lips.It was funny how she had this little opening speech which anyone she met had to be subjected to.
Noticing me
OOC: Bah, sorry its kinda short. It's not that I don't have muse I just... meh, I dunno. Lol, the next replies shall be longer - I promise xD

A forest stood tall and proud not far from where Robin was walking, and he noticed this with a smile. Even though he couldn't hunt yet, Robin could usually make the most out of any situation. Wha....What was that? The orange kitten gave a jump of surprise, as he saw a flash of black and white. It wasn't a large object, he knew that from his glance, but something unusual all the same. He diverted his gaze back to the thing, and he noticed it was moving! Gold eyes squinted, he realized it was another creature. A cat! No wait, a kitten! He grinned to himself at this, he usually got along well with kittens. His eyes tracked he speedy body as she progressed towards him. Robin's orange ears swivelled towards her and he put on his most friendly smile, inwardly hoping to be noticed. He could tell she was younger than him, even about half his age? But she was a kitten, none the less. And a pretty little thing at that.
"Hello-oo,"
After a moment of surprise, Robin realized she was speaking to him. "Hello," he purred. His light-hearted voice was full of anticipation and energy. Excitement bubbled inside him to be talking to another cat again. He missed his early kithood friends dearly, especially his brother... The tom noticed the look of surprise on her face as she noticed his pelt-pattern. He wasn't at all affected by this: he was given strange looks because of his peculiar fur all the time. He struggled and strained, but Robin couldn't hold back a kittenish giggle as she introduced herself, and explained with a quick speech.
"Hi! I'm Robin, Robin Quickwhisker. You can call me whatever you like really, Robin, Rob... The list goes on," His voice wasn't as quick or energetic as Dandi's, but he still had a lot of kitten-like life in his voice, even though he was creeping up to adulthood. "I have no idea why my mother named me that, I didn't have time to ask her... Anyways, it may she ran out of name suiting our colours because, like, everyone in my family are named after birds!" He exploded into a rapid explanation, Dandi seemed to talk like him a lot, quickly, and well into unnecessary detail. ooc:; I'm just as bad! Infact, worse! Anyway, it's fine, don't worry. :]

What a wonderful surprise. Not only was the weather much nicer than yesterday but she also got to meet another cat. And a kitten at that! Out of all the possible cats she could have ended up running - or bumping - into, Dandi would have preferred someone close to her own age. Like this spotty guy here. She gave a quiet giggle at her mental reference to him and than wondered if he would think she was odd. Well, it had been quiet, at least. She bit her lip so she wouldn't giggle again. If she started randomly laughing here, he would definitely think she was a weirdo. And she wasn't. She grinned as he introduced himself as Robin. "Robin," she said with a thoughtful expression, testing the name out. "It's nice!"" She blushed at her mini-outburst, glancing down at her paws.
It wasn't that she was shy - of course not. She just hadn't been around others that were her age for a while. It was definitely different. With adults, everything that you did was oh-so-cute. But you couldn't use that excuse with other kittens. Not that Dandi was woried. She'd just let her flaming personality show and he'd surely be attracted to it like a moth to, well, a flame. "Robin's good for me," she said with a little grin. Rob sounded too short. She liked the name Robin. She frowned. "Didn't have time to tell her what?" she couldn't help but ask, than hope it wasn't something too personal. OR maybe she just hadn't understood what he said - that happened a lot too.
She giggled at his sudden exclamation and the look on his face. "Really?" she managed with a laugh. "Like what? Seagull?" She snorted. "Sorry," she blushed. "My mom didn't really have a system like that. It was me, Lilac, Smoke, and R-Reed." She frowned at how she had stuttered on the last name. Stupid Reed. It was all his fault anyway. She didn't feel guilty or anything. Just mad. He was the one that needed to apologize. Not her.
Of course not her.
OOC: Meh sorry for the little wait, had to set some stuff up. Haha really? Mine looks worse to me. Yours looks longer. So that gets kudos too. -Does word count- Mine was... 380. Yours was... 395!! Haha, mine was shorter.... -blinks- Wow kay I have no clue how it became a shorter competition but whatevs lol. PS: By 'mine' I mean my one before this one. This one is...348. -wince- Even worse. Lol

I'll remember you Forever... Meeting someone more-or-less the same age as him did cheer up the little spotty tom. Robin did enjoy spending time with other kittens too - he preferred it than speaking to adult cats. Ick. Sometimes they could be so boring. Anyway, this little 'Dandi' seemed to be quite a cat. As she exclaimed what she thought about his name, he couldn't stifle a grin. "Dandi," he began testing the name like she did. "Is a nice name too. Dandelion is a bit of a mouthful," he giggled at this point, "But Dandi fits perfect!" He gold eyes were directed at her fur.
The orange spotted cat noticed her blush, and he could feel his face blushing too, he just burst out laughing randomly, before quieting down to listen to what she had to say. He kept his attention on her as she announced that Robin was good. He nodded quickly then, urging her to go on. He bit his lip in embarrasment, he shouldn't have bursted out like that!
"Yep, just like that," he purred. "Oh, and it's fine," Robin mewed after her apology. "Well, my family was never normal, really! And nice names," he spoke the last words carefully, he did notice her stutter. A questioning look appeared on his stripey orange face. Her mood had suddenly changed when she mentioned this, 'Reed'. He couldn't count the amount of questions buzzing in his head. Who was 'Reed'? Why didn't she like mentioning him? What had made her stutter? He managed to force his jaw closed and prevent any more hurried questions from escaping out.
His marvellous intellect had decided that Reed was her brother, and maybe she had fallen out with him for some reason? He remembered when Jay and him had been playing some kittenish game, and Jay had accused Robin for cheating (which he hadn't). They didn't speak for days. He almost laughed at the memory. Robin missed Jay, whatever cat he was now he would always be his brother. And ever, and ever... ooc:; This one is *drum-roll* 133! I win! Okay, I'm not meaning to do short ones this one just happened to be shorter than usual. xD

What's more Dandi still couldn't wrap her head around the fact that she was meeting another kitten. Then again, there were many things that she had trouble understanding so that wasn't saying all much. But still. It was wonderful! All the street kittens were so shy and slunk away before she could even say hello. It was so unbelievably annoying. And now another kitten showed up on the streets - fresh and intact with personality and all. Praise the lords for her sudden and random spurt of good luck. Ans she couldn't stop grinning. He seemed nice too. He could have been stuck-up or some prat or something but no, she'd even gotten to meet a nice kitten. The winds were definately blowing in her favor. Which was expected of course. Dandi was always lucky, always got her way. She'd known that some other kitten would arrive soon enough.
Et voila!
"Yeah," she admitted with a grin. "Dandelion... dandelion. Meh. Too word-ish. I like that I go by something that isn't. Dandi. Much more peppy." She laughed at herself, feeling tons more bubbly than she had in a while, amazingly enough. "Why thank you," she replied teasingly, the strange formality of her words seeming out of place. She mock-bowed and snickered. She was enjoying herself. Robin seemed so sweet. He burst out laughing and she gave a small questioning laugh. That was alright. She could burst out in giggles at the most inopportune times ever so surely it was fine if he was going to burst into laughter while they were having a nice fun conversation together.
"Really?" She couldn't help but giggle. "Did you have a brother named Seagull?" Poor thing, she wanted to add but refrained but doing so in case he actually did and was sensitive about it. It could be annoying when cats but excessively sensitive but Dandi wanted to test the waters with Robin first. She was not going to offend him and have him run off - not when it seemed that she might finally find a friend out here. "Thanks," she murmured awkwardly, completely sure that he had noticed her stuttering over Reed's name. She sighed exaggeratedly. Better for him to know the truth right? That wasn't generally Dandi's credo but she didn't want Robin to think that Reed was dead or something and still grieving. Although that might work... No. She wasn't going to start lying to him already, Funny how her morals seemed to be starting to develop.
"He's my brother," she started off by saying, even though she was pretty sure she'd already explained that much. "He's a stray too and we had fun together at first but then we were playing and he told me not to go in the river and I did anyway and he had to pull me out and was all mad and I mean it wasn't a big deal but we got into a fight - you know those stupid ones that don't mean anything? Well that's what this would have been but then he got too mean and starting saying bad things about me that didn't even have to do with what we were talking about. About how no one likes me and I'm mean and my parents never loved me more than the others - which they so totally did." She took a deep breath, returning to being herself again with her last statement. She managed a small grin. "But it's no biggie. He'll apologize soon enough. Until then though he's dead to me." She managed to speak lightly and casually. It was no big deal to her either. Truthfully she was furious at Reed because of what he had said about her but she wasn't going to say that. It was way too emotional basketcase and she'd come off way too harsh.
How can we tell This is what we were looking for? OOC: 133? No way, it looks way longer. -checks- -giggles- I got 330 for it - yours I mean. Weird. Lol. -checks own word count- 637!! -woot- Haha finally getting long xDD Oh yeah and MOTM earns 100 points, how do you want it distributed between Robin and Osprey?

ooc:; Oops, I meant 333! Wow, I'm going to have some trouble keeping up if you carry on like that. xD Oh and yes please. 50 points each if that's okay. "There'll always be something, something bright... Robin Quickwhisker took the oppurtinity to think - he had missed the company he loved so much, and he was estatic to be with another kitten, once again. Plus, Dandi seemed quite a cat! Not your ordinary boring cat that either ignores you or just goes on about boring things that you don't really care about! Wow, this cat was much more fun than that! Robin was never able to stand tedious adults, but now he had a new life of fun playing with cats his own age! He almost broke out into sudden laughter when he thought of the new life ahead of him.
"Don't mention it, Dandi, Don't mention it," Robin mewed, practising his strange deep voice he treasured so much. It made him seem comically old in his opinion, and he held back a crazy giggle as he heard it. This was the best conversation he'd had in ages! Dandi seemed so great. Robin just laughed as she asked about Seagull, and he shook his head swiftly from side to side in a 'no, but it'd be pretty amusing!' He slipped into silence as she explained about Reed. His restrained himself from laughing about the previous events, and he managed to keep a straight face throughout the small speech.
"I see." He mewed quietly, his mind was buzzing for something interesting to say. Robin smiled softly as it dawned on him. "I remember when I used to live with my brother and sisters. Once, One of my sisters stepped on the other's tail, and they had a huge arguement over whether it was intentional or not. They both said they'd never speak to each other again, but within a few days they realized how much they loved and needed each other, and they apologized. Things like my story and yours happen all the time with kittens our age and younger. I'm sure you'll both come around... I don't really know what the situation really was but I'm certain nobody meant to really hurt each other as much as they did. Don't worry, really. As bad as it may seem, there'll always be something, something bright in amongst darkness, someone there for you when you need them." His voice remained calm and kind throughout the speech, and he smiled warmly. In amongst the darkness." ooc:; Woah. I didn't even know Robin could do that! Quote (c) Robin & Me.

What if I can see it
Dandi grinned at Robin. This was more what being a stray was supposed to be like. Spending her days making friends and amusing herself - having a good time. Reed was stupid to screw everything up for the sake of fighting. Sheesh! Why couldn't he just mellow and have fun? Still, she'd be patient. It wasn't his fault he wasn't as good at having an amazing time as she was. A gift, one might call it. If so, she had many gifts. But she'd already known that. She giggled at the voice Robin used, feeling so refreshed to be with another kitten. Adults took everything so seriously. Did they never have an urge to press pause and just enjoy something? Sniff the roses?
Dandi could feel herself raising one brow as Robin began to tell his story, not exactly sure how it would be relevant. But she quickly lowered it as he continued. Hmm. She raised her brow again at his last line. "Wow," she managed, her voice conveyed her admiration. "I'm extremely impressed Mr. Quickwhisker," she teased. "That's a very nice line there. Someone else tell you or did you make it up?" What a little oddball Robin was turning out to be! In a good way, of course. He was just full of surprises - could you really call something a surprise if you barely knew them though? Still, Dandi's positive first impression was only being reinforced and she was certain that this w as someone she would want to see again after today. Definitely not a random nobody.
But she should probably say something about the advice he'd given her too so she wouldn't seem ungrateful. Truly, it made sense. Dandi had just never been good with being told what to do and while advice wasn't that at all, she still found similarities. She gave a nonchalant little shrug, cute and adorable like the rest of her, she thought with a grin. "I dunno. I mean I know that it was all in the moment and everything but... what Reed said... I mean, he's obviously been fed up with me for a while. But I'm not going to change who I am just cause he thinks I'm a bit stuck up. He should deal with it... right? I shouldn't have to change." Why did she feel so nervous? It was like she wanted Robin to confirm her opinion, to agree with her. Usually she didn't care if someone agreed with her or not. But Robin had made a good impression on her and she wanted to do the same for him.
But I just don't believe it?
OOC: Yeah, lol, it's very awesome

Robin's gold eyes redirected themselves to the ground - almost embarrassed at his speech. He was glad to have met this cat, she had provided the first step into the life of a stray. Is this what it would be like from now on? He would enjoy himself, play, have fun, relax, generally just have a great time! Inwardly, he did know that this was impossible, but he would love it anyways. Excitement bubbled inside him as he imagined his life as a stray, he could be whoever he wanted to be. He could eventually find a mate and settle down, or he could be constantly be on the move, exploring, meeting new people and seeing new things! He smiled at the thought of it. He wondered what Dandi did all the time, but he knew he would love to join in! This life seemed absolutely amazing to the orange spotty tom.
His embarrassment grew as Dandi praised him. "Nobody told me that, no. Sometimes I love to make up things like that to fit the occasion." He purred in response to her question. Robin was really enjoying this conversation, it was amazing to be back with other cats again - and a kitten at that! He was glad he had stumbled across Dandi, and he dreamed of his future. He would try and remain friends with Dandi, he was sure of that, but he'd find other friends aswell and they could all go exploring and having fun, and... The list went on. The orange kitten was getting positively exicted now, and he looked up from his paws, forgetting his embarrassment for a second.
"Well, I agree with that!" He mewed with a smile as she talked about Reed. "You shouldn't have to change. No way. Not for him, not for anyone!" He paused for a moment, and then decided to talk about something else. This subject wasn't exactly a happy one. "So, what's it like then? Being a stray? Is it fun? Is it scary?" Robin asked the questions so quickly he shifted his paws around to balance himself. A grin spread across his face, and he waited for Dandi to reply.

Dandi couldn't help but smirk as the other kitten's eyes darted to the ground. Had he not meant to give such a lovely, wonderful speech? Chiding herself inwardly for being mean, Dandi flashed her favorite smile at Robin. The tiny she-cat opened her mouth but then closed it. Not for lack of things to say - she could think of plenty - but because... well there really was no reason. Weird. She bit the inside of her cheek as she pondered this before exhaling in a sort of sigh, then grinning again. She raised one brow at Robin's confession. "Well then my, my, you're an..." she paused, her eyes glinting. "Intellectual," she praised with a wry sort of grin, her eyes warm and appraising. "Really?" she purred innocently. "Wow, Robin. You're so smart." She grinned again.
She liked Robin, she was sure of that much. He'd make a great friend - someone her own age who was laid back enough to only worry about what was truly important: having a good time. Now here was someone she would definitely expect to see lots more of. She'd met other new strays here and there since becoming one herself but she'd always felt so independent on the streets. She still was but... Ugh. How could she explain it? There were never any expectations. You greeted someone, introduced yourself and maybe had some fun. Then they left and you went to find someone else. You were always on your own - running on your own schedule that only sometimes matched up with others'.
But Robin had the potential to be a friend. Someone that she would see more than just once and someone that she would make plans to see again. Or so she hoped, hating herself for seeming so desperate, even if it was only inwardly. She laughed at his exclamation. "Thanks," she mewed with a grin. "I don't plan on it." She winked at him. Oh she was so happy! She couldn't even justify it past the fact that she was meeting another kitten who would maybe be a friend - though that in itself was pretty big. Robin's question surprised her but she gave a casual shrug. "Not scary," she teased with a mrrow of amusement. "But a check for fun. You don't have to worry about being somewhere or doing anything. You go wherever whenever." Even if it's all by yourself. The last part she figured would be better kept to herself.

A breeze began to ruffle his fur as the small orange cat spoke with his new companion. Robin shifted his weight from paw to paw, and smiled as he instantly forgot about his embarrassment, the careless side of the conversation began again. He didn't need to be embarrassed in front of Dandi, this was a comical and incredibly fun conversation! No need to worry about making a fool of himself. It was way too enjoyable to worry about silly little things like that! He couldn't help it. He couldn't stay serious even if he wanted to, this world was too good to be bored throughout. So many chances. New friends, new places!
"Intellectual? Me? Never! I'm the mad one," He couldn't prevent a grin from creeping onto his face as he heard her. "The one who's more likely to laugh than solve the problem!" His voice was a mischievous giggle, and he sat down with his tail curled around his paws, yet it often flicked off and beat the floor, swishing, rising and diving as he talked. As he heard her second comment, he purred, "Naw, I'm not that good! She cats are and have always been the smarter side of the feline world," he giggled slightly after he had purred this.
He nodded as she announced that she didn't plan to change, and he continued to smile. He was excited at this new cat, they could easily be friends! Easily. They definitely could put up with each other well, better than most of the 'friends' Robin had had. He got to his paws and almost jumped up and down on the spot with anticipation - he managed to restrain himself though. "Not even a little bit?" Robin asked comically, "Must be slightly daunting in the night! So dark, wet, cold," he continued to grin throughout. "Wows, that sounds good. I have being locked up, where you can go nowhere, meet no-one..." His light voice drifted off. "So where do you live? Or do you just wander? If so, where do you sleep, where can I find you?"
ooc:; Oops, wrong account...

Dandi grinned at Robin. This was really nice. She'd never adjusted to someone so fast before. It probably had something to do with her not really having anyone to talk to recently besides random strays. And she was oh-so-glad to start rambling again, she wouldn't deny it. It was just so nice to have someone to talk to again... someone that she could relate with instead of trying to talk to some stray that doesn't care what you have to say. Stupid strays. She preferred house pets. Or just-hit-the-streets strays that weren't yet all mean and spiteful. There was still hope for Robin. She grinned again.
Robin's expression and comments made Dandi giggle and she smiled apologetically. "The mad one?" She bit her lip to hide a smirk. "Really? Nah, I wouldn't call you that." She laughed again, her eyes flickering with traces of playfulness. "Really? Not a problem-solver? Well then, sheesh, what's the use of having you around?" she teased. She still couldn't believe how refreshing it was to just laugh with someone instead of taking things seriously. Too many street cats took everyone so damn seriously and it was bloody annoying, in Dandi's mind. Her brow arched at Robin's next statement and she gave an approving giggle. "Reeeeally? Why, thank you," she said with a mock bow. Straightening up she giggled again. "But you'll regret saying that since I'll never stop bringing it up now," she joked, still grinning.
Nah," she dismissed his question with another little shrug. "As long as you're brave and know how to fend for yourself," she continued, nodding seriously. "Otherwise," she glanced around as if making sure no one was listening or nearby. Her eyes were wide and she leaned in, motioning for Robin to come closer. "Otherwise..." she continued, her voice only a hushed whisper in his ear, ... the monsters will get you!" she shrieked with a giggle, dancing back away from him as she continued to laugh. "I'm sorry," she managed to say between giggles. "Couldn't... resist..." She kept giggling for a moment before finally being able to stop. "Phew, kay, I'm done," she promised, but as soon as she glanced back up at him she wanted to dissolve into giggles all over again. She sucked in her cheeks. "I don't really live anywhere. I guess you could say I'm the type that wanders..." Her heart soared as he asked where he could find her. So he wanted to be real friends too - not just random-cat-I-met-one-day-and-was-nice-to-me friends. "I don't know. Maybeeeeee... we could have a special spot! Like a meeting place!" Her widened and she grinned. "Maybe in the woods! I haven't really been there yet!" Her eyes sparkled with enthusiasm. Oh, she hoped Robin would want to go to the woods with her!

The young orange cat grinned comically, shifting his weight around in pleasure and anticipation. He thought for a moment. This kitten seemed an alright cat. Dandi didn't seem a bad cat all. Better than a good few of the cats he had met previously! In fact, she was better than not bad. Robin knew he could really get to know her - she was the type he could get along with quite easily.
"Well, I'm not exactly normal,"A small chuckle escaped his jaw as he mewed this,"I wouldn't say so anyway!" He continued to smile as she spoke of his non-useful-ness. He shook his head, and fixed his face in a feigned unhappy smile. "I'm no use at all, of course." He spoke solemnly, pretending he actually cared what use he was. Robin soon gave up his act and looked up at Dandi with a muffled laugh. "My sisters used to make me say that all the time. Literally! Once they had this toy mouse, but they wouldn't let me use it until I said that, like, five times!" The kitten purred.
Robin nodded quickly as Dandi said that you had to be brave, and he smiled and padded forwards at her 'Otherwise...'. He dipped his head closer to hear what she'd say next. He let out an amused shriek and leapt up into the air with his fur fluffed out. Biting back laughter, he jumped out on the spot screaming "The MONSTERS!" Repeatadly with mock peril. He calmed down and listened to her, biting his lip, still attempting to prevent himself from laughing wildly. He nodded as she announced that she wandered. Although, the spotted cat's gold eyes widened with pleasure as she suggested a meeting place. "A meeting place? Sounds great!" He couldn't stop himself from leaping into the air with excitement. "The woods? Perfect! I've never been in a wood before, but I've seen pictures! And a film on this metal box the humans call a 'television'! This is going to be fun, I'm sure of it!" Robin, despite his efforts to stay calm was getting way over enthusiastic. He didn't think he could hold it back. But it was too much fun to try too hard.

Make or break
Dandi's fur was buffeted by a small wind, pushing it up and the wrong way into little tufts. She giggled, realizing how much like her kitten self she must look right now. "See what I mean about tufty dandelion-like fur?" She flashed another grin at Robin before smoothing it down with her tongue, then glancing back up at the other kitten, her eyes sparkling mischievously. Robin was so easy to be around, so easy to have fun with. Exactly the breath of fresh air she needed on the streets. Which was why everything about this little meeting was just so damn refreshing for her. And why she just couldn't stop smiling.
A small laugh escaped her lips. "Not normal? Well I knew right away. Why would I be wasting my time on you if you were just as normal as everyone else?" She raised one brow, giggling slightly to herself. No, Robin and his easygoing charm were definitely above and beyond the standards of normal. In her book at least - and she had pretty high standards. "Aww," Dandi purred, giggling despite herself. She clamped her lips shut but her eyes betrayed her inward laughter. "Poor Robin," she cooed, giggling once more as she started to speak. She couldn't help it. It just seemed so sadly cute and funny to imagine what he was talking about.
Even though she'd been trying to joke-scare him, Robin's shriek startled Dandi into letting out one of her own. Laughing at herself, she grinned at the young tom, rolling her eyes. "I scream easily," she admitted with another laugh. She grinned at Robin's approval of her idea, glad that he was all for it. "Perf!" she chirped, her tail curling around her back paws in a mix of excitement and anticipation. "Television? Ooh yeah! I suppose I've 'seen' them before too then," she laughed. "But this will be even better," she promised, grinning. Giggling she wheeled around and began to run off. "C'mon slowpoke!" she called back over her shoulder with a laugh. "Bet you can't beat me!"

The orange cat did notice as the wind picked up quite suddenly, but thankfully because of the way he was positioned it blew his fur backwards and smoothly. Robin didn't really mind the wind. He attempted (and failed) to hold back his laughter as Dandi's fur was blown into tufts. He nodded eagerly when she spoke, before responding. "I sure can! It suits you lots," After he had purred out his words, he replied to her smile with the unique grin of his own. Every cat had a different smile, he knew that for a fact.
"Normal cats are just so boring! They just complain about the wind, and the cold, and grumble a bit and yowl at you for going into their 'territory'!" He mimicked a 'normal' cat as he mewed the last words, with a straight face and a moaning voice. It stuck him (not literally, of course) that Dandelion wasn't normal either. Not at all. He liked that. She was fun, he couldn't deny that. His thoughts drifted off to some random kitten-ish things, before he snapped his attention back to Dandi. "Poor me," he wimpered, acting as if he was too downhearted to speak further. As you may have noticed, the spotty feline did often enjoy feigning all sorts of emotions, and micmicking other cats with his acting skills. He enjoyed it too.
A humorous smile escaped onto his face as Dandi was startled, !See! I'm not the only one who can be scared," he purred a moment aftwerwards. He rolled his eyes as Dandi had done, "Honestly! Bad me! Bad Robin, bad!" He comically flicked his tail at his nose to 'punish' himself. He jumped up as she began to talk about television. "They call 'em, what was it, urrm, oh yeah! Teeveeas. That's it. Something like that, I'm sure," Robin's smile widened as she spoke again, "Better than Television? This is going to be good," He couldn't help speaking with excitement controlling his voice.
The tom leaned back into a playful position, and swiped his paw around playfully as Dandi teased him about being slow, before leaping up into a gallop. "Betcha I can!" Robin Quickwhisker caterwauled, before dashing off as fast as his orange legs would carry him, following the smaller black and white she-cat. ooc:; You can, if you like. :]
