Non-playable characters (NPCs) are a really cool thing to have around the site, especially since its set on the streets with lots of stray cats. Basically, they are characters that are not controlled by a specific member but can be power-played in anyone, whether it be a brief run-in or even a fight. But you cannot have a thread with just your character and an NPC. You may begin a post with an interaction with an NPC but another cat that is not an NPC should join. NPCs can be power-played but in order to kill them you must check it out with me first, though it will probably be a yes unless they are needed as part of a plot. And you don't have to feel guilty about killing someone else's character ;]. NPCs are created by myself for plot or entertainment purposes but can be created only by members who have permission. Creating an NPC can also be a contest prize or birthday prezzie.
That's all for now, PM any questions to me.
The idea to bring NPCs to Carpe Diem was thought up by Apo [Moon Coldbite, Coon Whitekey, Summer Starlight] Thanks, hun!
