Brook was alone, it was nice. She'd met Moon, a kitten and some other cat, but the others' name slipped her mind. She'd only been here for a few weeks, and she liked this place quite alot. Walking along the stream like she often did, Brook took a sincere pleasure in watching the fish swim about. It amused her to no end. The light brown tabby stopped, thinking she might wade across the water. A decent swimmer of her own accord, Brook had taught herself how to swim. It came in handy, especially when you needed to escape. Most humans and cats tended to avoid water, which was very good for Brook.
"I wonder who I will meet today..."
Brook Redwing allowed herself to muse out loud, she enjoyed doing dangerous stunts and rather was itching for a dare. She doubted she'd find any cats out here though, it was annoying how many other cats avoided water. The young queen shook her body, relaxing to peer into the fast stream. She had no doubt she'd be able to wade across, she wasn't very small. But she wanted to hunt first, before scaring off all the small fish. Crouching on the bank, she lifted her right paw, preparing to smack a fish out. Aiming precisely, she hit a fish bigger then a minnow. Making it land a few inches away from herself, sauntering over to flopping fish. Brook pinned it with her forepaws and bit it's body. Killing the silver fish with ease of an experianced hunter. Proud of her kill, the young stray ate it slowly, savoring the fresh flakey meat. She liked water, but didn't often hunt fish. Mice and other rodents were more filling. Her ears pricked in interest at a sound, another cat maybe?
