Plum trotted gingerly down the old road, wondering where she was. She smelt the vague scent of another feline. A girl kitten. She could smell the evidence that made the approaching cat a female and a kitten. Plum listened carefully for the kitten, wondering weather she should stop and talk to her. Plum, your a nice girl, show everyone your love. She nodded as she remembered what Fly had told her to do. She would stop and chat with the kitten. Maybe if she's upset, I'll be able to make her feel better! Plum smiled and pranced excitedly. She would be able to fulfill her promise to Fly already. As the scent got stronger Plum got even more anxious. She wanted to prove to Fly and to herself that she could do it. She could spread the love like he had wanted. With her help the world would be a much nicer place. Well as long as she had a say in it.

The princess is here! Dandi scowled as she trotted down the road. Not once had she looked back over her shoulder. Problem was, she was starting to get a bit lonely. And tired of being upset - she wasn't good at staying angry. But Reed knew that and was probably hoping to use it to his advantage. This thought made her angrier so she kept thinking it - willing herself to stay mad until she got the apology that she deserved.
She perked up slightly as she spied a she-cat no too far ahead. Ooh. Maybe she could make a friend - a nice one. "Hellooooo," she called as she bounced over, grinning. "I'm Dandi," she explained breathily. "What's your name?" It felt good to go back to being her sweet, ditzy self. She didn't like being some mad little kitten. Dandi was much better than that. but she was mad. Which was probably why her face dropped back into a frown as soon as she had finished her greetings.

Plum glanced up excitedly, happy to be meeting another cat. She's so tiny. Plum smiled brightly at the little kitten. "Hello there Dandi, I'm Plum." Plum noticed easily that the kittens face dropped down into a frown, once she finished talking. Plum gave a sorry looking frown. "Are you okay? Is something bothering you?" She plunked her bum down, prepared to listen to whatever the kitten had to say. if she wanted to unload her life tale on her, that was okay. If she wanted to talk about something else, well that was okay too. Whatever the kitten wanted to do, it was okay with Plum. She was just glad she wasn't alone anymore.

Dandi smiled brightly up at the she-cat but it seemed to take more effort than usually. "Hi, Plum! Whatcha doing on the streets?" She tilted her head to the side slightly. She liked hearing stories from other cats. Maybe Plum had an interesting story. "Are you okay? Is something bothering you?" Dandi's lip quivered slightly. No I am NOT okay! My brother HATES me for NO reason and is SUPER MEAN! she wanted to yell. Instead she said nothing. But Plum had sat down and seemed prepared to listen and well talking about herself wasn't hard...
"It'smybrotherReed! Hethinkshe'ssomuchbetterthanmeandhe'snot!" Dandi blurted out in a rush. She paused and forced herself to slow down. "I wanted to go explore by the river and I slipped and he pulled me back and was all 'Jeez you never listen you're so stupid' and then apologized but I was mad and said I didn't accept his apology and then I did but he had taken it back and then he was mad and said I couldn't accept an apology that had never happened but it had at one point. And then he said that I was annoying and no one likes me and even my mommy didn't and I'm ego-something and he wishes he'd never met me and he never wanted to see me again!"
Tears started to roll down her cheeks faster. She couldn't help it. Saying it all outloud made it feel a thousand times worse. "He hates me," she sobbed. "I'm his little sister and he hates me." She sniffed. "And he's the only one I know on the streets and now I have to go home and we were going to have so much fun togehter," she continued to sob. "Now it's never going to happen and I can't be alone cause I don't know enough smart stuff but maybe I'll be okay. But I d-don't know where home is!" she wailed.
She paused, thinking back to Reed's outburst. "He seemed unhappy and said after that he might see me...whenever but I said 'Maybe' cause that wasn't an apology and I deserve one." She blinked and glanced up at Plum. "Right? Or am I as a-annoying as he said? Is he r-right?" she stuttered. It couldn't be true could it. She was cute and lovable. Not someone that no one liked. Everyone liked her.
Except Reed.

Plum blinked and stayed quiet for a few moments. It was hard for her to judge this Reed fellow without knowing him, and to decide the out come of a fight she didn't take part in. "Dandi, Reed probably said all that stuff because he was upset. When a cat is upset like 75% of the stuff they say isn't how they truly feel." She looked down at the little kitten. "He probably feels horrible for saying those things." She gazed down at Dandi. She was so cute and adorable. Plum could understand others finding anyone annoying. sometimes cats just don't like other cats. Nothing personal, just utter dislike. "Dandi, I can't answer that question, I mean I barely know what happened." She ran her tail over the kittens paw. 'Maybe you should try to go find Reed and figure it out, without arguing." He smiled. "In the mean time, don't cry. Let's be happy."
OOC: Plum feels like a mom.

Dandi pouted. Of course Plum had a logical explanation. Adults always did. But it did make her feel better. Which was a good thing. She ducked her head down to mull over Plum's words. Well, of course Reed just said them because he was mad. But did Plum really think he didn't truly feel that way. Dandi lifted her head back up. "I hope that's not how he truly feels," she said sadly. "And I hope he feels horrible," she added wickedly, smirking. But she giggled so that Plum would know that she was joking. Kind of.
Her brow wrinkled in confusion. "What do you mean you don't know what happened?" she asked confusedly. "I just told youm" she explained, as patiently as she could. As Plum continued talking she shook her head vehemently from side to side. "Uh uh. If I go a'running after him he's just gonna think I feel bad and sorry and that stuff." Her eyes narrowed. "If he feels so horrible he can come apowogize to moi." Her bottom lip jutted out in a pout but she lifted her head up the extra notch to show that she was not budging on this account.
She smiled a small smile at Plum. "I'm not trying to cry. But I'll try and stop," she said peacefully, not wanting to get in another fight. "So how did you get here, Plum?" she asked, perking up slightly. "You still never told me," she accused teasingly. "I love stories!" She pouted with her big puppy-dog golden eyes. "Pweeese."
OOC: Lol, well she's doing a pretty good job. Teehee it's funny how Dandi's confused. "I just told you what happened." She's thinking Plum is kinda slow-witted *snorts* Lol <3

She looked down and chuckled at Dandi. "Oh dear Dandi. I can't make a choice without hearing your brothers side to the story." She frowned slightly. "If your hoping your brother feels as bad as you do right now, doesn't that make you just as bad as he?" She smiled at the little kitten, and nodded. "I'll tell you my story on one condition Dandi." She grinned, hoping this would help Dandi and Reed. "You'll go talk to Reed soon, and try to get things sorted out. Without fighting." She raised her brow and grinned. "Promise?" If there was one thing Plum disliked, it was fighting. there was always a answer to every fight. You just had to look for it. It wasn't very hard to find the answer, you just had to try. Plum hoped Dandi would try. She's seems to have to much pride. I think that's where Reed was coming from. Plum kept her mouth shut and didn't share her feelings. It wasn't her job to.

Easier to read
Dandi frowned, jutting her bottom lip out into a pout. "So you don't believe me?" she asked in a tiny voice, sniffling for effect. But Plum's next statement made her eyes flash angrily and she lifted her head to stare straight up at the older she-cat. "No! He was mean to me and said no one liked me! I'm not being mean to him I'm saying I hope he feels bad because if he doesn't than that means he lacks emotion. It's a good quality to able to feel regret," she added primly, straightening up and shuffling her paws so they were perfectly aligned. Ha ha.
Her nose wrinkled at Plum's 'condition' and she fought the urge to bark out a laugh. But she saw where the she-cat was coming from and she did miss Reed. "I don't hate him," she muttered, sounding more challenging than was intended. Finally she sighed. "Well I guess I could like see what his problem is and talk. I'm good at talking!" She grinned. There. That was something that the old Dandi would say. She was starting to feel better already. "So tell me your story!" she giggled.
Than the pages of a storybook

Plum looked at her, growing slightly cross. "Dandi, if you don't hate him you'd go talk to him. From your story I can see where both of you are coming from. I can see why Reed was mad and why you got mad. Dandi in my opinion your both equally at fault. There is no bad guy and no good guy here." she offered her a sad smile. "You noth did something wrong by the sounds of it." she grinned. "This will probably sound corny Dandi, but it takes two to fight. One person can't take all the fault. That's a very important lesson to learn Dandi. Very important." She sighed knowing the kitten would probably get upset with her, but Plum was glad she said it. It had to be said anyways. Dandi neeed to know that Reed wasn't the only one at fault here, she had been wrong also.

I'm gonna be your number one Dandi sighed. What Plum said made sense. "I guess I could go talk to him." She pouted for a moment but then her eyes widened. "But I don't where he is! He walked off! He said he was going to..." Her brow furrowed. Trouble was, Dandi wasn't teh best at remembering the details of what others said unless it was interesting and at the moment she hadn't really even been paying attention. Her shoulders slumped. Then an idea struck her. "Ooh! He said he wanted to go to the stupid barn originally before we went to the river. Sheesh, he's so boooooring. He's probably at that poo-stinky place now!" Her eyes lit up and she bounced up energetically. "Let's go!" She paused. "But I'm not necessarily gonna apologize unless he does," she insisted. "I only promised that I would talk to him."
Her eyes narrowed. "He did more wrong than me," she added mutinously. "And yes, that's very corny, regadwess of if it's true or not." She stuck her nose up in the air and wheeled around her heel, starting to trot off and hoping to reach the barn. SHe stopped and sighed and turned back to Plum. "Learning's stupid. Everyone makes such a big deal out of edjamication and really we all know there's something far more important than it." She smirked. Then she remembered. "Hey! You said you'd tell me a story! I'm gonna go see Reed and talk to him so you have to tell me," she said with a giggle. "Stop taking advantage of my short attention tan!" she laughed - not bothering if she said it right or not.

Plum couldn't help but roll her eyes, but trotted along with the little kitten. "Okay, I'll tell you a story about where I came from." She sighed, reliving the past was always hard for her. "I cam from a nice family, my parents were great, and we were owned by a very nice couple. A few days after my siblnigs and I were born a bad flu came around and made my brothers and sisters really sick. In the end only my older sister and I lived. My owner was scared my sister had the flu, so she adopted her out. A little while later, I was adopted out because the couples new baby didn't like cats." She sighed remembering the day she had to leave the only home she had ever known. "When I got to my new home, well I didn't fit in. I felt alone and sad, so I ran away." She sighed, coming to the part of her story that involved Fly, her greatest friend. "On my way here I met another cat named Fly. He was very nice to me and I spent almost a year at his house. Sadly he past away." she looked straight ahead, not glancing at Dandi. "That's when I got here, just a few minutes ago and met you." She grinned, glad to be off of the Fly topic.

Pink pads walked along the old dirt road. 'So this is it? This is what it's come down to?' The bobbed-tailed calico thought to himself tearing his emerald orbs from the old dirt road he looked behind him where he had just came from. He looked until he could no longer see his faded paw prints down the path. His nose twitched and he gave a half-snort-half-chuckle. "Che. Good riddance." He retorted aloud to no one unparticular. Not giving the road another look he turned his head forward again, continuing on his way, not once looking back. From this moment on he was a stray. 'Twix Spitfire the stray, has a nice ring if I don't say so myself.' A small smirk played on his maw. He was free, free from the hell his former life as a house cat had brought him. ‘Freedom…’ The word was foreign but the meaning was clear. ‘Can this really be real? Or is this all a dream? It it’s a dream, heaven, please don’t wake me.’Enjoying the sand between his paws, and the fresh wild wind through his fur he came to sudden halt. ‘What’s that smell?’ His head tilted up slightly as he sniffed the air, then his nose went to the ground and he sniffed, his tongue poked out slightly to better smell the scent. He looked up from the ground his pink tongue poking out slightly still; ‘There are others here.’ He thought pulling his tongue back into his mouth and licked his lips slightly. He wasn’t thrilled about meeting other cats, for most cats he had met before that where strays where very mean, besides Whiskers. He was the nicest tom-cat he’d met. He was in a way Twix’s first admirer. Strong, bold, courageous and very kind. Who wouldn’t look up to a cat like that? Coming up the path he could see two figures a little bit away. They must have been the scents he smelt a little bit ago. ‘Hmm… Two females? How troublesome.’ He thought as he slowly approached. He had nothing against females, sixty percent of his litter was females. He just knew they could be very non-humorous. As he neared he could hear the tail end what they where talking about; “On my way here I met another cat named Fly. He was very nice to me and I spent almost a year at his house. Sadly he past away. That's when I got here, just a few minutes ago and met you.”From what it sounded like the older femme was telling the younger kit her life story. ‘Too bad I missed the first half.’ He thought sarcastically, the idea of hearing someone’s life story was not very amusing to him. He had to admit however; ‘She’s kinda cute.’ “How unfortunate.” He managed to say aloud as he came up to the two females. His eyes switched between them for a moment before he decided he would introduce himself-after all he did not want to seem rude-. “I’m Twilight, but you can call me Twix.” He said with a charming smirk his emerald eyes fell on Plum, staring into her own green orbs that nearly matched his own. “What would your name be, beautiful?” He’s smirk grew wider before his eyes turned to the young kitten beside them. ‘Just my luck.’ He mental sighed before lowing his head slightly so he was level with the young kitten. “And what’s your name, sweetheart?” He had to admit, she was a cutie despite the fact she was young and was practically in the way. Ooc: I hope you don’t mine me joining in here.

Dandi grinned and Plum set about telling her story. It was actually rather sad. "That's too bad," she managed with a little pout. She placed her paw on Plum's softly. "Well, I like you, Plum. I'll be a friend," she said with a grin. True, Plum was much older than her but the she-cat had also been nice to her. Much nicer than Reed, Dandi thought angrily but she had the common sense to keep her mouth shut - a surprising occurance.
“How unfortunate.”
She glanced up in surprise to see a tom coming up to join them. He looked a bit like Plum except with black patches in his fur that Plum did not possess. And of course, a male. Quite handsome, too, Dandi thought with a slight giggle. He was. Especially the black on his fur and how it stood out - and his bright green eyes. She couldn't have cared less about the fact that she was much much younger than him. After all, what's a little crush? And he was very fine to look at, that was for sure.
She sucked in her cheeks slightly as he adressed Plum as 'beautiful'. Of course it made sense though - Plum was actually his age whereas she was a little kitten. But the seed of jealously was already lodged in Dandi, despite all sensible reasoning. She'd never been one for practicality. “And what’s your name, sweetheart?” Dandi's ears perked up. 'Sweetheart' wasn't as good as 'beautiful' but it was a start - better than 'little one' or 'you'. She smiled sweetly at the tom - at Twix. "I'm Dandelion Sunseed," she started, her full name feeling slightly strange to say. "But you can just call me Dandi." She flashed him her award-winning smile before glancing down at her paws as if slightly shy - though that wasn't at all the case. She just didn't want to be caught staring.
OOC: No, that's fine A little infatuation will do Dandi some good though she'll be a pest for him to shake off. Sorry Lol.

Plum smiled at Dandi kindly. "Thank you dear." She looekd up startled by the sonud of another cat. Glacing over she could quickly tell it was a male. She smiled gingerly, hopnig he wasn't a threat or anything. When he asked for there names, she relaxed. If he were going to hurt us, why would he care to learn our names? She smiled polietly, and couldn't help but blush. He was rather striking. He bared intense eyes and a very noticable fur color. She grinned slightly. "My name is Plum Raindrop. It's a pleasure to meet you." She swished her tail, and inched slightly closer to him. What sort of love did Fly mean? She wondered to herself. Let's not jump a head of ourselves now Plum. She looked over at Dandi, and groaned to herself Oh boy, dandi has a crush. It was easy to see. Guess Twix is off limits anyways. She couldn't help but sigh.
OOC: oh no, cat fight between Dandi and Plum. Plums a flirt *smacks Plum* HA!

The young kitten was the first to answer Twilight. He smiled and repeated her name, tasting it on his lips. "Dandelion Sunseed." It was an unusual name to him, for his siblings had been named after the time of day. Twilight, Dawn, Dusk, Midnight and Starlight. Then of course they all carried their last name, Spitfire. Other cats he knew such as his mother, father and Whiskers where named after characteristic they carried physcially. Coal the name of his father got the name because of his coal black fur, and Whiskers got his name from how long his whiskers where. He wondered how Dandi got her name, Dandelion. 'Perphas she was born in a Dandelion feild?' He thought to himself, it seemed logical to him. His elmerald orbs looked back to the kitten known as Dandi and smiled. "It is a lovely name." He told her, he chuckled to himself as he watched her shy facade. She was a cutie, Twilight never thought himself to have a soft spot for kittens but apparently he did. Next it was the elder female's turn to introduce herself, which she did, introducing herself as Plum Raindrop. 'Another unusual name.' He thought but the more he said it to himself the cutier it got. "Plum, very unique, I like it." A sly smirk played on his maw and he gave a catty-grin to the female closer to his age. His emerald orbs scanned over Plum, she was indeed a beautiful female. Her fur was white with orage sploches here and there, with a mix of a fadded tabby marking in the orange sploches. It was quite beautiful. However Twix found himself more attracted to her eyes. One could learn a lot from someone through their eyes. It was like looking into their souls, into their past and into the present. 'I wonder, what my eyes tell about me.' He wondered, fascinated with the idea of being able to read someone like those things humans read, what where they called, books? Shaking his head slightly he tore himself from his own thoughts to start a nice little friendly conversation with these two females. "So from what little I heard, you two are also knew to this area?" He question curiously. He would have liked to run into a cat that knew their way around. 'A cat like Whiskers.' He thought, missing his old friend. Whiskers was truely a great tom-cat. Even better than his father. Whiskers was someone Twix would never forget and would forever keep using the knowledge he learned from the Tom-cat. Ooc: Oh boy, leave it to one of my characters to strirr up a little trouble. lol
