Rose smiled gazing out at the earth, along side Indigo. "You don't need words to describe anything. Just a open mind and eyes to see with." She smiled and turned to Indigo. "My.... an old friend told me that."
She turned her gaze back to the world, fixing it on the horizon. The sun hovered just at the line, where earth and sky meet. It was almost like it was playing peek-a-boo with the world. It's intense light dimmed by the cover of night fall. Rose grinned. Perfect.
She turned back to Indigo once more. "Want to sleep here tonight? So we can watch the sun rise?"

She nodded her agreement. "That sounds lovely." Just liked the landscape around her. She smiled. "Sure. Cats sleeping on a roof. What's the world coming to?" she teased. Indigo rolled her eyes in a friendly manner and settled down. The shingles were slightly rough but it felt good too. Like she was tough. She'd made it up here and here she'd stay. For a little while at least.
She glanced around, thoughts dawning in her mind as the sun set lower and lower. Indigo was contemptuous of the human world and their foolish homes and buildings but being up here made everything seem different. The sunlight and the height cast everything in a new light. It looked softer from up here. It didn't stand out as much - it looked at one with nature around it. The human world was different from this view. Almost...
Beautiful.
But it's all the same thing

Rose smiled. "I know, the humanity!" She giggled as she eased herself down so she was laying beside Indigo. Looking across the yards, at the homes Rose felt peaceful. The darkness had overcome the area and now the only light was the faint glow of street lights and the lights within the homes. It cast a shadow that changed the perspective on everything. It almost seemed creepy, eerie. Rose smiled though. As odd as it seemed the eerie atmosphere seemed rather cozy and safe. It may be because Indigo was right beside her, but Rose felt safe for the first time in ages. It was a feeling no one could take away from her. Not without a fight.

Indigo snorted even though she wasn't exactly sure what Rose meant. But she didn't feel like asking so she laid her head down on her paws, facing outwards. A small smirk chanced its spot as she thought of how funny this would look to humans. The smirk turned into a frown. It wouldn't be funny at all if they were found. Depending on what the humans were like. She got up and trotted gently to the very edge of the roof adn looked down with a slight gulp.
The world swayed and plunged around her but she'd never felt better. She was so high up! It was amazing. She breathed out slowly and took a step back. Another. She lay down again, nestling her head in the soft fur of her front paws, smiling to herself. A soft giggle escaped her at the thought of rolling in her sleep - though it wouldn't be funny at all. Even though it wasn't late, Indigo wanted to drift off into sleep like a little kitten. She smiled softly. " 'Night, Rose," she murmured drowsily. "See ya in the mornin'."
OOC: End thread? You can post as Rose obviously if you want but should we end it afterwards?

OOC: Hmm well we can end this threads and move on to rping with others? Or like do another thread with Rose and Indigo set later down the road - maybe set after the threads that Indigo is currently in (ie. after she meets Ash and finds out Vi's her sister) Or Rose could have a thread with Dandi or Rowan if you want or even someone not played by moi  rofl. |
