Indigo ran swiftly down the road. It was strange, to be headed away from town. Most cats would probably head towards the town. She might have if Jeff was still there. He was the only human she had ever felt attached too. The others had been alright but she wouldn't have gone back to them. No, she was free now. Free of it all. The whole lot. And Indigo couldn't have been happier.
She darted nimbly into the forest where it thickened out, wanting some shelter from the falling snow. Even though her fur was thicker than most, she still got cold. And talk about being covered in snow. Indigo made a face and reached back, trying to lick as much as possible off. She felt bad for leaving the two cats at the road. Brook and Moon. Well, mainly Brook, cause now she was stuck with the kitten.
Indigo laughed softly. But still. She wasn't about to spend her time in the wild babysitting a little kit. That had been her chance to get away and she had taken it. Maybe they'd follow, maybe they wouldn't. But the thing was, Moon was now Brook's responsibility. Brook wasn't the type of cat to leave a kitten alone- from what Indigo had gathered- and she now knew Indigo would as soon as she got the chance.
When she was done grooming herself, Indigo leapt up into the lower branches of a tree. Ah. This was nice. She should have become feral long long ago. Think of what she had been missing all this time! Indigo giggled and rolled onto her back- carefully- to bat at some of the thin twiggy branches. Nah, she could definitely live like this. Yes, it would mean hunting for food and blah blah blah but it wasn't like Indigo was squeamish or anything. She grinned. She was finally free.

Emerald eyes gazed at the beautifully colored she-cat. The he-cat's eyes followed the cat as she bounded down the road. Stellar watched curiously as she looked around her, and he wondered what she was doing. Hunting? No, too loud for that activity. Maybe she was looking for something, something important.
He kept on looking on, and noticed her smile, the first smile he had seen for a very, very long time. 'Specially after being beaten by his previous "adopted parents" (weren't much of parents, he thought). He followed silently, through the bare forest. When he came to a stop, he saw her, in a low bough of a tree. That's when he thought he had a good time to speak.
"Hi, my name is Stellar Snowpaw. If I may, what is your name?" He swallowed, and looked up at her. Her amber eyes seemed to be one of the most beautiful eyes he had ever looked upon. His stomach growled. He heard a rustle, and dropped into a low crouch. Stalking, he reached a mouse, and, being very quick, he hopped upon it, tearing at the small rodents neck. He sat where he was, and ate a bit. Then he looked at the she-cat.
"Want some?" He offered.

Indigo's stopped giggling for a second as she heard anohter voice. Slightly annoyed she hadn't smelled him already - alright, perhaps her wild skills weren't as honed as she'd have liked to believe- she flipped onto her paws nimbly and leapt down from the tree bough. With a tinkly giggle she landed in front of the tom, who had just introduced himself as Stellar Snowpaw. She grinned, it was a pretty cool name. She widened her eyes and smiled sweetly at the tom before responding. "Of course you may," she laughed. "My name is Indigo. Indigo Wintertrap. Just call me Indigo though. I presume I can call you Stellar?" She raised one brow.
Then he had turned and appeared to be crouching and moving forward. Stalking, yes, that was it. Indigo watched puzzedly. What was he doing? Ah, yes, hunting. She blushed then managed to cover it up, thankful his eyes weren't on her. She gave a congradulatory meow as he succeeded in catching the...little rodent. Was it a mouse? She was pretty sure. Then again, it was pretty hard to tell the difference between the little creatures. Indigo shrugged. Ah well. It didn't really make a difference. They were all food now. She grinned.
"Thanks," she mewed as he offered her some. A thrill of delight ran through her body. Her first time eating fresh meat! She winced,. That sounded so savage! But she liked it. Next time, she promised, that she ate fresh meat it would be someting she had killed herself. She slipped closer to the tom, to Stellar, and nipped off a tiny piece of meat from the mouse, gulping it down quickly. Then an idea struck her and her eyes began to sparkle. "Say, Stellar?" she asked casually. "You wouldn't want to tech me how to hunt, would you?" She batted her long lashes. "I mean, hunt better. I just got here and I've never had to so...A bit of help couldn't hurt," she laughed her signature tinkly laugh and batted her lashed again.
((OOC: Yay someone replied xD Only thing is, Stellar's first post should be on the old road when he gets abandoned. You can go post that now though and then have him follow her away or something. *shrugs* It doesn't really matter much. You could even reply to the thread I had there , just a one post enter and exit lol. xDD Also your bio hasn't been accepted I'll let it go since it's just a tiny thing you needed to fix: he can't have been born a stray. I might allow it for future characters but not now when we're starting off now. Sorry xD *hugs*))

Suprised by the short distance between them, Stellar just nodded. He swallowed hard again.
"We could explore first, see what prey there is in each area, Stellar said, "then we could hunt. My father always told me to scout first, then hunt. That was when my Twolegs owned me. I ran away, though. My father told me to. He told my sisters, too... I don't know why, he just did," he kicked a stone with his front paw.
"Why did you become a stray? Did you run away?"
Stellar wasn't saying much, because he had been playing his mental video tapes of him encountering her, and he had just noticed how many times she had giggled and fluttered her eyelashes. He looked away, and thought a while. 'Does this she-cat like me? I don't know if I like her, but she is-, he looked at her, '-very beutiful. If she does like me, she will enjoy my hunting lessons... Then we can become closer friends, maybe even closer than friends.' He looked back at her again.
"Did you see any good hunting places on the way here? I don't think I did... Because we need a good place to go hunting," Stellar said, and smiled.

Indigo listened as he spoke, paying close attention. It was all so cool! she was really in the wild now, learning to hunt and scout. Her eyes widened slightly as the tom spoke of how he had ran away from his humans, sayign his father had urged them to go. she narrowed her eyes slightly past normal as he asked why she had left, feeling the slightest like he was perhaps prying into her personal business. She gave a lofty shrug. "It's not that I ran away, persay, but my human died and no one could watch me. I was thrilled to be in the wild though! It just all seems so exciting, don't you agree?" She raised one brow.
The tom seemed nice enough, polite all. He'd make an alright companion for the time being, just to explore around with a bit and get her bearings. Past that, Indigo wasn't so sure. She rolled her eyes. "Puh-lease. I wouldn't recognize a good hunting spot if it came up from behind me and yanked on my tail!" She giggled at the joke. "Seriously, I'm not sure. I don't think so though cause I just followed the road. Unless that's a good spot...' She trailed off, wondering if he would both to answer her 'question'.
She nodded firmly. "We do need good hunting spots. Cause now that we're feral we need to hunt for our food. Or scavenge." She flashed him a brilliant smile. "I an't wait for the first time I head back in town and get to slink around and steal food.' She let out a mrrow in giggle. "It's gonna be so much fun except I'll probably laugh the whole time and get caught." It was a joke of course, but Indigo could also picture herself laughing ass she tried to make her way inconspicuously down the road. Nice.

Stellar thought about a place to hunt. "We could go to the river. Maybe we can find a whole in the ice to fish a fish out of," he said. 'Worth a try, anyway,' he thought. "Or we can stay here and I can think about something. I don't know what. Maybe where to find a house." He laughed. "We- I mean I- really need to find a house... It's going to snow even harder soon, I can feel it in my toes." He stretched out his toes, and popped his claws in and out.
"But, I think the road would be a good place... We have to be careful of the cars though... And their smoke. That stuff makes me cough just thinking about it." Stellar coughed quickly. 'Ah, my dorky comments... Hopefully she still wants to stay.' "So, river or road? Ice or smoke? Fish or mice? Fish would be nice right now. Mmmmm,' he said, licking his lips. His stomach rumbled. "I guess my stomach wants fish... I don't blame it!" He got to his feet, and shook his fur.

Indigo resisted the strong urge to roll her eyes. Not another at who just wanted to get fish. Was everyone like that around here? She doubted fish could be that amazing. Yes, she loved tuna but come on! They were in the wild now. There needed to be some spice, some variety. Not fish fish fish fish fish. She raised one brow. "Is the fish around here really that amazing? Does it have secret powers no one thought to tell me about?" she questioned sarcastically. She let out a huff of annoyance, letting her tail whisk back and forth in annoyance, before glancing back up at Stellar with a look of apology. "Sorry. Just the group I was with earlier today was just talking about fish to so this is an eerie coincidence." She let out a tinkly giggle.
Something he had said had rubbed her fur the wrong way though. "A house?" she echoed, not really believing it. "What do you mean a house? You're going back to humans?" She let out a disdainful sniff. "Well I'm not. I'm a stray now and that isn't something you can take a break from being when the cold weather comes around." It was true. For Indigo to be a stray it had to be her lifestyle, her spirit, her everything. She couldn't switch back and forth between the streets and a house. She shook her head back and forth vehemently as if trying to get rid of pesky flies. No. That just wouldn't do.
She giggled as Stellar commented about the stench of cars, adding a little cough. "That's cute," she said without realizing it. Ah what the hell, she thought and winked at the tom. Lazily she stretched out her front legs, a wide yawn revealing pearly white teeth. She flashed him a grin. "I'm game for anything. Fish sounds great. Apparently life isn't worth living till you try some!" she joked, nudging him playfully. She giggled, eyes sparkling mischieviously. "Race ya to the river!" she called out, remembering how she had passd it on her way here. With a playful mrrow she wheeled around neatly and raced off.

Stellar started off after Indigo. "Slow and steady wins the race," he said to himself. He trudged along steadily, stopping here and there to groom himself and look at the scenery. This was a magnificant place to live. He steadily went on. "This is going to be hard, unless Indigo is a fast learner... She's so... Hyper," he said softly.
He wondered what she was going to do, so far ahead of him. She wouldn't know how to fish, so she would probally just have to stand there, miserable. "Maybe that will teach her not to be so hyper..." Again, Stellar stopped and smelled the roses.
OOC; Museless... Atleast for this post... XDD
