I wanna live for love, wanna live for you and me Breathe for the first time now I come alive somehow
Loneliness. This is what plagued the green-eyed tom at the moment, and for once in his life he felt very lonely and most of all depressed. Twilight wasn’t one to be very depressed often, however now he felt very sad and alone. In current time the tri-colored tom lied in the tall grass by the banks of a small pond. Twilight was a bit sad he’d never been to Fisher Park before until now, it was a peaceful place, it was much like the falls in the outskirts but a bit noisier. In the background the sound of children laughing and dogs barking could be heard. It was actually a sound Twilight welcomed for the time being. Sometimes peace and quiet was just too lonely.
With a deep sigh the green eyed tom looked into the murky waters of the pond, ducks swam on the surface of the water and fish swam below. The tri-colored tom’s stomach gave a lurching feeling and an odd growl sound. Twilight groaned at the odd and yet painful feeling. He was hungry, it was a good thing he was near a source of both water and food. Licking his lips, Twilight first lapped up some water from the pond, cringing in disgust at the odd bitter taste of the water. He dismissed the taste and continued to quench his thirst until he was satisfied. His stomach was not filled though as it gave another hungry growl. He needed food.
Moving closer to the edge of the pond, Twix leaned over as close as he could without falling in, his green orbs sharply watched the fish swim by and around and around. He watched careful until a fish came close enough and… with a swift motion of his paw; Twilight swat at the water with great speed and force, the pure momentum of the swipe sent the target fish flying out of the water and onto the sore beside him. Pleased with himself, Twilight moved away from the waters and started to eat his fish.
After finishing his fill to eat the tom rolled over lazily in the grass and let the sun’s rays beat down on him gently. Something he rather enjoyed doing, basking in the sun, but then again, what feline didn’t love basking in the sun and taking a short nap while they did it? With a wide yawn the green-eyed tom slowly drifted off into a light sleep.

You tell your boyfriend, If he says he's got beef For the first time in several days, Midnight was full and happy. Warmth, on the other hand, was not taken car eof. Midnight ran through the thick forest, the canvas of leaves covering the sun's rays; keeping them from touching his dark torioshell pelt. He darted through the forest, looking for a way out. Sunlight in front of him promised warmth. Ignoring the rancid smell of humans, Midnight skidded into the open area. Warmth immediately radiated on his back, and Midnight sighed in releif.
Midnight took a look around. 'What a beautiful place..' His eyes scanned th epark in wonder. Ducks floated on the water, and little human kids on the other side played. He hoped they wouldnt see him. His ears twitched in annoyance, imagining their squeels of excitement, and their dirty greasy hands ruffling his fur. Midnight's hazel eyes landed on a calico tom dozing close to the pond. Midnight's ears pricked up. He was pretty board.
Midnight walked up to the cat, and prodded him in the side. "Hey wake-up, i'm bored." Midnight laughed gleefully. Oh how obnoxious he must sound right now. Midnight began prodding the cat harder. 'He shouldnt be in a very deep sleep, what with the noise of the annoying human kids..'
Tell him i'm a vegitarian and i'm not fucking scared of him ooc: Ah this ought to be fun xD Song: Dont trust me - 3OH!3

Whatever lies beyond this morning Is a little later on
Twilight had not been sleeping for long before he felt tiny paws prodding at his slumbering form. With a groggily groan the calico tom peered up at the young tri-colored tom before him. Blinking a few times the calico cleared the sleep from his eyes and sat up. “Mm.” He grunted slightly as he rubbed his eyes with his paw, licking the back of his paw and started to clean his face slightly grooming his fur down before he turned to the other tom. “Where’s your mom kid?” Was the first question that left the tom’s maw, the young kit before him couldn’t have been more than a half a year old. It was a bit strange to see kittens so young on the streets but now that Twilight thought about it, Dandi and Moon had been quite young themselves, no more than kittens.
Backing his ears slightly the calico gave an apologetic smile to the kit. “I’m sorry if I asked too personal of a question you needn’t not explain your situation to me.” He said with a soft smile, Twilight still had a soft spot for kittens, and sadly he might never have any. Not only did he not have a mate but he was a rare kind of cat. A male calico, and more times than often male calicos where sterile because they carried the XXY chromosome. The calico color gene was carried in the recessive allies of the X chromosome, which was the female chromosome, the only way a male could be a calico was if he was like himself, carrying two X chromosomes. But because of this gene mix up, his genes could never be passed on for the extra chromosome made him unable to have kittens, at lest that was the case most of the time, it was very rare for male calicos to impregnated another female.
Taking a deep breath, Twilight’s green orbs glanced back over to the tri-colored male before him. It seemed this male was in a bit of a similar situation, however he wasn’t sure about tortoishell and how their genes worked but he was sure it was in a similar way, both of them being tri-colored felines that was. “I’m Twilight, Twilight Spitfire, what’s your name, kid?” He questioned, figuring this kid wasn’t going to be going anywhere soon since he’d mentioned he was bored and woke him to obviously play. So much for his depression, at lest he wasn’t alone anymore and he didn’t mind kittens.
Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all Nothing's like before

Russian Ruolette is not the same without a gun Where’s your mom kid?”
Midnight would usually get extremely annoyed, puff out and hiss. But Midnight just stood there and rolled his eyes and shrugged. "Dunno, never met her. The earliest memory i have is being on the street, and being caught by the retched pound humans. Got lucky, if i hadnt run, i wouldnt be alive right now" The true source of Midnight's hate for humans. They had brought him into the dark room, the place were no cat ever left. Or dog for that matter.
“I’m sorry if I asked too personal of a question you needn’t not explain your situation to me.”
Midnight shrugged, "Not like i'm sad or anything."
Midnight was curious as to why he wasnt reacting as rashly as usual. Perhaps because he'd rather have a playmate rather than an enemy.
“I’m Twilight, Twilight Spitfire, what’s your name, kid?
'Geez he is worse than Moon Coldbite. Atleast she didnt call him kid' Midnight chuckled. Twqilight and Midnight, ironic. "I'm Midnight Sunchase." Midnight always loved his name. The way it sounded, like the dark midnight sky was trying to chase after the sun night after night, on an eternal hunt for sunlight...
And baby when it's love if it's not rough it isnt fun, fun Song: Pokerface - Lady Gaga

It's personal, myself and I We've got some straightenin' out to do
Twilight couldn’t help but smile at the young male, he for some reason reminded him much of himself. With a slight flick of his ears, Twilight released a soft sigh from his short feline muzzle. “I am sorry to hear that.” He said in a low apologetic voice, it must have been hard, to lose his parents at such a young age. Twilight had always been with his family, until that time then he was brought to the pound and adopted by a curl man. A man who’d beat him and treated him harshly, someone who wasn’t deserving of a pet, companion nor child.
A look of disdain crossed the calico male’s face as his green orbs glared at the space before him. Blinking hard he forced the thoughts and memories away with a jerk of his head to the left then to the right. With a sigh the calico tom smiled down at the young tom. “I had a sister named Midnight.” He told the young male, “She was pure black, like our father.” The green-hued calico told the young kitten for no reason really, he just felt as if to mention anything that came to mind.
He chuckled, he must have sounded silly to Midnight, mentioning pointless and stupid things he probably didn’t even care about. “Forgive me, I’ve been feeling a bit nostalgic lately. So, what brings you to the park, Midnight?” He asked, laying back down in the warm grass where he’d curled up to take a nap earlier before the tri-hued tom came and woke him from his light slumber.
It was funny, really, Twilight had been here complaining how alone he felt, then as if god wouldn’t allow it any longer, he blessed him with some company. Twilight rather liked kittens, he someday wished he had some of his own actually. Someday in the near future maybe, but right now he wasn’t even remotely close to having a mate. He knew actually fairly little, and the only ones who he’d actually found attractive where other males, ones who couldn’t bless him with children. How very unfortunate, he couldn’t help but laugh.
And I'm gonna miss you like a child misses their blanket But I've got to get a move on with my life

Midnight couldnt help but smile back. It wasnt like this cat was being rude. However Midnight also couldnt help but be a bit envious. Twilight has obvioulsy had quite the comfortable life. Midnight's,on the other hand, was the worst. It wasnt like he missed his mom, or siblings (if he even had any). It wasnt like they missed him! Sometimes, however, he wishes he had that type of love. He was never loved in his life. He's heard that being loved is pretty cool.
“I am sorry to hear that.”
Mindight grunted. "Dont worry about. I didnt know them in the first place. So i couldnt miss them even if i wanted to." it was true. His parents obviously abandoned him. He didnt even really want to meet them, even if they were still alive. They left him to be killed in a dirty pound that smelled of fear, despair, and urine. Cold nights shivering on a cement floor, praying that a human would find them cute and cuddely.
"I had a sister named Midnight. She was pure black, like our father.”
' like i care!' Mindight thought biterally. He kept it back though. This tom wasnt trying ot be mean in any way, so what was the point in pissing him off or hurting his feelings? This was weird, especially for Midnight. Usually he would be hissing at Twilight, or being obnoxious, using a sarcastic tone saying "Oh yes i am usually compared to a she-cat"
“Forgive me, I’ve been feeling a bit nostalgic lately. So, what brings you to the park, Midnight?”
'atleast he apologized!' Midnight sighed in releif. Midnight looked up at Twilight. "Oh well i was just getting away from thsi part in the woods where i met the most annoying cat in Nenbrook! She stole my catch and had me jumping trhough trees to get it back. It is quite dark in there, not much sun. I got pretty cold, so i started running and i ended up here." 'So this is a park.' Midnight sneered as his gaze landed on children playing. 'Damned humans'
Twilight began to laugh. Midnight broke his glare from the playing humans, to give Twilight a curious look. "What are you laughing about?" Midnight started to laugh. 'Damn it's contagious!'

Twilight raised an eye brow at the young tom before him as he mentioned about meeting another cat in the woods before he’d come here. ‘A she-cat?’ He wondered, he’d met quite a handful of she-cats while here in Nenbrook. “You didn’t happen to catch her name did you?” He asked the tri-hued tom curiously. He wondered if it was one of the she-cats he knew. Maybe he’d head back that way and pay them a visit if it was. He was after all quite lonely, and visiting old acquaintances and friends where nice.
After his short laughter, the tom started to laugh with him, Twilight couldn’t help but laugh some more, he shook his head when asked why he was laughing. “Just a silly thought.” He murmured to himself, but was it silly really? Silly he wanted to settle down and start a family? Silly that he might not even have the chance?
A soft sigh escaped the calico tom’s lips as he smiled at Midnight. “So, how long have you been in Nenbrook, Midnight?” He asked lying down in the soft grass once more, a soft purr escaped his lips at the coolness of the ground but the warmth that beamed down on him from between the open spaces in the trees above. He had the perfect spot he would say.
While waiting for the young tom’s answer, Twix’s orbs turned to the pond’s waters. They where clear, which was saying something for a human pond. Fish could be seen swimming about without a care in the world. For a moment Twilight wondered how it was to be a fish, without a care. Then with a wrinkle of his nose he figured it probably wasn’t that much fun, quite boring actually.
