OKay so i know that we already of the OTM's.. but those are so unoriginal.. I think we should have a site-wide contest. I got this idea from ISS *high fives Lu*
We should have
a
SCAVANGER HUNT!! yes, hide objects everywhere, each worth a different amount of points. The person who find the object must PM an admin so that admin can take it down. Then, whoever gets the most points in the end will be able to keep those points!
I, personally, think this would be an awsome annual event. It wont stop until all objects are found....
So it is a little different than how ISS had done their quidditch, but same basic idea..
Thoughts?

That sounds like a great idea, Moonz! We actually had something like that once, it was an easter egg hunt, and I think there was one for saint patricks day where there were the green leprechauns everywhere and when you clicked on it it had a link to where the next one was xDDD Good times! But I definately liked it, was lots of fun, and it wasn't that some were worth certain amounts of points o anything like that so this one would be different.
How about this: To keep one person from getting like all of them, there can be twenty (or something) in total and you can only get two a day. So the active ones would have first dibs xD Plus, no one else knows what the items are worth, so they tell us where both are and then we tell them the amount of points they're worth. Sound good? We can have what each item's worth is in a thread in here so staff don't get confused, and if someone PMs you with the two they've found, you can strikeout the item in the thread in here.

OMG it is perfect... Obviously Staff mambers could not participate, becuase we are all going to hide 5 each (since there will be 20) becuase that would be most fair =] And we can all create the graphics and pick the hiding places ourselves. Oh THIS IS GONNA BE FUUUUN =3
=] lets see what everyone else thinks of it, first, though.
Oh and the max amount of points should be about 500...
Oh and in the thread we will need to track everyone's progress ( and amount of points they get )

I'm thinking actually max points should be about two hundred points for the highest item, and second highest would be a hundred so that it adds up rather than coming in big globs, you know? Plus, other people have to earn their points doing jobs around the site and posting, so I'm thinking 500 is too much for a game lol. |

Ack, sorry I totally didn't see this.
Hmm. The way I see it there are a few different ways we could do it.
One: Different items are hidden around the site, each one worth a different amount of points and the first person to find each item gets that many points. Once they're all found, it ends.
OR
Two: Different items are hidden around the site. You get 5 points for each one that you find (and PM the location and url to us of course) and then 100 points for finding them all. Then the second and third to find all could get like 75 and 50 points. These points are on top of 5 per item. Once three people have found all (or after a certain amount of days) it ends.
OR
Three: Different items are hidden around the site. Each one that you click gives you a clue to the location of the next one. First person to find all of them gets 100 points, next gets 75, next gets 50.
*All points used in the different ideas are purely hypothetical, I'm just spitballing random numbers here.
OH. I do want to add though that whatever way we choose I'm not quite sure I'm comfortable with just you guys and me each five. Not that I don't trust you or anything but I reeeeally don't want that many people rushing around modifying stuff on the site and putting this there and that there and editing this and editing that... *hyperventilates* Yeeeeah, no. Sorry, that just seems like an accident waiting to happen. I'd prefer if I or Apo and I hid them.

That makes sense ^_^ The third one may be more fun.. however they all seem awsome =3 Yeah, i would rather participate than hide them, and understand if you wouldnt want us all hiding some ^-^ it was just an idea
However, we will need to be tracking everyone's progress in a thread.. =D There is a ton of ways we could do this.. *confuzzled*
oh and i agreee 500 is probably too much xD

Haha Lu  I like idea #2. So, if you'd prefer to hide them yourself, that is perfectly okay with me! I can understand what you're saying lol. If you need the help I'll pitch in but sounds as if you're hesitant so do what you feel is best 
Unfortunately for me though, I never get up early enough to participate in these things so the weekend comes, I get up at noon, rubbing my eyes, and when I see the computer everything is already over xD Oh well, I can try. I like the sound of 5 points per item if there's gonna be twenty of them, but how about 10 points per item and we only hide 10? That sounds easy for everyone. |

oh we should make sure to let the people know that they cant get 1st and second place (or 3rd and second or etc.) with two of their characters. You can only win once xD LAWL

Okay so then how about:
- 10 items hidden around the site (by me)
- 10 points for each item turned in
- Additional 100 points to first person to turn in all of them
- -(They will get 200 points total)
- Additional 75 points to second person to turn in all of them
- - (They will get 175 points total)
- Additional 50 points to third person to turn in all of them
- -(They will get 150 points total)
- To turn in an item you must PM Indigo's account with the url of the image and the location it was hidden in
