Name: Pistachio "Chi" Brokendaze Gender: Male Date of Birth: August 5, 2008 Height: 21 cm Sexual Preference: Straight Status: Not Spayed
Coat Color: Silver Coat Pattern: Torbie Eye Color: Green Fur Length: Short Appearance Extra: None
History: Pistachio, along with her sisters Pecan and Cinnamon, was born in the green and easy Gentle Slopes in Bellsbourough Hills- a great place to start kithood, as the prey runs heavily all year round. Thankfully, Chi and his kin will not go hungry during their highly important developing stage, and they can instead continue to learn, and, well....be kits.
Violet Brokendaze, then called Violet Wildflower, and Rowan Brokendaze first met on the old road- a place where cats were abandoned by their owners because of many mixed reasons. In the back of Chi's mind, he wants to go explore that place, and maybe find a cat that could be his mate there too, but he knew that it would definately be a while before he was old enough to think of finding someone.
Violet had told Chi many stories about them, and how they met. In some stories popped up the mysterious name of a beautiful tortoiseshell, properly named Dapple. Dapple had been Rowan's previous lover, but when they were seperated, Rowan instead found Violet. It was love at first site, and they became mates. Months later, they still loved each other the same amount, but now had three little kittens that they could call their own. Chi was glad that Rowan had picked Violet over Dapple, because as a pair they seemed complete, rather than two broken pieces leading their lives by themselves. And of course, Pistachio wouldn't have been born without his parents.
Pistachio has heard many stories about when he was born. He, if he really tries to, can only remember the emotions that poured off her parents in waves- The happiness, the love, the caring, because like his siblings he was blind and deaf, unaware of the events that went on in the world. From his mother's stories, he was told about how cute the three of them were (after blushing slightly and calling his mother off, in which she always replied on how it was true) and how excited his father was of them, proud to be a father to such fine kits who will grow up to be strong and powerful cats. During those moments, Chi would always find himself blushing- he wasn't one who took praise easily. Still, it was wonderful to hear the many stories of his parent's life and all of the exciting things out there, he just has to put his mind towards it and work at it.
Personality:
Towards others /of my own kind/- Chi definately isn't much of a talker, but still likes to socialize. He's one to make friends for life, not just because he needs someone to give him a hand before dropping them when they are not of use anymore. Growing up in a family, he's used to family life and is thankful that there is someone that can support him in his times of need. This does not mean that he accepts charity. It doesn't matter if it is what he is starving to the point of death, he will not accept any free pieces of meat in fear of his father losing his pride in his son. Because of that, he is a tiny bit headstrong.
Towards the /ones who bark/- Pistachio does not like canines. Period. To him, they're nasty smelly beasts that have no right to even walk on the earth. Maybe it's the nightmares that he gets of a dog ripping him into little shreds and bite-sized pieces, maybe it's not. Still, he would rather live the rest of his life in a hole with a badger than have to be 'friends' with one, and by the looks of it, this won't change soon.
Towards the /little ones/- Pistachio feels responsibility around kits, maybe a reason why he likes them so much. He feels the need to keep them clean and well-fed, and watches them like a hawk watching prey if he ever takes any with them. The responsibility is definately one of his good traits, but some cats do tell him to lighten up around them and instead worry about yourself instead of the kits.
Towards the ones that /keep me up at night/- Unlike some of his family, Pistachio sometimes admits to himself that he might never find a mate or have his own kits. He's lighthearted and would definately be good for someone. He's not the easiest to get, but not the hardest either. Because his friends group is small, the chance of ever being a mate with anyone has definately diminshed. However, if you ever want to try and win him over, he loves cats who care about him and are completely alright with being fussed over a little bit, as it is his nature.
Towards the ones I /hate the most/- Now this is where Chi's anger comes out- fighting. He is very proud of his quick wits during a battle, and takes every battle seriously. Maybe it's because it's the only place where he can take his angers and pains out, maybe it's because he wants to highly impress his father. Still, he's a worthy opponent for those who dare to challenge him.
Towards the ones I /grew up with/- Pistachio loves his family dearly. He feels blessed to have such a loving mother, a supporting father, and two excited sisters. He looks up to his father highly and wishes one day to be just like him, shaping his nature quite a bit. He tries to achieve everything to the best of his abilities in a secret fear of losing his father's pride. Yes, he and his father are very close, even closer than his mother and him, but he still loves the rest of his family very much, and tries not to quarrel with them often.
Towards the ones that /walk on two feet/- Chi isn't scared of humans, but he's not the fondest with them either. Because he never accepts charity, he's not one who would go up to a human and willingly take the food from their hands, but sometimes it is hard for him to resist. Afterwards, he feels bitter about taking food from someone else and spends a quiet couple minutes repeating in his mind on how he has done a bad thing before continuing with his life.
