History: Unwanted, sold to a pet shop in less than a week after he was weaned. He spent most his days laying in his tiny kennel, watching little puppies and kitties get taken home to some little kid for their birthday or something or another. He was occasionally held and pet but never picked.
But then it was his day. A mother came into the store, searching for the 'perfect cat' for her little son. Wolf didn't know what to think when he was lifted up, crammed in a cardboard box and bounced along, peaking through little circles meant for air. He mewed and meowed, but to no avail, just more bouncing.
The ride came to a stop after a while, resulting in the feeling of no ground beneath your feet before the sudden fwap of the box opening and him being lifted up under his arms and set on a slick surface. he looked around the strange room, the walls were cream, the floor under his perch fuzzy looking. Odd. Soon the woman returned, a red object in hand, before he knew it the little read think was around his neck, a weird shiny little thing in his front. For a while he sat and waited, the lady's arms around his body.
Minutes passed before a chime rang out and feet could be heard, a small little boy running to Wolf, arms open, wrapping around him in a choke hold it seemed, he hissed and was about to claw him before the human released him. Nonsense between the two were exchanged before he was up in the air again, being taken up and then into another room, tossed on to a cushion area, confined in the space and left alone.
Wolf was always in that room. Treated good at first before the boy soon forgot he existed, sometimes remembering to clean the litter box and feed and water him. But other than that, he just stayed at the window, and whenever he heard steps, would run to the door in hopes of escape. Usually it failed.
But one day, the boy got careless, opening the door quite wide, Wolf darting through the space and down the flight of stairs to the open front door, flying through the yard, hearing the shouts of the boy, he didn't care. He sped down the side walk, only slowing when the house was out of view, continuing on and on.
He managed to get food from other pet bowls an sometimes a mouse, but other than that he was weary, discouraged, and thirsty. Eventually the sidewalk became grass, and soon Wolf found himself alone in a human-free, mouse filled land. Heaven.
Personality: Humans. He hates them. The way they walk, talk, act, sleep, eat, you name it, he hates it about them. This mainly has to do with his bitter past with them. Don't get him wrong though, he can be quite the friendly cat to other animals, mind you.
Dogs. He can get along with them but tends to keep his distance just in case. Though, if a nice enough dog comes around he could probably be best buds with the canine.
Cats. He is usually his normal self around cats, not being cold or rude but rather light and funny, usually goofing off or just laying around when not exploring. Not a guy you'd wanna get to do some delicate work if you can't convince him to be serious.
Adventure. Oh yeah, he loves it, if it sounds interesting, not one to get lost easily he is the man for the job. He loves exploring the forest or anywhere exciting, so yeah, he's a bold yet sometimes lazy cat. Sounds about right.
Hunting. Not that great at catching anything that flies, swims, or digs. He still jumps at everything that moves when he's not focused, though. Being only silent but not quick creates problems with hunting, so, show him an animal that is slow and blind, he'll catch it.
Kittens He doesn't mind them kinda, he sorta acts around kittens as he does with dogs, not really enjoying love nips and scratches, and not being able to swat the offender in the face with a paw.
All around he's pretty much a laid back, adventurous, horrible hunting, human hating, dog and kitten weary cat. I guess you'd say that'd be a nice friend to have around, if you don't mind him sometimes stealing your kill or not really listening to you, then yeah, a perfect match!
