Yeppers. Carpe Diem is having yet another issue with activity. Well, you know what they say- the second year is always the hardest (they don't say that).
Before anyone says anything, -ahem cough cough- : ANYONE WHO HAS NOT CHANGED THEIR NAME TO A PROPER ONE WILL BE DELETED IMMEDIATELY. KTHX.
So anyways, this is how this one will be going. It is a little more lenient than the last one, but I'm still putting my foot down. And for all you people who join and then leave, stop it. God, I hate you guys!!
In order to keep from being deleted this time around, you must have posted sometime in the last week and a half. That means anytime after June 8th. Whether it be in character, or even just in the games section, you must do it.
I will send out a PM to all these people with a warning that if they don't respond within five days they will be deleted. All of CD knows how much the members love each other here, but the site will not die because of it. If you plan on becoming active again, by all means rejoin, but you will not get any of your points back. We can un-archive your character's bios and all that, but you'll have to live with the shame.
SHAME.
So. Onto the next note. The thread clean out v.2 will be taking place all week- that means threads will be archived today. Any that have not been posted in sometime in the last week and a half (after June 8th) will be archived.
There are a few exceptions added in though, for threads that seem likely to continue and all that, I will not archive right away.
If you would like to continue the thread despite it becoming inactive, post here and it can be fished out into activity quite easily. Just say the word. You word is my command!
What YOU, the member, can do to help CD through the slight mess? Well, if you are feeling useless, you could always advertise, but we have the first result on google under "stray cat RP" so it isn't quite as urgent as it might be for other sites out there. If we look active, we get new members galore. It rules. Wait though, don't you just hate the word 'galore'? I don't know why I used it. It just seemed to fit.
Back to the the current topic: The best thing you can do at this moment is POST. In character is the most preferable, but games, extras, or in your own board is awesome too. Seriously. Do it.
In short,
- Post sometime after June 8th or you will get a warning.
- If you do not respond to the warning PM after a five-day period, you will be deleted.
- If a thread has not been posted in since after June 8th, it will be archived.
- Want it back? Post here.
- What you can do as a member is post like a madman. Or woman, if you're a feminist and care that I said that
So, with that said, I have A LOT to do. If everyone understands, then please follow up.
