Stellar's Story
Love is a force that can draw two together, even if one is in love and the other isn't. Such was the way it was with Stellar Snowpaw and Indigo Wintertrap. Stellar had come from a farm, where he was born and raised. Then he came to Nenbrook, and saw Indigo, Puma's mother.
At first, Stellar was shy. He made his introductions, and asked Indigo if she had seen any good hunting spots on the way to the spot they were.
"I wouldn't know a good hunting spot if it came up and bit me in the nose!" she exclaimed, so Stellar offered to take her around and hunt. They went fishing afterwards. Stellar began to take a liking to Indigo, and through the time they were together fishing, he had a small crush.
They seperated for a bit, the two, and Indigo went and met another male. Stellar met her there, and was a bit jealous, enough so Indigo could see. He had doubts that the relationship wouldn't go that well... (If only he left her then, maybe it would spare the heart ache.)
The two traveled around here and there, meeting other's frequently. Then they seperated again, Stellar going one way, Indigo the other. Indigo then met Ash.
Stellar saw it. He then went to the dump, confessing to Indigo his true feelings.
"Indigo, you know why I was being so nice to you? You kown why I was hunting for you, even when you didn't need it? You know why I came here (even though I wasn't looking for you)?"
"Indigo, I love you... The reason why I was jealous when you met Sky, and Ash, is because I love you..." The words came out. Then Stellar saw Ash, seeming to burn with wrath. He did something he never thought possible. He gave her up. He gave her to Ash. Then he ran away, cowardly, "up a tree", away from the dump, away from Indigo. Away from the love of his life.
Days, weeks later, they met up again. Stellar made his way to the dump, his thoughts knotting and twisting in his mind. This whole thing with Indigo was really getting to him... Why had he let her go so easily? How could he let her go so easily? And why did she want to see him?
When Dapple came to tell him, he just nodded blankly, to nothing in particular. After she left, he cried a while. This was so hard for the brown tabby tom.
He loved her. And she had said she loved him.
But she obviously loved Ash more. Stellar could do nothing, absolutely nothing to change Indigo's heart. Though Stellar liked to image it differently. Everything he did, he imagined that Indigo was there doing it with him. He imagined that the whole encounter at the dump never happened, but somewhere down the line, he imagined, he had told her that he loved her.
Oddly, though, Stellar was glad that the whole thing at the dump had happened. At least he got two minutes to nuzzle Indigo. At least he got to tell her that he loved her. At least... Atleast he made an enemy, got totally hurt, and on top of it all dumped Indigo. How could he do that?
His heart then broke when he saw, there at the dump... Her. Indigo. Why had she called him? He thought she didn't care. He thought that she loved Ash more. Maybe she still did love Stellar...
No.
She didn't. She would never love him again. He ditched her, in the dump of all places... He shook his head as he went up to her.
"Hey, Indigo... Firestar." He choked the last part out, it burning his tongue intensely.
They cried together. They shared their inner-most feelings towards each other. And then, Stellar did another stupid thing. He let his love for Indigo take control, and he mated.
Stellar had to tell her that she could always come back to him if Ash wasn't in the mind to take her back. He took a breath, and started speaking. "Indigo," he said. "If anything goes wrong between you and Ash when you go back, if Ash tries to do anything to you that he didn't when you first met, that's offensive of course, I'm always here." A tear slid out his cheek and onto his tabby fur. Maybe he had said too much. Maybe he should just turn around and run away. But he shook that thought out of his mind. He couldn't leave Indigo.
"I'll be fine, Stellar, I love him, remember? And he loves me." she said, peircing into him like a knife. Then, cutting deeper, wedging herself in, she went on saying the would "love each other for the rest of forever."
"A much deeper level, eh? I guess when you leave someone then tell them to mate with them makes you a love guru, then. What is wrong with you Indigo? You tell me you love me and then you get like this? I hope Ash has a great time with you. Enjoy your kits!" he exclaimed in reply.
Stellar got up, and walked away, not looking back at Indigo. Stellar didn't want to do this, but this would give him something to remember whenever he started worrying about Indigo. Something to tell him never to go back to her. Something to make him...
How was he doing this? Leaving her? He knew how. She wanted him to leave. She didn't love him. She had used him. She had told him she loved him and then ripped him up into millions of peices and thrown them up into the wind. Now he was scattered, with no one to pick him up and put him together again. He was alone, never to see Indigo again. And now Ash would be happy. Stellar hissed at the thought of that tom.
"'And we'll love each other for the rest of forever,'" Stellar said in a mocking voice. "Make sure you love him, Indigo. Because I won't be here to love if you ever want to come back."
Inside, even though he said that, Stellar was falling apart. He felt like laying down in a heap of garbage and just letting the flies eat him. He kicked a soup can with his brown paw and trudged off.
Indigo
One morning, Indigo was exploring the area around a waterfall, playing in the warm spring waters when she realized that something was terribly wrong: she was going to have the kittens. Terrified and confused, Indigo was forced to go through labor alone with no one to guide her but thankfully all five kittens were born healthily.
She wasn't surprised to find that she felt little or no maternal instincts for the little kittens but she gave them names anyway, feeling that they would hate her enough as they grew older for being such a bad mother without having to also hate her for dubbing them One, Two, Three, Four, and Five. So she would give them proper names - no, more than that, she would give them beautiful, unique, amazing names. The best names ever!
The first to be named was the little orange tabby tom and he was given the name Lion. Next came Puma, an orange tabby she-cat with white patches, and Lynx, a brown tabby she-cat. The brown tabby tom was named Striker and the tiny brown tabby she-cat with snowy white patches was named Kestrel.
Shortly after their naming however, Indigo was startled by the rough voice and scent of a dog. The husky, by the name of Cheif, had found her and her kittens and was quite ready to dig in. Another dog arrived, a savage Doberman named Caesar, and Indigo was scared out of her kits, yowling loudly.
Her cries brought Wolf Sharpstone, a tom who'd she'd met, screamed at, attacked, and then poured her emotions out to a few days ago, running and he promptly attacked the dogs, joined by a calico tom by the name of Twilight Spitfire, whom Indigo had never met. The three adults fought for the kittens safely until Caesar scooped Kestrel up in his jaws and threaten to kill her if they didn't hand over the other four kittens. Indigo pretended to give in before launching herself upwards and knocking Kestrel out of his jaws, to be replaced by herself.
At this point, they were all startled by a plea from Cheif, who told Caesar who let her go because the kittens needed a mother, having seemingly had a change of heart. While Caesar screamed and processed this news, Indigo was able to squirm herself into a position to scratch at her captors and fall out of his jaws, leaping back up to attack him. They managed to drive the dogs off and the kittens were safe.
Personality:
cats
Puma is shy, yet she can be very friendly when she needs to be. She keeps around her mother, not letting her out of her sight, unless she is drawn off by some fun event her brothers or sisters are partaking in. She is confused by the fact that she has a step-dad and a real father, and hopes for the day when she sees him, though she enjoys spending time with Ash. She envies her step-father's silver coat and blue eyes, though sometimes she says that she is perfectly happy with the way she looks and acts. Quite suprising, really.
other animals[/i]
Perhaps when she is older she will grow out of it, but for now, she is afriad of even the smallest mouse. She shrieks, "MOMMEEE!" when a butterfly lands on her tail. She darts behind Lion when a ant crosses her path. She is, personality-wise, in high contrast to her other brothers and sisters. She enjoys watching nature from far away, but when it is close enough for her to be able to touch it with a whicker, she screams and runs away.
other
When in a good mood, Puma is talkative, energetic, and very bouncey, as long as there are no creepy-crawlies around or something to get her dirty. She is a girly-girl who just goes along for the ride. She enjoys taking naps, cuddling (like her father and mother) and hearing and telling stories. She likes learning about the ways of life, her father and mother's history, and what her father is like, however painful it may be to her mother.
She has never seen a human so she knows not what they look like or act like.
in the future
When she is older, she'll be flirty, and a lover of all things good and delicate. She will love kittens, especially ones that look like her. She'll be slightly vain and conceited, but she will care about others. As long as they don't show her any bugs or get mud in her fur.

I can't change the eye colors... If you could, that'd be great.
Your OOC Name: VION
Other Characters On the Site: Stellar Snowpaw, Alcander Blackpaw, and Lilly Brokenwinge.
Other: I hope what I did was okay... With the history and all. I didn't want to have to go through Stellar's AND Indi's, so I made it mostly Stellar since he's my cat. I put in the last part in Indi's history, and if you want me to re-write it it'll take some time.
