History: Desert was born in a forest. She was the younger of 3 littermates. The oldest left the forest before Desert really got to know her. She has even forgotten her name. Deserts parents left her there after she was born with her slightly older brother. Her brother died the day after they were left there. Desert somehow survived. Desert taught herself to hunt for herself and was doing well by herself. Then one day, she ventured to a nearby town to investigate. She had never been there before. While exploring a alley close to where she entered the city, a shadow floated on the wall beside her. She looked at the other wall. There was a shadow there too! She whirled around to confront... 2 vicious, angry dogs ready to tear her to pieces. Desert had never seen dog before, and didn't know if they were friendly. She expected not. Desert turned tail and ran. She had closed her eyes while running and slammed hard into a brick wall. Desert opened her eyes to find herself trapped in a dead end! She was still recovering from the head-slam into the wall when the larger of the two dogs bit hard into her neck. Desert could do nothing. The dog shook her around and made her hit the bricks many times. Desert had now blacked out. After the dog felt her go limp, he let go. Desert fell to the ground and the 2 dogs left. She awoke several minutes later. She was loosing blood and fast. Desert hurried back to the forest, blood splattering everywhere. As soon as Desert reached the forest she collapsed. Another cat found her within minutes and got a vet’s attention and he healed the wound. In a few days time, Desert could travel and hunt again, and she was free again. For a strange reason, Desert longed to go back to the city. This time when she reached the city Desert was suddenly tired. So she found a sunny warm place to nap. Desert was asleep before she knew it. When she awoke, Desert hurried on down the street, avoiding everything that moved. After a while, Desert found a nice alley that didn't smell of dogs. Nothing else lived there but some tasty prey. Desert hunted all of they prey in the alley, for she did not feel like returning to the forest. It was getting late in the day anyway. The next day Desert stayed on the street. That was how Desert came to be on the Old Road. Personality: Desert is a rather fierce creature. She had to grow up on her own and does not mind getting in trouble. She finds it rather hard to love other cats after her parents simply left her. Though she will not do that to her kittens, she sometimes finds it even hard to trust other cats. Desert is strong and quick. If you were to let her hunt for a whole day, she would have enough food to feed 20-50 cats. Desert is mostly solitary she does not enjoy it very much if other cats are present. If she really feels uncertain about a cat, she will spy on that cat until she feels they are...not a threat. She is bold about things and always states her opinion. Desert always has wanted to have kittens. She feels they are something she wants to support, to have brought living things into the world. Humans do not scare her as long as they are not overly aggressive. Desert wishes she could find her long lost sister. She would be the only cat Desert would truly trust. Desert does not like to think of the ragged scar on her neck. It brings back memories she wants to forget. She also hates it when cats try to bring up the subject of her scar and past. They are her main weakness. Desert also likes to duel and battle other cats who think they are worthy. She has never been beaten. Desert has never had training, yet cats who have trained all their life can't beat her. Desert hopes to find a mate someday and have kittens with them. She doesn't know if she'll ever find the right cat though. Desert wants 2 kittens. She hopes they are what she imagines them to be.
