After her owner's death, the only escape is to run. When she finally stops, she meets Ash, who shows her the basics of being a stray.
It should have been a relaxing morning in the warm barn, but trouble brews when Moon encounters two dogs out for blood.
Back on the road feels a little strange, and only seems to get weirder when Moon meets Juniper Stormfeather, a silver tabby always up for Moons antics.
After an over-the-top skateboard joyride involving a piece of chicken, Juniper and Moon find themselves trapped underground in the hollowed-out garbage dump.
Moon and Juni's adventures move to a new level- criminal. After the wagon fiasco at the dump, the two cats find themselves fighting for their lives in a human swimming pool, where they manage to escape and meet the snobby Chocolate Puresky.
A reunion with Moon's two worst enemies turns up nothing but disaster after disaster when Moon is forced to run from three dogs this time around.
Finally Moon finds someone with violet eyes like hers, and the two find themselves very close after only spending a little while together. Watch Moon and Violet continue on to save the life of Rawr Greencloud, a captive stray.
Things get complicated when Moon meets not only Rowan, Violet's "crush" and future mate, but his mysterious friend Raven. What happens when Moon has a slip up and controversy sparks about this "Dapple" cat?
Moon can't be sure, but she seems to feel strange about this other cat. After a little bit of digging, the two later find out that they were siblings before being separated at birth. (was the intention before the thread was canceled.)
Caught up in the current, Moon futiley struggles until she's rescued by Nenbrook's own resident hero, Twilight. Nicknames and lazing around in the sun ensues as the two begin to chat.
A happy reunion with Moon's best friend Juniper and her new buddy sable turns into a horrifying attempt at a birthday party, and Moon's tries to bake a cake only seem to make things worse.
Moon's taunting remarks at the orange vegetables cause her to meet Taro, and they begin to talk as Moon's curiosity about a large tree in the distance grows.
Moon finds an injured German tom at the frozen river. At her attempts to help him she's coldly turned down, but after Moon falls through the ice in yet another near-death experience the two become friends.
