ooc: I'm back with a vengeance! Hope this doesn't sit open for too long o__o CD needs to be advertised real bad xD
Moon's small white head could be spotted just over the top of the fence she was scrambling to climb over. Although the cat had to the farm many times, she couldn't think of ever being here before. The big, orange objects loomed high and low, and she could only gape at what just had to be one of the seven wonders of the world.
What the heck were they?
Timidly, she jumped off the side of the fence, landing neatly in a pile of dry grass. Winter had frozen everything in sight and now that spring was approaching, things were finally starting to thaw a bit. Moon couldn't wait for the new season; food a la rabbit. They were all hiding in their holes for in the cold regions; now, she could finally taste some of the Delicious forest game.
But there was one other problem that still bothered the violet-eyed troublemaker- company. She hadn't seen a lot of her friends in a looong time, so naturally, she was bored. So many of them were settling down with mates, and ever KITS, it amazed her. She would be turned two this May, but right now, boys weren't the trouble at hand.
The giant orange things were.
'You think you're so cool, but you're not!'
Moon sassed the vegetable that was now lying in front of her. There was something appealing about it, but she didn't care. She just wanted to know what it was.
'Oi! Are you even listening to me, stupid?'
She fumed at the innocent pumpkin, which seemed to quail in her presence. She didn't blame it; she was one of the strongest cats to hit the old road almost a year ago! Surviving was her all-time specialty. And this dumb orange thing was staring at her, silent mockery going unpunished. She bristled; never had Mon felt so insulted in her life- even when she was almost being eaten (the second time).
'Well, if you're so quiet, you won't mind if I sit on you then, will you?'
So, the white cat clambered on top of the pumpkin, digging her claws into it for a better grip. Meeting the top, Moon grinned triumphantly, and upon settling in, she found she had a great view of the rest of the pumpkin patch.
'Th... There's more of you?!'

Hi. What's your name? How you doing? I can't complain. Can I buy you a beer?
The dark figure stared intently at the young cat blasting insults and fuming about a dumb pumpkin. She giggled slightly, wand took a step forward, interested with this cat now. She seemed different, but not strange... unique; fun. She raised his tan tipped paws and marched through the leaves and vines swirling around. She hoped up on the largest pumpkin she could find, and grabbed onto it with her deep claws. She squinted her eyes, getting a better look at the feline. It looked like a female, and maybe about 1? She was all white, with very beautiful, yet strange, purple orbs.
Is this your side of town? I don't believe I've seen you around. We should get out of here.
Taro launched off her pumpkin she had been perched on, and was now seemingly flying through the air, dodging every round orange figure. As the fae reached the ivory feline, she dipped her head respectfully, but also had a cheesy smile on her face as she leaned back on her haunches. Hey, what's your name? I don't believe I've seen you around. The femme, reached out her banner and layed it friendlily on the feline's shoulder. While waiting for the femme to reply, it felt like a billion years. Taro had just been through a tough time, but it had seemed like nothing compared to what had happened to Wolf. She thought about that for a long moment, and finally cleared her mind, not wanting to seem odd to this new fae she just met.
I live just around the corner, baby. Yeah, its true. Come on over if you wanna baby, yeah, please do.

And we can pretend it all the time and can't you see that it's just raining there ain't no need to go outside
The rustle of leaves behind her allerted Moon of someone approaching. Excitement rose in her chest; winter was just coming to a close, so she had been expecting to see more cats around anyways. Yet so soon; and in the damnable orange patch as well. Sitting there, mocking her...
Taking in the other cats appearance, Moon concluded from scent that it was a female, and furthermore, it was of a breed she had never met before. The slim figure probably made her faster than the fluffy white one on the pumpkin, but it also made her quite pretty against the frosty leaves lining the ground. She grinned; life was always funner with company. Preparing to greet the stranger, she quickly shot one last glare at the pumpkin beneath her, hissing,
'This isn't over!'
Just in time for the brown she-cat to leaped up to her side, bowing with a smile, to which Moon refrained from laughing at; it was just as mischievous as her own. Moon was suddenly reminded of Juniper and the insane things they had pulled off in their couple of days together.
'Hey, what's your name? I don't believe I've seen you around.'
The other cat spoke, and Moon broke out into a wide grin. Introductions were her favorite part, but moreover, she had never heard of her. Moon had been roaming these woods for close to a year now, and she had made quite an impression. It could only mean that the brown she-cat was either from other parts or a fairly recent stray.
'Winter always keeps me hidden!' She explained to her, winking with a giggle before introducing herself in the very way Ash had when she had first arrived on the old road, 'Moon Coldbite, at your service!'
She took in another breath through her slightly opened mouth, coming to the conclusion the cat was around the same age as her, nearing her second year of life. As most of the cats in these parts, all you could smell on her was the crisp woodsy scent of the forest and the icy bite that was Winter. Yet she also caught something else.
'Hey, you okay?' She suddenly spoke up. The newcomer seemed nervous, even anxious, and as carefree as Moon was, she never failed to notice the subtle mood indicators.
How odd.
ooc: Well, Moon starts out by thinking of Taro exactly as what your charrie didn't want herself to come off as xD If any cat on this site is odd, Moon is. We're all odd here xD Sorry I didn't post a bit more, it's getting a bit late and I still need to make a new thread for Speedy and I.
Ain't no need ain't no need Can't you see, can't you see rain all day and I don't mind.

Sitting in the dark, I can't forget Even now, I realize the time I'll never get Another story of the bitter pills of fate I can't go back again, I can't go back again Her eyes flickered up to the ivory she-cat standing above her, and they cleared as she came back to the world. Uhh... She shook her head to clear her mind, then finished her sentance. Um, no, I'm fine. I just have stuff on my mind... Her mind flicked back to her previous thoughts, and a shiver ran down her spine. She gazed up through the violet orbs of the fae, and decided to state her name as well. Moon... She thought... how pretty. I'm Taro Dewleaf, you probably haven't seen much of me around here, I live closer to the market. She gave half-hearted smile and cocked her head towards the way she lived. But you asked me to love you and I did Traded my emotions for a contract to commit And when I got away I only got so far The other me is dead, I hear his voice inside my head What were you doin to those pumpkins? She brought up the question she was deciding on whether to ask or not. What had she been doing to the poor squash? She tilted her head, and pushed her legs to the floor. With her round golden eyes staring up at Moon, she waited for her answer. Taro didn't even know what she was doing here, didn't even know why she was talking to this cat, but she just went along with the flow of life. And we were never alive and we won't be born again But I'll never survive with dead memories in my heart Dead memories in my heart Dead memories in my heart Taro turned her head away from the cat; she had said that she was fine, yet really she felt horrible. Just the thought of Wolf made her shiver and so she tried to take her mind off of him. She sighed and thought if her friends, and how they had tried so hard to help him. A tear streamed down her face, and she quickly brushed it away with the tip of her paw before Moon noticed. You told me to love you and I did Tied my soul into a knot and got me to submit So when I got away I only kept my scars The other me is gone now I don't know where I belong [I'm sooo sorry I haven't replied!! I haven't been on the computer lately, and when I am, it's only fer like 20 minutes or through my iPod... But this week I've been real busy as well, but soon enough I'll b back to poston regularly :/ I would deffinately have posted longer, but idk wat to say, and I don't wanna keep ya waitin and longer...]

When the days are long, and the thunder with the storm, can always get me crying. You can make my bed, I'll fall into it, shattered but not lonely.
Moon's ears flicked to the side when she heard the term.
"Pumpkin?" She called, eyes wide, "Is that what they're called?"
But then she shook her head, remembering the question.
"Che, they're annoying! Sitting there, looking at me... I dunno. Guess I was sorta venting a little. There's like, nobody, anywhere! Glad someone finally showed up."
She shot the she-cat a happy smile, tail swishing back and forth behind her in a rhythmical motion. But with company, she decided that she was bored of the so-called "pumpkins". Orange- she didn't like the color much. It was too bright and attention-seeking (sweet irony).
"Okay, Taro," Moon started, not missing a beat, "Ya see that huge tree there?"
And the bouncy white cat wasn't kidding. The tree was huge, towering far above them and reaching so far into the sky that Moon was positive that she could touch the clouds if she reached the top.
The crazy grin appeared on her face as the purple eyes narrowed in concentration, watching the leaves drift off from the massive branches that swung back and forth from the force of the spring breeze. She spoke up with resolve and conviction rivaling a revolutionary's,
"I have always wanted to climb it."
Funny how she was able to say such simply, insane things without hesitation. She wasn't called Moon for nothing- known for setting her goals well into the sky. Sometimes even literally- like this particular instance.
"So, since there isn't anything else to do in Nenbrook with the weird disappearance of the world... Come with me?"
She stretched a large warm paw out, internally wincing at the overgrown appendages that caused many of her common trips and falls. Besides, a little excitement could be good for the nervous siamese standing in front of her.
ooc: Haha, sort of used to the inactivity by now -_- Hopefully this place will go back to normal first... And that post was plenty long, btw Lyrics are from My Favorite Book by the Stars.
'Cause I never knew a home, until I found your hands, and when I'm weathered, you come to me. You're my best friend.
