The poor, stupid humans had never known that it was coming. They had continued their childish little war for years. Wiping each other out, one country at a time. Bombs fell constantly, and without any hope for the survival of the planet, the cats walked. Most cats went feral long before the human's demise. The humans would no longer take care of their pets, they just didn't have the time. Finally, the time came when there were only two countries left. The United States and Russia. The cats knew that soon not only would the humans be killed, but they would be too. However, an hour before the bombs were set off, a miracle happened.

A young kitten found a hole that went deep into the ground. Word spread quickly, however, only twenty five cats made it into the hole before the bombs were set off. They stayed in the hole for about two weeks, feeding off the mice until there were no more. Cautiously, they came up from the hole, and were devastated by what they saw. Most of the water sources were filled with dust and debree, most of the grass and trees were burned. But mother nature had a funny way of surviving. Small animals, like mice and other rodents, had somehow survived. The cats made homes for themselves, and eventually the world got back to the way it was before. With one exception, the humans were gone.

Three hundred years later, on this very land, there was a great war between the cats. It lasted for about twenty years, before it finally stopped. Neither side had enough cats left to keep on fighting. Now, the cats of this land are trying to rebuild after the war. All of the male cats were killed, and all the lands and females are up for grabs. They are just waiting for the land to prosper again.
