History:
Early Kittenhood;;
Robin's earliest memory is with his mother, Hawk Nightfeather and siblings. He was born in a rescue-shelter, in a warm comfy bed with his mother. His father, Eagle Quickwhisker used to live in a human house with Hawk. When their owner tragically died, pregnant Hawk and father Eagle were sent to an animal shelter. Shortly afterwards, Eagle was adopted by a caring owner. Hawk had her kittens at the shelter, but she died just after they were born. The kind assistants at the shelter hand-reared Robin and his siblings. He had two sisters, Kestrel and Sparrow, and a brother named Jay. When they were a few months old, the shelter put them up for adoption.
Late Kittenhood;;
Kestrel and Sparrow went to live with their father, and Robin never saw them again after they were mysteriously carried off in metal cages. They were white and tortoiseshell she-cats, and Jay and Robin were both orange. Robin, however had spots and a few stripes, unlike Jay who was a solid. Before very long, a kindly old man offered to adopt Robin, but Jay was left on his own in the shelter. When he first arrived, he was terrified and alone, but after a while he realised he was safe at this home. He missed Jay, and wondered what would happen to him without Robin... Jay had almost been his twin and they went everywhere together. The shock and later, depression was unbearable to Robin so he attempted to flee the house. After a couple of days on the streets, he realized how hard it was to live as a stray and he regretted his discision to run away. He managed to find his way back to the house (with some effort) and was glad to have a comfortable bed, a warm place to stay and all the food he could eat! The man was very considerate and welcoming to Robin, and for a while he was very happy there. Before very long, he met a silver tabby named Buzzard and they became exceedingly close friends. He shared many adventures with Buzzard, including one terrifying expedition into a nearby clump of trees (they called: The Big Woods!) where they found a small fox and ran screaming back to their houses.
Very Late Kittenhood;;
By the time Robin hit 7 months old he was growing into a mature, and much more confident cat. But he still missed his brother of course. One day, the old man who had been caring for him decided that he couldn't provide the care Robin needed, and took him back to the shelter where he adopted him. When he arrived, Robin was shocked to meet a large, scraggly old-looking tom cat. When Robin talked to him, he realised it was Jay! He had grown skinny and scruffy, seen as though he refused to trust the shelter assistance after they took Robin away. Horrifyed by this cat, and worried about what would happen to him if he stayed there that long, Robin panicked and did his best to get adopted again. Eventually, a woman picked him out and decided to take him home. He arrived in a clean, strange smelling flat with nowhere to move about and roam. When he looked out the window, the ground was so far down... He could never have any freedom! In desperation, he ripped up the woman's prized suite. His new owner screamed at him, before driving up a long road and throwing him out.
'Nenbrook...' Robin read the sign carefully.
Personality:
To Begin With;;
Robin Quickwhisker is an understanding cat (most of the time), and he doesn't have much of a temper, although, he isn't as calm or serious as most. This tom is quite a character, with amazing energy and a fun-loving attitude. He can keep calm if he needs to but mostly he is energetic and active. Sometimes, when he gets going he can talk so much that no other cat can get a word in edgeways, but mostly he prefers to listen. Unlike most, he hasn't yet learned how to control the odd 'meow' and sometimes mews randomly in the middle of a conversation. When excited, Robin tends to jump up and down on the spot, or sway quickly from side to side.
Nobody's completely perfect;;
This tom is unusual, yes, but he certainly isn't perfect. He does have weaknesses, of course. Robin is in fact incredibly afraid of water. He has no idea why (and neither do I), but just the sight of a river terrifies him. He will only drink from shallow bowls or puddles - it would be impossible for him to approach a river and drink from it. He also isn't the bravest of cats, and although he is quite strong, he wouldn't stand up to any cat unless it was exceedingly important for him to do so. He hates cats to dislike him, and he worries too much if he annoys somecat. To add to that matter, he strongly despises quarreling and fighting of any sorts, and would never challenge any cat to battle unless it was absolutely necessary.
Well, I'm still good at some things;;
In contrast to his weaknesses, Robin also has stregnths. He has an excellent personality and is great with cheering cats up at times - he can listen and understand well when others need him. He has a lithe and agile build, and loves to run. Although he isn't a small kitten anymore, he is still slightly immature and he tries to be as mature as possible. He treasures his friends and those he loves and would try never to let them down. He doesn't lack the ability to make friends, but does dream of having a mate. If he ever did, he would make sure they were okay with it and would always be as considerate as possible.
Well, you can't deny that I'm different;;
Overall, Robin isn't an average cat, he can talk for his country but he is always ready to listen. He can be quite a scaredy-cat at times, but he is generally a great friend and a cheerful cat to know. He is quite immature for his age at times, but he tries to be as 'grown up' as possible.
