Name: Pearl Starlight Gender: She-Cat Date of Birth: December 26, 2007 Height: 23 cm Sexual Preference: Straight Status: Not Spayed
Coat Color: White Coat Pattern: Gray Splotch [head] Eye Color: Blue Fur Length: Short Appearance Extra: She only has one gray splotch, on the back of her head. It's a very light gray.
History: After a few weeks, Oren finally admitted he loved her, and she loved him back. Then they had four beautiful kittens together:
Pearl; after how her fur shimmered like the fancy lady that always bought pearls from the jewelry cart near the city center.
Hazel; Callisto's most favorite color.
Pax; Because no matter how hard they would scold him, Pax was always at peace.
Summer; the season in which they fell in love and had their children.
As stated before, Oren had no last name, in that city, cats had no 'last names'. So, Oren took Callisto's last name.
"Candy on the beach, there's nothing better. But I like Candy when it's wrapped in a sweater."
The family were wondering along the streets when a great big net pulled them off the side-walk. Animal Patrol. Then they got tossed in some town dump. The family set of to explore this new surrounding.
Seize the Day.

When she was tossed in the town dump, it didn't take long for the kitten to be separated from her family. Naturally, she was worried, and tried to get back to them. For the longest time she looked and tracked the scents of her family, but at the end of the day she could not find them. It happened to rain that night, erasing all of her chances. Forcing herself to be realistic, she knew she had to strike out on her own.
But it wasn't just that easy. After she made her way out of the dump and towards a busy marketplace, dodging large human feet, barking dogs, and other cats that she managed to run into. There was an old, abandoned place with mice scurrying around int he darkness. Remembering the few tactics she learned from her mother in hunting, Pearl managed to feed herself for the night. The abundance and stupidity of the mice helped.
Pearl moved on, although for a while she strayed during the day, and came back to the rotting grain stacks(where the mice stayed) to eat and didn't move on much. She was getting better at hunting. The kitten then managed to find herself in a consignment shop, where a human took her in. The shop smelled a little bit like home, or so Pearl liked to think.
The shopkeeper gave her the pet name of 'Mimi', although Pearl wanted to tell her that it wasn't her name. Mimi had a nice ring though, so it wasn't too bad. She ate dry cat food and prowled through the small shop each day, trying to find a way to get out and about, but not under the shopkeeper's gaze(who's name was Stella, Pearl picked up).
Stella was a nice human; her eyes were green-gray, with a kind expression in them at all times. She was always happy to spend time with Pearl, petting her and the like. It was almost like having a mother again, only it just made the white kitten so guilty. She was so nice, so kind, and food wasn't the best she'd had but it was there. Eventually, large humans with low, gruff voices had to leave the door open to bring in large human items of some kind. After a couple hesitations, Pearl dashed out the door to freedom, and tried her best not to feel guilty for leaving Stella. Hopefully she'd understand.
The kitten managed to find herself among the streets of some market place, and she also found it quite easy to nab dazed mice around the grains, and even earn a treat or two from the gruff humans around. It paid off for all the picking up, squeezing, and screaming of the little two-legged freaks. They always muttered something about the color of her fur, the color of her eyes. What was the big deal?
Pearl plodded on, but one day she caught scent of her family, the dump, and all of a sudden she was on the trail she'd lost. She followed it joyfully, and slept happily that night.
Yet, all too soon, a storm had rolled in while the white kitten slept, and she woke up to wet fur, thunder, and she trekked as far as she could sniff in the rain. When she couldn't see through, hear through, or take a step through the rain, she dove under the nearest bush, where it was drier. The trees around said bush grew tall, despite being so close to a dump, and kept the place near-completely dry. Being a natural covering, of course the awkward dripping came through, but Pearl couldn't be more relieved.
What's more, in the dried underbrush, she caught a faint, sweet scent... it reminded her of home, although she had no idea why. It wasn't very strong, so she was half asleep before she decided for follow it.
Right around a clump of ferns, the scent poured upon her nose, with no wet leaves and ferns to block it out. It was Mom!
Pearl leapt towards her family, reunited and her sleepyness drained from her.
Personality: Pearl wants to be known as a confident, strong cat, and known for being graceful and reliable. She hopes that she's successful. She's always felt slightly responsible over her siblings, being the oldest as well. Pearl has little wish to swim in the water(unless it's warm) but catching fish is great fun for her. She tends to be a bit shy, and when she's upset, she'll remove herself from other cats and sulk for a while. She doesn't really go skulk for little things, but for large things. Like knowing that her hearing would never be as good as her siblings or mother. Pearl's very stubborn, and once she's taken a side, it takes a lot to move her from her opinion. When she's not happy, she takes up a sharp tongue, but when she's pleased, you can instantly tell from her optimism and happier tone, however short-lived it may be. The kitten isn't apathetic; just she isn't an open book a lot of the time. She has a fierce love for her family, and would hate(and fear) letting them down. Likewise, Pearl keeps up the description of a leader. She wants to be in control of a situation; giving as many details as she wants to give. She also doesn't like rebellions, and sometimes is a control freak to get what she wants. She also dislikes having to follow and act on another cat's whim; she didn't mind so much when she was a kitten, but as soon as she was able to do something on her own, she didn't want help. This sometimes pushes away those who try t be close to her, and she is slightly aware of this. Although somewhat shy and withdrawn around strangers, Pearl is playful and more talkative with her siblings and parents; she feels like she can ditch her inhibitions whens he's around them. Under the surface, Pearl worries. SHe not only worries where her next warm bed may be, or where her next meal is, but it doesn't take a lot to set her little mind rolling. An owl hooted-- an omen of bad luck? A bad dream... does that mean that something bad is soon to happen next day? Or when something good happens, just how long does it last? Pearl finds herself thinking pessimistically as her version of 'realistic'. She usually passes off optimism for the most part, unless she's putting on a brave face. Of course, this is all the rough-and-tumble that she never wants any cat to see.
