History:
Everything started when an orange tabby she cat was abandoned on a long, stretching road in a cat-inhabited town named Nenbrook. Indigo Wintertrap arrived in the small town in winter, and soon found some friends to keep her company during the cold seasons. One of the cats she discovered was a brown tabby tom with green eyes, who went by the name of Stellar Snowpaw. The orange she-cat swiftly grew a crush on him, and before very long she believed that Stellar might just like her too. After a while, she decided to go for a trip into the woods, where she found a tom named Ash Firestar. They had a playful conversation, with Indigo refusing to tell the grey spotty tom her name, with a beautiful feeling of mystery inside her. At first Indigo didn't expect she was ever going to see this tom again, but after talking with him for a while she soon came to the conclusion that she would in fact like to keep in contact with him.
After finally telling him her name, they continued to talk. Indigo discovered that Ash had run away from home. She was impressed, and decided to make her up her own daring story in order to seem just as brave as him. Ash wasn't a stupid tom, and he soon saw through her lie and she realized he didn't believe her. He told her how bad it was to lie, and after feeling slightly angry at being told off like a kit, she felt guilty at lying in the first place. She soon found herself upset and angered, why had she lied? Why had she been abandoned to this life as a stray? It was all so fustrating. She wasn't a perfect little kitten, she had just been spoiled by her owner and now she noticed the cat she truely way. Indigo tried her best to enjoy her new sense of freedom, and things did get a little better. But before long the sudden realization hit her, and she began to feel depressed and irratated all the time.
Ash Firestar tried to comfort her as best he could, helping her get through this attack of horrible mixed feelings, but she didn't respond positively to his attempts but simply felt worse. Indigo was really relying on Ash now, but he was still just a stranger, she hadn't known him that long at all when she thought about it. Eventually, she discovered she was in fact falling in love with him already. He begged her to stay with him, but in fear, depression and fury she ran away in a terrible state. Indigo recovered slightly as she thought about the things Ash had said. He had helped her survive all of this, it was likely that he might of saved her life. One day when she was wandering aimlessly in the dump, she found Ash and apologized over and over, feeling incredibly guilty of what she'd done to him. Ash didn't get angry, and just comforted further, which made her guilt increase.
Indigo was distracted from the spotted tom when she noticed a cat she hadn't seen for a while : Stellar Snowpaw. She was stunned when he asked to speak to her privately. At that point, she had no idea of what could be so important, but she soon found out. The tabby tom confessed his feelings for her, he actually loved her. A few moments later, after she had got over the initial shock, she admitted that she loved him too. She had learned her lesson, never lie. Indigo was confident she didn't have any feelings for Ash. He was simply a stranger she had only spent a short time with, she had been to many different places with Stellar to realize she loved him. She knew, she should definately remain loyal to Stellar, but she did yearn for him, all that swift, amazing romance that she always found within him. Ash Firestar left, leaving Stellar and Indigo together. The tabby she cat followed him for a second, and returned to her mate. Stellar realized in an instant that the she cat didn't actually love him, but the grey spotted tom with brilliant blue eyes. He announced that he was going to leave too, he didn't want to stay when he wasn't wanted.
A short while afterwards, she was just roaming around, depressed, when she once again ran into Ash. This time, Ash did get quite angry and snapped at her as soon as she came within earshot. He asked her how her mate was doing, but she soon confessed that they weren't together any more, they had hardly been mates at all. She apologized to him again, over and over. She wasn't angry, she just really needed him. Before long, he sighed and said he wasn't mad either. At that moment, Indigo Wintertrap realized she was actually in love with Ash Firestar. But, she also knew she had hurt him so much, and she didn't want to make it any worse for him than it already was. She decided that she'd only hurt him more if she stayed with him, and attempted to calmly explain that she wanted to leave, to help him more than her. He insisted he didn't care, she should stay, she had to for his sake. Indigo felt so strongly for him, she'd do anything to stop him feeling as much pain as before. She threw herself out of the window of the barn.
Indigo felt sharp fangs in her scruff as Ash rescued her, and fustrated, started shouting about how idiotic she was for trying to commit suicide like that. Indigo ignored him, and leapt again. This time, she fell. This time, Ash just looked down at her, with pain in his eyes. She'd managed to hurt him even more. What had she done? She thought she had died for a few moments, before she saw the grey spotted figure of Ash lying next to her. She had failed to kill herself. The grey tom dashed over to the market and found and old woman, who helped Indigo and took her to the vet. The tabby lived with the woman for a while, relaxing indoors. Ash didn't like to come inside, so he just stayed in the garden and areas around the house. She was glad later on that she'd managed to survive the fall, and inwardly was icredibly shocked that she'd actually tried to kill herself.
Indigo wasn't completely at ease with Ash yet, and she knew it would probably never be like a normal relationship. One day, she slipped out of the house to speak to him. She calmly explained what she'd decided. She was going to escape for a month, spend some time on her own just to get her head back in working order. Ash understood and let her go and do her own thing for a while. During that time, she realized how much she actually missed Stellar, and she really wanted to see them again. She was still slightly stressed, but she found out the real reasons he had left her. He hadn't done it to upset her, and he hadn't just given up. He'd seen she loved Ash, and he decided she'd be happier if he didn't try and stay her mate.
Indigo met up with Stellar again - not long later. They talked for a while, and emotions were high. Eventually, she decided to mate with the tabby tom. Nothing much happened for a while, until the kits were born in a small cave under a waterfall. Then some problems arose as two large dogs caught the scent of the kits, and ran over. One dog, a doberman, was more hostile than the other and soon there was a large fight. Two cats, Twilight Spitfire and Wolf Sharpstone came to assist the orange she-cat, and then the husky made up his mind to defend the kits too. The doberman was furious at his betrayal, and almost killed Indigo. But, she managed to escape from his jaws, and the cats escaped unharmed.
Personality:
Lynx isn't exactly a 'perfect' little feline friend. She does have her bad points as well as her good. She is generally quite understanding, and as she grows up she does develop a trait which somehow makes her seem like she's seen it all, so she can always understand what most cats are feeling. One of her most disliked traits is her temper. She can really cat annoyed and truly angry at a cat if they get on her nerves. The tabby is more like a house cat, she has the ability to do nothing (and still be happy) for endless amounts of time, no boredom included. Lynx isn't really very energetic, and is much happier to just relax and enjoy life. For some obscure reason, she often seems to be busy and it is rare that she can settle down and relax for long. She is very talkative, but is sometimes wary of strangers. She loves spending time with her family and friends and she is usually at his happiest when she is simply relaxing with loved ones.
One of the tabby feline's major faults, is, obviously her temper, but she also has a couple of more bad personality traits. Firstly, she can sometimes be way to serious, she doesn't really laugh very much. Lynx smiles quite a bit, but she doesn't have a great sense of humor and lacks the ability to easily makes other cats laugh. She doesn't really have any phobias, but she hates dirt, muck and any time of mud. This cat's a real clean freak and she grooms very often, some people say too much. She always has to be perfectly clean and freaks out if any of the cats around her have even a slight build up of dirt in their pelt. She fusses over any cat as if they were her kitten.
Although the she-cat despises physical violence, she is always the first one to defend her loved ones. She is very protective, and she'd never betray any of her family or friends even if it meant losing her own life. Lynx isn't afraid to die for the cats she loves, and she'd never forgive herself if she was forced into upsetting someone. When a cat dislikes her, she doesn't matter unless she knew the cat or if he/she was a good friend. Futhermore, she is quite social and loves a good conversation if she can find one. Her main talents actually lay in brains and fighting skills. Although she'd never admit it, she is awful at hunting, plus she isn't very skilled in running, agility or swimming either. She isn't very fast with her heavy build, but she has surprising stamina when she needs it. Her battle tactics are simply, don't fight with tooth and claw unless you have to, a sharp tongue can easily win a fight over a sharp fang.
Lynx Wintertrap couldn't live without her family and friends, and dearly treasures all who are close to her. She'd love to have a mate, but she'd be quite happy with her relatives and companions instead. She is quite mature, and tends to win fights. She is an almost a typical mother, fussing over other cats and tends to take charge. This tabby is definately much more of a leader than a follower, and because she has plenty of common sense other cats, whether they like her or not, usually follow her and agree to her and her ideas. Her voice can be commanded, and it wouldn't be a smart idea to argue with her. Although she can seem too stern, she is actually very kind and considerate, and is always there for any cats who need her, especially the ones she knows well. Surprisingly nice when she's in the mood, and somewhat wary of strangers, but still quite welcoming.
Stress affects her quite a lot, but she can usually overcome most problems. Overall, she can seem somewhat controlling, but she is really very kind hearted and compassionate.
