A light breeze ruffled her gray tabby coat. Her fur was thickening, due the cming winter. It was quite the annoyance, since it wasnt verycold yet. So she was very hot, all the time. But no matter, she knew she would be thankful for it once the snow began to flutter it's way to earth. It's white fluffy flakes taking over the earth, turning it into a winter wonderland.
But for now, the multi-colored leaves took over. Reds, oranges, yellows, browns! The warm colors made her happy and lighthearted. Her purple eyes watched the leaves carefully, waiting for the perfect timing.... Her paws flitted into the air, catching one of the crunchy leaves in her paws. How childish it may seem to another. Eventhough this behavior was defiantly worth it, Tempest stopped her childish game.
Tempest decided to leave willow so she could explore on her own. It was nothing personal, Tempest is just that type of cat. Besides, she wanted to find just where those humans snatched up her mother.
Tempest's nose sniffed through piles of leaves and sticks. That's when the scent of a juicy mouse filled her nostrils. With a sly grin, she turned form her search. her belly grumbled. She hadnt eaten since she was abandoned. She got low, stalking the tiny creature. She followed it's scent down wind, so it would not scent her. She saw it. The big fat brown creature was storing up for winter, like most creatures. Gathering all of her strength into her legs, she jumped.
Her claws landed on the creature. Thankful for Willow's quick teaching of how to hunt. She but the mouse's throat, to end it's life quickly. She then laid down in the comfy leaves and began to eat. the flavor flooded her mouth. She never wanted to think of human food ever again!
She heard some leaves crunch behind her. Instantly she gulped down the mouse and turned around. Although she was freaked inside, she calmy meowed, "Who are you and why are you here. And dont try to hide, you made your presence very clear already" She gulped, getting ready for what might be her very first fight ever.
