Hey!
First off, what do you guys think of the new announcements board? I figure it'll be a blessing in preventing us from having super long news updated at the top of the main page. Now I can just babble on here as much as I want. Sweet, eh? Thought so ;]
But anyways, let's get to business.
- Advertising Moderators - Yep, Carpe Diem is looking for new advertising moderators - about two or three. Originally the deadline for applications was November 30th but seeing as I never really made the announcement, it's getting pushed to December 2nd. Three days, people, come on! The form's in the thread so head over now XD
- VS Pairings - Since there seems to be some confusion over the pairings for the plot, I've made a new thread where we can sort things out instead of leaving a bunch of OOC posts in the main thread. This'll be just like the old Partnering Up For the Fight! thread except then ONCE YOU ARE PAIRED UP PLEASE START YOUR VS THREAD.
- I went through and archived a bunch of threads and will be posting the list soon so you guys know which ones to remove from your sigs / can complain if you want one of them kept around. That will have to wait until I get back to my computer with the document that has the list of deleted threads - so next Wednesday.
- Right now, I'm trying to go through and get everything going, finish off my to-do list and all that. We should have some more board imges up soon (but again, not till Wednesday cause I don't have photoshop on this laptop).
- OTMs should be up sometime next week so if you haven't PMed me your votes PLEASE DO NOW. We only have about three members who've voted so if we don't get enough I'm just going to have to choose again :/
- Lastly, Carpe Diem is approaching it's one-year anniversary from its Grand Opening on January 1st, 2008. Yay! This means we need to wrap up the plot and make room for tons of fun. Look out for new contests, games and other oppurtunities to earn some points and stuff XD

Forgot to add but I'm also instating a new rule concerning absences. You may take leave of absences and will not be deleted as long as you leave a note on the absences. However, notes of absence are only good for two months and then you're accounts risk being deleted. If anyone has any issues with this new rule or thinks the amount of time should be different, let me know.
So for now, anyone who has left an indefinite note of absence has until January 29th to return / update their absence thread with a new post confirming they're still busy but plan on returning. See, I think that's plenty of time.
That being said, if anyone is going on a trip, per say, for more than two months, that is fine. This is concerning ambiguous notes of absence where members say, for example, just that they'll be inactive/absent for an undetermined amount of time.
