History: Plum started out as any other cat would. She was born New Years day, into a loving family, in the middle of a large city. Her parents, Candy Raindrop and Flame Raindrop were blessed with 5 little ones. Sadly, only days later, they began to lose the kittens one by one. They were dying of some sort of flu. Some how Plum and her older sister didn’t catch the flu. The kind couple that owned the four of them, worried that Plum’s sister may actually have the flu, so they dropped the kitten off at the animal shelter. The animal shelter soon adopted out the kitten, knowing she had nothing wrong with her. Plum was bored without her siblings. She was still getting over the death of her 2 older brothers and sister, and the fact her only surviving sister was gone. Her parents told her she needed to be strong, but Plum didn’t feel like being strong. She felt like knowing where her sister was. She felt alone, isolated even if there were a million people around her. Only weeks later, her owners had a baby. Sadly the baby was allergic to cats, so Plum was quickly weaned from her parents and was adopted out. Her parents were adopted out together, and went to a kind elderly couple on the other side of town. Plum was sent to live with a young girl, who had just gotten out of college. She woman was nice enough, but she didn’t love Plum like her parents had. Plum tried her best to be a nice kitten, loving and kind. She couldn’t make herself though. She knew she didn’t belong there. So one day, when the weather was nice and the windows were open, Plum made a break for it. She ran for a long time, until she was well out of the city. She was tired and knew she couldn’t go any farther without rest. For over a year she just hung out with this old cat she met along the way. His name was Fly and he made her feel a lot better about her whole situation. He listened to her ranting about how awful her life was. She had never taken the time to listen to him. If she had she would have heard more about how he was ill and dying. One day, Fly had took a turn for the worst. Plum was certain he would die. She stood beside him, until the very end. Right before his death, he whispered to her, “Plum, you are a good girl. Let the rest of the world see your love.” A few seconds later, Fly was gone. Plum stayed there for only about an hour longer, until she left Fly. She promised Fly she would spread her love. She intended to live up to her promise. So Plum continued her journey, searching desperately for civilization. She needed to find other felines so she could spread her love. She wanted to make everyone’s life better, even if it meant putting them before herself. So she continued on, her promise driving her further and further. A few days later, she stumbled across an old road.
Personality: Plum is a rather opinionated cat. She has a say on everything, and is willing to share her opinions with anyone who wants to hear them. She is very outgoing, and is willing to get into a friendly debate with anyone who really wants to take her on. Plum has lots of goals in her life, but her main one is love. Ever since Fly told her to spread love, it’s been what she wanted to do. She wants to find a mate to live out her days with. She believes in true love and love at first sight. She doesn’t like the idea of a quick relationship. She wants something real, something that held meaning and passion. She was willing to wait to find this perfect match. Plum’s second main want is kittens. Being a mother is her idea of the greatest joy ever. She wants the responsibility of being a mother and raising the little kittens. She thinks she could raise them well, and that they would successful throughout life. Plum loves a good laugh. She has the occasional hilarious joke, but she mainly just likes to listen to them. She likes the positive atmosphere a good joke can make. Jokes seem to lighten any atmosphere, even the tensest occasion. Plum has a good sense of humor, when listening. Most of her jokes just turn into flat puns that everyone just pushes aside. Plum normally just shrugs it off, but sometimes is rather embarrassing. Plum’s most major noticeable personality trait, is the fact that she isn’t mature, or immature. She’s sort of in between. For some reason this is a very noticeable trait. Everyone either says, “Oh she’ll mature soon enough.” Or, “She is probably just really immature.” Plum finds it sort of annoying that people seem to want to dissect her personality. She wishes others could just let her be herself. Not try to find a reason for everything, just let it be. Just let her be, rather. Plum’s worst trait is her trust. She will put trust in anyone, no matter how mean to her they could be. She is very submissive, and will bow down to anyone. Most cats are kind enough to be wary about it, but some abuse it. Some take advantage of the fact that she’ll believe you, no matter what wild stories you tell her. She’ll trust you with her life, no matter how much you betray her. She’ll love you no matter how much you hurt her. Some cats would like this trust, but most feel sorry for her, and it is slightly annoying.
