He was the first to be brought in the world, and also the first one to be with his parents. His father, a three year old black cat named Austin, was awfully surprised to see a kitten and started to play with Tarragon, like a toy, passing him from paw to paw. Tarragon’s mother, Jade (named according to the color of her eyes), could only sit and watch her New born kitten be tossed around, she was in the process of giving birth to another kitten, and didn’t want to harm it. She hissed and snapped at Austin, telling him to stop. But Austin, not really listening to Jade, continues to fool around with Tarragon (what a good father!). Poor Tarragon, who’s only minutes old and can’t hear or see just meows softly. After Jade finished giving birth to Tarragon’s younger sister (which took awhile), she strips off the membrane of the water sac and bites though the umbilical cord, then begins to lick the kitten clean. Instead of resting and letting the kitten suckle, Jade gets up and attacks Austin. Austin, stops playing with Tarragon, and attacks back. He holds no mercy for the pregnant cat, and attack with all of his might. Tarragon, who (like I said earlier) can’t hear or see, senses the presence of another kitten and crawls towards his sister. They cuddle and meow softly, oblivious of what their parents were doing. Jade only bites once, then tries to return to her kittens, but Austin wouldn’t let her go. He jumps on top of Jade and bites her leg. She reacts quickly, swings her front paw, and scratches Austin’s face. She desperately tries to escape Austin’s grip, and franticly scratches him. Austin dose the same, along with some hissing. This goes on for awhile, along with some biting in-between. Until Jade pushes Austin off of her and runs to her kittens. She licks Tarragon and his sister anxiously, to let them know their mother was back. They suckle. Austin, still very angry, sees Jade protecting her kittens, and with a Hiss, leaves. The rest of the kittens were miscarriages, born dead. When Tarragon and his sister were old enough to be separated form their mother, they were. Jade belonged to a store owner and had gotten publicity of her pregnancy. So, as soon as the kittens were put on the market, they were sold. Unfortunately, Tarragon and his sister were separated, and bought by two different families. He had been bought by Newly Weds, who didn’t care about the unpleasant scar his Father had given him. They brought him home and cared for him. Tarragon was spoiled, and received anything and everything a cat dissevered. He became over weight, and a lap cat, only good for snuggling. Life was good for Tarragon, and he enjoyed every minute of it. Until his owners brought home a surprise. Tarragon didn’t know what it was, and he described it as a Miniature Human. Later he figured out it was called a baby, and its name was ‘Katie’. He tried hard not to come in contact with this baby, often. Tarragon thought it made too much noise, and was rather scared of it. Life went on. One day, when ‘Katie’ first figured out how to crawl and walk two or four steps, she fallowed Tarragon. Tarragon, scared out of his wits, runs around the house meowing angrily at her. He jumps on tables, chairs, and windowsills desperately trying to dodge ‘Katie’s grip. His owners watch and giggle, thinking it’s cute. Moments later ‘Katie’ grabs Tarragon’s tail and pulls him off the windowsill. Tarragon hisses uncontrollable, but ‘Katie’ doesn’t release her grip. He bites and scratches her and she lets go. She cries, and her mother comes to her assistance. The mother stares at Tarragon and then turns to the Husband. GET RIDE OF HIM! She yells. The husband nods and goes after Tarragon, while the mother hugs the little girl and mumbles. Tarragon starts the jumping on the tables and chair sequence again. But the husband was a lot quicker than the child and caught up to Tarragon, being over weight, fast. The husband grabs Tarragon on the back of his neck and walks towards the door. Tarragon struggles, but doesn’t go anywhere so he gives up. ‘Katie’s still crying when they left. He throws Tarragon in the car and he Hisses. The husband starts the car and goes full speed down the road; he doesn’t even bother to stop at signs or lights. Tarragon is still trying to figure out what’s going on and just looks around the speeding car. Finally the car stops with a jolt, throwing Tarragon out his seat and onto the dashboard. The husband, red with rage grabs Tarragon and rolls down a window. He squirms and tries to scratch the Man. The husband, no caring, chucks Tarragon out the window and speeds away. Personality: Tarragon is an overall shy and timid cat. He has a strong relationship with his mother, considering she saved his life. He’s considered sort of a spaz, and freaks out over little things. He repeats a lot, and is somewhat annoying. He tries desperately to please everyone, and wants everyone to be happy. Tarragon is a bit random, and enjoys company. He never wants to be alone, for that is his greatest fear. He fears Cats who are older than him, thanks to his father, and dose whatever he is told to do. He dose get annoyed very quickly, and attacks without thinking, even it the cat is three times bigger. He dislikes greatly too be touched and petted, but get pleasure from snuggling. He doesn’t talk to anyone he isn’t familiar with, and doesn’t make friends easily. Tarragon is very Lazy and has almost no instincts, and isn’t very fond of killing to eat. He would rather eat plants and fruits than meat, unless it is killed for him. He hates PDA (who likes it?). Tarragon is very clumsy, a klutz, and was very spoiled. He doesn’t like the life of a stray and longs to be a housecat once again. He hasn’t had any relationships, or contact with cats since he was born. He also knows completely nothing about the outside world. He gets embarrassed easily and only opens up to his mother, who he hasn’t seen in years. Unlike most strays (I think), he enjoys the company of humans, and, like a cat, is very curious of what the Human race is doing. He is a good listener, and listens to every detail. He would make a good friend, but doesn’t have any (yet). He doesn’t understand the Humans. Tarragon is also slow, and it takes him awhile to comprehend things. He is often picked on. He thinks everything it beautiful, and doesn’t discriminate. He isn’t raciest or prejudice. He loves to interact with different species, and likes to slow down and look at his surroundings. Tarragon loves his family very much, and forgives his father for what he did. He isn’t a very active cat and loves to sit around and do nothing all day. He also isn’t smart when it comes to common sense. He is scared of the dark and loud noises. He also fears babies, and how he was thrown out a window by protecting himself. He lives life like a game, not caring about the consequences. Tarragon dose care about people, but doesn’t jump in to help unless it was a ‘die-or-live’ situation. He is a very loving cat.
