Name: Crow Fleetfoot Gender: Male Date of Birth: April 22, 2006 Height: 35cm Sexual Preference: Straight Status: Not neutered
Coat Color: Black Coat Pattern: Solid Eye Color: Yellow Fur Length: Short Appearance Extra: Small scar across left eye but with no vision loss.
History: It’s hard to really get the story of Crow’s real history. Being the liar that he is, he never tells the same story twice. Only he really knows what happened in his past. It’s not something he cares to recount either.
Crow tries to repress memories of when he was younger. He was born first in a litter of six, though he doesn’t remember much about his mother or his littermates. He only remembers vague images of being taken from his mother and siblings by a human when he was a few weeks old. He had loved those humans so much. That family had been so good to him. He had adored them all; the mother and father, the young boy, and the little girl. He had trusted them completely for the first year of his life. That year seemed like a dream of paradise.
One day, not long after Crow’s first birthday, the humans left him. He remembered all of the cardboard boxes and the strange-smelling men who came and took them away. He remembered the sound of the door being locked, the grumble of the van as it started and pulled out of the driveway. He had been watching them from his favorite windowsill. He watched them drive away, never to be seen again. They’d left him with no food or water, not even a good-bye. That was when he began to hate them.
For what seemed like ages, Crow remained trapped in that house. He became emaciated and weak, on the verge of death. It was like a miracle when she came, the real estate woman with her fancy clothes and high heels that tapped horribly on the hardwood floor. Crow had heard the frightful noise and had gone to investigate. He didn’t give her time to even notice he was there. He was too focused on the door, the door to freedom. Crow had bolted through the door and out into the blinding sunlight.
Ever since that day, he’s lived on the streets. It’s hardened his heart and made him resent the humans even more. He hated the way they made a cat feel safe and loved, only to up and leave him one day. No one left you when you were out on your own because you were always alone. You were always looking after yourself instead of depending on someone else to feed you. He preferred it this way. He’d never go back to the life of a housecat… never.
Personality: Crow absolutely loathes humans. He trusted them once and they betrayed him. Bitter hatred lies cold and dark in his heart toward these bipedal fiends. Upon crossing paths with one, he’s most likely to attack first and justify his actions later… if at all. Anyone who knows his true story knows that humans made him what he is today. He’s also incredibly terrified of dogs and loses all sense of sanity around them. He never socialized with them in his younger days and now has no clue how to react around. He loses his normal calm, cool, and collected self and completely loses his composure.
Cold, quiet, sly. These are all words that describe Crow fairly well. Blunt to the point of being rude, Crow is a believer in telling the truth, no matter how much it hurts the cat he’s being truthful with. Not a secret keeper, he enjoys starting fights between other cats simply for the entertainment purposes. A smooth-talking liar, he’s not to be trusted. He greets other felines with a kind of cool acceptance, but don’t expect him to be all happy to see them later on. Bold, daring, and sarcastic. He’s not afraid to get into a scuffle or two, but if he’s outnumbered, he’s likely to flee. He’s a bit of a coward at heart, really.
Despite all of his flaws, though he’d never see any part of his personality as a flaw, Crow has a soft spot for the beautiful things in life. Deep within his hardened heart lays a tiny, gooey little core that absolutely adores the beauty of nature. He’d never admit it to anyone, but a quiet appreciation always comes over him when in an area where few or no humans have trod. It always seems to bring out his inner poet.
In short, Crow’s strengths lie in deception, stealth, and a smooth voice. His downfalls, however, are his arrogance, cowardice, and sadistic nature.
