History: “Silver Moonfall, are you aright?” A concerned cat asked. The mother nudged the tiny kitten that didn’t seem at all interested in the colors like the other two kittens. One of the other kittens turned to look at the odd kitten. “Yeah, Simmy, look at the light on the floor, its so bright” It yewed. Simmy looked around but saw nothing. It was the second day since the three had first opened their eyes and Silver Moonfall was confused. Her mother had described what everything looked like, what to be afraid of, what was good, but Silver Moonfall could see none of it. Silver Moonfall could tell that it wasn’t night even though it was dark like her mother described for there were people coming in the building and out but all Simmy could do was smell and hear them. She could feel the cold cage bottom on her pads, she could feel the warmth coming form her mother, she could her anther cat purring as somne human petted it, hoping to get a home. But she couldn’t see any of it. It tooke four days before the vet came. His cloths smelt of chemicals that assaulted Simmy’s nose. Insticntibvly, she hid but he grabbed her scruff and dragged her out of the cage. “Relax, Slver Moonfall, hes just going to gve you a check up to see if you are healthy.” Her mother purred reassuringly from the corner of the cage. The vet too Simmy to a room that smelt of differn’t nimels, disease, and chimecals. Simmy mewed in protest as the guy carried her in. She didn’t like the smell at all. During the time she was in the room, the vet had poked her with something, sending a sharp pain in her leg yet calming her down. She could feel him messing with her ears and drawing her lips back. Instinctivly, she bit him. A sharp pain spread across her face as his other hand made contact. Stuned, she let go and the vet continued. She could hear him mumbling about something but she couldn’t yet understand. After the checkup, Simmy listened, not understanding, to the vet and the shelter’s staff talk. She heard her mother gasp, and the cat in the next cage say something aong the lines of “thaught so” “What is it mom?” Simmy asked, ears perked up at her mother. But there was no answer. Confused, Simmy poked her mothr with her paw, feeling the warmth of her mothers fur. “blind…my child…blind.” Was the only reply that Simym got. Altough Simmy had denied this from the day she opeaned her eyes, she also knew that she was blind from that day as well. About a week later, Simmy had woken not to the warmth of her mothrs fur but to the coldess of the cage. “Mom?” she called. “Can it Simmy. She gone. She left us all behind for some no good home” Tore Claw, a new cat, called from the cage beneath her. Simmy didn’t argue mainly cause she new that it had to be true, it was the only thing tht made sense. However, it didn't stop her from sulking. For days after that, she was iritable and just sulked. About two months later, Simmy was surprised to here her cage door opean. It wasn't time for lunch. so why would the cage opean now? Curios, Simmy walked close to the door. A pair of hands had reached in and picked her up. Instinctivly, Simmy tensed and meowed angrly rememebring the vet. However, her meows were intrupted by one of the hands running down her back. The contact gave her a vague memory of her mother cleaning her fur and Simmy couldn;t help but purr with delight. About three hour passed, and the human who held her had yet to let go. Beore she knew it, he was put on something warm. Some loud music drummed out almost every sound. The air stank of gas, and the ground begain to move. Silver Moonfall dug her claws into the cars seat while she swayed back and forth with every turn, feeling sick to the stomach. When the car finaly stopped, Simmy was once again picked up. After being in the car, the fresh air was a welcoming gift alone. There was another gust of warm air as the human carried her into the house. Simmy took a sniif and deteted that ther were at least two people inside, including the one who carid her in, a can of tuna laying somewhere at least 10 feet away. Tuna was somehting new to Simmy and out of curiosity, she ran towards the smell as soon as her feet touched the floor. It wasnt long before simmy found herself surroundd by everything a normal cat would die for other then a mate and kittens. However, shortly after her second birthday, she had been resting in the same room as a neighbors baby. A sharp pain shot threw Simmys back as the child yanked the tail. There was a snapping sound soon followed by even more pain. Insticivly, Simmy turned around and swiped the childs face, forgetting who she was atacking. Her claws tore into the soft flesh and the child started crying. A rush of feet told Simmy that she ad done something wrong as a pair of hands eached down and swopped her up. Angry, Simmy sturgleld and scrathed. Altough she faught, she was still forced into a carrier. She could here her master cussing and Simmy cowered when she came to her sences. Simmy was dismayed when she soon found herself back in the carShe could hree her master still swearing, she could practically fell the anger waft off him and it scared her. The car came o a stop and once again, Smmy was lifted up into the air. The carrige dropped and simmy bit her toughe when she fell on the hard concreet. The carrier opeaned and cautiosly, Simmy stepped out. Confused nd slightly delusional from, the fall, she could do nothing but listen to the car fade away as her master left her behind.
Personality: Simmy s a very quiet cat. She hates being disturbed by other and if you even try to wake her from sleep, she just may swipe your face off with her claws. Simmy doesn't act scared of anything although she has two major fears, Heights and being left behind. She isn't scared of being alone but if she is with a group and they leave her behind, she will flip out. Because of that, she may follow a cat that has befriended her around for days rarely letting them out of her eyesight (although she normally does this at a distance) so you may call her a clingy stalker. Although she would never admit it, she is tom crazy and she loves kittens. She is definalty attracted to maincoons and calicos more then other breeds although there is no reason for that. She may be found playing with kittens that do not belong for her if she is left alone. If the other isn’t watching, Simmy just may try to actually take on of the kittens. But only If the mother aren’t watching. Simmy hates it when people call her by her old name, Sarah. There is no reason other then the fact that it connects with her past. Simmy isn’t one for dwelling in the past but rather she would always look to the future. Simmy has a talent for planning everything she does for weeks ahead of the current day although sometimes her plans change due to unaccounted events. Simmy definatly doesn’t believe in love at first site. If someone were to tell her something like “oh our eyes met and instantly sparks flew threw the air” she would probably swipe you ear off. Simmy is a very stern person who doesn’t normally tolerate foolishness and silliness. She likes people being strict and acute. She highly dislike most humans mainly because her old ones abandoned her. However, she is always drawn to the soft carpets, the soft hum as cars drive by the houses, and the smell when its meal time for the humans and the feeling of a gush of air when the humans pick her up and swing her.
