Wolf managed to get a hold on the husky, clawing insanely at his neck fur, removing it in big clumps and occasionally scratching the skin there as he tried to clear the way for a fatal bite to the brute’s neck. Just as he thought that his job was satisfactory and that it was safe to lunge and go for the killing move, he was weakly pulled off. He didn’t just go let the husky pull him off without a fight, though. He raked his claws down the husky’s body as he was flung off, and then, finally not able to keep the canine’s body in reach anymore, he hit the ground. He landed on his four paws and was about to spring again when the other dog, the Doberman, started speaking.
A lot of things were going through the tom’s head. He figured that if they attacked again, they would only lose one kit and the rest could live. He was sure that they could fight off the dogs, even with the emotionally unstable Indigo. He glanced at the calico tom, examined him while listening to the Doberman. They could take on these dogs. And Indigo could, if she would listen to him, stay guard by the kittens in case the dogs got by him and the calico.
What did Indigo think of him? At their last encounter, she had yelled and screamed and he had basically told her to shut up and get out of his life, that she was a walking mess and needed to fix her problems. Then she had attacked him, ramming into him and raking her unsheathed claws down his body. And then just collapsed and broke down, completely lost it. Wolf had basically experienced the feline equivalent of an emotional rollercoaster. And it wasn’t pretty.
So what did she think of him now? After that, he had come here and fought to save her kittens. She probably thought he was being nice, or perhaps that she thought he was insane, like he thought she was. Insane for helping a she-cat and her kittens who had attacked him. But at the same time, she would feel grateful to him for being here. She would have no clue about the real reason why he was here. Because of Stellar, because he was obviously the father of these kittens, and Wolf had some unfinished business with him that this would take care of.
He crouched, tail lashing, preparing to spring at the Doberman to rescue the majority of the kittens when something happened that Wolf could not understand. He saw Indigo jump at the Doberman. Wolf assumed that she meant to attack him, that she had come to the same conclusion as he, and he was about to follow her when he noticed the point which she was aiming at. The orange kitten in the canine’s jaws. What was she doing? His question was answered moments later when the kitten was forced out of the dog’s jaws. Wolf thought that was brilliant, a brilliant idea, when Indigo’s head replaced the kitten’s form.
A suicide mission? What the hell? Why would she do that? Wolf had no comprehension of this desperate act. He did not have any maternal instincts, of course, and could not understand why she would do such a thing for a little kit. There was always a chance that the kitten wouldn’t survive life anyway, and how would the rest of the kittens survive without their mother? What was she thinking? Did she have no sense at all? No reason? Now all of the kittens would die because of her stupidity. How insanely inconvenient for Wolf.
Thinking about their new chances for beating the canines with this new twist, he was caught off guard when the husky abruptly put down two kittens he had been holding at his feet. Wolf hadn’t even noticed that he picked them up. He stared in astonishment at the canine he had so fiercely been trying to kill. Was he really true to his word, then? Was Wolf wrong about him? Did he really want to protect these kittens? Ugh, this was confusing. It seemed that every time he was around Indigo, something weird and insane happened. He had thought that Indigo committing suicide was insane. Actually, this would be the second time that she tried to commit suicide, and this time she would probably succeed. But now dogs were saving kittens? Insane. What had the world come to?

A pair of identical jet black spheres glanced over the scene, cruel, evil and plotting. Caesar's eyes were slits, as he silently watched the scene unravel before him. This was going so well. He was completely overpowering these puny felines, and with Chief by his side this task would be all too easy. He considered his next course of action. Obviously, he could just kill the kits. All of them. But, maybe it'd be worse to keep them alive for a little while? Yet it was incredibly risky. He held the tiny kit in his jaws, spiking his fangs ever so slightly into her skin. Biding his time, he watched all of the cats. The mother, of course, was the first to take action. He heard her mutter two identical words. No... No! He smirked cruelly, and snarled. "Yes, yes." His voice was simple, yet malevolent. The mother was protecting her tiny wittle kits? How sweet!
He listened absent-mindedly to the orange tabby as she spoke again. Something about giving up. Perfect. His face lit up even further, and she padded up to him to take her kit. Excellent. "Sure. Give up on your kits like the puny feline you are!" His voice was vicious, and he smirked throughout. He let out a bark of surprise as a small orange body flew at his jaw. Accidentally, his fangs slipped and the tiny little kitten fell swiftly from his mouth. She'd even managed to free the other kitten! In outrage, he lunged out at her and elevated her off the ground. He sunk his fangs deeper and deeper into her flesh. He loved the taste of blood. But, he wouldn't kill her just yet. Rapidly, he eyes the other cats, wondering what to do next. Caesar was pretty confident that he wouldn't drop the orange tabby she-cat.
His jaw opened in shock as Chief began to speak. "WHAT?" His voice boomed out even above the noise of the falls. "Chief what the heck is going through your tiny little mind! We are dogs, not pathetic, useless felines! Why back down now, when we have a huge task ahead of us?!" Without thinking, he darted out and dealt a heavy blow to the side of Chief's muzzle. It wasn't a very affective blow, but it was really just to shock the husky. "I don't know what's in that big thick skull of yours but it's certainly not a brain! Now come on and help me!" The Doberman looked formidable and spiteful. The wicked canine stared across the scene, wondering how he had managed to talk in between the orange scrap of fur still in his jaws. He considered killing her now, but really it wouldn't be fair (to him of course) to put her out of her misery.
A single lazy chocolate-brown ear swivelled towards the multi-coloured cat as he spoke. Caesar responded with a casual shrug. "Nope. Why'd you ask?" His voice sounded bored, and tired with the annoying little cats. "What gives you the right to take their lives away?" The dog micmicked and mocked the emerald-eyed calicos words with a feigned compassionate grin. "Why on Venus should I let this idiot cat go?" He dug his long fangs further into her orange mass of fur, and shook his head slightly. Just a cat. Nothing interesting, nothing different. Just a cat.
"So, what do you guys think?" He grinned as he spoke again. "Should I kill her now? Or wait for the kittens to go first. Chief, if you have any sense, loyalty or brains you'll help me now. Guard those kittens. Quickly now, put them all in the nest! Let's not kill anyone yet. Let them suffer slightly first."

Indigo squirmed within the dog's disgusting, feeling scared out of her wits. But surprisingly enough, this wasn't the most terrified she had ever been. Back when she would have her little insane breakdowns - maybe not so long ago, really, she'd terrified herself more than anything she'd ever known in her life. Because it was her that was the problem - she'd been afraid of herself. Here she was fighting against something and as scary as it was, at least it was the way things were supposed to be. She let out a screech of pain as the dog's teeth dug into her. Hissing and yowling furiously she tried to squirm herself into a position where she could claw the brute to pieces but it was no use.
Indigo's eyes widened in disbelief and the husky suddenly placed two of her kits back on the ground with their siblings and she felt a wave of relief wash through her, leaving her almost sapped of energy. Her ears pricked up at he began to talk. What? He wants this mutt to let go of me? She frowned, trying to make sense of this latest development. Was the husky a... a nice dog? It didn't seem possible! Not because he was a dog but because he'd just been fighting with them to kill her and her kittens! And, yes, the fact that he was a dog had a little bit to do with her surprise. Indigo's eyes darted to Wolf and the calico tom and saw that she was not the only one who seemed surprised by this lucky twist of fate.
She was equally pleased to see how surprised the dog holding her was as he yelled out at the husky. Indigo squirmed as his jaws moved, trying to slip out but somehow he'd managed to hold on. But in the course of all that yelling her position had shifted slightly. Now it might just be possible for her to maneuver herself slightly and scratch him like he deserved. Even better, i might surprise him enough that's he'd drop her. Or bite down and kill her. Indigo gulped. As the dog continued to talk she continued to squirm but froze as he finished. "No!" she wailed sharply. "Don't touch them, you bastard!" she spat angrily. "Don't you dare touch them!" she shrieked, wriggling fiercely. As the dog had continued to talk her hold had loosened slightly and suddenly she'd slipped out a bit farther.
With a triumphant yowl, Indigo's claws scrabbled furiously against his face. She lashed out again and again, determined to cause this kitten-killer as much pain and torture to him as he had intended to inflict upon her and her kits. The flurry of movement dislodged her and she fell to the ground, hitting it with a thud. I thought cats were supposed to land on their feet, Indigo just had time to think, swerving off away from the paws of the huge beast. Anger fueled her every movement as she cut in a circle and darted back to him, snarling furiously. She launched herself upwards at him, her back packs kicking out at his muzzle before she was able to land at the tip of his head. Yowling she dug her claws ind scratched furiously.
OOC: Hope this is okay, if not lemme know. Lol, Indi's possessed.

A lot was going on and it only hurt Cheif's head even more, especially with his own inner struggles. His chest heaved in and out, breathing really hard, unsure of what he was doing. He didn't realize how hard Ceasar's reprimanding words would hurt him. He felt his body trembled, and the venom from Caesar's words seaped into his blood, his doubt trickling in aswell. "Caesar I-I Don't think what we're doing is right!" His voice cracked but grew stronger as he spoke. He stood up proud over the kits keeping his paws firmly on the ground. "My brain might not be so big, but my heart is and I can't kill these cats!" Cheif ripped a snarl through his bared fangs. Before he could flinch Caesar had racked him across the muzzle. Cheif stepped back a bit and winced. Whining at the sudden pain he listened to Caesar talk again. "Loyalty!?!" Cheif saw red now and his body violently trembled. "Loyalty to murder..." His heart raced in his chest and he tried to control his anger, not for Caesar's sake but for the kittens under him. He huffed and turned to the speaking calico.
The calico tom looked like he gathered enough control of his anger to talk out to the Doberman. He asked insane questions that Cheif guessed Caesar would only get a good laugh out of. Compassion? Cheif shook his head slightly at the word. Surly Caesar had none for any feline. And that thought just made Cheif feel like a freak, out of place. He was a dog for goodness sake, he should have the same virtues as Caesar....as any dog! Somethings wrong with me... He was still filled with uncontrollable rage, but he kept his place. He couldn't stop his lip from quivering as he teeth remained bared. At the corner of his eye he saw the mother tabby struggle a bit everytime Caesar would take the time to utter some crap of a sentence.
Cheif's ears perked up when Caesar started to utter a plan. A greedy plan fit for a blood thirsty mutt. Cheif growled through his teeth at the plot and as the mother cat hurled insults at the brute he spoke up. "I'll guard these kittens but only for their sake! No one elses!! I'll deal with Shiba later, but right now I've made up my mind!" Cheif started to tremble at the thought of his upcoming consequenses. I've made my desicion.....It's already set
The orange tabby finally got her grip and lunged out of the doberman's mouth and hurled her attacks in the doberman's direction. For a split second all three cats found it odd that Cheif would turn sides but this was his fight for his sanity, and he'd chosen the cats now. After hurling her attack Cheif wanted a peice of him too and he lundged his husky body at the doberman. Mouth wide open he bit down on the doberman's leg and jumped away, his tongue loled. After the attack his energy was drained, physically and mentally. When he ventured near the falls earlier that day, he'd never have guessed he'd betray his dog bretherin. His legs wobbled underneath him and he fought to stay conscious. His brain just wanted to shut down for a bit and take a load off, but too much was going on.....too much indeed. OOC: is that ok....He'll end up following Caesar back to the pack anyway....

Wolf watched the unlikely scene unfold silently, his gold eyes betraying him for only an instant when the husky switched sides. He wasn’t even sure anymore why he was here, fretting about the safety of the kittens whose parents… Were not on good terms with him. Was ‘revenge’ really worth this? Having his view of all dogs being shattered by one simple husky? Showing kindness to a cat that he never wanted to see again? He could just blame the whole ‘dog image being shattered’ thing on some mental instability that the husky probably had. After all, he had been blaming a lot of things on ‘mental issues’ that other people had lately, and he could much more easily label a dog ‘mental instable’ than a cat. Because up to this day, all of the dogs he had ever encountered were his enemies. And now this brute comes along, the one he had been trying to kill a minute or so again, and suddenly, he’s fighting on his side.
Not only this, but a memory nagged at him. A memory he’d unconsciously suppressed. The memory involved Indigo at the stream. After all the words had been said, after she had attacked him and she started crying. He had crated a false memory of merely leaving her there to die, his brain making him forget what really happened. That realization of himself, what he was going to become. Because afterwards, it had nearly drove him crazy until he was so exhausted, both mentally and physically, that he had to sleep. And that’s when he had completely lost his memory of his epiphany. Hence, he still hated Indigo. He didn’t pity her; He hated her.
Funny what you do to yourself without really knowing, huh? Wolf could tell you all about that, if only he remembered. Anyway, this whole dog thing was another shock to his system. Everything that he had known about dogs, being completely torn apart. Well, a few seconds afterwards, he re-shaped his image of dogs. All of them were his enemies, all of them except the mental cases. And just because his namesake, the Wolf, was related to the things didn’t mean that he had to like them. They were no kin of his, that was for sure. And he didn’t treat them as such.
And this whole Stellar thing. All he had done was hurt his pride a bit, but he still felt that he needed to do something to win that back. And this seemed to fit the bill pretty nicely. But, hating Indigo and Stellar was just something Wolf made up to satisfy him. Sure, he definitely wanted to do this for his ‘revenge’ but that was really just a little reason. The real reason was that, Wolf would feel completely terrible if these kittens died on his watch, and he did nothing at all to help protect him. Just abandoning them here with no chance whatsoever was just so unethical and their faces would probably haunt him for a while. Yes, Wolf had a conscience.
He watched as Indigo managed to writhe her way out of the Doberman’s jaws, and started a ferocious attack on the brute. He stayed where he was, keeping his eye on the husky, making sure that he was true to his word. When he bit the Doberman, he was satisfied that the mental case of a canine had switched sides. This meant that he could have his turn to attack the dog. Perfect. He really wanted to hurt someone right now. And the dog was the prime candidate. So, analyzing the situation for a second and how best to attack, where to attack etc, he lunged at the Doberman, raking his claws down it’s side. He realized that Indigo had the situation under control when he landed from his attack. She looked like she was going to kill everyone there in her murderous rage. So, he sat down next to the kittens, making sure that they would be safe.

There's too many men, too many people Making too many problemsThe emerald-eyed calico tom watched the two dogs closely. He couldn't believe what his eyes where seeing, nor what his ears where hearing. Where there actually good dogs out there with a sense of good? This dog, the much more fluffier one. He was helping them defende the kittens and not harm them. He couldn't believe it. However, the rage never left his eyes. And they never left the dogs, neither of them. They where still the enemey. What if it was only an act? Trying to win their trust? He couldn't let that happen. He couldn't let their foolishness be the cause of these small kitten's deaths.
His different colored ears flicked back as the two dogs yelled back and forth. Maybe, maybe it was for real. Maybe this dog did have a big heart like he said. He could definately tell he wasn't that smart however. "It is not the size of a person but the size of his heart that matters." Wise words once spoken to Twilight made him understand. He relaxed a little, more or so knowing that this dog was indeed on their side. For now at lest. He would still keep an eye on them both, just in case. Although his heart told him this dog meant no harm to Indigo and the kittens, for now at lest. For now...
Then there was a sudden click in Twilight's brain. A yowl escaped the female tabby's maw and she started to claw at the dobermen's face. The same dobermen he had incountered before with Osprey. The other tabby whom Twilight had guessed to be the father latched out as well as soon as the she-cat was out of harms way. Taking the oppertunity the calico tom leaped at the dobermen. His claws erect, and stretched out to meet with the thin-fured dog's skin. He racked his claws hard against his flesh, and dug deep with his teeth. There was no way he could possibly get all three of them off him unless the other dog helped.
And there's not much love to go around Can't you see this is a land of confusion? Ooc: I'm soooooo sorry of ya'll where waiting on me. x.x; Land of Confusion - Disturbed

The husky's words stunned Indigo and she blinked at the thought that there could really be a good dog out there. But she had little time for revelations and deep thought processes. Twisting around, her paws thudded at the ground. Backing up slightly, she stayed close to the ground, her eyes fixed on the Doberman and not moving even as she stole backwards towards the other cats and the good dog. Surely this horrible bastard could see that he was outnumbered too much for him to gamble on. Of course, this didn't mean Indigo wanted him to run away. She stole a quick glance at the kittens, feeling a flutter of relief that they were safe.
Instantly, her cheeks burned. She wasn't the type to feel "flutters of relief" especially not when concerning the kittens she'd never wanted to have. That she still didn't want to have. She inhaled sharply, reminding herself that there was no need to be embarrassed - that it would probably help if the others thought she was nothing more than a caring mother. Otherwise they'd probably run off in shock. Not that she'd care. Indigo's eyes narrowed. With or without the others, she could take on that stupid brute. She let out a sharp hiss that ripped from her throat and rose into a savage snarl. Her fur fluffed up, she launched herself forward, clearing the meter or so that separated her from the Doberman in a single leap.
With a menacing cry, she threw herself at the large dog, throwing herself at his side and churning furiously with her claws, intent on nothing more than feeling his murderous blood soaking through the fur on her paws. "Diee!" she hissed angrily, her vision clouding red. She fell to the ground and prepared to attack again when something seemed to shatter inside of her. What was she doing? She'd gone crazy... She was a mad-beast. "No," she whispered quietly, shaking her head in horror as she stepped backwards, the other around her having ceased to exist.
"No!" It was a piercing wail this time as she threw her head back and howled the cry. Then she lowered herself, eyes darting with paranoia at those surrounding her. Calm. Relax. Breathe. In. Out. She repeated the chant mentally, trying to stabilize herself quickly. Her sight narrowed on the grass on her paws - the individuals blades glinting in the sun. She raised her head, eyes flashing with anger but devoid of the previous madness that had occupied her. "Go," she hissed angrily at the Doberman. "You don't deserve this. You deserve to die and I wish I could be the one to kill you." But I will not lose myself over you, she added silently, trembling with unspoken fear. She wanted nothing more than to kill this bastard of a dog but she couldn't trust herself. She'd lost control then and she was terrified of it happening again. "Go!" she shrieked, before inhaling heavily. She couldn't lose control again. Her eyes narrowed at the dog and she felt a terrible fury. Regaining her voice, she spoke again quietly, her voice laced with threat.
"But I assure you that next time you won't be so lucky."
OOC: So so so so so so so unbelievably SOOOOOORRY for taking so long to reply, life has been crazy but I'm sorry for holding up the plot. I hope this works with you guys, this way I figure they can sort of explain things over to each other and still defeat the horrible Caesar. -laughs- Of course, that doesn't mean he has to obey Indigo lol but I thought it seemed that ordering him off was a likely course of action for our messed up little friend.

ooc:; O-O I had no idea it was my turn to reply - I'm so so so sorry! I'm busy tonight but I WILL try and get it done soon. I'm completely museless, (especially with Caesar at the moment) so it's hardly gonna be a good post, I'll tell you that. -_-
