Her thick fur bristled with anticipation as she and the other dogs poured forward, barking horribly. This was the moment they had been waiting for. This was where the cats would finally die. Shiba gave a pleased snarl as she threw herself at the fence, paws churning through the dirt. Then it was just a matter of seizing the weak metal in her jaws and pulling at it with the others until it was twisted out of shape and there was a small-ish hole they could slip through. She went first, the metal bristle tugging at her fur and skin painfully. But she didn't yelp, she barely felt the pain. The bloodlust was overcoming her and she threw herself up to her paws, racing up the mound barking loudly. Cats, cats, cats!
But she wasn't just going to throw herself onto the first kitten that she saw. There was some strategy behind this attack and that involved the weaker dogs going for the weaker cats and the stronger dogs going for the stronger cats. That way, they could be positive to eliminate the stupid felines and feast tonight. Yes, they would feast for sure. But for now, her point was to go with the strategy and fight. As one of the strongest - if not the strongest as she liked to think - that demanded that she pick a strong cat as her opponent. Her eyes fixed onto a large calico tom and the large black tom nearby. They looked strong, sure.
They also looked like food.
With a low growl she flung herself in their direction, paws skittering against the garbage as she ran.

Osprey could sense the doom. The death and destruction too, but mostly the doom. He felt like his pelt was vibrating slightly, but he wasn't scared. The muscled black feline could almost feel anticipation. His eyes amber eyes glowed, with a stange feeling he had never really felt before. He was oddly calm in this horrific situation, ready to do whatever he had too. Well, he hadn't really lived to an incredible old age - but if he did die - it wouldn't be such a tragic event. Maybe whatever came next would be better. Flexing his muscles, he leapt backwards as a white cat shot right past him, slashing his claws at the dog. The cat's yellow eyes glittered with fear, but he continued to fight relentlessly. Ozzy blinked deeply, and tried to concentrate. This wasn't just all 'claw bite kill kill.' If it was, the cats, he'd have to admit it, wouldn't stand a chance.
Osprey noticed a small wiry brown she cat attacking a smaller dog, and he realized he'd be better off battling a larger one. Sighing, he twisted around to scan the area for a possible opponent. His amber eyes targeted a thick-furred female dog that seemed to be heading towards him! Yowling, he pounced forward to slice his claws through the air, aiming to cut open her nose. He remembered his battle against the doberman he'd met in the Pumpkin Patch; and he was determined to use this as an advantage. Perhaps he knew more about dealing with dogs than the average cat? Ozzy glanced down at his right forelimb. There was still a gap in his fur, revealing his scar. The fury that pulsed through him gave him a new burst of energy. He sprang at Shiba; trying to land on her shoulders. ooc:; Is Shiba going to survive? Because I don't really want Ozzy to die if you don't mind. :3 Oh and feel free to kill Caesar on that other thread.

((OOC: Yes, yes, of course! All the evil dogs are dying/getting chased away except for Cheif cause he's sticking around as a permanent charrie. XD))
The cat was more vicious than she'd anticipated. She'd have thought they'd all be weak, cowering little things with no backbones and here this one had sprung right at her! Yowling instinctively as claws slashed into her nose, Shiba jumped back, eyes glittering dangerously. "So that's how we want to plaaay, kitty?" she hissed under her breath, chuckling to herself. He must think he was so brave, poor thing. He certainly looked like he had some meat on him though. She licked her lips. "Scared are we?" she taunted, sauntering in closer to the cat - her prey. "If not..." she paused, a vicious grin lighting up her features. "Then you should be!" She gave a cackling bark, cut off as the cat sprang at her shoulder.
She gave a yelp of pain, mentally smacking herself for not having been paying better attention. She wasn't going to make this easy for this cat. He wasn't going to come cloes to beating her. With that thought in mind, she shook her shoulders furiously in an attempt to dislodge the stupid feline. "You might be able to land on my shoulders, cat, but that's all that great a tactic. Want to take a ride, do we? You cats are so pathetic. You actually think you can defeat us!" She laughed at the idea, finding it completely absurb. With a snarl, she gave a vicious shake, hoping to send him flying. Then she'd teach him a lesson or two.

If fear struck the heart of the fluffy black shadow, he'd never be victorious. He knew that. Osprey needed to stay confident, and determined. Or else he would fail. Narrowing his eyes, he almost smiled as the dog leapt back in surprise. "So that's how we want to plaaay, kitty?" His ears picked up the taunt, but the feline persistantly ignored it. He wasn't here to talk. That'd only distract him. This was about physical energy and stregnth - not who could annoy their opponent the most! She began to bark some thing or another, but the cat ingored her, rolling his eyes. He picked up the word scared. It was something he'd never be. Not. In. This. Battle. Ozzy heard the dog's cry as he fired into her shoulder, but she recovered quicker than he had anticipated.
"You might be able to land on my shoulders, cat, but that's all that great a tactic. Want to take a ride, do we? You cats are so pathetic. You actually think you can defeat us!" Again, the dog continued to speak! What was the point?! As Osprey began to think tactics, he was pulled back into 'battle-mode' as the dog attempted to shake him off. The powerful cat sunk his claws as deep as he could get them into her flesh; but he soon realized he wasn't going to be able to hang on much longer. Slipping his claws away from her for a heartbeat, he allowed himself to be thrown off her back, but he managed to rake his claws along her hind leg as he fell. Osprey felt a stab of pain as he landed awkwardly on the rough ground, but he scrambled to his paws. This dog seemed intent on talking to him, so he made a subtle attempt to get her to shut up and get on with it. "Yeahhh, whatever," he mewed casually with a shrug. He was expecting an attack from the powerful canine, so he tense his muscles and slipped into a defensive position. Ozzy was ready to either leap out of the way or even meet the dog head on. Could he twist around to grasp her paw between his fangs?
The black cat smirked. A challenge. ooc edit :; Sorry, wrong account! D:
