[reserved for whoever Neko wants to RP here...]
Kicking up water, she smiled. It was warmer today, and it was finally starting to feel like summer. Shame it was only ending. Maybe autumn would take pity on her and be super-hot.
Moon splashed around leisurely, scaring away large schools of minnows in her wake. It was shallow enough that the water only went up to just below her belly, and she trudged along, glad for the water's cool touch.
'Rawr!
She murmured quietly, watching the tiny silver fish swim off into the distant stream. She took a big wet paw and swiped up a handful of water, shocked that there was actually a little minnow flopping around in her paw. She quickly let her paw slide back in to the water and the fish swam off, seemingly dazed. She continued her rampage on the small group.
'I'm the Kraken!'
Slipping on a rock, she tumbled off and was carried down the stream. Relaxing, she closed her eyes and breathed in the scent of the water and the forest. The birds that were singing suddenly went quiet as she passed them, and she frowned.
Did she smell or something?
Impossible. Birds can't smell anyway, she decided firmly, still completely at ease. Something at the back of her mind had begun to yell at her, though.
Then she noticed the large crashing noise, that was pointedly becoming louder and louder. What is this...? She began to wonder before she spotted the place where the water suddenly stopped. Stopped, as in didn't continue on the face of the earth.
It sort of reminded her of something she read in a book once, at the dump. When the sidewalk ends-
She scrambled up onto a mossy rock, shivering. Being so close to a river, the water cooled the air down, and besides that, the entire area was shaded nicely by the forage around her. Unfortunately though, that left her cold, tired, and trapped.
The current had become to strong from the pull of the water that she had no choice but to wait. For what, she had no clue. But judging from her luck, she didn't stand a chance.
Finally sneaking a peak over the edge, she realized that she was right in front of something Discha recently talked about on the discovery channel.
A waterfall.
Putting her head up, she did what any lost kit would have done in that situation.
'HEEEELLLLPPPP MEEEE, KFC...!!'
Well... Not any kit.

Boredly the male calico was looking for something to do. His body ached after along day. He sighed softly and closed his eyes as he walked which probably wasn't the best of ideas. However he was lucky enough not to run into anything until. "Whoa!" He yelped as the ground suddenly stopped and he found himself in a ragging river. Mewing like a drowned rat the cat flinged himself back onto the bank and shivered. "OK. Not doing that again." He commented to himself with a frown. Shivering he started to groom his wet fur dry.
Upon licking his fur something entered his ears. A voice? His ears perked up as he looked around he didn't see anything but he could hear something. Following the obvious but very faint sound Twilight got a suddenly bad feeling in the pit of his stomach. And it wasn't a bad feeling like you had after eatting something bad, no this was a gut feeling that told him there was trouble.
Walking up far enough the voice became louder it was crying for help. He could hear the ragging waterfall and he immediately put two and two together. 'Oh shit.' He though and started racing to the cries of help. There he spotted a very wet and very small cat, a kitten still. "What are you doing?! You're going to get killed!" He shouted to the small white kitten. Taking a deep breath he groaned. 'Why me...?' He questioned as he looked at the sky before furrowing his brows in a serious manner. 'Here goes nothing!' He exclaimed mentally and leaped into the river and did his best to swim to the kitten on the rock.
Unable to swim properly in the fast running river the calico tom mannaged to grab onto a rock near by the kitten. He pulled himself up on it and started rock hopping toward her. Once on her rock he panted softly tired from working his muscles. "Hold on, I got you." He cooled picking up the kitten by her scruff then hoped to another rock then another until he was safely on the bank with the kitten. Once save he put the kitten down and started to catch his breath. 'That... was close...' He though and licked his lips. "Are you OK?" He asked her looking over her small wet frame she didn't seem like she was hurt.

Are you okay?
She looked up to the tom who had come out to rescue her with a, surprisingly enough, fierce expression on her face.
'Well, I'm okay, obviously. But yanno what? It's all those stupid minnows fault! They distracted me! I shouldn't have let that one go, he probably ran off and told his buddies and then they ambushed me. Oh, and the birds weren't much of a help, either.'
She turned towards the trees.
'Thanks a lot, guys!'
She mewed sarcastically. Once again the singing went silent, and she pouted. Stupid birds. She turned back to the calico, looking him over with curious purple eyes. No doubt she must look like she had hit her head with the way she was talking, but that was just the type of cat Moon was. She couldn't help herself.
'Anyways, thank you for helping me... But I'm sure I could have handled it myself. It was only one little waterfall anyways, I mean what could it do to someone like me? I've survived near-suffocation and a close call to being trapped underground, and drowning didn't bring me down for too long, really. Oh, and nearly being taken away by animal control-' She paused, as if thinking, twice didn't stop me from hitch-hiking a ride on the back of a six-wheeler, either. Of course, this is all sandwiched between twin dog attacks, both of which I escaped from relatively unharmed. Without help.
Wow, didn't realize Death was giving 110% to take me down, she realized with a pang. Whether it was fear or her competitive nature coming into sight, she couldn't help adding a mental note of, bring it on!
She slashed him a wry smile, just now seeing that she had been doing all the talking. Why had he even shown up here, anyways? And, she thought too late, I'm the damsel-in-distress far too often. It's just not right.
'Jeez, look at that thing! It would've swallowed me whole. Of course I would have escaped and given it a good old fashion pounding, but still.'
I doubt I would take a fall like that without at least adding another scar too my all ready too-big collection. She had been looking at the waterfall- boy, did it go down fa-a-ar. She stretched the word into 3 syllables.
Scratching what had to be a flea off of one ear, she turned back to the calico tom and gave him what ought to be called after such a long time her signature cocky grin before, finally, asking him a personal question.
'So what's your name, big guy?'

Green eyes stared into purple voids as the small white kitten jabbed on. He was both shocked and surprised by her fearless facde. 'At lest she's ok...' He thought to himself as she continued to jabber on. She spoke of minnows--whatever those where--and how it was their fault for her falling into the river. 'I think she was just too careless.' His face softened a little and he continued help but chuckle softly to himself.
He couldn't help but think that she was such a cutie. She, somehow reminded him of someone. 'Dandi.' The name came to him quickly, yes, they where similiar. Maybe it was the way they both talked on and on about nonsense. Or how they went into long discriptions about simple things. Or how their cute kitty-like attitude made him smile. His chest was warm, peaceful, swelled with happiness. He had such a soft spot for kittens, one of his very great weaknesses.
She then thanked him for his help and he smiled and nodded. "It was my pleasure. I couldn't stand back and let you go over the falls like that." He said with a soft kind smile down at the small white kitten. However his soft expression faded when she started on with how her life was challenged dozens of times before this. He was, to say the lest, highly in shock. Wide emerald eyes stared down at the small kitty like she were a mutain or alien or something. 'How could she survive all that unharmed?' He wondered backing his ears a little. 'She must have someone watching over her, she's very lucky.' He thought before shaking his head and smiled down at her.
"So what's your name, big guy?"
The question reached his ears and he smiled down at the white kitten. "Twilight, Twilight Spitfire. And what's your name sweetheart?" He asked in a soft voice. Oh yes, it was easy to tell he had taken a liking to this kitty.

Sweetheart. She liked the sound of that. Lifting her head up, she purred.
'What's this? Someone in this big world doesn't know my name? Well, since you saved my life, I guess I owe you that one! She laughed.
'I'm Moon Coldbite.
The white cat smiled, shaking herself. Looking around for a place to sit down, she spotted a sunny patch in a mossy area of a nearby clearing, and quickly trotted over to lie down, he tail resting on her nose. She opened one eye, peeking out to see what Twilight was doing.
'Twilly, you have such pretty green eyes.'
She suddenly said, sitting back up. She really did need to get some sleep, but the rough life she had proved she had no clue when her next chance to get some would be, or even if she'd be alive to make the choice or not. Moon brung her tongue over her shoulder. The water had been refreshing, but she didn't want to catch anything, she she proceeded to clean herself off for the most part. She couldn't remember the last time she had had time to do that either.
She could finally relax. She was almost a year and four months now... It was her second time seeing the autumn season, but it didn't feel that different, or even look it. She had been grinning, but now it was replaced by one of nostalgia, a sad smile as she reminisced on her old life as a house cat. Did she miss it?
No. She didn't miss it. Sure, she missed her old friends, her family, but she wouldn't give up her free lifestyle now to go back to the old. and it looks like she had just met someone new.
'Come on, get over here, or a bird will make a nest on your head!'
She called out out him, her violet eyes sparkling mischievously. Looking around, she realized that all the butterflies were gone, as was her favorite pass-time of chasing them. She sighed, closing her eyes, but realized she really didn't need to be upset. New eras called for new adventures! But nevertheless, she was growing up, and her crazy stunts were beginning to feel like distant memories. She still had a few things she felt she needed to get closure on, one being taking her revenge on those stupid dogs that had attacked her twice, and even going to see Chocolate, the brown kitten from the human mansion she had visited. But it's not as though she was an old lady yet. Her kitten hood was just beginning to come to a close, that was all.
Laying down on her back, she placed a paw over her eyes to blot out the bright sun, but it had already warmed up her white fur so she was glowing in the clearing. She was wondering about something, so she decided to ask.
'Hey Twilight, what were you doing here in the first place?'
Now you're outside me You see all the b e a u t y Repent all your s i n

I'm here alone, didn't wanna leave My heart won't move, it's incomplete“I’m Moon Coldbite.” The calico tom smiled at the small white kitten with vivid purple eyes. “Well Moon it’s nice to meet you.” He said, although it was under odd circumstances she seemed like a sweet kitten. She was definitely optimistic, that was for sure. Raising an eye brow he watched her go off to find a place to lay in a patch of grassy moss by a clearing. He blinked once then twice, and she peeked at him.
“Twilly, you have such pretty green eyes.”
Twilight blinked again and chuckled. “Thanks.” He thanked her, he had been told that before but never in such a blunt way. ‘Twilly.’ He had also never been called that before either. Standing up on all fours the bobbed tailed calico walked over to the kitten. She seemed so relaxed sitting there in her small patch of moss in the clearing. She was probably tired, he knew he was. She seemed to have had a hard life here on the streets as well. He wondered if she liked being a stray, some cats did and some others didn’t.
At her next words he laughed. “Only if I was really still.” He said walking over to her more settling himself down beside her. He groomed his fur. She seemed like nice company, a bit of a jitter box but also quite too. It was rare for a kitten to stay quite for long. However he could tell she wasn’t just a kitten she was already reaching her age of maturity into adult hood. He watched her for a moment and smiled. He liked the company of others, even if it was quite. Some hated the quite between others but he didn’t. Sometimes other would feel it too awkward but he enjoyed the silence, just enjoying the company and pure presences of someone other than his shadow.
With a lazy yawn the calico lied his head on his paws and stared at the kitten who stared right on back. He liked her purple eyes. “You have pretty eyes too, ya know.” He commented and gave a sheepish grin, sitting up again. It was kind of embarrassing commenting others, almost as much as receiving them. Then a question was directed towards him. He blinked and titled his head. “Well I was here a while ago, but the last time I was here I didn’t get to take a good look at this place so I thought I would.” He said a mouth full with a small kind smile. It was the honest truth, last time he was here he didn’t have time to check everything out.

Downstairs the enemy sleeps Leaving the TV on Watching all the dreams we had turn into static “Only if I was really still.”She laughed at his amused answer, nodding with a grin on her face. She was already warmed up from her earlier... bath, you might call it, and she was enjoying the sunlight as much as she could. "You have pretty eyes too ya know."She stopped for a second, slowly turning her head back to him and staring at his own for a a moment before blinking. 'R-really?' She answered quietly. She never hated her eyes, but she never really liked them either. She had always just grown up thinking that that significant different was the cause to why her life turned out half the way it did. When she first showed up in the woods, almost a bazillion years ago, she had met Ash, and immediately fallen in love with the lovely shade of blue his eyes were. And she had gone most of her life speaking her mind about things. It would almost always go like this; 'Wonderful amber eyes you have!' She would call. 'Thank you, very much.' They would answer politely, eying her own before turning away, and maybe commenting on her long white fur. And there was of course her eccentric friend Violet, who she sometimes thought of as an older sister, who seemed to love and embrace her violet eyes. Moon had never really learned what she should think about them. No one ever said anything about them. Then she realized she had been staring, and quickly shook her head, murmuring a quick apology. She was so embarrassed, all she seemed to be doing while her was here was zoning out, he must think she was anti-social or something. Should we play a game? She thought curiously before mentally shaking her head. Too...tired...She yawned, her head flopping down on the ground as the sun slowly took its toll on the sleeping cat. Rolling over, she pawed Twilight's tail playfully, her eyes half closed. 'Twilllly... Where did you come from?'She asked sleepily, suppressing another yawn. Her eyes widened when she realized how that sentence had come out, and she quickly corrected herself, heating up. 'I-I mean, how did you end up in N-Nenbrook?' She spurred out. Rolling over again, she couldn't seem to get comfortable. The grass was long and certainly hadn't been cut for years, so she made a mental note to watch out for snakes, because they were both equally tasty to each other. Rolling again, her eyes widened as a warm, seeping feeling crept through her fur, soaking into her skin. She went rigid for a moment before shrieking and leeping, eyes flickering around the clearing until she found her mark. She had rolled right into a puddle. Her eyes widened even more and suddenly she was no longer a white cat, but a pink one. 'Oh my god,' she murmured quietly. 'Did I just start screaming over a puddle?'Inspecting her fur, she shivered. It was warm from the sun, the small dug out spot that had retained some water from last night's shower, but it had been one of the most unpleasant things she had ever felt in her life. It reminded her of something, but she couldn't place it... Oh yeah. Dog jaws. Blushing furiously, she forced herself to turn around and face Twilight with a sheepish grin. 'I'm okay, I just... it took me by surprise, that's all.' She half-lied, trying to push the sudden fear out of her eyes. But she couldn't stop herself from glancing paranoidedly around the clearing before laying back down right beside him. If moving disturbed the person beside her she knew she wouldn't do it, and that meant no more creepy puddles. A shiver passed through her just before she dozed off, glancing quickly with her one open eye at a scar going across her side. That was from the first attack. She still had bad dreams sometimes. It's not like she didn't have any kitten left in her. Eventually going into a deep sleep, she didn't dream of anything, but she kept waking up and looking around the clearing, even when it had grown dark. The warm mood had been shattered. Doesn't matter what I do Nothing's gonna change I'm never good enough
[/blockquote][/i][/right] OOC: Whoa, long post xD I dunno why, I just have a lot of muse for this thread I guess. And I'm thinking, Moon is almost a year and a half I think, she is technically getting older and I can't keep RPing her as a kitten forever. I also thought that if I was attacked by murderous dogs, twice, I doubt I would also come out of it feeling great. This post was focused on the more realistic stuffs about Moon and I got carried away, even in my ooc part xD And I ruined the atmosphere. Well, paranoid ones are fun to RP too

Green orbs stared into violate pools of purple as his new friend Moon stared at him after he had commented her on her eye color as well. She seemed to be in a sort of shock like state. Obviously she wasn't used to being complimented, not on her eyes at lest. Twilight was good about reading others, though sometimes he could be a bit oblivious. Maybe he had just said something wrong? Maybe he should have just kept his trap shut. However, it didn't seem right to just take a compliment and not return it. Plus, it was indeed true, she did have very pretty eyes. Never in his life time had he seen such a bold unusual color. “Really.” He grinned to the she-cat. He hoped he hadn't offended her in any way.
What seemed like a long time, those violate orbs turned from his own green ones and Moon shook her head. Apologizing quickly after. For what? He thought, though soon realized it was probably because she had been staring. He had been just as guilty however, he stared right on back at her. Maybe they where captivated by the beauty in each other's eyes? He chuckled to himself at the thought.
He watched as she rolled over and appeared to be getting more comfortable in the grass. Sleepily she asked where he came from. Then for a second she paused before correcting herself. Twilight just laughed. “I was a house cat before, I was born into a large poor family. They didn't have the money to take care of us so took us to an animal shelter, there I was adopted into another home, before abandoned here.” He told her with a heavy sigh. He neglected to mention the part about his father's death, Whiskers and the abuse he endured at his second house. He wished he could have stayed in the house hold he was born into, with Jesse.
With a soft sigh, the male calico felt nostalgic. Remembering wasn't something he liked to do. He was Anti-nostalgic if you would say. He didn't like dealing with the pain and suffering he had endured, mentally and physically. His father's death was the first to pain him, then the abuse of his second owners. He wished to never again live that kind of pain. He had been hurt before, but it just seemed to hurt oh so much more to be betrayed by humans. Jesse was really the only human he trusted.
Suddenly, there was a loud shriek, startling Twilight out of his nostalgic moment. “W-what?” He stammered looking to Moon to see if she was alright only to find that she was all wet on one side. Her white fur now a pick color, revealing her under skin. Twilight blinked several times before laughing. He couldn't help but laugh. “I'm sorry.” He apologized for laughing but the laughs still continued. “I just though you where in trouble or something.” He laughed some more. He shouldn't have been so quick to assume. He had been worried, yes. After all she was still young and after today's earlier events, he wasn't sure she indeed could take care of herself like she claimed she could.
When she said she was alright, but just surprised he nodded and placed his paw on top of her head, ruffling her fur gently. “Haha, you scared me. But it's ok.” He said with a soft smile. He liked this kitten, she was sweet, and fun. Different from Dandi but the same in her own kitten like way.
Twilight watched Moon fall asleep, and wake up every now and then in a paranoid like state. He smiled softly and lied beside her. His larger body shielded hers. Keeping her warm. “Don't worry, I'll protect you.” He said with a small grin. “You can go ahead and sleep.” He told her resting his head on his paws. His eyes held half way open as he watched around them as she drifted in and out of sleep. Transparency dyes the night sky, and I walk alone on the road that always leads home Anti-Nostalgic – BadLuck
