A park? Tarragon thought excitably as he walk though the front gates. He hadn’t fully explored his new home, and when he saw a park he needed to investigate. Parks equal human right? He kept thinking as he walked towards the playground Maybe some human can take me home… He smiled at the thought; already he was tired of being a stray and eating less than pleasant food. A new home sounded great right now. He spotted a little boy squeezing his mothers hand and pointing to a slide. The mother nodded and reluctantly let the boy go. Immediate after his release he ran away, almost like a rat let out of its cage. That lady looks nice… he thought; then walked closer to her Maybe she needs a cat like me as a pet... Slowly he walked to the lady; and right away she spotted Tarragon. He stopped, to look at her and meow calmly. The lady stood up abruptly and walked away. Tarragon was crushed…”What did I do wrong?” He said to himself out loud.
