The birds chirped happily during this time of day, but what should they know? Paws hit the ground at a sprint as a silver tabby nearly glided along the dirt road path, it's tail was in a perfect parallel line with the ground. Amber orbs focused on what was ahead the feline made tall jumps over the ground as if it had unlimited energy. Now looking through the cat's eyes you could see endless road leading to a city that seemed to be stretching on forever... Well, to bad it isn't true now.
A screech of tires and a cat's yowl sounded through the area, a few thumps resonated as the car drove back to where it came from. The cat on the other hand having been thrown out of the window was slightly startled for it was roughly grabbed by the scruff of the neck while it took a quick nap. Shaking it's silver tabby fur the cat gazed ahead of it, reality came crashing down onto it. 'This place looks just like my dream! What have I, Chaos Crescentfang, gotten myself into now?' Shaking his head slowly Chaos looked at the road in front of him, trees lined the road providing shade as he sat down there. Long tail brushed against the dirt road when Chaos got an idea, a smirk was placed on his lips in an 'no ones gonna stop me now' look.
Trotting towards the city he occasionally stopped to take in his surroundings, new place means new enemies. Chaos stopped in his tracks suddenly as a bad thought appeared in his head, 'What if stray dogs find me?' His look gone it was replaced by another different one that showed anger and intense concentration. 'I'll whip their asses that's what!' Continuing down the road his ears pricked up at every small sound including a cricket's chirp, it was a sweet tune and Chaos stored it in his mind nicely. After a few hours of walking-trotting, Chaos reached the edge of the city. Hearing the rustle bustle of every day human life, he smiled sharp white teeth where observed by the birds as they seemed to get quieter and quieter as he headed towards the city.
Shrugging it off he stopped in his tracks, listening intently once again taking observation of the city and farmlands around him. Amber orbs slid over everything, tail tip brushed against the ground. Looking up towards the sky he remembered watching his two sisters Lilac and Lotus being carried away, never to be seen again... Right? 423 Words Anyone

Lazily, Pear wandered near the edge of the city. It hadn't been long since she had rushed from it, in a hurry to escape it's great buildings. She had sought refuge in the forest for a time, but was pulled back to the huge maze that lie to her side. Her ears flexed at the sound of the birds singing, the familiar sound she remembered and loved. The screech of tires on pavement sounded in the distance, followed by human voices calling to each other. The voices came from the houses to her right, she glanced towards them, but her view was clouded by trees.
She considered going to investigate but decided it was better to avoid the humans, whom Pear found wild and unpredictable. So she continued to trot through the thin bush, bouncing through the leafs. She finally came to a human road, which lead towards the city. With a slight huff, Pear sat in the shade, contemplating where to explore next. "What about the city? I could always leave if it gets messy," Pear sighed with a low meow, stretching her stiff back.
A flash of silver was seen across the road, Pear looked to find a silver tabby, it's head pointed to the sky. Pear tilted her head to the side, trying for a better look at the cat. Above him she saw nothing, had a bird flown overhead or was she missing something? "You might get a sore neck if you try doing that all day," She called to the strange cat, wondering what he was up to. Pear remained perched across the street, cautious just in case.

The voice came out of nowhere, he nearly jumped but didn't. Looking towards where the voice came from he saw a cream colored cat, not that far away from where he was sitting. He let out a relieved sigh, c.ocking his head slightly to the left like he usually did. Taking in the cat, or rather she-cat as it appeared to be. His thoughts whipped by like lightning one seemed to be a bit more obvious than the rest, 'That must be a stray, like me now I guess.' Amber eyes took in the cream she-cat he called out in a sort of smooth voice, "I know that, my name's Chaos. Chaos Crescentfang." The meow sounded well, like a meow to human ears. A calm sort of aura dripped out of him, to him it felt almost fake. Why was he being so calm to a complete stranger? The answer alluded him completely, sending him in a wild goose chase. Standing up, his long tail was held up in a greeting sort of fashion. Normally revealing his true emotions more than anything else, ears pricked he patiently waited for the cream colored cat to reply.

Chaos' calmness wrapped around her like a warm blanket. Pear relaxed her shoulders as he spoke, his voice oddly comforting. "Chaos Crescentfang," She said quietly. "Kind of rolls of the tongue, eh? M'names Pear Wildfang, nice to meet you." The tom had an odd name, one that she had never heard a cat wear before. What kind of cat was he, to go by a name like that? Would she want to stick around and know the reasoning behind such a daunting name? "Names are just names, there's more to a cat than what you see at a first glance," She pried her thoughts back to the cat that studied her. His thick, amber eyes appeared calm and welcoming.
Unlike his, her tail failed to stir, remaining lifeless on the ground. She smiled, showing the tips of her fangs, in an attempt to be friendly. "So where are you from?" Pear meowed louder, trying to spark conversation. She was still uncertain whether the cat was a friend or a foe, but she was willing to stay and find out. Deep in the pit of her stomach she felt a large, hollow lump, tingling with the silver tabby's eyes on her.

Keeping her body in total alignment , her silver, tabby shoulder blades moved in a precise circular motion. Looking around at her all to calm surroundings, she could only expect a car to come rolling down the Old road at any time now. Fern had no idea why she was again at the foul, rank scented blacktop, human road. The tabby femme couldn't help but remember the day she was abandoned in Nenwood. Her first experience there was no to be taken lightly. She was not simply thrown out of a car or ran away from the humans out her own will. She was thrown into a cold lake, still trapped within her cardboard box. It was a traumatic expieriance and she shook her head insanely. 'What did I ever do to deserve that?' Fern Silverweed had lived in Nenwood for a good two months and found it to be her new, better, home. Sighing, she lifted her head to see the town coming closer as she walked ahead. Sticking close to the trees now she heard the birds churping overhead.
"At least you can never complain about the entertainment here" Fern giggled. Opening her muzzle to taste the air around her, and lucky for her the wind was blowing at her direction, she picked up the scents of not one but two cats. 'hmm...a she and...a tom...' Fern made a sour face at the thought of meeting up with a tom. She was usually timid around toms and usually judged them before really getting to know them. But to her sudden reminising she recalled all the toms she had met and none were too hostile toward her.
Finally shrugging her shoulders, she dashed in the direction of the two cats. They weren't far and she came up on them fast. Too fast that she couldn't stop herself from colliding with the other she-cat. A bundle of cream fur blurred her vision and quickly she pulled herself up to see the cream cat underneath her. "I am sooo sorry!!" She mewed apologetically, her voice toned with hysterics. With her chest heaving in and out she gently pulled herself off of the femme to sit in front of the silver tom and wait for the cream colored feline to regain her position. OOC: hope you don't mind If I join in...

{OOC: I don't mind =) } Pear had barely finished her previous sentence when she was tackled by the grey she-cat. The wisp had come from nowhere, flattening her against the ground, causing her to exhale. When the weight above her was removed she tried to regain her posture in a sitting form, still slightly dazed. The frantic words that spilled from the cat made Pear laugh, hardly upset herself. She shook her creamy coat, clearing the dust, and regaining her focus. "Are you one of those wild city cats I've heard about?" Pear teased her, trying to lighten the mood.
The female cat had brilliant green eyes, and a coat not unlike Chaos'. She didn't look any larger than Pear; she guess that the cat was roughly the same age as herself, judging by her actions as well as her appearance. Her orbs strayed to Chaos again, curious.

(ooc: It's fine, hopefully I'll have enough muse to keep up though. o.O) A smile graced his lips, his amber eyes slightly focusing on her. Though every once in a while the orbs looked away to make her unembarrassed, his thoughts where still at lightning speed. Like usual. Hearing the cream colored cat's name he tested on his tongue, saying almost to himself, "Pear Wildfang. Hm. It has a nice ring to it." Tail was still perked up in the air as the calmness almost seemed to swallow him, but that didn't really last for long. "I was just-" The words seemed to pause there as he watched in quiet shock as this other cat, who looked slightly like him but younger, crash into Pear. As he tried hard to not laugh he trotted over to the two cats, sort of standing over them wondering what the heck had happened. Amber orbs showed some shock in them, but laughter seemed to pour out of them. 'Who was that? A kit? No... the cat looks to young..' As he thought about that question he sort of stood back as the other cat who was on top of Pear, nearly jumped right in front of him. Taking a quick step back, he managed to dodge the rear end of the other cat.
Watching as Pear got up he took a few steps forward, since he wasn't that far away from her. "Are you one of those wild city cats I've heard about?" her voice seemed to ring in the air, if only for a few seconds. Chaos sat down, if you looked down on the three they would look like a triangle. If you liked to connect the dots that is, but either way he sat down. Tail laying against the dirt/grass, spreading it around until it made a soft dirt. Amber orbs focused on Pear as he asked "Are you ok?" there was a touch of concern for her but it was mostly being polite, cause that was what Chaos liked to do.

Fern stared at the ground and waited for either feline to speak. Then she heard the soft speech of the she-cat trying to lighten the mood and Fern couldn't help but let out a light giggle. "A street cat? Me? no no I totally lost track of how fast I was coming up on you guys. It's quite embarassing" The silver she-cat eyed the two cats as she cocked her head she smiled crookedly. As the silver tom that looked oddly like fern, but more huskier and "male" looking, sat down Fern looked away as he spoke with concern to the other cat.
Fern coudn't help but wonder how long these cats had known eachother. It might not have been long...maybe the male just had a keen scense of manners. Nodding slightly to her assumption she turned to the cats and decided to state her name considering she impolitley barrled into one of them. "Well um my name is Fern...Fern Silverweed. Nice to meet you both" she dipped her head slightly still looking expectantly at the two cats. Her soft, tabby tail twitching a bit with nervousness.

"I'm fine," Pear answered Chaos' concern, staring at his silver paws for a moment. The birds chirped loudly above them, stealing her attention. She tilted her head, and her eyes traveled to the singing. Two brilliant yellow birds could be seen in the branches above their triangle. For a slight second Pear grew oblivious to the cats beside her, an erge itching her to chase after the birds.
The female's words forced Pear's eyes back to their level. "A pleasure to meet you, Fern, I'm Pear Wildfang," Pear's voice was quiet, and carried a slightly lazy tone. She left Chaos to introduce himself, since she had only known him for a few seconds before Fern had arrived. Pear's figure was slack, her relaxed eyes shifted slowly between the other two. She knew they were not hostile, her stance reflecting that. "So, what brings you both so near to the city?" Her tail lounged behind her, twitching occasionally. "Personally, I was contemplating a trip into the city." Pear's vision strayed to the direction of the city, she was looking for a little excitement to spice up her day.
