I should have posted this earlier, but ah well.
I'm sorry I've been less active than usual lately, and I'm afraid it is going to get worse. You see, I start a new school tomorrow (Tuesday) and it's gonna be pretty hard to get on CD as much as I have been previously, so sorry if those replies are slow/non existant. Plus, I have no idea why but I'm really struggling sleeping right now, and I always seem exhausted like all the time, so I might not be able to post as well either, when I get around to it that is. I think I'll be alright with the new school thing, but the sleep problem is bothering me. Does anybody know any good ways to get to sleep easily? I'm always tired, and relaxed at the beginning, and then I just don't sleep. Weird, I know. Some nights I don't actually sleep at all. O-O Which makes it super hard for me to get up because I'm really not a morning person, lol.
So yeh, sorry about any inactivity for a while until I get used to things.

Don't worry Robin, I know exactly how you feel. Summer's ending, and I go to school tomorrow as well [high school, my first day of grade 8 ] It's gonna be hard reversing my sleep schedule from 4am to 2pm into 10 pm to 8am . There are a few things I do when I want to go to sleep. One thing is I like to watch old movies 'cross the web, like the original dracula and king kong put me to sleep in seconds!! Or I watch re-runs of shows like the OC and friends...
Also, a few summers ago i fell into a bonfire and got burned up a bit, o when I was back home i was completely freaked out of my wits [trust me, you would've been too]- and my dad made me honey-milk, which is exactly how it sounds- milk, with honey, then nuke it in the microwave for 2 mins.
Then there's just good old insomnia pills, which I used to have when I was a kid. If trouble sleeping for you is chronic, you should probably look into it.
Then... There's homework . The perfect way to fall asleep! I mean if you're having trouble, might as well get something done while you're trying to wear yourself down. I have a hard time concentrating when I'm half-asleep though
Listening to music works too, quiet stuff. I listen to it for like 10 mins, then its stuck in my head and the song plays quietly in my mind till i get sick of it and just wanna go to bed, lol.
Falling asleep to movies and TV shows, while drinking honey-milk and waiting for pills to kick in after finishing your homework and listening to some tunes- now THAT'S a strategy.

School's starting or has already started for mostly everyone, it's ok. =]
As for the sleep thing, my guess is that maybe you're just excited or anxious about school starting. I'm sure that after the first day you'll probably be feeling exhausted and have a good long sleep without waking up at all. But if the problem still persists try switching pillows, lol. ^^

Yeah, everyone's excited/nervous/stressed about school lol. As for the sleep thing I can totally relate. It took me forever to fall asleep last night and then I woke up at five in the morning. -sigh- This may sound really corny but I do try counting sheep and it kinda works if I visualize them jumping across from left to right and then right to left with big black numbers on their sides like in Splenda commercials -blushes- But usually I just get bored after 100 or so. Sorry I can't be of more help

Yep - I usually read for about an hour and then try and sleep. Lol, Apo I bet that strategy would be incredible. XD I'm going have to try those, oh and the sheep thing! I don't think I'd ever manage to get to 100 myself. x3

I have a sleeping disorder so it usually takes me two hours before I fall asleep. The thing that helps me sleep is being physically exhausted. Try walking or jogging before bed time, or even doing sit ups or push ups in bed. :] I do that some times.
Also if your like already tired and too lazy to make yourself more tired I like to visualize stories or RP with myself in my head. It's surprising how much that works you just drift off without evening knowing it! lol

Omg Neko I was just about to post that! I forgot to mention it but its my best method of falling asleep! I also have a bunch of random stories going on in my head, like this one about a ghost, and this one about this other girl, and this one about the grim reaper... and every night i try to add on to them, but i hardly get time coz i always fall asleep! xD

xD lol I found that is the best method for me. I usually like to read Fanfiction before bed and I'll continue it on in my head of what I think will happen next or whatever. Or I'll just rp in my head with my characters and or a friends characters. I once started a like story-line with my character's history and I fell asleep by the time I got to his middle-school years. xD
