A gentle breeze carried with the stream, refreshing on Pear's warm face. She sat, hunched at the base of the stream, watching her reflection dance with the current. After wandering throughout the forest for most of the day she decided to take a break, after all, she had no idea where she was headed, so why be in such a rush to get there?
Minnows splintered through the shallow water, Pear traced them with her eyes, her tail swaying hypnotically. Maybe I'll stay here for the night, this breeze is so delightful. She closed her eyes, savoring the wind that swept across her.
Several minutes later she opened her eyes softly, and peered across the bank. Pear wondered if there were any other cats about, she had yet to see any since she left the city. Her eyes strayed to the stream again, she watched the tiny minnows attempting to swim against the current, with little luck. "Silly little thing," Pear chuckled quietly, and itched closer to the water, so that she was practically over it.
Pear slapped the water above the minnows playfully, her eyes widening and her mouth slacking slightly as they scattered. The wet paw dripped, causing ripples in the water. Quietly she waited for more fish to gather, and when more came she scooted even closer and took a great swipe.
Before she knew it she was slipping face first into the shallow stream, a splash echoing passed the trees. Pear fought for a few seconds to regain control against the flow, standing awkwardly two meters from where she fell in. Well... At least no saw that. Cautiously she began to wade her way back to shore.

Extending each lean, white fur covered limb, Haven strode through the moonlit forest. With his tail held high, he knew the steps he would take before his pink paws registered the command. He had been to this particular stream a few times before and was only looking for a comfortable place to sleep. He didn't care whether he slept in the safety of a thicket or on the bay of a stream. Smirking at the all to recent event that he had here at Thorton's stream with a cute little she-cat named Dandi. "What a chick..." Haven thought as he padded along the cool forest floor.
Never really a fan of toms, he hadn't met a tom yet worthy enough to be his friend here in Nenwood. But believe him when he says he loves the she-cats. It had seemed like a life time ago that he had met his potential mate Tangerine. Sighing sadly, he had lost contact with her and could no longer find her scent...anywhere. He had only been in Nenwood for about a month, and he consequently thought he'd found the cat that he'd start a family with..."but I was wrong..." He spit curses at his naive mind.
Finally, after walking for awhile the cool crsip scent of clean water flushed through his scenses. Now forgetting his past mistakes, he pranced with joy through the now thinning trees. "Soooo tired" He mewed and he almost made it to the end of the trees when he heard a few small splashes.
Curiosity caused his white-pink ears to prick up. Now pulling himself out of the remaining trees, he caught a glimpse of a cream colored cat drop into the water. Instintly he practically bounded to the she-cat, but stopped when she stood up. The moonlight hit her pelt perfectly as to make her pelt ripple. "Meeeow!" he thought and decided to sit down, watching the feline femme. His red albino eyes scanning over her. "You know, I don''t think you really needed a bath. Your pelt is flawless."
Haven smiled crookedly to the she-cat, adding a hint of charm. He wasn't sure how the she-cat would react to his "friendly" nature. If worse came to worse he'd leave her alone and find a place to sleep. He knew when to stop bothering females. Near the moonlit rippling stream, Haven's albino fur seemed to become transparent, showing his pink vulnerable skin. His tail hovered over the ground and he curled it neatly around his paws.

When Pear heard the tom talk she jumped and nearly lost control against the stream, not expecting another cat to pop up. As she looked over him she paused on his snowy face, resting on his deep pink orbs. He looked like a young cat, but older than her. Had he just complemented her? "He must have missed how I gracefully fell into the water" Pear mused to herself.
His friendliness made up for her being soaked, she was grateful he was welcoming. Pictures of awful, aggressive cats had always tainted her thoughts of the wild. She was glad to find the opposite.
"Hardly a bath, more likely it just means I should stop teasing the minnows," Pear wrinkled her green eyes happily, not responding to his compliment on her less than perfect fur. "Or maybe I should just be smarter about it." She continued to move carefully to the side of the stream, where she stood with front her paws resting on the sand, her back two still submerged. She stood less than two meters away from the tom, watching him carefully.

Haven sighed with relief as the she-cat spun around, astonishment and a bit of embarassment swirling in her emerald orbs. He chuckled at the expression that painted her cream, moonlit face. Sitting patiently he listened to her reply, and bowed curtly noticing she didn't reply to his compliment. He didn't mind, it just showed she didn't think highly of herself when in reality she was a pretty kitty. Self-esteem was a big thing to Haven, and he learned to make it seem like he was perfectly comfortable with life and his being, but in an observant cat could see the uncertainty in his ruby eyes.
"Heh well one day those minnows are gonna get their revenge, and I don't want to be around to see that" He meowed jokingly, carefully watching the cream cat pull herself out of the water, her back legs still submerged. Lifting his white body onto all fours, he gently slid across the sandy bay to reach the crisp flowing water. Dipping his head, his pink tongue lasped over the water's surface scattering the minnows that the femme tried so hard to scare away. After taking his drink, he took a few steps closer to the femme and cleared his throught. "I forgot. The name's Haven, Haven Frozenpool at your surface." He bowed polietly as he usually was quite respectful toward she-cats.
"Why is a nice cat like you doing out here at midnight in the middle of this forsaken forest? There are some nasty cats out here" Haven asked, furrowing his brow in interrest and confusion. He was ok with living in the forest, and would rather that then live with the human species. The species that tried to humanely uthinized him because at that time he didn't want to spread his freak albino bloodline. Snarling inwardly at the memory. Of course now he wouldn't mind, especially with the lack of human influence. Just cat to cat. He then turned his attention back on the cat, after pushing himself out of his memories and future goals.

"Forsaken? I think it's peaceful, and besides, I can hold my own in a fight," Pear grinned widely, enjoying herself now. "They call me Pear Wildfang, a pleasure to meet you, Haven." She returned his bow mockingly, teasing him. His odd colouring sparked Pear's interest, she had never seen a cat with such a pure coat, and his red eyes on her made her skin tingle. Pear could see his pink skin underneath his fur, she tilted her head slightly as she inspected him
"I find it's a nice change of pace, away from the city, although this is my first night here." Her thoughts wandered to her old farm life, growing up. She hoped to find her way back there someday, if any of her brothers and sisters were left. Pear blinked to clear her head. "Those minnows are crafty, I'll give them that," She was smiling brilliantly again, unable to help herself. "And if I stick around too much they'll probably get me in my sleep." She noticed the odd limp in Haven's leg, but refrained herself from asking of its origins, not wanting to be impolite.
Her mouth fell open as if to say something, but she pulled it into another grin, unable to think of anything to say.

"Hold your own in a fight, huh?" Haven held a teasing smile and cocked his head to one side. "Nice to know..." He chuckled, his tail twitching in equal amusment. Listening intently to the cute cats introduction, he dipped his head in a mutual intrest to their meeting. "Pear is a nice name for a nice cat...Pear, huh? So that must mean you're sweet...and as for Wildfang, I'm guessing thats where your 'fighting style' comes from" Smiling a brilliantly sweet grin he walked a bit and sat down. As Pear spoke about the city, Haven shrugged and winced at the thought of the city that almost killed him.
Watching Pear now, he followed her eyes to his limp and the large scar that was hidden under his short white fur. He smiled at her thoughtfully realizing she did not want to intrude. "You don't have to hold back any questions you know..." Haven decided to take a seat on the cool and soft ground, gasping inwardly at the sudden soar tension in his leg. The scar still mocked him and would never let him forget what the human's did to him. Clearing his throat he started to talk, "I misbehaved when I was with the humans. They wanted to breed me and I wouldn't have it, so they put me in a crate with a hormonal cat. Thinking I was competition-" Haven had to pause for a minute to get his grip on everything, he took a breath and continued in a monotone voice. "He ripped me apart..." He smiled weakily.
Never had he told that story to anyone, and yet he felt almost comfortable telling this femme his most darkest memory. "Now that I told you I'm going to have to kill you...hahaha just kidding!" He tried to add some humor to the situation. Looking out onto the streams glowing surface, he waited for the femme, Pear, to speak.

Laughter rung quietly in the air, "Yea, you really don't want to run into me on a dark night. But today I'm feeling nice, so I won't tear your ears off." Her round eyes turned to slits as she continued to laugh. Her eyes straightened slowly when he began complimenting her again. Seldom did cats compliment her, it made her feel oddly uncomfortable, as if her fur was being rubbed against the grain. Brushing off the awkward feeling, she licked her paws quickly and rubbed her ears.
She shrunk slightly when Haven saw that she was eying his scar. Pear hadn't meant for him notice, yet she was curious of how the albino had come across such a nasty scar. A shiver tingled down her spine and scattered through her fur as he told her how he was punished by humans. Pear watched the stream again while he spoke, unsure of what she should say. While humans had never directly harmed her, they had separated her family. "I'm sorry." Pear said delicately, not sure how else to comment on his brutal assault. She sucked air into her lungs slowly, glad that she had never been in a real fight herself, she had no doubt that she would lose in such a situation.
"Oh no! Spare me!" She smiled weakly, glad that he had decided to move on from the previous, gloomy topic. "Don't make me show you the meaning of Wildfang." She added, laughing as she pictured her teeth dug into Haven's rump. Pear was beginning to respect Haven, not only for his charm, but his warmth as well. "So, why are you wandering around here so late? I hope you didn't come to taunt the minnows." As Pear spoke she yawned widely.
