History: Jenni was a very beautiful and prized tortoiseshell and belonged to the most rich couple in the city. When a stray from her earlier years reentered her life they soon started meeting each other when her owners were out. Pretty soon they noticed their prized female acting strange, more feral than usual. Most of the time J would act aggressive and unsocial, whenever her owners try to pet her she would hiss and try to claw at them. They saw the stray and kept her in secure lock down in a cage when they left to go to parties and dinners. Somehow, Jenni found her way through the cage (the bars were weak and slightly widely set apart). Jenni escaped into the darkness through her 'door', the overly-confident owners forgot about her cat flap and didn't block it.
Once out in the great outdoors she met up with her friend, a tom named Spell, and made it as far as the next house, which the young child found them and almost squished Spell if it wasn't for Jenni's attack. They noticed her collar and returned her to her owners. Soon after a month she started showing signs of pregnancy and what she was doing most of the time she ran away from home. After she gave birth to the 8 kittens, the owners demanded that Animal Control went to find Spell and have him captured.
Oleander was the only kitten to survive from the litter, the others died due to poor nutrition; J was starving and her owners really didn't care. Their precious prize-winning cat has tainted herself having a litter. When they got here, they were soon met by Spell who was always close to Jenni when they got separated (She ran away from home). He showed Oleander the ways of a stray, but they couldn't remove her collar. She has been with her parents until that dreaded fight.
One cool and clear night two cats from the neighboring houses that Jenni and Ollie used to live in snuck into their 'home' and tried to kill Oleander. They were jealous and cruel cats, spoiled and pampered by their previous owners. When they got a hold of Oleander, Spell was already clawing away at them. The kitten fell from the teeth but one of the cats grabbed her by the ear, blood coming out of it. Jenni was awakened and killed the two quickly. Spell was full of cuts and scratches and Jenni was tending at his wounds. Oleander quickly got away from her parents, she was 7 weeks at the time, and there was a nick in her ear. They didn't notice her disappearance until the next day, searching high and low for her, but no luck. She was gone, free to roam Nenbrook by herself.
Personality: new cats Oleander has a fairly neutral personality when dealing with strangers and strange cats. She is very open-minded with cats and other creatures and doesn't judge too quickly. Whenever she meets a new 'friend', Oleander doesn't do what her mother does; tearing at the stranger to shreds. Plus, her claws and teeth are too small. Her mind doesn't take that long to see if the cat is good to become her friend. Most of the time she just stares blankly at a wall, trying to figure out life. Oleander sometimes talk to cats like they've known each other for ever. She loves to meet new cats if she's in her 'happy' stage and is very cheerful if she likes him/her.
psychology & social skills She's a very troubled kitten, taking everything seriously and is moody most of the time. Oleander will just hiss or bite at creatures who cross her path in this moody stage. Her mother thinks she has bipolar disorder because it keeps changing. One day she's happy and cheerful, the next hour she can be dark and threatening. When she's in her 'good' stage, Ollie likes to pick flowers and give them to her parents (when she was with them) or to strangers. She would say hello to one cat cheerfully and almost ignore the next one. Oleander doesn't notice her mood swings and is a very social cat, if it counts nobody. She's very shy and doesn't like to talk most of the time, but with her mood swings, she can be very outgoing and talkative.
intelligence and kindness Oleander's a very intelligent kitten for her age. Her mind is so quick to process things that she learns useful skills in a heartbeat. Games are fun for her to play because she loves to learn new ones. When she doesn't know what something is, Oleander quickly investigates the 'scene' and if she can't find out what that item is, she likes storing it in her 'stash'. (She keeps a little box of peculiar items at 'home'). Oleander cares too much about the cats around her that she loves to help out the ones in need. She always tries to find new homes for homeless cats (with the help of her parents, before the fight) and she tries to help lost kittens find their parents.
regrets? sorta Oleander always thinks about the time that she left her parents, she thought it would be nice, that they wouldn't have to burden her anymore, but she always thinks about how life would be if she stayed. She would recive attention and care almost all day, a proper meal (if there was a lot of prey), and a nice, clean home. But she likes the life she lives in now, it's full of challenges around every corner.
