It was the wicked and wild wind Blew down the doors to let me in.
Dandi giggled as she ran ahead of Robin, determined to reach the woodlands before the orange tabby tom. She knew where she was going, and had been the one to dash off first so it only made sense that she would beat him there but those were just insignificant little details. She continued to giggle, running faster and faster. "No way you'll beat me!" she called back teasingly over her shoulder. She was so going to beat Robin there. She laughed.
The black and white kitten sped into the woods, darting around the trees to avoid painful collisions. Stifling the giggles, she ran further and further. "Roooobin!" she called back with a bit of a laugh. "Bet you won't find me!" She gave a small laugh, darting into the hollow at the base of a tree. The ground was thick and an earthy mush hung in the air, concealing her scent. Now she would wait and wait to see if he'd find her. Though it would be hard not to laugh.
It was so exciting being in the forest! The real thing! She'd seen pictures in her old house, when she was a little pet, and she'd seen it on the "television" but now she was actually in it. Being on the streets was one thing, but being in the woods... that was the true wild. Embracing the whole freedom thing - more so than anywhere else in the area. In the woods she wasn't a little pet playing around as a stray. She was a stray. And she couldn't stop grinning.
This was what being a stray should be like. Running around and just having fun with others without worrying about the serious stuff. Robin was a great fun and she was so glad that she'd met him. He was just so much more interesting then all the other cats on the streets. That's all she'd been able to think about since meeting him - how different he was. The perfect friend to have.
Shattered windows and the sound of drums
OOC: I used the hiding thing with Indigo hiding from Stellar before in a similar situation before but I really liked it and figured it would work here lol Hope you're alright with it and sorry for taking a while to start it.

The forest seemed oddly alive, as the wind blew through the abundance of towering trees, vast amounts of rodents scurried through the undergrowth and there was obviously no scarcity of feline inhabitants either. Voices of cats rang from every possible location, and there was nothing unusual about two extra figures weaving through the woods. The older of the two was an orange tom, his pelt marked with darker spots. His golden eyes seemed fixed on the path ahead, he wouldn't be conquered by the smaller she-cat. As they progressed through the forest, Robin Quickwhisker tried to concentrate on claiming a victory, but although his body was speeding along as fast as it could without tripping, his mind wandered. Dandelion was the first cat he'd met, and a great little cat. She seemed unbelivably nice and kind (not to mention adorable!) she seemed a perfect example of a friend.
"Oh come on! I'm older, bigger and faster than you!" He purred towards her. he put on an extra burst of speed and managed to run by her side. He pushed his figure into extra speed, and he strained as much as he could. He soon heard her voice again, but he ignored it and progressed further. But it wasn't long until he discovered maybe he was going a little bit too fast. He cried out in sucsess as he past her, but his victory was posponed as he tripped and fell, head first over a fallen tree. He had bruised the side of his face, but he struggled to his paws and continued. Then, he realized Dandi had vanished! The cat swung his orange head around in confusion, but he managed to spot a tiny tail swishing around from inside a hollow at the base of a tree.
He skidded around and managed to discover her completely then, as he posed his head through the hole. "Hey, what are you doing, hiding on me?" He giggled, smiling comically. He tried to squeeze in, but no matter how hard he tried he couldn't force his shoulders through the narrow gap. This was such an adventure! He'd been uncertain when he arrived, yes, but all of the anxious thoughts of this new life had been forgotten, he was going to love this place! He could be a stray cat, wild and free to do whatever, whenever. Everything was his choice. If someone said sit, he could stand if he wanted to. Enjoy life. Be friends with everyone, obey no-one. It seemed impossibly good. Especially now he had found Dandi. She really seemed to be a cat that really couldn't be forgotten.

With a start, Dandi realized that she had been in the woods before - with Twix and Plum. She frowned. She hadn't seen Twix in so long now, she missed him. Plum too. But being in the woods with them had been different. They'd stayed close to the stream except for when they'd climbed up into that tree - but even then they hadn't been far in. Now she could actually explore the inside of the forest, and what was best - she got to do it with a friend. She grinned, remembering Robin, and snuggled deeper into the leaves. They were probably quite dirty, but so what? It was a shock to hear herself thinking that but it was true. So what? She'd clean herself later. Right now, she was having fun. She smirked.
Robin had run right by her! She stuck her tongue out as she saw his figure return, evidently confused as to where she had gone. It was true though - he was much bigger than her, and therefore faster. It wasn't her fault he'd passed her. But it was his fault he'd lost her! She resisted the urge to giggle, not wanting to give away her hiding place but when Robin's head poked into the hole she gave in, laughing after the initial shriek of surprise. "Robin!" she exclaimed, still laughing as she pulled herself up out of the hollow. Sticking her tongue out quickly, she continued. "Sheesh, way to scare me!" She reached up and licked his ear quickly.
"And I wasn't hiding from you-" she started to say before giving a small giggle. "Okay, I was, but as a game. I wanted to see if you could fine me," she explained. "- ever play hide and seek?" she asked, hoping the answer would be a yes. "And you did," she finished with a small pout. "but that's okay. You can make it up to me by playing loads of hide and seek," she crowed with a laugh. Her tail swung back and forth for a minute before she pounced at Robin, hitting him in the side before they both fell over in a tangle. Dandi laughed. "Now we're even!" she chirped with a giggle.
OOC: Hope the pouncing and both falling over thing is okay - if not I can edit

The trip to the vast Silvercrest wood was an unbelieveable expiereince for the small orange cat. Robin had never been to anywhere as amazing before. He had never even encountered something like this, he was absolutely facinated by his surroundings, especially as he entered the wood for the first time. Plus, he was with Dandi, the exact cat he'd choose to come with him. He smiled as he stood slightly uncomfortably with his shoulders pressing against the enterance of the hole. He didn't care though, he had been in much tighter spots than this. The carrot-coloured tom couldn't hold back an amused giggle as the younger she-cat exclaimed in surprise. He could feel the fur face suddenly turn scarlet as Dandi reached up and licked his ear. Grinning uncontrollably, he began to purr quietly. Could this day possibly get any better? He was in this amazing wood, with a great friend and so many oppurtunities! Alright, he had been abandoned by an idiotic human, but this unfortunate event actually seemed to turn for the better. His life had suddenly sloped upwards, soaring to the skies with exhilaration.
"Oh, good! Why would you want to hide to me," he mewed comically, a strangely fun smile on his face. "Really? Well, I think you'd like to know, I am the champion at hide and seek," Robin puffed out his chest and spoke regally, pronouncing the word champ-ee-on, emphasizing the word as much as possible. "Well, I guess that seems pretty fair!" His voice was springy and immature - sounding once again, his regular voice returned after his jokingly royal speech previous. His gold eyes widened as he felt a small kitten pounce into his side, surprised, he tried to keep his balance but he failed miserably, twisting around slightly before collapsing just outside the hollow. Flashing a giggly smile to Dandi, he silently planned his next actions. "Even? Maybe. But not for long," he meowed. He bunched up the muscles in his back legs, and crouched down to the floor. Powerfully, he pushed up and pretended to aim to land on Dandi's shoulders so he could pin her down, but he twisted easily around in mid air and at the last minute he dived down not too far away from the other kitten. Spinning around, he shot one of his spotted orange limbs to swipe her swiftly over the ear, before leaning back in order to attempt to avoid any other blows Dandi might have in store for him. Grinning, he prepared for impact. The thrill of this play-fight was great, but he was secretly glad that he hadn't had to face a real fight yet. The whole idea literally scared him. But, things were way too good to be worrying about that at the moment!

"The champion?" Dandi giggled, feigning awe. "Well I guess I just shouldn't bother then if you're so sure you're gonna win," she teased with a laugh, her eyes sparkling playfully. It felt so nice to just be out here playing with Robin. The adults that she'd met were nice and all and sometimes even fun to be around but playing with someone closer to your own age was always much funner. She gave another giggle, a mischievious smirk appearing. "'Cept I'm also a hide-and-seek champion," she boasted with a quick laugh, flicking her tail at him. "So we'll just have to see, eh? May the best kitten win!"
She giggled as she knocked Robin onto the forest floor. It was dusty and dry and she knew her fur was getting dirty but she still didn't care. Right now, playing and fun were much more important. "Oh really?" she questioned teasingly. "Worried I'll get you again?" she joked, her tail curling around her back leg. Dandi braced herself as Robin crouched, determined not to be bowled over easily. When he leapt she could always dart to the side anyway. But the he twisted, diving away from her and she let out a laugh at his bluff. He'd never intended on getting her, had he? Silly Robin. A swipe on the ear contradicted her and she gave a startled yelp. Not because it hurt but because she hadn't been expecting it.
"Oh you'll be sorry," Dandi promised, trying to sound as evil as she could without bursting into laughter. She crouched down and began to creep forward as if she was hunting, her tail swishing behind her. She giggled involuntarily and then bit her lip. Robin was bigger than her - and stronger - so she couldn't hope to knock him over now that he was prepared for her "attack." But what if she dived at his legs and knocked them out from underneath him. Her eys strayed up to his shoulder, as if that was where she planned on hitting them. She bunched her muscles and jumped but purposely fell short of Robin, sliding forward into his legs and hoping it would be enough to knock him over.

The small orange tom looked down at the smaller black and white feline. He noticed she wasn't actually that much smaller than him any more. There was only a couple of months between them. It was kind of weird, but Robin shrugged off the feeling. He couldn't help continueing to smile as she commented on his 'brilliantness'. "Well, obviously. There is no cat in all the land that could riegn supreme over my fantabulous talent!" Once again, he shoved his chin up majestically. "No, no. There'd be no point in you even attempting to conquer me in my field of expert-ees." His whiskers twitched comically, and he twisted back to her. Two twin ears swivelled towards her as she spoke about her 'skills.' "You? A champion? That is completely impossible. Age before beauty, dear Dandelion."
Robin Quickwhisker felt his pelt getting attacked by a huge cloud of dust, but he completely ignored it as he tackled Dandi playfully. "Me? Worried about what you could do? You are pretty darn cool but nothing compared to mwa!" Again, the spotted kitten saw no point in being serious. This was a fun little trip with his best friend. He might as well make it a good one! The kitten smiled as he swiped her over the ear, and giggled slightly, almost embarrassed. But in a good way. He really was a 'Silly Robin'! "Of course I'll be sorry; Mistress of all power and mightyness!" He mewed quickly, before sitting down on the forest floor and dipping his head and forepaws down in a feigned bow. "We are worthy! We are not!" Robin chanted, holding back some crazy giggles.
The orange kitten noticed Dandi was about to leap onto his shoulder, and he leaned out of the way, a malicious grin on his face. He saw a flash of black and white fluff zooming towards his legs and he leapt up swiftly into the air. Too late. The kitten crashed into his limbs, and he staggered back, laughing. Robin waited a moment, and then leaped swiftly up into the air. He aimed to come down on Dandelion's back, and he sat down, curling his tail around his paws, cheekily peering down at the kitten. "Ding Ding. And the orange team wins! Da da da!" Robin chuckled, before leaping away in case she had any surprise attacks in store for him. He landed a short while away, and spun around to view the kitten. Wow, this was fun! He was incredibly glad at the moment. What wasn't to love? This day, this forest, this Dandi! Everything is ah-maze-ing. Robin thought. Hey! That can be my new motto! Still as immature as ever, the spotted feline viewed the current day as simply a picture of perfection.
Admin's Note on Ocotober 9th: This thread is being archived by Robin and myself. We've decided that the following will be said to have happened:
- They played around for a bit more, becoming better friends - Then they each had to go their own ways at the end of the day
