I'm going to be away on Thursday and possibly Friday so I figured I'd make the announcement today. Firs off, I'd like to just say that this has been such a hard decision for me to make because there are about five people who all deserve the one spot of Moderator and who are most definitely qualified it. I expanded a little bit and have decide to take on two advertising mods, two moderators, and one global moderator, only because there are so many amazing members who really deserve it and I'm horrible when it comes to make decisions. =) But I know you're all just anxious to see the results so I'll stop rambling. But please, if you weren't picked, there's no hard feelings or anything, there was just only so much room. I'm really sorry.
Advertising Mods:
Responsibilities:
- Affiliating the site with other sites / Advertising us on other sites
- Checking over affiliate requests and adding them if they meet the standards*
- Routinely checking our affiliates and removing any where the site has died / does not exist any more
- ...And any other little tasks I might throw their way
Powers:
- Lock threads
- Headers and footers
*You must make sure that they have put our mini-banner up on the site. If not you reply to the thread and ask them to please put our mini-banner up on their site, then we will put up theirs.
And our new advertising mods are.....

Congrats guys! you both had lovely applications for the positions and I trust that you'll do an excellent job spreading the word about our site. You're both really great to have here on Carpe Diem and I'm extremely glad to be welcoming you to the staff ranks =D

- Locking and archiving threads that are no longer active
- Dealing with dead unfinished threads*
- Letting people know when they are breaking rules and dealing with it
- Helping to resolve disputes between members
- ...And any other little tasks I might throw their way
Powers:
- Lock threads
- Move threads
*If a thread is unfinished but dead then you must contact the members who rped that thread and figure out what was supposed to happen. You then modify the last post in the thread by adding at the end:

Then you would lock and archive the thread.

This was such a tough decision to make out of all of the many applications that were submitted to me but I'm quite sure that I reached a good decision. You've both been extremely active and are great presences here on the site. What's more, I'm certain that I can trust you guys not to abuse your powers and to help keep Carpe Diem running smoothly.
Lastly, the position that wasn't even mentioned at first as a possibility for anyone but which I think is greatly deserved...
Global Moderator:

Robin's always been an amazing member to have here on the site and is always helpful and friendly towards anyone. I know that I can trust her with this position and am glad to be assigning it to her. She already leaves little notes in biographies to help members with what they need to fix and now will have the power to actually accept them, as I trust her judgment fully. Congratulations!
I would like to note that I received two requests for positions that were not originally thought of, from Lucy and Carlia. I do agree that they would each be suited to the job they suggested but I just don't think that we're really in need of the positions as it stands right now, I'm really sorry. I'll keep you guys in mind if we ever do need them though. xD

PS: Please note that I have not assigned all the powers and positions yet but will be heading to do that now. I'll also try and add you guys to the staff part of our side-bar soon but as I'll be away tomorrow and possibly the day after, that might take a bit longer lol. xD
