Well, it's my birthday tomorrow, but...

I'm kinda mad right now, and sad, just generally upset.

This isn't something I thought I would say, but...

My stupid granny stole my birthday and replaced it with a family reunion!!! >.<


So I'm really mad, at her and my dad. Because I was really excited, me and my friend were gonna go shopping then go back to my dads place and pick up my favorite cake that they only sell at this one place, and then rent a bunch of movies and stay up late watching them.

But when I called my dad to tell him the plans, he immediately shut me down, telling me my granny was having a family reunion already. Then. On my birthday. Which is tomorrow. ON MY BIRTHDAY.

So I was yelling at him. She had some nerve, making plans with my entire family on my b-day. He said she probably didn't realize it, and that just made me angrier, 'coz that meant she had actually forgotten that it was my birthday. So I asked him if he could not go. One person missing wouldn't be that bad, right?

WRONG. He said he had to chaperone. TRANSLATED: His mom was gonna get mad if he didn't rive her around. RIGHT. So my dad blew me off for his mom, and a bunch of old people.

And THEN he had the nerve to ask me to actually come to it. On my birthday. No way man, not in a million years. My mom and I bounced the idea that perhaps it was just a plan, that it was actually a surprise party for me.

WRONG AGAIN.

He said he would do whatever I wanted on Saturday, but that wouldn't work. The stupid FU was on Friday, my b-day, I'm posting today on Thursday, and my best best friend was leaving on Saturday. And I got so mad at him for blowing me off coz he didn't want to face his mom that I hung up on him. Guess what? 3 hours later

AND HE STILL HASN'T CALLED ME BACK.

Sorry guys, but I just had to blow off some steam. I'm just really upset right now. I don't get to spend my birthday with my dad! And I know I'm gonna have just as much fun with my mom, it's just upsetting that it ended up like that.

That sucks!! I'm pretty angry at my folks right now too for multiple reasons. I know what it's like when you just have to tell someone and blow off some steam, that's completely understandable. But Happy Birthday and I hope everything works out for you!

That seriously sucks! Man I'd be mad too but then again I really don't do much for my birthday. <.< Happy birthday btw. =\ Hope things work out too and it's not a problem to blow of steam what friends are for right!? :3

Thanks guys, I hope it works out too. My granny always gets what she wants anyways. I'm so glad everyone on CD is so understanding. I know that sounded corny, but seeing that someone else seems to (well, maybe not, but still) understands why I'm so angry makes me feel a little more justified.

I haven't really celebrating my birthday since I was 9 and I'm turning 13 so I'm pretty excitied. I'm sure I'll have lots of fun, too.

And I know this is totally off topic, but I'm in a better mood since I (finally) caught Camp Rock on tv just now. I don't usually like the new disney movies, like Hannah Montana and I hated HSM1+2 but I actually REALLY liked this one. I loved the main char, Mitchie, I thought she was really endearing and cute.
