Reed trotted along the side of the old road, wondering where his sister could be. Everyone who saw her said she was heading this way. She has to be somewhere near here.
He sniffed the air and thought he could smell another cat, but the scent was so light he couldn't tell if it was Dandi. He continued to follow the trail, hoping he would find her soon. It was spring and getting warmer, but it was still no time for a kitten to be alone, him either. I have to find her. I just know something went wrong at her home. He continued, picking up the scent, as it got stronger and stronger.

Here I am Easy to see
Dandelion Sunseed trotted along the road, her paws sore and her tail drooping. "I'm tired," she announced to the world, pouting. And she was. She'd been wandering for ages and was still as lost as ever. She sighed. Just then, a butterfly flapped in front of her face. "Ooooh!" she squealed and ran after it, exhaustion and depression forgotten. She giggled and reached with her paws to bat at it but it was always just out of reach. Finally it flapped up high into the trees and was lost to sight. "Silly budderfly," Dandi admonished before laughing at it and herself and skipping off down the side of the road, through the ditch.
There was a small croak and she glanced down to see a frog, hopping through the ditches into the tunnel where there was water. She giggled. "Eek!" he jumped bakc in surpised and laughed again before she began chasing after it. But she lost it amidst some muddy areas. She splashed around in a puddle or two before leaping out of the ditch and shaking the water out of her fur. She scraped a bit of mud ff her paws and on the side of the road but didn't want to spend too much time on such a useless activity and so was soon on her way.
It wasn't until she'd been wandering for a while that she saw another cat. She grinned and ran forward, wondering who this nw cat would be. As she got closer she realized it was a itten like herself. "Yay," she said with a grin, bouncing over. Shortly, she noticed his calico fur.. tufty like her own but slight less. "Omigod!" she said in a rush, dancing with excitement. "Reeeeeed!" She grinned and leapt over in front of him. "It's meeee! Dandeeee!" She grinned, her eyes twinkling with excitement. "What are you doing here? Was your owner man too? She seemed nice. That's weird. Did you run away? Did she abandon you? I can't believe you're here! I've ooking for home - with Mommy and Daddy - and I can't find it." She pouted "I think I'm lost. But that's okay cause you're here too! We can be lost together!"
There's no invisibiity.

Reed giggled excitedly. The kitten he had been looking for was standing right there. 'Dandi!!!!! I thought I'd never find you! No my owner was nice, but I thought you were in trouble, so I went looking!" He giggled loudly. "I got lost too." He pounced at the other kitten, wanting to play. He pawed at her legs, rolling on his back in the grass at the side of the road. It felt good to have a little piece of his family back. He hoped he'd find the rest soon, but that was for another day. "What shall we do now?" She could take that a number of ways, where to go? What to do? Anything really.

Now you see me...
Dandi giggled with her brother, still finding the concept that he was actually here hard to grasp. But hey, to her, a lot of things were hard to grasp. She smirked. "Good to see ya too, Reed." But her eyes betrayed her false nonchalance and she let out another laugh. "Yeah well the boys I was with liked me a bit too much." She gulped. "They would chase after me and never left me alone and they scared me so I ran away." She lifted her head defiantly and raised her tail up straight like a banner. Dandi grinned.
"Perf, being lost is so much more fun when you're not alone. And a lot less scary," she added as an afterthought. But she was distracted as Reed pounced at her, batting at her legs. She let out a little mock shriek and fell over onto her back, flailing her paws wildly and laughing. She jumped up to her feet and let out a little mock hiss, grinning. She leapt at her brother, pouncing at him in a tangle of fur and paws. When she finally distangled herself, grinning and breathing in, she sat up. Her brother's question made her think for a moment. She didn't like thinking. "I don't know," she admitted.
"Why don't we be street cats?" It came to her in a flash. It would be so cool - living on the streets all dangerous-like. Of course, young Dandi was in no mind to appreciate that 'being street cats' was a lifestyle and not a game and that living out of a human household was much more serious than she thought. But rather than burden her head with those icky thoughts she started to ramble. "We can explore and look around and meet strangers and learn howda do a buncha tricks and cool stuff!" Her eyes were wide with impending awe. "That would be so cool!" she shrieked before descending into another fit of giggles.
Now you don't.

Reed nodded getting excited. The pairs imaturity could have terrible results, bu tit sounded fun at the time. "Yeah! We'll be strays. We'll go anywhere whenever we want to. We'll eat whatever we feel like It'll be great!" Reed ran around chasing a whisp of grass that danced in front of him. He pawed at the leafy substance and continued to play. Of course he'd miss the warmth of his bed, his yummy tuna food, and the company of the elderly woman that took care of him. Something about being a stray, with his sister was just, to appealing. "We should do something to make us official strays." He wondered. "Maybe we can snatch our first, stray cat meal."

((OOC: Find by me too, of course Reply whenever, if you don't mind I'll post now too though ))
"And he was all hiding And I was all:
Dandi giggled at her brother's enthusiasm - nearly matching her own. "Omigod, Reed, this is amazing. My world has been turned upside down for the much better. Fuh-lipped!" She giggled, paws kneading the ground with excitement as she began to bounce slightly on spot. "Oh, Reed," she sung. "This is ah-mazing! The two of us out here!" Her eyes were wide and brilliant gold with disbelief. "But tell me, Reed! What of the others? Mommy and Daddy?" Her brow wrinkled - the only clue to her sudden wash of homesickness - her voice betrayed only excitement. "How are they? And whadda bout Lilac? Smoke? Did you see either of them after you left? You were next door to Mommy and Daddy and Lilac, after all."
She grinned. It didn't really matter what he said. She was happy to have him here, gossip or not. Though a few little facts couldn't hurt. She grinned again - her happiness was like a pesky little kitten (like herself) - im-possible to get rid of. She giggled. "Ooh! That would be ah-mazing!" But her face quickly fell. "But... do you know how to hunt? Maybe we could scavenge out first meal as strays? Head to some garbage area or whatevs. Garbage is stinky but strays seem to like it." She shrugged - obviously having no idea of the hardships of her new life and clearly underestimating it.
And, of course, over-estimating herself.
Or perhaps not.
"BOO!"

Reed nodded. "Looking through the garbage would be a much easier way to find a meal." He smiled, just happy his sister was standing right beside him. He remembered his family back home. "I saw mom, dad, and Lilac before I set out to look for you. They're all fine. Lilac has gotten alot bigger. Mom feeds her to much, that's what dad said. They all look fine. I never saw Smoke, but I hope he's well." Reed sighed, he wished he could have his brother here with him. Smoke had been his best friend, but now he was gone/ Of course he had Dandi, but he still longed for the rest of his family.

One, two Three, four
She grinned her agreement. "Yep. But maybe stinky." She pulled a face jokingly before giggling again. It was contagious; she couldn't stop. She was so happy to see a familiar face - especially a friendly one at that. Involuntarily, her ears pricked up straighter at mention of her parents. "Ooh! Silly Lilac. Bigger like grown up or like...." She paused but never had been one for discreetness or eloquence. "Or like...fat-big?” She giggled again, not wanting to be rude but wanting to know. Reed was pretty polite so he wouldn’t have called their sister fat off the bat. But if she asked him…
Not that Dandi had anything against Lilac. Of course not. She loved her sister. Lilac was just more plain and sweet whereas Dandi was adorable and energetic. She smirked, lifting her tail and head a little bit higher. Still, she thought, it would be nice if she could see them again. All of them. But she was a stray now - a castaway on the streets. Fortunately, it meant much less limits. Also the promise of much more trouble to get into.
Oh, goody.

Reed giggled quietly. "Bigger as in grown-up. She grew up a lot quicker then us." He ment in size really. He had been forced to mature rather quickly when he went to live with the elderly woman. She was nice, but she would often forget to feed him, or give him fresh water. He'd have to find ways to get food and water on his own. This responsibility brought on a whole new mature lifestyle, which made Reed age rather quickly. It would be nice to finally be able to relax here on the streets. Then Reed realized something. No one would be taking care of him out here. This wa sthe streets, he had to fend for himself, and Dandi. He knew he would mature anyways, but the thought was still depressing.

Dandi giggled again. "That's what I thought," she assured. Reed had always been much nicer than her - no way would he have meant fat. Well, maybe. She had to ask at least. She clucked her tongue, glancing around her. There was a whole world to explore! But...where to start? "Sooooooooooo," she drawled. "Any idea where we should head first for some fun exploration?" She raised one brow and gave a little shrug. "I, personally, have not a clue."
She frowned. "We should get outta here and go to like.... the woods! Or like some fieldy-thing. We don't wanna spend all our time near the human neighborhoods." She wrinkled her nose. "Pnly pets do that. And we aren't anymore!" She giggled excitedly. "C'mon Reed! Stray life's gonna be so much fun!" She laughed.
OOC: My only comment: So naive. So sadly naive...

OOC: Agreed XD
Reed nodded. 'The woods sounds like lots of fun. We can hide in the trees, and see some wild life." He smiled excited for his new life, the new start. "I saw a barn on my way over, i thought we could go see it sometime." He smiled happily. They thought of his sister and him growing up wild and free was rather comforting. It made him feel more important, like there was a reason for his exsitance. Before he was just another dumb house cat, now he was a somebody. He could do what he wanted, when he wanted to. It was much better this way. "This is going to be great!"

OOC: Lol that's fine. I know it's still you xD
Dandi giggled again. "Yeah! We should sooooo explore the forest. Maybe see a...." She paused for breath and dramatic effect. "BEAR!" She dissolved into gleeful laughter. "Haha. Wouldn't that be terrifying times like a bazillion? It would much such such a good story though, eh?" She winked at her brother. "Sure bears are absa-flippin-lutely scary but we're pretty tough." She pursed her lips, nodding and trying to mock act all cool. She giggled.
Dandi's nose wrinked. "A barn? Sounds kinda boring. Woods are bears are waaaaay more bubbly than some stinkin' human barn. The whole point is to get away from humans. Remember?" She raised one brow at her brother. It was nice to havve him but he was saying some pretty messed-up things. Way not bubbly enough for their first stray outing. "Bears are bubbly," she said with a nod. She winked at Reed with a wide grin - her annoyance forgotten. "Our first stray thing is gonna be sooo bubbly, Reed. How'll all the other strays like that? We'll be like.... gawds!"
OOC: The naivety continues.... Sorry she's being kinda conceited/annoying/stupid/etc... lol
