It was quite cold outside, and small flakes of white ice were falling from the grey clouds over head. Even the stone pavements had a lining of ice over them. A lithe figure was slowly walking over the stones. Storm had just been thrown out of her own home, without her owners permission. Then again, it was her fault really. She attacked the human. It's not my fault, is it? No, it's Mystery's fault, isn't it? Two green eyes looked ahead, many large things on wheels buzzing past on the other side, their lights flashing over the roads and on her vision. She had never seen the world outside her door, and was a bit scared by it. Her mother was gone, and so were her brothers. They couldn't help her. Neither could her owner who was probably still in the hospital.
Storm had only traveled a few feet or so from her door, but the cold was starting to get to her. She was only covered by a short layer of silvery blue fur. Shivering a little, the lithe Russian Blue cat lowered her rump until it was on the icy pavement, cold running up her body as she did so. Long slender tail wrapped around her small paws, trying to keep the heat in her body. Lifting one paw up and taking out her claws, she swiped over her neck. The red leather collar resting there was cut off, the ends already frayed from biting. The small gold disk with her name on chimed as it hit the floor. Pupils narrowed as Storm pushed it aside and under some metal fence.
Ears twitched as the wheeled objects continued to zoom past at extraordinary rates, lights flashing over ice, snow and stone. The grey clouds overhead looked as if more ice was going to fall. In this grey and gloomy weather, Storm didn't stand out much. She blended into the background. Apart from her green eyes. She remembered her mother had really bright orange eyes, which scared her a little. Thats what the lights looked like to her, huge glowing eyes. Lowering her head and flattening her ears a little, the she-cat let a small and quiet meow escape her mouth, whiskers twitching as ice fell onto them.

A old green Toyota drove recklessly through the streets, occasionally a horn could be heard when the car cut into someone. There were two adults in the front, and a girl in the back, along with a Grey Russian Blue she was clutching tightly. She sat in the middle, and leaned forward, and appeared to be yelling. The male was the driver, he looked very angry as he contorlled the steering wheel. His knuckles were white. The female was quiet, Her lips pursed into a thin line. The girls face was red, with fresh tears on her cheeks. Her voice was high and shrill as she yelled at her parents. It was starting to hurt the cats ears.
No one in the car, including the cat noticed a cat as the car came to a screeching stop next to a sidewalk, sliding, and even going up on the side walk a bit from the all the ice on the road. The male reached back, and grabbed the cat by the skin on the bakc of its neck. There was alot of hissing, and cursing going on before the front window went down and a flash of gray was thrown out of the window like trash. "NOOOO, DAD, NOOO! MOM! LET ME OUT!! TAMAR" The girls screams were muffled as the front window went back up, and the driver stepped on the pedel, and zoomed off, almost hitting an oncoming car. The girl was looking out of the back window, visibly crying as the car went farther, and fartehr away.
"MOTHER FUCKER! COME BACK! YOU CAN LEAVE ME OUT HERE! ITS SNOWING! COME BACK, COME BACK! KAYLEY" he yelled, still sprawlled out awkardly on the ground. He got up slowly, wincing. He inspected his coat... he didn't appeard to be hurt, but he knew he'd feel all the pain later. He still hadn't noticed the Silver Russian Blue he was only inches away from. He watched the car as it sped away, his eyes wide with disbelief, and hurt.
This couldn't be happening.
Sitting down, then getting bakc up ratehr quickly hissing, he finally noticed the cat. Had she seen what happened?
"Oh... Their coming back... They just.... They... Their coming back." he said, nodding at the cat. His light grey eyes darting form side to side. Where was he? Who is she? Is she mean? Is she going to hurt him? WHERE WAS HE?

Storm's eyes darted around as more cars flew past, tail curling tighter around her front paws. One of her green eyes fell down to the red collar lying under the black metal fence she had just pushed it under. Her whiskers continued to twitch as the snow on them fell off, the ice no longer falling from the sky. The she-cat looked around, about to continue walking again when something caught her attention. A green-looking...thing was stopping by the road. It had large black feet, and two glowing yellow eyes. There were humans inside. Oh great...more stupid humans. That moment, a small pain was felt in her heart, and anger too. Storm was slowly beginning to loathe them. Things were about to get worse though.
The male of the family picked up a cat, another Russian Blue who was more on the grey side of the spectrum. Taking it by it's scruff (a rather nasty place to be grabbed by strong hands), the male threw the ball of fur out of the window. Her head shrank down, ears twitching madly as there was alot of shouting, screaming and hissing going on. It really hurt her head, paws shifting nervously under the security of her tail. Lithe female looked back up, hearing the cat speaking. It was male...well, from the voice anyway. Storm's eyes looked to the cat, until he hissed and her pupils narrowed.
"There's no need to swear y'know." she said, a small growl in her tone as she lifted her behind from the pavement and took a pace toward the male Russian Blue. He seemed alright, apart from his mouth. She gave a small smile, and a dip of her head. It was nice to see another cat around, but she felt sorry for the guy. A little. "Welcome to the street, friend. Before you ask, I have no idea where we are." Storm started speaking, her growl leaving her voice. She'd better be a little nice, otherwise...she didn't want another scar on her face. "Well, it's kinda the street where I used to live. In a house."
"I don't know how to tell you this...I don't think they're comnig back for you." Her head dipped again, tail flicking a little in the air as her green eyes looked to her collar, then to her 'friend' as it were. "I got thrown away too...but enough about sorrow. The name's Storm." The she-cat gave another smile, leting one paw walk forward, almost asking if it was alright to come closer to the tom. Now, seeing the bad things happen to another cat, Storm wanted to help. Even tohugh she was in a very bad mood inside.

Tamar rolled his eyes. "Oh yeah, I forgot girls have this thing with curse words." he muttered before turning away from her and pacing near the street, his eyes never leaving the road. They were coming back. He didn't say anything as the she cat spoke. Was she telling the thruth? Why was she thrown out? "The names Tamar..." he mumbled miserabley as he paced.
She wasn't right, she wasn't right, "Your wrong! Kayley would never leave me!" He yelled angriliy. She had to be wrong or it was the end of his lfie as he knew. "I mean... I know it wasn't going wlel at home... and and the elders hated me but she wouldn't let them get rid of me like that." he said, rambling, trying to convince himself she was lieing.
"If you live here why don't you just go back? I can't i dont know where I am, and your no help... you you pro-ant-ta-go-nist" he said, trying to appear smart, and confident. he was sure he wasnt pulling it off but he had to try.
he hadnt notice that the cat was tyring to be nice. he was too busy panicking. "If they arent coming back for us what are we going to do? I'M A HOUSE CAT. H-O-U-S-E CAT" he said, pacing faster.

Okay, now Storm was beginning to get ticked off with this feline. Tamar was it? Oh, she didn't even care now. Her tail began to rise in the air even more, getting a bit bigger and fluffier as anger rised in her mind. She wasn't about to be...verbally assulted by some cat she had only jsut met. Maybe it was the street talking, making her mad. Storm wasn't in the mood to question herself. Not now. Ignoring the fact she migh get another scar, she walked slowly over to the male cat, claws coming out from their sockets as a small growl came from her throat.
"Don't get all smart with me buster. I'm not in the best of moods either y'know." Her teeth came from under her lips as she curled them up a little, giving a slightly louder growl. Putting them away and letting her tail return to normal size, the she-cat's green eyes narrowed. Turning around, she walked back to the fence and pawed at her red collar, dragging it out and picking it up in her mouth. Storn came back to the male and threw it down by his paws, the golden name-tag chiming as it hit the pavement again. "I'm a house cat too, Tamar. Read it, it says Storm. My owner gave it to me as a kit."
She snorted, turnig away in anger and annoyance. Storm's claws went back into their sockets as she tried to calm herself down and stop her blood from boiling. "If I could get home, I wouldn't be here would I?" Her green eyes turned to give a very soft look to Tamar, hoping to herself. Tail flicked in the air as her head turned to face him. "My owner wouldn't leave me. She's in hospital, and her friend threw me out. I'm convinced it's my fault....but...Mystery..." Storm paused in mid sentence as she closed her eyes hard, seeing that other females image flashing before her eyes. She was in hell now...with no way out. Maybe it was her fault, she couldn't tell anymore. Her mind was telling her, her life was over.

((OOC: It okay if I join? My old thread kinda died lol...))
Indigo ran down the old road, enjoying the warmth that seemed to radiate from the ground beneath her. Nice and...cozy, she decided. Yes, that was the right word. As she heard a rumbling noise from behind her she gave a small mew and darted into the ditch and up into the bushes, wheeling around just in time to see a car go by. Trembling slightly and panting, she made her way through the foliage along the direction of the road until they ended and then dashed out into the ditch, pausing to take a quick lap at some water that had gathered. Already feeling much better and a little bit embarassed, she made her way over to the pair of cats, squinting against the sunlight.
"Oh yeah, I forgot girls have this thing with curse words." Indigo resisted the urge to giggle. she certainly didn't. What a sexist. She gave a little smirk and inched closer, not really listening but paying enough attention to gather that the two cats were clearly fighting or unhappy with each other. Hmm. Okay, so maybe now wasn't the best to interrupt. But then again maybe they'd welcome a friendly distraction. Plastering her signature grin on, she leapt out of the ditch on up onto the firm dirt road with a little meow of greeting to get their attention. She winked as she walked closer.
"Heya there," she said with a little grin. "Indigo's the name." She gave another little wink and then paused as she reached the pair. "You guys new to the streets?" she asked. Giving an apologetic smile, she added "I couldn't help but overhear just a bit. Honestly it seems bad at first but there are quite a few perks too. You can do whatever you want." She grinned again, enjoying her new role as ambassador of the streets to new housecats-turned-strays but also feeling slightly uncomfortable in it as well as unprepared and uncertain that she was really the best one for the job.

Storm's pupils returned to normal as she gave a small sigh in the direction of tamar. What was the street doing to her? The she-cat would have normally run off by now, to hide under a bin or something. It was Mystery's fault that...making her hide at the first sign of danger. Look at her now though. She was fighting with a cat. Or, to be more exact, having a raised-voice conversation. Tail flicked in the air as her eyes travelled down to her red collar, lying at the other cat's paws. There I go again, blaming Mystery. But, it has to be right. She put me here, didn't she?
Ears twitched as the sound of a happier meow came to her. The female Russian Blue turned her head to look at the newcomer. A ginger she-cat. That smirk made Storm want to growl again, but she had to remember to control this new-found anger. Otherwise, she guessed, her life would be short out here. Eyes continued to look over the she-cat, who had just introduced herself as Indigo, and a very weak and small smile came to her face. Storm was a little confused by the winks, but had a big guess it was to Tamar and not herself. She was guessing.
"Yeah...both recently dropped." she replied, a small sting in her words. Storm wasn't about to forgive the stupid she-cat sitting in her home. But there was a problem with that. Would she ever trust another female again? Ears twitched again as Indigo talked again, smirk changing to something somewhat apologetic. Perks? What could possibly be good about living in the cold with hardly any food! Storm had heard tales as a kitten, that street-life was like being thrown into hell. Maybe it wouldn't be that bad, she couldn't be sure yet.
Her tail lowered as she sat back down on the pavement, eyes flickering between Tamar and Indigo. "Mine's Storm, incase you'd like t'know." Despite living in a rather 'posh' houshold all her life, Storm had an accent of a very common moggy.

The cat was surprised by the little felines attitude. He hadn't meant to offend her, the sitution was quite stressful and would cuase any cat to act out of hand, but Tamar could play the atitude game. he wasn't about to sit there and let some stray dissrespect him like that. he was having a bad day.
He pushed the collar to the side, and walked up to the kitten. "I never liked collars". he mumble,d loosing track of what he was going to do as his eyes shifted form the cat the the streets. "Look, Storm, don't catch an atitude with me ok? Suck it up, I didn't mean to offend you, but as you can see, I, no WE are in a very stressful situation, so calm down, I didn't mean any harm." With that said, he turned around, away form her. "Moody females. he mumbled udner his bretahe as he watched the cars go by.
He turned around again. You couldn't imagine how annoying it was to hear such a cheerful voice when the situtaion was far from cheerful. "I am NOT new to the streets becuase it has been a big mistake... they ARE coming back for me." he said difiantly. he turned away from the two again. "My name is Tamar... Nice to meet you by the way. Also, incase you get all bi-" he was going to say bitchy, but he knew that would make Storm, and possibley Indigo angry. "In case you get offended, I don't mean to do it, but its kind of hard to access how i come off to people in this situtation." he said.
He sighed, "I could do what ever i wanted when i was at home... you talk like you've been out ehre for a while... you seem young, how long have you lived on the streets?" he asked, never taking his eyes off of the rode, and oncoming cars.

Indigo barely managed to stop herself from wrinkling her nose. My, these were two cheerful cats. She resisted the urge to roll her eyes. Then she felt bad. After all, they were clearly just upset from being dumped. Just because she adjusted well to change and loved being a stray it didn't mean everyone else would. A sigh. "I see," she said quietly, already starting to lose interest. "Nice to meet you, Storm," she said, flashing her a big smile that was 100% fake. Ah well. At least the male was a bit more talkative though she didn't really care to respond to most of what he said.
As he questioned her she shifted uncomfortably. "I don't know, maybe a month? I got dumped, met this kitten and she-cat, went exploring, met a tom name Stellar, I guess he's my friend now, got bitten by a catfish - or stung or whatever - met another tom called Sky, got broed and wandered over here." She always had liked hearing the sound of her own voice.
"Seriously though. It sucks at first but I mean now you don't have to listen to human owners or worry aout pleasing them. When you're hungry you hunt yourself some food instead of wailing for it. When you want to run around outside you do so instead of scratching at the door and waiting again." She shrugged. "That's how I see it." Of course she didn't feel like pointing out that the only human owner she had ever liked was dead. That was irrevelant and had no impact on her point of view whatsoever... No.

Stellar slowly followed Indigo. He smiled at the mention of his name. He waltzed out of his cover. "Yup, I'm Stellar." He spoke up, giving Indigo a friendly lick. He smiled. He seemed to be the only... Smiling one there, except Indigo, but he knew that smile was fake. He wiped off his ear, still looking around. "It looks like we have new residents of the forest. Unless the Twolegs come back..." He smirked. 'Twolegs never come back,' he thought, still grooming himself. He turned his head to bite his back. He remebered running away.
"Oh, yes," he said, licking his leg. "The catfish." He chuckled softly. Then he heard something. A rustle. He dropped into a low crowch. 'Where are you?' the tom thought as he opened his mouth. The smell wafted in, and he continued on. He stopped, the mouse lifting his head. Stellar pounced, quickly taking the rodent's life without much hesistation. He carried the mouse back. "Uhm... Dinner?" He sunk his teeth in, then realized how rude it was to eat before someone. He pulled his teeth back out, and looked at Indigo. "Hungry?" He pushed the mouse over slightly. He motioned with his head back to the brush. "I can get another if I get hungry enough," he said, sitting on his haunches and licking his chest.

It was taking too long... they definantly were'nt coming back, but he couldn't bring himself to accept it. he felt his eyes begining to wate,r but NO, he wouldn't cry. He could not cry! There were two girls, and a guy here, he could'nt have them thinking he was soft.
He decided to accept the fact that they weren't coming back... at leats not right this second. He couldn't sit here all day either, it was too cold. He didn't respond, but he heard the conversation between the two cats. He turned to speak, but cringed when he saw the cat kill the mouse. "You... You eat it? just like that? ...No more... Canned cat food... so delcious, and made already...." he said, his eyes glazing over. He would have to hunt, his father was right. "I always used to hunt for fun... Oh god... this isn't happening!" he said, turning around again feeling nasous.
After a few minutes, he got himself together... "Ok... I'm alright... this is all just new, and too much... um... Hello Stellar, I'm Tamar. It really is a pleasure to meet you all and i thank you for trying to help me feel welcome... and and I'm sorry if i offended any of you at first..." he said, glad to get that off his chest. "Now... is there any place warmer then this? I'm freezing my arse off."

Storm was about to open her mouth and reply to Tamar, pupils narrowing slightly as she paused. Her little nose twitched, whiskers following as the scent of another cat wafted towards her. God, wasn't she attracting a crowd...Ears flicked as the she-cat turned her head to Indigo, soon spotting another cat quite close by. Another tabby, but a brown one. She watched him closely with her green eyes, seeing how he was reacting. He seemed to know Indigo, this Stellar fellow, from how he licked the ginger cat.
Tail flicked as she raised her behind, giving a small bow to the other tom-cat. "Hello Stellar, t'name's Storm." Her tone wasn't harsh anymore, but still a little rough around the edges despite being softer to her. It amazed her, seeing the tom catch a mouse. She had only ever seen one before, out of the window in her home. It looked rather...horrid to her, but as the tom called it dinner, it must be eatable. Giving a small smile to the tom, she turned her head back to the now calmer Tamar. He seemed a nice cat underneath, and didn’t mind his outburst anymore. “Oh, and Tamar, I’m sorry if I seemed rude earlier. I guess we were both a little…stressed.” A smirk replaced the smile as she gave a very quiet giggle to herself, feeling a little shy around a large group of cats.
Deep down though, despite the friendly atmosphere around her, she desperately wanted to go home. It was only down the street after all, but…Storm knew the human wouldn’t answer the door for her. Plus, scar paining her a little in the cold, she was reminded about Mystery too. She’d just have to move on, right?

Stellar bowed a little. "Pleasure to meet you, Storm. And Tamar. Hunting isn't that bad... Once you get used to it. It's a little bloody here and there, sometimes you even get a few cuts, but, if you work hard enough, you get a mouse." Stellar pushed the mouse around. He looked at Indigo, who he was expecting to say something, it wasn't very common for her to be as silent as she was.
"There's the brush, and the forest. It's much warmer there. I really want to get of this road. The smoke..." He gasped jokingly. He motioned to the forest, then looked at Tamar. "Take your pick. I can do some hunting wherever we go. We need to eat." He got up and scracted behind his ear. He wanted to poke Indigo, just to have something to do. But she might take it as flirting, and then the whole thing would start...
Though Stellar did like Indigo. That was why he was hunting for her and all that... But if he told her that, what would happen? He didn't want to take the risk. Though at the same time he did. Indigo knew he was jealous when they saw Sky. But how did that affect their relationship? Stellar had to many things on his mind. What with the new cats and all... And hunting. But, if they baecame friends it wouldn't be too bad. Tamar seemed fun to be around, so did Storm, and he knew Indigo was, too. But how would Stellar get his point across? He loved Indigo, but that wasn't something you say to someone as soon as you meet them, but what if Tamar...
Stellar shook his head quickly.

He stood, a new pep in his step. "Oh hell, lets go in the forest! maybe you can give me some pointers on hunting... I mean, I can hunt, but to tell the truth, I suck." he said, jerking his head in the direction of the forest. "Though... i don't think I'm hungry... seeing you kill that mouse kinda took away my appetitie... i have to get used to this wild cat sh- stuff" he said. As he began walking off he playfully tapped Storms nose with his tail.
"C'mon Stellar, I'll race you?! Lets get the blood flowing!" he said.
He winked at Indigo, then looked away quickly realizing what he did. It looked like Stellar had a little crush on her, but maybe it was just Tamar over analzying things. She was hot... no... hot wasnt what you told girls... its that otehr word... pretty? No. It was beautiful yes, she was beautiful. he could see why stellar would have a crush on ehr if he was going just by looks.
He gave one more longing glance to the street, "Time to move on." he whisered to himself, before grinning at Stellar one last time then bounding off, slipping on some ice but gaining his balance easily, he ran to the forest, looking back to see if Stellar was coming.

Stellar nodded quickly to the she-cats before following Tamar. "I bet you'll win. But, erh, no tricks, alright? Indigo played enough of those on me." He laughed quickly before bounding after the blue tom.
So now he had another friend. Stellar was happy. He didn't really have amny friends in his kit hood, so he was happy. He sprang here and there after Tamar. He had been here before, so he raced ahead of Tamar.
"I was here with Indigo, but I don't it all that well. We'll have to help each other... I don't want to get lost." He thought over the events that had happened. First he met Indigo, then he took her fishing, but before that he got tricked by her... That she-cat. And then he met Sky. Then Indigo left, and Stellar followed. Then they came here. And this all happened in one day. Stellar found that amzing, but easy to believe.
Stellar's thoughts misted away, and he focused on the path ahead of him. He walked down it with a spring in his step, happy to have another friend [as I have said many times.]
