Amber The ebony one with golden eyes
Ebony paws stepped lightly on the fallen leaves, her darkness standing out from the shades of gold. Although the optics that lay upon her mask match, they had a slight tint of silver from the dusk moon. She silently jumped over a log in front of her, and as she did so, she thought she heard the russle of leaves beside her. Peering around an old oak, she thought she spotted a bright burst of snow.
Snow? It's not winter yet! She squinted her 20/20 eyes, just to make sure that's what she saw. Relaxing as the figure moved, she realized it was a cat. She trotted over on light paws, attempting to frighten the cat by jumping out. Although she didn't know him, he looked young, and it would be fun to scare him. Amber loves to jump out at others, as if they were best friends even if they'd just met.
This cat was beautiful! Pelt being cleaned nicely, solid white. His orbs were round and a pure dark pink, with a lighter pink on the inside. His tail was fairly short, and he had medium long legs. His mask gave away his age. He was definately younger than her, but not by much. Amber was about two, and this cat looked one, maybe one season over. She was definately interested in meeting this brute.
She stopped when she was two tail-lengths away; raising her hackles and rippling her haunches, she readied herself to jump. Soaring through the air she went, Grraaaarrr!! Her voice was quiet, but not as quiet as a whisper, she didn't want it to sseem like an attack. Her paws landed with a thud on his back, claws sheathed. She rolled quickly off him, afraid to hurt him, or even herself.
Hey there kitty cat, what your name? Narrowing her eyes in a sweet way, and blinking her eyeslashes, she tried to look pretty. She could feel a furmessed up along her shoulder, and she swiftly fixed it with a flick of her tongue. Gazing into his pools, her gold with his red, it felt good. She didn't know about this cat, but her heart almost fluttered as she spoke, and let alone see him.

It was a dark and breezy night when Haven Frozenpool decided to have a spontaniuos midnight stroll. He found it hard to sleep that night, which was unusual because he always slept relatively well, and needed something to do. Anything would be nice...Maybe a she-cat! Anything to take my mind off- He bit his lip. Thinking about his friend and how she just dissapeared like that was hard for him to take. He had developed feelings for the she-cat in such a short amount of time...he didn't want to think about her any more.
Scanning the black surroundings with his pink-ruby orbs, he noticed the harsh contrast between his pelt and the forest. Opening his mouth to taste the scents around him, he tasted no cat just brush, leaves, and darkness. No being very cautious of the dark abyss before him, he made as mush noise as he wanted.
Slightly placing his pink paw pads on some orange, silver, moonlit leaves theyy crunched underneath him. Laughing lightly he was about to continue his meaningless walk when a sudden noise came from a fallen old log behind him. Turning around, bewildermant clouding his orbs, he saw nothing...just black. Then something came from the darkness. First a beautiful chime of a soft growl it seemed, then a petite black feline body to match.
The feline's body soared through the air and forced Haven's body to the ground. Fear was not what he felt, but interrest. The cat had lept at him with no sign of attack, claws sheathed. As she rolled off of his body he turned onto his white stomach and focused his eyes to make out the appearance of his new visitor. The moon hit her ebony pelt so brilliantly, she looked like a feline goddess spirit of the night. Her orbs were filled with sheer excitment, as were Haven's to the perfect beauty standing before him. Still lying on his stomach, he lifted his head and cocked it to the side, interrested.
As the she-cat spoke Haven's fur stood on end, she actually decided to speak first. Haven was so used to having himself strike up a conversation with the she-cats that he almost pounced on the other cat with joy. He slightly bowed his head in repect toward the femme and chuckled sincerely as she batted her eyelashes over her pure golden orbs. Am I a lucky cat or what! Haven smiled, showing his white teeth that matched his white fur. "Well the names Haven, Haven Frozenpool at your service. May I ask what a lovely cat like yours name is?" Haven mewed sweetly, narrowing his eyes charmingly aswell.

Amber Nightfall The ebony one with golden eyes
Amber dipped her head politely, acknowledging the brute in front of her. He was quite young, yet very much mature than most others she knew. Well nice to meet you Haven; I am Amber Nightfall. Her voice was soft, there was no reason to be loud, it would just disturb others who were trying to rest. You look very young, yet mature for your age. How old are you? She was curious to knew. He looked about four seasons old, maybe six.
She took her golden eyes off him, almost embarassed by her question. Shuffling her feet, she looked to the ground. Cool winds rippled her fur, catching leaves, and blowing branches with it. It felt nice, for, it was a humid night and Amber felt sticky and hot. She opened her mouth in a sweat, and closed her eyes in relief as another breeze blew by.
Clouds started rolling in, the sky darkened, Amber wondered if a storm was going to start soon. Lightning flashed across the sky, and 13 seconds later thunder crashed between the clouds. At least her quiestion was answered.
We better find some shelter. Right as Amber spoke, raindrops started pouring down on their heads. Amber flattened her ears in disgust, and currled her banner beneath her stumach. She darted around the trees and undergrowth, searching for any sign of a den. Not far off there was a badger den, they could check in there to see if it was clear.
The sweet scent of rain filled the air, making the badger scent untracable, and left the two cats standing in the rain. Crap, that was our only hope. I don't know of any other place where we could stay. And I'm not risking my life to check for badgers in this den. She shook her head as she said it, in a way that looked like she was disapointed, which she was.
Hissing in misbelief, she carried on, wanting to find shelter as soon as possible. A light bulb went off in her head, the old hollow log! She raced back in the direction they had first been. As they appraoched the hollow log, she found it to be empty, and only one trickle of water in it. She motioned for Haven to follow her in, and hoped he trusted her with this.

"Amber, huh? Thats a sweet name." Smiling sweetly, he let the soft sound of his voice drift into the quiet night. Laughing quietly at her evasive action to her youth question, Haven cocked his head to a side and looked to the black femme. "No need to be embarassed. Simple question deserves a simple answer, right? I'm a year old, turning two next summer, but believe me when I say I definently don't feel like a new adult cat." Haven rolled his ruby eyes teasingly. Using his dark ruby orbs now, he looked over his visitor. She didn't look old at all...maybe about two years young.
The air around them became breezy and the scents around them turned into moist, musky ones. Haven wasn't really that hot, but his short white pelt did stick to his pink skin. Haven opened his mouth to speak again, but was interrupted by a large flash of light and then the loud crash of thunder as it rolled through the clouds. Nodding his head to Amber's plan, the rain started to pour down onto the cats' vulnerable once dry backs.
Heaving himself from his lying state, he followed after Amber, trying hard to make out her body from the background. "There's a badger den somewhere close if you want to-" Haven started through the rain, but saw that Amber was already on it. Smiling, he watched after the ebony cat. "If you want I could check for you-" yet again Amber was already on it. She had an idea and Haven had no problem with following after her. With his limp acting up again, he winced as he raced after her.
Sucking the pain in, he continued until he ran at her side. With his ears perked in the direction Amber dissapeared in he realized she moved swiftly into the old log. Seeing her golden eyes flash toward him, he dipped his head and slowly limped his way into the log. "Great idea Amber!" he mewed softly as he moved deeper into the log. Standing perfectly still, he waited for Amber to take her position first so then he would do the same. As she did, Haven layed his body next to hers, both of their pelts dripping wet. Another round of lightning and thunder filled the sky and both cats' orbs brightened up. Letting a deep sigh escape his lips, he couldn't help but be quiet next to a perfect she-cat as Amber.
Why waste any time? Who knows how long this could last? Looking over the black cat's body he saw a tuft of fur out of place on her shoulder blade and couldn't resisit licking it down for her. Smiling apologetically just in case she felt uncomfortable, he decided to speak now. "So what where you doing out here so late at night? I mean I doubt you anticipated getting a shower, heh heh" Haven chuckled and licked his pink paw pad to clean his face. Listening to what Amber had to say, his ears picked up...he picked up the slightest sound of something near-by. What was it?
Opening his mouth to catch other scents, beside the aroma of his companion that laid next to him, he caught the faint scent of...A badger! Haven let out a low hiss and tensed his muscles. Sliding up instinctively a little closer to the opening then Amber was, he wanted nothing to happen to her. "Amber...do you scent that? What do you smell?" Haven mewed softly now, more cautious and turned his eyes to the femme, caution swirling in the center of his orbs. OOC: If you don't like the thing with the Badger, i can change it, I mean but the title is in for some d.a.n.g.e.r. =D let me know, k!

[its ok, i mean, i had something else planned, but this is fine, or we could do both.] Amber The ebony one with golden eyes
The ebony fae grinned to herself as Haven spoke, and she started to get slower as she saw his limp. Glancing up at the dark sky, she spotted a few stars dappled across in a pattern. She wondered to herself what those stars were, and why they were there. But she didn't question it for long, soon they were at the log, and she desperately climbed inside. Yeah, that's what I guessed. I'm two now, and i was born in the Spring.
Amber settled down comfotably, and waited for Haven to do the same. Once they were both comfortable, she opened her mouth, ready to speak. But the brute spoke first. No, I wasn't counting on the rain falling, or at least so soon. I didn't even know it was suposed to fall tonight. Why were you out?
Amber was disrupted by the quick and frantic quistion escaping the albino's mouth. The worry in his eyes gave away that he was scared, but about what? Amber soon found out. Opening her mouth cuatiously, she caught the scent of a female badger, and two kits at her side. Amber gasped, but quickly silenced herself. She had guessed Haven already knew, for, he turned to her, and asked her if she had smelled it. Yes she whispered oh-so-quietly.
Thunder crashed through the clouds, as lightning struck the ground at the same moment. Amber jumped in her spot, the golden optics in her mask widening in fright. She motioned with her banner to sneak out the other way. Maybe if they got away they could find somewhere else to stay the night, Amber stood up and stretched her legs quickly. She had no idea of where the badger was, but only that it wanted them for a midnight snack.
Badgers dont have such a great eyesight, so Amber and Haven were lucky it was dusk. Although Haven's white pelt stood out, there was always Amber there to cover it up. Amber smiled as she thought about herself so close to the cat beside her. Her heart beat raced as she glanced to her side; her eyes narrowed and body relaxed as she saw his perfect face. Amber had just et this cat, but she felt as if she'd known him for centuries; and the worst part is, she was falling in love with him.
The badger must have caught sight of them, because it was lumbering their way, slowly but surely. His beady little eyes lay precisely on Haven's neck, and Amber rounded to the tom's other side, just in case. She felt the black orbs feeling her over, looking for the meatiest part of her body, ready to rip into it with its razor sharp claws.
Amber shuddered in horror as she imagined the badger looming over her, plucking her furs out one by one, causing her a slow and painful death. Heat waves flew off her, and she hoped Haven couldn't tell she was scared. But at the same moment, she felt safe with him, and almost wanted him to know. Just because she was so selfish, and she just wanted to hear his voice, and feel his reassurance. She shyly glanced over to him, having no guess as to what he was looking at, let alone thinking of.

"I-I couldn't sleep so I made my way out here. Haven's voice stuttered as he tried to answer the fae's question and try to scent where the threat was, all at the same time. Arching his back slightly in a defensive position next to the femme, he sighed in disgust that the threat of the oncoming badger was real and not his imagination as Amber whispered in agreement to the fowl scent. As a beam of treachorous lightning whipped the ground not too far away from the frightened cats, Haven felt Amber leap slightly to the noise. Haven looked over the ebony femme to make sure she was alright and saw she had gestured for them to escape out the back.
Nodding, he kept his muzzle open to catch any other scents and maybe even find the where-abouts of the beast. Haven nudged Amber softly on the flank to reassure her that everything was going to be alright. Why was he so caught up with this new cat? Sure he had met up with other she-cats, but never did he feel so bound to one such as he did now to Amber.
He wanted to be near her and keep her safe. He snarled inwardly at the thought of the badger laying it's filthy, murderous claws on her pelt. It's as plain as day, I guess. I'm falling in love with her... Haven kept a straight face as he thought this. He didn't want any emotions to leak, he didn't know if Amber had started feeling the same way.
Suddenly the badger was only a few fox lengths away, two kits stumbling at her side. Watching the badger persisitenly, Haven snarled a little too loudly at the fact that the monster was sizing Amber up. Almost shocked by the tom's aggressive dispositin, the badger locked eyes with Haven and the albion cat almost felt relief to know he was looking at Amber no more. Digging his claws into the ground, he bared his teeth which looked two times menacing with the lightning that broke through the sky.
Haven let a sigh leave his mouth and he felt Amber's body tense next to him. I want to keep her safe...from..anything. Haven widedned his ruby eyes to the thought. He really did want to keep her safe and he turned to face the golden orbed she-cat. "We're going to make it through this ok, Amber Her name just flowed off his tongue and he smiled sweetly toward her.
Facing the badger again, it had gotten closer now and gestured for AMber tto start to step back slowly. As Haven's paws did the same, he naver sheathed them...just in case. "Ok, lightning seems to destract the beast for nly a short time, the next one that hits make a run for it to the east. I have a den there. Haven mewed quiely, but was sure she could hear.
Exhaling he stepped back two steps to get even with Amber's body. He stood about a few centimeters taller and he looked to Amber's petite body, focusing on her eyes. Quickly licking her ear, as a quick and subtle sign of affection, he smiled at her and waited for the moment to dash. OOC: Sure sure lets do them both, it'll be fun =D

Amber The ebony one with golden eyes
The lightning struck the ground a second after Amber snatched a glance at Haven. His thin bodice, stern and focused red eyes, and his confidence. Amber almost colapsed by his perfectness. But she didn't focus on that for long, she darted sideways, having Haven following her. The badger had no clue that they had left, and was stunned by the bright light in the sky.
You lead the way, I have no idea where we are going. She dropped back a tail-length, letting Hacen take the lead. They wove through the forest, blind by the darkness around them. Luckily, the dawn sun would be rising not far off.
Amber realized she was growing tired, and falling behind Haven. Her mouth was open in a small pant, and her stumach was cramping up from nor eating, but she pushed herself forward. Righ when she thought this run would never end, Haven froze, she dropped to the ground, her eyes already drowsily closing.
Are we there Haven? It felt so right to be talking to him, to be calling his name. She stared up at him with her puppy dog eyes wide, cravy his body around hers. Her stumach growled, and she looked helplessly around. There wouldn't be any prey out in the rain, she would probably have to catch a fish. She sighed, but heaved herself up and stretched her tired muscles. She stalked grumpily away, not wanting to be in the rain any longer.
She approached the stream wearily, careful to not slip or run into the badger again. She had no idea if Haven had followed her or not, she had just walked away not caring if he did or not. A golden and silver scaled fish rose to the surface, looking for algi to eat. Amber swing her paw down, so fast it looked like it didn't even happen. Because of the shadows of the night, Amber didn't have to focus on keeping her shadow off the water, which was much easier.
The fish flew into the air as Amber hit it with her paw. Quickly she caught it, pulling it out of the water and killing it with a bite to the neck. She started eating it right then and there. She devoured it in a few ravenous bites. She got to her feet again, to catch a fish for Haven. But as she dashed her paw in, a strong current came along. Amber shrieked as she got pulled into the icy water. The fur along her spine stood up, but soon it wasn't even noticable, after she got soaked. Her head went under, although the stream wasn't that deep, there was a strong current, and Amber knew why. If she didn't get out soon, she would be pulled down the waterfall.
As the thought came to her, she cried loudly, desperately wanting Haven to hear her. The water rushed forward, another surf pulling her under. Tears wanted to stream from her eyes, but she couldn't bring herself to cry, afraid of emberasing herself in front of Haven, if he did come.
OOC: ok! this thread is gonna be awsome!

As Haven tensed his muscles, anticipating the complete run for it, the time came were lightning ripped through the night sky. Feeling Amber dash off first, Haven turned high-tail and ran after her. Each of his lean limbs mimicing the fae infront of him. With a heavy, nervous chuckle of relief he quikened his pace and ran up to Amber's flank. Haven nodded to Amber's command and bounded smoothly infront of her. Ruby orbs scanned the quickly passing surroundings, as the two cats swerved through trees and dashed over puddles.
With his scenses still on high alert, he noticed Amber was falling behind. She was tired and so was he. The high of the near death experience ebbed away to reveal the real stress behind the frantic cats. Hold on there Amber, we're almost there Haven opened his mouth only to taste how dry it was. Scenting around he smelled water, but no prey. All were hiding from the storm, which the cats should be doing aswell. Fish. Fish would be great. As the scent got stronger he slowed to a trot and then stopped, only to smile sweetly as the ebony femme fell to the ground. "Almost there Amber, but a break would be ok too."
Realizing that Amber knew exactly what she wanted, Haven followed after her toward the stream, As the midnight feline stationed herself in a waiting postion as the fish swam right into her claws. Haven walked a few feet away to lay on his stomache and get a quick, refreshing drink of water. The water was oddly cold, and he guessed it was because winter was on its way. Watching Amber adoringly, he couldn't help but let out some laughter at how quickly she tore the fish apart. "Someone must've been really hungry...I almost feel bad for the fish."
Haven shook his head in amusement and closed his eyes to listen to the sounds around him, the drizzling rain, the rushing water, Amber's every heart beat. Then a splash. As his ruby orbs flew open, he looked in the direction Amber should have been and she wasn't. Jumping to his paws he ran down the river side, frantically looking. His eyes darting on the surface of the rushing water.
Then a loud shriek hit his alert ears. The noise came from furhter down, the stream had picked her up and fored her down stream. " No no no no no! Amber hold on!" Haven didn't even think twice about what he would do next. A wrenching feeling twisted at his heart, how could he let this happen? His haunches pumped beneath every powerful sprint got him closer to the bobbing black fae.
His breath was shallow and harsh, his heart beat frantically. He had to get to her before the fall did. As he came up on her, Haven pounced into the river. A white head finally broke through the surface, his muscles cramped for a split second as the frozen water washed around him. "AMBER!" Calling out her name, as he kept his head above water, he saw hers.
Pumping every muscle within his body, the albino cat went with the flow finally to grab hold of the scruff on Amber's neck. It was hard to pull her in his mouth, so smoothly he placed his body under hers and held her huzzle over his shoulder. "Amber? Amber, can you hear me? No sure if the femme was still conscious, he locked his orbs on a near-by fallen branch coming in their direction, the falls not to far off. His eyes widened in sheer fear as the abyss of vanishing water came closer and closer.
He didn't are about himself right now, it was all about saving Amber's life. If he could just get her to reach that branch, his attmpt would be all that worth it. Of course he did want to live to spend his life with the fae. With a goal set furmly in his mind, he lifted Amber's muzzle using his, so she could breathe. With all his back-up strength he pulled himself to as close to the side of the stream aspossible...waitning for the time they meet the branch, or the falls.
OOC: Um not sure what you want to happen..sooo your turn =D

Her scream disapeared as she went under the surfing water. She tried hard to stay within reach of the surface, in case she ran out of water, but the water was strong. She thought she hah heard Haven's voice, and she pulled herself to the top, realizing he was in the water beside her. Haven... She whispered, her voice soft, and rough from the water in her throat.
She gazed up at him, not taking her golden orbs away, afraid she would never see him again. But she had to look away, just for a second. As she did so, her eyes moved ahead, seeing how far away from the falls they were. It seemed as if they had about one minute to move. A branch was ahead, and if Haven was thinking the same as her, they would catch onto it, hauling themselves out.
The albino was beside her, and she almost felt relaxed. Although there a waterfall not far ahead, she felt good about this. Amber felt as if she and Haven could conquer anything together, and as if this was a breeze.
She whiped her head around, bringing her back to time. The branch was coming up now, not a fox-length away. Amber readied herself, her paws getting tired from all the paddling. She took a breath, and then lunged. Her paw hit the branch, causing it to rustle, but not move completely. A scream rippled through her as the stream rushed on, bringing her with it. Her claws scraped the leg, and a loud screech became.
With her optics wide, she let go, knowing it was no good holding on any longer. She glanced backwards, and spotted the fall, there was a rock sticking up and out of the water, maybe she could grab a hold of that. Haven, if you can, get out! Climb onto the log and get out! I have an idea, but I may need some help.
Reminds me of the times we shared.

Finally realizing that the black she-cat next to him was conscience and well, well as any cat would be if they were about to fall over a fall, and relaxed just a bit. Growing tired he let the stream do the rest of the moving as the cats got closer and closer to their only chance out of the situation. Practically breathless, he took a reassuring look at Amber and saw a glimpse of hope in her eyes that echoed through his. 'What a cat...' he smiled.
Ripping himself back to the full realization that the end was near, he understood that Amber would try to jump out first. Feeling her body next to his ready herself, she finally lundged out of the sharp water with all her strength but did not grap the branch. "Shoot! Amber are you ok!?!" he exclaimed over the water. Then her milotic voice rushed into his ears over the oncoming falls.
"Haven, if you can, get out! Climb onto the log and get out! I have an idea, but I may need some help." She shouted over the thunder, sounding almost more breathless then Haven himself. "Amber I can't leave you in here alone." and with that he swallpwed practically a gallon of water. The current dragged him under, but then spit him back up. Opening his ruby orbs again, he had little time to think. 'If I can get out, there may be a way I can save her. Im no help in the water. Shes a clever cat, I bet she has a plan.' gulping away his sudden fears of failure he looked to the ebony she-cat he had started to honor, and yowled over the noise.
"Alright Amber, I'll pull myself out, but please tell me you have a plan!" almost sounding a little too desperate, he to lundged for the branch, claws unsheathed and got a good grip onto it. Panting uncontrollably he pulled himself out, each limb stationed on a branch. Then he pounced for the shore and he hit the ground running. Not stopping for anything in the world, his world at that moment seemed to be....'Amber...'
"I'm coming Amber, what can I do!?!" he yowled agian as he kept up with her body. Hoping that everything would work out in the end. No, not hoping, praying that he'd be able to save the cat he wanted to get to know better and maybe even spend the rest of his forest-dwelling life with. She seemed to be his only escape from lonliness and he could not imagine living with himself knoing that he was not strong enough to save this wonder of a cat. OOC: I am soo Sorry Speedy!!

OOC: No prob!
The cold water that had seeped deep into her coat seemed even colder now. The thought that her life could end in a minute sent a shiver up her spine. But she shook her head, realizing that if she was going to try to get out, she had to stay positive.
Here comes the rock. Her golden orbs were slits now as she pinpointed exactly where she was going to jump. Alright... heeerrrreeee Iiiiii go! Right on the go she jumped strait out of the water. But this time she was smarter, she had jumped closer, realizing that it was harder to jump in the water. She landed expertly on the rock, the only problem was that it was sharp. It pinned her paw right on a pressure point, and Amber had the urge to cry.
But she had to focus, she could cry later. Possibly on Haven's shoulder... Amber gritted her teeth. She had just met this cat, but it seemed as though she had already fallen in love with him. How did he feel about her? She couldn't know. What if he only felt the need to be friends, and nothing more? It would break Amber's heart...
She looked over at his focused eyes, and realized that he had asked her a question that she had yet to answer. Taking a deep breath she explained her plan. I'm going to attempt to jump from this rock onto the land, got it? Now here's your part in the plan. You will need to grab me as I land, to make sure I don't slip backward and fall back into the stream. OK? She was worried that Haven would think that she could jump far, because of her attempts at her jumps in the water. The truth is that she was really quite good at jumping, but she needed to be on a flat surface, or at least something that isn't moving.

Dashing ahead of Amber now, he stopped where Amber's eyes seemed to focus. The point where he stopped on the bay was directly across from a jagged rock that struck out of the ragging water, and not to far away was the fifty-foot drop falls. 'Amber's planning to jump on the rock...smart girl' He breathed out a slight chuckle of relief when he finally understood the femme's plan.
Haven couldn't help but wonder what he could do to help her. He only waited for a split second when he saw the drenched, petite body of the cat he had felt so strongly for, finally jump out of the water and on que landed on the rock. The sudden jump to the rock seemed to pain Amber's front paw, and Haven had to control himself from not jumping in to get her. The ladt thing he wanted to see was this cat in any pain.
Did she feel the same way though? Sure he saw the way he'd look at him from time to time, but did it mean anything? If the black fae ended up not feeling the same affection, what would the Albino tom do next. Crawl under a rock and die possibly. He could probably force himself to understand why she wouldn't feel the same way. He was a feline freak after all, most femmes thought he was charming, but could never get passed his exterior. And usually he'd shove them aside and be on his way, but Amber was different, and he knew it...
"Alright!..." Haven bellowed to the stationed she-cat. He knew she could jump, but with her messed up paw, who knows what could happen. It seemed like luck was against them since they met. He took a few steps closer to the shoreline and burried his pads into th moist ground, ready for Amber. 'This is it...' grinding his teeth, his eyes watch her body muscles' flex and then she was up in the air. Her jump seemed a bit wobbly but she made a good distance. Then Amber's body hit the water not to far away from Haven and he quickly leaned down to take her scruff and pull her in from the violent water.
Both of them were out and Haven fell to the floor next to Amber's tired body. "Nice jump..." he couldn't help but add some light humor. The next thing that escaped his muzzle, he didn't expect it to. "I'm glad you're ok, I-I don't know what I would have done if something happend to yo-" he broke himself off and looked to he wet paws and then to Amber's wet face. Leaning in slowly, he affectionatly licked her ear, breathed in her scent, and turned away embarrassed.

A gasp triggered through Amber's mouth, and she saw that her jump hadn't nearly been as good as she thought it would be. Her small bodice landed limply in the water, sending ripples in all directions. The splash she made hit Haven, but it didn't matter much, for both of them were soaked to the skin.
Her eyes widened when she hit the water, and was thankfully when Haven pulled her out. She felt the strength in his jaws, and how much he put toward getting her out. Does he really care about me? Or is he just being a nice guy?
She let out a sigh and collapsed on the soggy ground. She raised her head to look at the tom, he was making jokes but Amber was just too tired to laugh. A smile spread over her face as he spoke, soon becoming embarrassed. Purring as his warm tongue rasped once over her ear, and stifling a laugh as he turned away.
As if this moment could get any more embarrassing, Ditto. She smiled a bit, showing her perfect rows of ivory teeth. To ease the awkward feelings rising both in her chest and Haven's, she spoke again. Woooooohhhh! That was fun! Let's do it again! She burst out in laughter at her corny joke and jiggled around on the forest floor.
I feel like I could eat a whole badger right now, do you agree we shall get some dinner? As if she already new his answer she raised to her paws. After stretching her tired muscles she started off with a trot. With her mouth open in search of any close prey, she headed deeper and deeper into the wood. The good thing about Autumn was that all prey was out scurrying around to find food before the snowstorms of winter came along.
Amber caught the scent of a squirrel, and soon enough the golden optics spied it through a bush. The squirrel was opening a nut, its two front teeth doing all the work. The sides fell to the ground, leaving only the walnut seed ready to eat. Amber crept forward, rounding the bush quickly. The squirrel wasn't far now, but still not in jumping distance. Her paws were silent on the spongy ground even with all of the leaves on the ground. The squirrel had no sign she was there, and with all the racket the birds were making, maybe it wouldn't even hear her coming if she did step on a leaf.

Perking up a bit after Amber had spoken, he roared with laughter as Amber implied to do the horrifying scene yet again. "Let's not and say we did." He just about finished laughing. Sense of humor, that was a plus in Haven's ruby eyes. Things had indeed felt awkward but Amber cleaned it up real nicely. Licking his pink paws, that just so happened to have a few cuts on them, he then wipped his face and got up onto all fours.
The sun was rising just to show the sleep, or lack there of, that the cats had. The terror of the falls lasted more time then they expected. Dawn was coming. Breathing in the fresh air that he had took for granted, becoming quite grateful for it after choking in gallons of water, he looked to the sky to see a flock of birds making there way through it. Peering down to Amber, he couldn't help but purr at the reliquished beauty. 'What a catch...literally!' he laughed mentally at hislame excuse for a joke.
"I feel like I could eat a whole badger right now, do you agree we shall get some dinner?" Amber mewed and Haven couldn't control the growl that ran through his stomach. Smiling as the young fae got to her paws, he followed after her petite figure. 'A little late for dinner, and yet I'm ok with that.' He smiled yet again.
He was quite the happy tom, especially after meeting Amber. He had never stayed by a femme this long in a while. It was constantly a quick meeting filled with usual chit-chat when it came to femmes but he liked Amber...a lot.
Coming up deeper into the forest now, Haven watched carefully as Amber's fram sank lightly to the floor, her ebony fur brushing against the ground. Standing in interrest, he watched her in awe. The target: an unsuspecting squirrel taking its picking for hybernation. 'Poor sap...' Haven teased, and he focused in closer on Amber's muscles that rippled through her limbs, moving her smoothly across the ground.
Haven then realized that his fur would probably give him away so he shifter inaudibly behind a bush. Still wary of Amber's position, the last thin he wanted was anything else to happen Two incidents were fine by him for one day.

Purring with delight as she caught the fat squirrel, Amber motioned the bright ivory brute forward from his hidding place. You can come out now silly-head! Amber, who was still purring, darted to the side and raced toward Haven. She had left the squirrel where she'd caught it, because she had a special surprise or the sweet and loving Haven.
She hoped the albino wouldn't mind her loving a bit on him. Once the brute had returned from out of the undergrowth, she licked him on his ear. Starting from there, she coninued on. With her opts closed, her tongue rasped down his neck, and along his spine. A smile spread across her face, and she returned to where she had started.
Amber knew that Haven had fallen in love with her by this point, and if Amber felt strongly for him just as he did to her, she should show it. She kissed him a few more times, before she made herself stop. She pressed her cheek against his, and nuzzled her fragile bodice closer to his. Black and white are negitive colors, but comparing Amber to Haven was the total opposite to that. They were very close, and alike in many ways.
The affectionate femme smiled again to herself, and backed herself up. Haven... She blinked slowly, her golden eyes bright with the violet of the setting sun reflecting in them. She reopened them slowly, bringing herself closer to his. I love you. Forcing herself not to stutter, she spoke with such emotion, she felt like crying and running toward him. She smiled with such a sadness in her eyes, but the sadness was of a happiness, and it forced her to give Haven a final kiss.
He was so sweet, Amber couldn't bring herself from his face. The ambient suroundings didn't take her attention like it usually did, instead it was like a magical vortex and only surounded the breathtaking albino. She sighed and flickered the tip of her banner, motioning to him for him to follow. She retreived her prey, and realized that she wouldn't be able to eat the whole thing by herself. She smiled as sh realized what that meant. Your going to have to share with me. She smiled, but some part of her wanted to take the words back. It was awkward after what she had just come finished with, but another part of her wanted to know what he was going to say.
