Reserved for Tarragon Graceful pink pads ever so lightly pattered the ground in an arrhythmic motion. The calico tom felt at peace, relaxed and proud almost. He was happy about Tarragon. The feline seemed to be hopeless by himself, he was glad he was there to help him out when he was. Tarragon, he seemed to be very happy about him helping him out as well. 'Enough to tackle me.' The calico tom thought with a light chuckle to himself. He didn't mind, it was childish and Twilight did have that soft spot for kittens.
It wasn't like this was any problem for Twilight either. He very much enjoyed the company of others as well as lending a helping paw. Stopping in the Shire Market the calico tom turned around to see if the other feline was still following him. He hoped he wouldn't get lost, it would be very bad if he did. 'I can almost imagine him now.' The calico tom thought with a slight twitch of his stubbed tail.
Walking into one of the dark ally ways the calico tom hopped up onto one of the silver cans and forced the lid off. It crashed to the ground with a loud clattered causing the tom to jump slightly, his ears laid back on his head the loud noise sensative to his ears. "Oops..." He muttered softly before shaking his head and smiled a little as he started to snoop around in the trash can searching for somethign to eat.

Tarragon examined closely as Twilight searched for something to eat. He sat right below the trash can, staring at the male calico cat with curiosity. When Twilight dropped the trash can lid, Tarragon launched himself into the can, out of fright Ouch…loud noise… he thought, grimacing. He looked over at his feline friend, who had been rummaging through the trash can. He immediately fallowed what Twilight was doing, and started to look through the trash for something eatable. What is this stuff…? Tarragon thought while poking around at the trash. Non of this is possibly edible… He fumbled over the trash, not knowing what to stick in his mouth and what not too. The hopeless tuxedo cat tried desperately to dive deeper into the trash to look for something more fit to be eaten. But in the end, he only got covered with more garbage. Again he looked over at Twilight, then back at his feet. He was still hungry and now was covered in junk, and hated the feeling. Tarragon jumped out of the can, frustrated. He could now feel the pain he had felt earlier, and was afraid the man had done permanent damage to his system. Tarragon looked at himself; he was disgusting and covered with waste. But he did not want to lick himself clean, he was too afraid of the aftertaste. He sighed, sad about his failure, then looked at Twilight search for food. Ugh…I hate this….I hope he shares... He whined inside his head.
OOC: Ugh that was probably the worst post I’ve ever posted….sorry for the late reply.

Green orbs glanced up at the black and white tom with him and smiled. Glad he didn't get lost. He looked at the tom for a moment before digging back into the trash can. His different colored ears flicked at the slightest of noises he could hear Tarragon make. "Tarragon right?" He questioned the male, making sure he remembered his name. "Mind if I just call you Tarra?" He questioned again this time looking up at the male with a smile. He liked to give other cats nicknames, it showed a bond of closeness, and Twilight didn't like to feel too formal or anything with someone who he consisted a friend. Even if he had only just met this cat.
He watched Tarra in his search for food, not surprised to see him unsuccessful. He was sure Tarra was used to the canned or bagged stuff Humans fed to them. He most likely was not used to human food, let alone scraps. Poking his nose back into the trash can, the calico male picked around in the silver can until he came to find a partly eaten chicken, still good.
"Hey Tarra, I found something." He said as he dug deeper into the silvery can to fish out the partly eaten chicken. With a little trouble the calico tom pulled the chicken out of the can and dropped it onto the ground. "Probably the best thing here that we can find." He grinned a little hopping down from the can's edge. "Lets eat, shall we?" He grinned before dipping his head down and ripped off a piece of the cooked but now cold and slightly rotten chicken. Hell, when you lived on the streets who cared about a little mold or fungus?

Tarragon watched Twilight with curiosity as the calico cat nibbled on the moldy chicken. He had recently been called “Tarra” and wasn’t to found of the new nickname; for Tarragon thought is was a girl’s name. But he didn’t fuss or tell his feline friend this, to afraid of losing him. He walked towards the tom slowly, worried that the rotten chicken sitting next to him might jump up and crawl away. Now next to Twilight he sits himself on the ground and sniffs at the food. Appalled from the smell his head jerks up, and takes a step away. What a horrid smell! he thinks, grimacing. What is that food that Twilight found? Tarragon wasn’t used to this. He was a spoiled kitty when he was a house pet, and was only fed the highest quality of foods. He hardly had a breath of bad air. It was a total shocker for the clueless tuxedo cat. Currently, his hunger was killing him and, drove by starvation; he bit a chunk out of the chicken. Tarragon swallowed it slowly, trying to get every last of its nourishment. Again, disgusted by its taste, he almost spits it back up; barley managing to hold it down. However, once more driven by hunger, he takes another bite. Not worrying about the horrible taste anymore.

Twilight for a moment watched his new friend and chuckled. "I was the same when I first got here, but this is about as good as it gets. No more bagged or canned food or fresh scraps from the table." The rare male calico said, flicking his miss-matched colored ears. His green orbs turned back to the old, dried out and cold chicken. Twilight, although it was not the best of food, he did enjoy chicken, always had since he had been given his fist piece. His old owners didn't give him many table scraps but when they did he made sure to eat them, it was after all a treat. He never did like that disgusting bagged food, however he did like the canned food. He also got a lot of tuna, every time Jesse would make a tuna sandwich he was sure to get some as well.
Licking his lips, the calico tom ripped off another piece of the chicken breast. "Mm, so, Terra where did you come from?" The calico questioned the black and white feline. They where friends now, and it was always good to get to know your friends well. Twilight was nothing but friendly, and he didn't mind sharing a little bit about himself, however if he didn't want to talk about it he wouldn't push it.

“Mn, so, Terra where did you come from?” the tuxedo cat heard the calico question. Tarragon, now tasting the horrid after-taste of the moldy chicken, felt a little sick. He slowly stepped away from the chicken for a third time. He was still hungry, but his stomach wouldn’t let him eat anymore. Then he turned to Twilight, to answer his question. “Where did I come from?” Tarragon looked over at his paws, thinking. “Umm…I was a house pet as long as I can remember…” He grimaced, a combination of the stomach pain and back pain. That evil man… I swear he did some serious damage to my spine…
He turned to the calico tom, completing his answer. ”As far as were I came from I guess my parents,” He stated with a smile humor always keeps friends close right? he thought silently to himself. “My father wasn’t the nicest Tom around, but I forgive him, however.” He smiled again at Twilight. “So, umm Twilight how was your house pet life? Were did you come from?” Again, his stomach bubbled up. The Tuxedo looked down at his paws, to hide the pain of food poisoning, probably. Or maybe he just wasn’t used to the taste? Ether way, he didn’t like it.

The calico tom continued to nibble on the bits of chicken he had found out of the silver colored can. It wasn't the best but it was probably one of the best things in the silvery bins. The rest where really old, moldy, and over all disgusting. Nonetheless it was something they had to live with being strays and all now. "Maybe later we could go hunting instead of dumpster diving." He told the black and white cat with a soft chuckle. 'Easy pray would be good, like some chicken in that chicken coop down by the barn not to far from here.' He thought licking his lips. He was finished with the moldy trash chicken, he didn't want to eat too much or he would indeed get sick.
As Terra told him he had been a house cat for most of his life to as far as he could remember the calico tom nodded. "Same. I was born into a house hold with a rather large but poor family. It had it's ups and downs but I really wanted to be a stray like my father. He was raised in the house but ran away to live as a stray because of the family's issues." He told Terra, licking at his paws as he gave the grayscale tom a small smile. "I miss my life as a house cat but I could never go back." He said a little lower than his first statements. His green orbs stared down at the ground, a mix of longing and hate. Jesse was the only one he really loved that was human, his girl.
Then when Terra said he had came from his parents Twilight couldn't help but laugh. "I guess that's true of us all, ne?" He continued to laugh, amused by the tom's humor. It was very true indeed, they wouldn't be here if they hadn't have come from their parents. His parents, he wondered, how was his mother, and siblings? 'Father in heaven, is everything alright up there?' He wondered his brilliant green orbs stared up to the heavens. He wondered if his father could hear him, was he watching over him? He hoped that he was.

"Maybe later we could go hunting instead of dumpster diving." The tuxedo cat heard Twilight state.“HUNTING?!” He exclaimed after the tom had finished. The word disgusted him. He loved food, but not to the point that he would have to sacrifice some one’s life for it. To him it didn’t feel right. He sighed and looked away. Maybe I just have to get used to this… He thought to himself. I don’t have a choice do I? I’m NOT a house pet anymore…
Tarragon smiled when he heard Twilight was a house cat, like him as well. It made the young tom feel closer to the calico. He had always had trouble making friends, and now knowing they had something in common; he felt better about being with him. Though, they still were very different. Tarragon listened as Twilight explained how big his family was, and it’s wealth. He remembered having a rather small family; just him the woman and the man. But wasn’t sure about their wealth. All Tarragon knew was her had been fed well, and spoiled rotten. When the calico tom stated he loved his pet life, but would never go back; Tarragon was surprised. He would die to be a house pet again. Just having a constant thought of death or starvation was horrible. But, as a house pet, you would know you were to be fed, and have a greater chance of living until tomorrow
The tuxedo tom was overjoyed when Twilight, what he thought to be his mentor in ‘stray life’ laughed at his joke. He smiled sweetly Ha…It wasn’t even that funny… he thought triumphantly.
Tarragons stomach bubbled up again. He hid he face and cringed. Then stood up and walked around the ally.” Maybe if I keep moving my stomach won’t hurt as bad..” He said softly to himself. Silently he thought No way I am going to eat ANYTING that doesn’t look right….
