I hid in the shadows the moonlight Of a chilly night illuminated, reflecting on the town Aftering meeting three other cats and getting used to the fact she was all alone again, Raven found herself wandering back toward the city. It was easier to find food in these places, and this place -- or so she heard -- was the best place to find food scraps. Her nose winkled slightly as a sudden thought occured to her; 'I hope Frost isn't here...' She closed her silver optics, imagining the pure white tom who's fur was shorter than hers and his eyes brighter than hers as they gleamed the color of the sky in the brightest of days. Raven felt her face heat up, slightly angry and slightly embarrassed. In a way he had been her first crush but he abused her trust and hurt her. In the end, she was alone, and could only count on herself.
Walking down a dark ally, the she-cat sniffed around, searching for food to eat. Her nose and eyes found a large silver can filled with scraps from the store beside. From the looks of it, it was an old mexican resturant. Raven wasn't familiar with mexican food but her humans seemed to like it when she was still living there. Carefully and quietly the feline jumped up onto the silver can's lid and scooted it ever so slightly just enough for her to get into the contents inside it. Finding left over tacos she began to eat. Oh and was it good. The meat and cheese appealed to her most. She didn't care for the mushy shell or spicy sauce and the other condiments on it. However she was too hungry to care what she ate at the moment... What is there for me to believe in? There's not a thing

OOC: Mind if Rowan snags this one?
Hoping I can run today and get away faster Than ever from here
Rowan wandered down into the more busier sector of the neighborhood. He'd spent the day quite alone, reflecting in the woods on... everything. Dapple. He needed to find her. He'd reached a final decision and he wasn't going to change his mind now. Violet was the one for him. He'd find her tomorrow as soon as he could and they'd talk and... he'd tell her how he felt. He knew it was mutual, he just knew it. Not because he was arrogant or though highly of himself - thought it could be said that he possessed an inkling of those flaws - but because they were so comfortable together, so right. She was gorgeous and sweet and just... amazing.
He'd have to explain to her about Dapple fully though. He wasn't going to hide things. There was nothing to hide. He had told Dapple he would find her, told her he loved her. But now he had met Violet. He was sure that Dapple had found someone else by now - sure that she wasn't really waiting for him. But he knew that he would never rest assured until he had found her and told her that he wasn't coming for her. Maybe they could still be friends like when they were kittens. He certainly hoped so. Whatever else had happened between them, Dapple had been his first best friend, his kitten mate if you will. She'd been his first love but that didn't have to make her his last. He sighed.
He was almost certain that he was doing the right thing. It was the almost part that kept bothering him. But he'd left the forest to get away from his problems and thoughts. He was in no mood to hunt tonight but startlingly hungry so it would have to be scavenging. He gave a wry grin, emerging from a small wooded path onto the main street. At this hour of night, not many humans could be seen - most were indoors, either sleeping away in their homes or out late in one of these buildings here. Places that served food. Exactly what Rowan was looking for.
He raised his head up a notch, sniffing the air for any scent of something good to eat. He smelt something strange and unusual - though it wasn't surprising in these parts - and began to follow it to the brink of a small, dark alley. Another scent became apparent then. Cat. Very unusual in these parts at this time. There were always quite a few cats out scrounging up some food on the streets in the late hours of the night. He took a step into the alley way but then hesitated. Some cats were territorial and Rowan had no clue what this one's reaction to him sauntering over and introducing himself would be. Frowning slightly, he stepped back. "Hello?" he called out cheerfully, giving off a small smile. "Mind if I join you?" He paused. "I'm Rowan." It seemed only polite to introduce himself.
Another night and who can say if leaving is better Than living in fear

Thinking there was not a single thing left to believe in, Tearing off a peice of mushy taco shell the she-cat licked her lips before lolling it out of her mouth. This food was spicy! 'Jeez, humans have horrible taste.' She commented, licking her lips fericely to try and ride of the spicy taste that lingered in her mouth, sending a tingling sensation all throughout her mouth, and it wasn't a kind sensation either. Her tongue was burning, like it was on fire. She needed something to drink. Looking around for any puddles of some kind she winkled her nose and fought back a soft whine, 'I shouldn't have eatten that.' She frowned before her auds drunk in the sound of an unfamiliar voice.
Startled the she-cat jumped and turned to look at the silver tabby male, the fur on her back along her spine and tail slightly puffed up from her startled. Sighing a bit relieaved, Raven gave a half-smile to the tom who cheerfully greeted her. At his question she gave a small nod, keeping silent, still unsure how to socialize with others, she felt so low and frightened. "Raven." She whispered softly to the tom as he introduced himself as Rowen Brokendaze. "Soulreaver." She added softly, her silver optics never met his as she continued to look for a water sorce, she wasn't sure what to think of the tom, he seemed nice enough, then again so did Frost... Among the crowds coming and going in the monochrome world, I bowed my head [OoC: || Sorry it's short, I'm a little museless right now. *will add header and lyrics later*]

The scent of food made Rowan realize just exactly how hungry he was but still, he wasn't about to barge over to where another cat was eating and just dig in without even asking permission, introducing himself, greeting them, and all the other niceties. so sure me for being polite, he thought sarcasticallly with an impatient eye roll as he felt his stomach growl unpleasantly. He stepped further into the dark alley, feeling curious about what lay at the far ends beyond where he could see anything. But curiosity could wait, he reminded himself, flashing a grin at the she-cat - Raven. "Pleased to meet you, Raven. The name's Rowan, Rowan Brokendaze," he replied with a grin and a wink.
Her coat blended in with the night around them, leaving her silver orbs shining like headlight beacons. In contrast, his silvery fur, though dappled in darkness, was fairly visible but his green eyes shone nowhere near as vibrantly as hers. "You have beautiful eyes," he murmured in surprise - he hadn't been able to see them very well from the alleyway entrance. He blinked upon realizing that he'd spoken aloud and gave an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry. I was just... thinking to myself," he said with another grin. Moving closer, he lowered his head to sniff at the ground. A rush of potent human scents flew up into his nose and he snorted at the acrid tang of human construction.
But there! Something smelt good. Tracing the scent to a shining silver can, Rowan bunched his muscles and leaped, landing unstably on top of the garbage can. Steadying himself quickly, he flipped the lid off, wincing as it hit the ground with a metallic bang. Crouching, he sniffed along the top of the garbage, his eyes prickling at some of the more unpleasant smells. "Aha!" he crowed upon finding the remnants of a chicken salad tossed in with everything else. Scooping up what was left of the chicken - which wasn't much at all, he sprang back down to the alley, grinning at Raven. After depositing the pieces of chicken on the ground, he glanced up at the she-cat.
"Want some? Probably the best we'll be able to find around here," he said with a laugh. Most of the human garbage was either disgusting garbage as the name suggested or weird baked foods or vegetables. Meat was a hard find - or so Rowan thought from his time on the streets. Then again, he spent most of his time closer to the woods, hunting for his food when he could. Scavenging wasn't his forte and he hoped he hadn't offended the other cat by suggesting that he had found better than she could. "I didn't mean-" he started to apologize awkwardly before stopping himself. If Raven was upset with his words, she'd let him know. No need to stir up trouble when there was none.

With only silence, filling my heart, I have lived until now, never knowing desire
The black she-cat watched the silver tabby walk over toward her closer, she could bearly see him in the dark ally light. Then again on the other paw he probably couldn't see her at all. She never liked being a solid black cat, while all these other cats where beautiful with different colors in their fur like this tom - Rowen his name was. He had a beautiful slick pelt that shined even in the darkness of the ally. Repeating his name with a wink and a grin the she-cat blinked as she felt the urge to want to giggle. Bowing her head she felt a small smile tug at the corner of her black lined lips. He was charming, she could tell that by just the way he acted toward her just now. That confident grin with a suggestive wink. Something like that, it just kind of reminded her of him. The smile her face held turned into a frown at the very though of him. While he might have not been able the see it the emotionless void in her eyes might have told him other wise. Yet, out of no where for the stangest reason the last thing she expected to hear from him was a flattering compliment. "Huh?" Her head snapped up to meet his gaze her silver orbs glittered with shock written all over her face. 'Did he just...?' She blinked the very eyes he complimented and gave a shy, uneasy smile. "T-thanks." She thanked in a soft voice. Her stomach fluttered with uneasiness but she felt she could talk to this tom. When he apologized she cocked her head to the side slightly and stiffled a soft giggle and shook her head. "It is... alright." She said slowly with a small smile as she watched the silver tabby male sniff around in the silver can beside hers. Poking her black nose back into her can she sniffed around for something else eattable for her. The loud crashing sound of a silver matalic lid caused the she-cat to jump slightly and turn to Rowan as he gave a sheepish grin. His cheerful excalmation made her raise an eye brown. 'Found something good?' She questioned hopping down from her perch to see what he found. "Sure." She smiled to him shyly as he asked her if she wanted any. Chicken, one of the greatest white meats out there. Catiously she took a piece of chicken that was perfectly sliced up into even stripes. Quietly she muched on the meat with satisfactory, boy was it good. Rowan was a very kind and pretty nice tom. Yet, she couldn't be quick to let her guard down, for Forst was also kind and very nice to her at first. "Um, thanks." She piped quietly looking up at him her silver orbs meeting his green ones. She chose to ignore him when he said he didn't mean whatever. She wouldn't question for it wasn't her place and she didn't want to ask really. Surprisingly she was getting along with him well. Not even understanding the meaning of doubt anymore,

Moon bounded across the pavement at a quick, but not too fast pace. Rawr and Vi were following close behind and she wouldn't want to accidently lose their injured friend. Looking for help could be dangerous because of all the traveling it would take, so she began to think that maybe it would be better if they left the little kitten behind in a safe place among the trees of such.
Spotting a pair of cats, she dived in between them before looking down at herself and realizing how rude that probably was. No matter she thought quickly we have a cat to help!
'Hello...'
She began uncertainly, pawing the ground before looking up. She nearly began to stare when she looked at the female, who was covered with facial scars, and then she looked over at the silver tabby, who looked younger and healthier. They were streetcats, like her and her friends.
'My name is Moon Coldbite, and these are my friends, Violet Wildflower and Rawr...'
She trailed off, since she really didn't know the other snowy-white cat's last name. Moon wondered if he even had one. It was a definite possibility. Come to think about it, she didn't know anything about this cat. Huh.
'Greencloud. Rawr Greencloud.'
She finished for her, and Moon nodded.
'Yeah, well, Rawr here was captured by the humans, so me and Vi rescued him, but he was injured. We're trying to find someone who can help, preferably not a cat named Dapple.'
She explained, glancing over at her friend Vi. She didn't really understand her friends situation or her reason to hold a grudge against Dapple, the so-called healing cat, but even she had agreed that if it would help Rawr she would do it. So if neither of these cats had any ideas they might be forced to ask Dapple, because he needed help ASAP. Just moving around could be bad for his leg.
'So... Got any ideas?'

Violet followed Moon. She scanned the area for other cats. A small noise made Violet prick her ears. So there were other cats!
A bit away, there was a black cat and a silver one. Recognizing one of them as Rowan, she smiled,, this would be funner than expected.
Violet quickened her pace, bounding alongside Moon. Reaching the two cats, Violet sat down while Moon did the talking. Violet looked at the black cat, maybe she knew how to heal. That might work. Violet paused, as Moon started to explain. But as Rawr spoke, Vis attention moved to him.
Greencloud. Rawr Greencloud
So Rawr did have a last name. Violet's attention returned to Moon as she continued to talk.
Preferably not a cat named dapple !
No, She wasn't supposed to tell him! What would he think of that! He'd know that dapple was in town and he'd have to choose. Then she might not get her fairytale. Violet stopped, realizing that she was almost turning red.
It was OK, Violet hadn't explained it to moon, it wasn't her friends fault. She would just have to play cool and then it would be OK.
Violet stood up once Moon was done talking, "So what are your names? Wait wait wait! I have physic powers, and will guess, your names. You are.... hmmm.... ROWAN!" She said, flicking her tail towards him. "And you..." She flicked her tail towards the other cat"Are....hm..... I have a few different Ideas. Crow, or Raven,?" she paused, hoping she had got it right.
Violet purred, how amusing.

Rowan smiled at Raven, watching her. She seemed so different from any cat he'd met before and he was intrigued by her. She was pretty but also seemed to be so shy. Why would someone be so shy? Rowan wondered. Unless something happened to her? Maybe she just found it hard to open up. He'd met cats like that before - one bad experience that had ruined everything for them. But Raven didn't seem like that. She wasn't being cold or unfriendly to him in any way. She seemed sweet and nice, just in a quiet, shy sort of way. And Rowan admired that. "No problem," he replied with a grin, pleased that she hadn't taken his other comment the wrong way. But he wasn't really all that surprised - Raven didn't seem like the type of she-cat to make something into a big fuss.
He was startled when a furry white she-cat suddenly dashed in between the pair of them. He jumped back with a startled exclamation before steadying himself with a grin. He opened his mouth to apologize by the she-cat was already talking. And was that Violet with her? He gave a surprised little laugh, grinning at the familiar face. But he was distracted when Moon mentioned a name he'd not expected to hear at all. "Dapple?!" His eyes widened ad he took a step forward so his face was right in front of Moons. "Dapple Fernleaf?" he asked, feeling his hear beginning to race faster just at the thought. "You know where Dapple is?"
Of course, maybe they meant a different Dapple. Obviously, they meant a different Dapple. Violet had said she would help him find Dapple, she wouldn't have not wanted to see her. It couldn't be the same Dapple. Rowan's fur began to lay back down and his tail slowed in its impatient lashing. No, they weren't talking about the same Dapple. They couldn't be. "Sorry," he apologized, biting his lip in embarrassment at how quickly he'd overreacted. Violet was talking now, saying something about names. Crow... Raven... Raven! His head jerked up in surprise. "You guys know each other?" he asked. No, he really hadn't been paying attention.
OOC: Okay so me and Kiwi figure that Rowan doesn't figure out that Violet didn't want him to meet Dapple - or didn't want to herself lol - until much later so we're not role-playing more back in time lol and he gets really mad then so would it be possible for Moon to maybe cover-up for Vi and be like 'Uh no, not Dapple Fernleaf, Dapple whatever lol' Does that work with you? Sorry just this thread is like before they're mates and all so if he gets mad now it means we have to role-play their fight and make it all get better before the present where it's not mentioned so it makes more sense for him to get mad in the present, after the kittens are born. Thanks! Lol sorry for rambling, really gotta go <3

Feeling righteousness in the distorting town, I was simply swept along, Licking her fine black lips the solid black she-cat smiled at the silver tabby who was kind enough to share his findings with her. Chicken was delicious, she could remember getting chicken fat and bones when she lived in a house hold. Her silver orbs met his green ones and she couldn't help but smile as he smiled back at her. He was very kind, and just something about him made her feel more relaxed. He reminded her of Sprite, yes, her elder brother that's who he reminded her of. He was sweet, charming and had a goofy grin. Just like Sprite.
Suddenly a white fluffy kitten slid between them causing the black feline to jump. Her silver orbs stared down at the little fluffball as she stared up at her with unnatural purple orbs. She blinked slowly, her nose winkled slightly. She knew the kitten was staring at her because of her scars. Turning her head away from her pircing orbs Raven sighed. One of the few things Raven didn't like about kittens, they stared and where very blunt. Sure they didn't mean anything when they said odd things but sometimes things where better left unsaid.
She blinked at the small kitten who introduced herself and the other cats with her as Moon, Rawr and Violet. She smiled a bit shyly and couldn't help but kind of take a step back from them. She wasn't too hot with crowds, even if there where only five of them there, four excluding herself. She didn't know these cats, and Raven had always been on bad terms with other females for some reason...
Shying closer to Rowan for she knew him the best of the others, even if she didn't really know him. She blinked as the cat down as Violet declared she was a pshychic and knew guessed their names. She was shocked when she easily guessed Rowan's name followed with hers. She nodded. "Raven..." She said comfirming the purple-eyed she-cat's guess. 'She couldn't have really known my name could she?'
Her silver orbs went to Rowan as he spazzed about this cat Dapple they had mentioned. She flicked her black rims and wonder just who was this Dapple Fernleaf as Rowan said. Rowan seemed to calm down a bit before he asked if he had met Violet before. She shook her head slightly. "N-no." She answered she had never met her before nor the other two Moon or Rawr. Her eyes went to Rawr who was supposedly hurt, how could they help? Raven didn't know anything about treating injuries. But, even if I insist that I’m not afraid of losing, Time will go on…

'Dapple Ferleaf?'
Moon had to admit, his reaction startled her, and her ears pinned back as she stepped back a little. His face was too close to hers, and he was bigger than her. Maybe she was still just a little traumatized from her two run ins with the dogs, but he apologized and she quickly recomposed herself. Glancing back at her friend, she immediately took in her look of horror and stammered out a response.
'N-no, not Dapple Fernleaf, Dapple...Coldbite! Y-yeah, I'm looking for my sister! I haven't ever heard about this Daplle Fernleaf, no of course not, never in my whole life! She heals cats. My sister I mean. Seen her anywhere around here? She's a... Brown tabby! Like...My mom! Yeah...'
After seeming to realize that she was rambling, Moon 'put a cork in it' and sat back down again. She had risen with her panic and had been making gestures, so now she was a little drained.
'Yes, that is... Me and Violet are great friends! But we just met Rawr a little while ago. And you never answered my question. Rawr needs a doctor, quick. Do-You-know-any?'
She answered, emphasizing each word. Still, why did she have to cover up for Violet? What was with her and Rowan, and Dapple? Moon hated secrets. Unless she was in on them, of course. Then she loved them. All the more reason to find out what happened.
'Ah, ok, well, Violet and I have something we need to do... I mean, I thought I saw some marigolds over there! They're, um, good for injured paws! Especially for white cats! Excuse us for a moment...'
She explained to them, slowly backing away before picking up Violets orange and white tail in her teeth and dragging her to a safe distance in the forest where they couldn't see or hear her. Turning towards the she-cat, she crossed her paws over each other as she began to lie down, regarding her friend with a firm violet gaze.
'Alright. Spill it. Who is Dapple, and what is your connection to you and that Rowan?'
And so the interrogation began.

Violet watched as Rowan's eyes widened at Dapples name. She shot Moon a desperate glance. Thank goodness she did, because Moon began to explain to Rowan how it was "the" Dapple. THANK YOU Moon! thought Violet, if it wasn't for Moon's quick explantion, then.... Well, Violet didn't actually know what wouldv'e happened, but it wouldn't have been something that Violet liked. Moon dropped the subject and continued with the more important need of Rawr. "Yes!" Violet put it, "Anyone will do, it's quite urgent!"
Violet looked at her paws, hopefully Rowan wouldn't find out about their lie. But, but..... Moon said that they didn't want to see her sister? Rowan might be puzzled about that. Ahhg! Violet needed to fix it. Well, actually, any cat other than Dapple Coldbite, Moon and her don't get along so-" Violet shrugged, hopefully, it had worked.
But, a deep feeling of sickness swelled inside Violet, she knew that this lie couldn't go on forever, the main question was how long they could keep it a secret. A sharp bite on Violet's tail snapped Violet out of her thoughts. Yeah, our paws our feeling sore, Marigold will do the trick" Violet said over her shoulder, following he pull of her tail.
Violet copied as Moon sat down. Violet could tell from the frustration in Moon's eyes that this was about the secret. Violet's ears perked.
Alright. Spill it. Who is Dapple, and what is your connection to you and that Rowan?
Darn it! Thought Violet. But Moon was a good friend, she deserved to know. Looking back at Raven and Rowan, she began to spill.
Ok, so well, Rowan... umm.... well... I have a little you know... itsy bitsy bitsy crush on him..... Ok fine.... a BIG crush on him. But thing thing is well, he was taken from his MATE and abandoned, that's why he's on the streets. But he promised his mate.... Who just so happens to be Dapple.... that he would come back to her. But, I really like him. And, if, he knows about Dapple, he'll go back to her and not even give me a second glance" Violet Buried her head deep into her soft fur. "Oh moon" she said, sitting up,"What will I ever do?"

Rowan frowned. Oh. So they didn't know each other. That was weird then. Well, Raven was black pelted and ravens were black birds so it wasn't all that hard to see why she had been named such. But there were so many other names out there that involved blackness. Dark. Midnight. Jet. Onyx. Perhaps Violet had just been thinking about birds before stumbling into them. He flashed Raven a small smile, hoping it would be comforting. She was probably stunned by the energy levels displayed by Violet and her new friend. Moon, was it? He nodded quickly at Moon's explanation of how they were looking for a different Dapple. He'd already figured that much out. There was no way she'd meant his Dapple because then Violet would have told him since she knew he was looking for her - she was helping him look for her.
"I see." He flashed Moon a smile. He could see why Violet got along with this she-cat, she seemed just as energetic and excitable. He gave a short laugh. "That's fine, Moon. I understand." His eyes narrowed as she began spouting something about marigold but he gave a small nod as the two she-cats ran off. He turned back to Raven with an apologetic smile. "Sorry about them. Violet's really quite nice, just loud sometimes." He gave a little laugh. "I've never met Moon before now but she seems quite similar." He smiled at the she-cat. Raven seemed quite shy and Rowan hoped that she wasn't bothered too much by the two loud mouths. He chuckled.
"Wonder what's taking them so long?" he asked curiously glancing to where the two cats were talking. He couldn't see any marigold but then again, he wasn't exactly sure what he should be looking for. Moon seemed to be comforting Violet though and he frowned, wondering what was wrong with his friend. Was she okay? He'd check when they got back. His attention flickered over to the kitten, and he smiled assuringly. "Hello there, Rawr. Don't worry. Moon seems to know what she's doing. I'm sure she'll be back with some marigold soon." Rowan hoped so at least. He personally didn't know all that much about healing. Well, there was the little scraps he remembered hearing from Dapple - his Dapple. She'd always been good at helping those who were injured. He frowned. Strange that this other Dapple was also god at healing.
And strange that he thought of the Dapple he'd known as his Dapple.
OOC: Sorry for taking a while to reply, been a bit busy

What is it I'm waiting for, in this room without you -- it's just the clock's ticking, but it resonates in my sleepless heart like the sound of footsteps. When the small kitten known as Moon responded to Rowan, really Raven couldn’t help but notice she was lying. The way she hesitated and rambled, it was the clear sign of a liar, a bad one at that. ‘Then again, she is just a kitten.’ Her mind reminded her she knew kittens had a tendency to ramble and speak a lot. Sighing the solid black she-cat looked over to Rowan, she wondered if she should tell him they where lying.
Though, it seemed for obvious reasons they where lying. Plus she didn’t even know this Dapple, nor really did she know either of the cats here, not relatively well. Just their names and a bit of their personality was all. She would just stay quite for now, until she thought it was necessary to say they where lying. He did, however seem slightly disappointed when they said it wasn’t the Dapple he was thinking of, even if it obviously was.
Shortly after her rambling the small kitten explained they needed help to cure Rawr’s wounds. And without an explanation really she left with Violet to find something called “Marigold”. Blinking, the black she-cat looked over at Rowan who wore expression that was just as confused as hers. When he spoke to her she couldn’t help but smile, he had such great charisma. He also had a cute smile, it was charming but in a boyish way. Cute almost. “Oh… It’s alright.” Raven replied slowly when he apologized to her for them. She felt a bit misplaced with them but they weren’t anything like a bother.
With a slight growl of her stomach, Raven realized she had never finished eating. The chicken Rowan had found was scattered across the floor messed up by Moon. Raven, without anything to do--besides attempting to conversant--looked around for something she could much on to settle her growling stomach. Rowan’s voice made her look back at him and she gave a small shrug. Who knows what the two she-cats where talking about. ‘Probably that Dapple cat…’ She thought to herself before turning to Rowan who was speaking to Rawr. She smiled softly, he was so kind. He had many of Frost’s aspects. ‘Lets just hope he doesn’t have them all…’ She felt uneasy, but she had a feeling Rowan was a nice guy. ‘Then again. I though Frost was too…’ She was unsure now. Even now I'm waiting; I stop here alone. From where do you now see the moon we saw together on that day? In The Moonlight - Bad Luck from Gravitation Soundtrack (one of my favorite Japanese songs btw)

Under this national r a i n c l o u d I'm getting soaked to the s k i n
Moon drew her soft pink tongue over Violet's head, feeling a little protective of her violet-eyed friend. She was feeling something akin to sisterly love around the kitten, but even though she was younger she felt like the bigger sister in the situation where Violet was upset over her secret crush.
'Don't worry.
She said, feeling stupid. Oh yeah, that's the way to go, Moon.
'Be happy!'
She told her cheerfully. Even though when it came to words, moon really wasn't very good at lying. But when it came to her emotions, the white kitten could be screaming and still look like her smiling self.
Things always work out for the best, even if it looks like the world is ending. Because in the end, everything will be okay. And if it doesn't, then, well, it's not the end.
'I think you should... Well the best thing for me to say right now would be lay things out for him and stop lying, but not only dos that sounds stupid and cliche, but it probably won't work either. so if I were you, I would keep things under wraps, until you feel you can trust him to stand by you. and if you someday meet Dapple by chance... Maybe you should introduce her. From what I've heard, she's really quite kind-hearted, and would probably step down. And after Rowan realizes that your the best cat in the world, no, the universe, then he'll stop worrying about the doc and start thinking about you. That is, if your not already the only thing on his mind.'
It was a long speech, and Moon felt it sounded as stupid as her previous statement, but she hoped it would help her out. Violet was like family, and she watched out for family. Maybe the crazy kitten that leaped into pools on red wagons, destroyed kitchens in a single bound, and chased dog on oversized paws... was finally starting to grow up. Either way, her friend needed her, so he would try to come through. She grabbed up some of the marigold, which unexpectedly really was there before sitting back up.
Trotting over to where the black she-cat and the silver tabby sat waiting, she promptly collapsed into a crooked sitting position, licking her paw and bringing it over her ear. things were eerily silent for the next few seconds, when her violet eyes suddenly snapped open.
'Rowan! she barked, 'Curiosity killed the cat, damn it! Stop pining over where the heck this other Dapple is so we can fin someone to help poor Rawr! He's shown nothing but kindness to you and you've done nothing to repay him!'
She glanced over to where the startled white kitten was laying down, and he was glancing between Moon and Rowan as if saying, what the heck are you talking about, Moon? I've hardly said a word! But she ignored his silent message, sitting up again and gliding over to where he was sitting before placing the marigold on his paw and squishing it up. The pulp seemed to seep into his paw, and he bit his lip, resisting the urge to cry out.
'Here, She said maternally, handing him the rest of the golden flower, 'Eat this, swallow it all. It'll help for a bit, you might not be able to feel your paws for a while and it might lessen in pain, but we've gotta find you a healer, someone with proper knowledge of herbs! Or else if worst comes to worst it'll heal crookedly, and you won't be able to run fast, even have trouble with climbing trees.
She turned back to the group, a stern look on her white features. The violet eyes flashed, and she pointed to the moon with her muzzle.
'We gotta find him a doctor already! So we should all stop acting so immature and work harder to help out Greencloud here, even if it takes us all the way to the moon!' She said. Now.
'Any ideas?'
Trying to find my u m b r e l l a But I don't know where to b e g i n...
