The black folds of shadow, never ceased coming forth.
It was like this, forever. The light that shown down with a sickening calmness, and the seemingly frozen time space. It was... how you could say, too peaceful. But never judge something on appearances, which is what many a person would do. Yellow orbs slid down the rusty red colored path, as the occasional car came and dropped off some unknowing victim.
The black slits that watched the box move around in a panicked motion, seemed to glitter with a dark menacing killer aura. Two black ears listened to the frightened sounds from the small box, and from where those ears were, a sinister smile appeared on a pair of lips. A long tail flicked back and forth with ease, as if this was boring. A small yet powerful tom body slunk down the tree like a snake, those eyes watching the box as sharpened claws became unsheathed.
It was an unknowing feline, a fairly old tom who was thrown into the streets like a kind of toy. 'Really, is pity enough to power my urge to kill? Kind of a shame should it come down to this.' With thoughts of cold techniques and torture ranging in his head, the one call Talon Starleaf approached his prey with a deadly accuracy unknown to seemingly a lot of the cats here.
A sharp loud sound, mainly laughing was heard from this tom's lips as he slashed at the box multiple times. Cardboard was annoying, your claws got stuck and it was nothing compared to the silky feeling of cutting through flesh. After a few seconds, an old withered tom looked at Talon. A smile of gratitude on his lips, as he started to say.. "thank you lad-"
Before he could even finish his sentence, a quick and furious blur of motion swept past his vision. And the old tom died there, a large cut on his throat as blood pulsed out of it. With an evil smile, and a heart of intense flames Talon simply watched him die. The vile and evil smirk on his lips as the old tom withered out of life in a few minutes,
The black and white Talon, whose yellow vicious eyes glowed with a rage no one could understand. Had already made himself comfortable, as he calmly walked off into the distance. The old tom's body left there for the crows and ants, not to mention the maggots that would be there after a few weeks.
With a silent aura of murderous intent, Talo set off for this big city. Slightly amused at thinking about the reactions and furious faces of the other felines. It only depended now, on who was with him and who was against.

Melody hadn't been to the old road in a while. It was like a dead memory resting deep within her head. Her totally screwed up head. She sighed and closed her eyes tight, squeezing them. Maybe if she squeezed hard enough they'd turn into a natural, less-scary color. Like brown, she'd always wanted poop-colored eyes! She opened her eyes again. Of course this wouldn't do any good. She sighed and trudged along the dusty path.
There was a slight breeze today, making the air rather lovely. It wasn't too hot, or too cold for that matter. The grass that stretched along the path seemed to be enjoying the day too, playing in the wind. The breeze sent silver whisps through her vision, but she ignored it. Breeze was one of the sounds that she was acustomed to, so it didn't bother her functioning as much as the sounds of stranger cats and other strange sounds did.
The bottom of her paws were a red-pink in color from the dusty road. She kept her head down as she walked, watching every step, and every shifting of dirt that she made. She stopped. Something new entered her vision. Red splotches, these symbolized blood in her vision, but she wouldn't judge the colors to the thing. She looked up and was a few yards away from a black cat with white splotches over him. His yellow gaze was immense and terrifying. What was she thinking? Coming here to the old road? This is where the hostile cats usually end up right after some tragic incident. Melody wasn't the cat that you wanted to talk to. She was too quiet, and her red gaze was simply haunting. She bit her lip and sat back on her haunches. She wasn't about to show this tom with the blood-stained breaths that she was a coward. No way. She glared at him, wondering what he wanted here.
ooc: sorry it's so short. O.o

Ah, a change in the wind. Someone was definitely nearby, and as those two yellow orbs settled on a feline in the distance, he smirked. His paws were blood stained, and she had come from the direction of the town it seemed. With a swish of the tail he looked to this feline, from the scent it was a female. That was obvious by her body structure, petite if not a tad bit taller than himself. With sparkling red eyes, like apples or cherries.
The mischievous smirk was ever more precise on his face, the black and white splotches on his fur seemed clean and well kept but dusty and ragged too. His claws were sheathed, for they had blood on them and would not make for a good first impression. Flicks his left ear, Talo watched her, taking everything in. As if stealing her soul would be as easy as a snap of the fingers, and that smirk remained. The way she bravely sat there wasn't gonna make him coo all over her, saying worthless things like, 'Your brave!' or 'I'm so terrified! Your precense scares me.'
Yeah no. That was for those who were psychotic maniacs, he was far from it and would rather get a job over with. It wouldn't be that hard for him, and with a delicate sigh he took easy steps closer to the female. Saying with a sickeningly silky voice, that seemed to fit his body too well, "Mm. Sparkling red eyes, like rubies almost eh? Too bright for blood, for blood tarnishes things. Makes it.. ViLe."
A smirk on his face, as he caught her glare. The yellow eyes seemed to brighten almost at once, the unexplainable rage and hatred seemed to flow of his body in waves as he stopped a few feet away from her. In a tilted sort of axis, Talon looked at her with a dark and sinister smile. Those yellow orbs filled with such rage and pain, the fire deep inside of him that no one could understand.
Just a simple gaze would bring up the worst memories from anyone, the pain of their life. The agonizing departure of life, and if anything a momentary freeze. Those were a few cases, that's why he didn't look people in the eye that much. But with those sparkling red gems before him, it was hard to not smile creepily and just stare into her soul.
He stood there, if anything giving the appearance that a wild beast stood in his shadow. His aura gave off waves of intense pain, yet he seemed to be unaffected. Ah, he'd stop her for now. Wait to see what she does, then calmly observe it. And unbelievable to what everyone else would say, yes for this, Talo is actually calm.
"Kufu. You can call me Talon."

She stared blankly as she watched him study her. This was protocol to everybody that seemingly saw her. Lovely white pelt, that was soft and fluffy like feathers. Then they came to her eyes. They were a swirling pool of suffering. When he met her gaze, those pools brought back suffering. They had seen her worst memories of getting made fun of, her colors, getting beaten. She had had a living hell. She tried her hardest not to show any fear, this would not win her battle. She sat there in silence, never loosening her glare, never moving an inch.
She didn't expect him to melt before her. She didn't expect him to coo all over her. She just expected him to...she didn't even know what she expected of him. She just, wanted to put it out there that she didn't act petite, or like a girl. Then he spoke.
"Mm. Sparkling red eyes, like rubies almost eh? Too bright for blood, for blood tarnishes things. Makes it.. ViLe."
The blood stains that made up his voice were terrifying. His voice was so slimy, it ate away at her courage. She breathed deeply. She blinked. She bit her lip and held her head high. She wasn't about to be taken down like this. "And yours are yellow. Plain, but bright and happy. Almost like the sun, or the stars." Except not, she added softly. She was only talking about the color, not about the terrifying rage that soun in them. Suprizingly, her voice was calm and steady.
This cat seemed like somebody that hated all things pink and happy and merry. This probably wouldn't have made He seemed like the kind of cat that would strike her for that. He was suddenly closer than he was before. How could she not have realized this? Shouldn't his colors made a bigger splotch? She was thrust out of her thoughts as he spoke again.
"Kufu. You can call me Talon."
Talon. A very suiting name for somebody with a voice as piercing as that. She wasn't planning on giving her name to this....shame on the cat world. He was awful. She just glared at him. What would he do? Kill her? Weren't you not supposed to hit a girl?

A smirk appeared on Talo's lips, holding her glare steady with one of his own. The wind played with his short fur, and the long tail curled around his body like a small scarf. "The sun and stars are the same miss. Both raging balls of fire that could burn you if you got too close." A snicker floated on his tongue, and he flicked his left ear again. It was a bad habit to be constantly flicking his ears or tail, but it was his bad habit.
On those blood stained fangs, shown sunlight as he lifted his lips in a harmless smile. Really, what was the point of giving off a bad first impression. It was so much better to let the other relax and get used to him, besides if she proved useful maybe Talon would manipulate her in so many ways. A puppet dancing on his hand really, that was about it.
They all seemed to have been living a soft life, compared to the things he's seen and done. A small snicker at his own thoughts, as he held her steady gaze. Yellow and red combined to make orange, as the sun is of that color. But it's to bright to see, right? For it's bad for you to stare directly into the sun.
He was still standing, and taking note of this he smoothly maneuvered his body closer to her's. His eyes held the same rage, his voice the same seductive silkiness. It was rare for something like this to not happen, for he was not but a fair foot away from her now. He blinked once or twice, as if he was slightly surprised and his body moved on it's own. Talon was such a good actor, it was a great skill for any killer really.
His calmness seemed to momentarily douse the flame inside, and for sure if his rage was quenched then his movements would be a bit more subtle. A bit more liquid like, that's what his father told him. This time Talo sat down, perfectly fine with this distance between each other. And as he spoke, the wind blew across the fields on both sides. The long grasses making patterns, as the wind blew in different strengths for each second.
"I must admit, your eyes puzzle me." He spoke honestly, there was a fragment in them that were like his own but the rest was just... From what he read it showed a normal coldness that any person would have from meeting a stranger. A dark snicker in the back of his mind as Talon said, "The ruby red color doesn't seem to fit you whatsoever, amber would do so much better. Don't you think?" A slight smile on his part, that looked nothing more than a simple minded smirk.
His aura had changed, masked over by an air of calmness. As if giving off the impression that he was naturally atoned to these situations, just living in the present moment. Talon let out a small yawn, he was tired. Having walked almost all night to find this place, he had a mouse this morning, but he hadn't had a wink of sleep since then. It was tiresome, I mean he couldn't drink coffee, so what else was there?
