Callisto's paws met hard asphault. She felt normal. She was still on a life-long search for her kittens, even though she knew that she might not ever find them. She knew Oren was searching too, just in a different way. That thought made her eyes water a little, but she quickly blinked back tears and focused, knowing she would have to be more cautious in a human neighborhood.
It suprized her that her search would even bring her here. She hadn't been anywhere near a human neighborhood in forever, so the houses and sidewalks looked rather odd. She couldn't help feeling like she was being watched, the fur on her back stood up as she darted into shadows. All she wanted was to see any one of her kits alive, and she would be fine. Even if they had found human life comforting and happy, all she wished to do was just see one in a home, happy and healthy.
She ran over to some rose bushes to rest her aching paws that she had been walking on for almost two days straight. She laid down on her belly and stretched. Callisto licked her paws clean and started giving her whole body a bath. Her golden-eyed gaze went to the street in front of her, watching and wincing as two cars flew past.
sorry it's suckie, i couldn't think of anything. O.o

ooc: It's cool, first posts are always the most annoying xD Now I'll say sorry for mine being so short
Brown tabby paws were currently padding along the top of the fence, the happy, wide green eyes of Summer Starlight enjoying the landscape. It was a warm day for late Winter, and just thinking of the season reminded her of her annoying alter-ego's ever-presence her her head.
Hey, do you smell that?
The voice naturally came from said cat, as Winter pointed out the strange, yet familiar scent that was slowly getting stronger.
Well of course, that's what I'm following!
She thought back, silencing 'Winter'. Summer definately recognized the scent, but from whom she couldn't seem to place. It was pleasant, warm, yet plagued with uncertainty, as if the female was searching for something.
Or someone.
With a quick turn on the corner, the mysterious cat came into view. With the sign of company, Winter took over, crouching down and hissing maliciously. But the scent was strong now, and suddenly, memories came rushing back to the kitten, reminding her of the soft, happy presence she had known in only one other she-cat in her life:
'...Mom?'

Callisto shifted uncomfortably. She hated being reminded of her past with humans. She couldn't help but get a flashback...
It was a beautiful day in the Centre shopping center. Callisto was with the love of her life, and her four adorable kittens. She was happy. She smiled widely as the sun rays beamed on her back. "You look beautiful," She heard Oren's sweet voice tickle her ear fur. She shivered, not of being cold, but the thought of being watched. She pushed the thought to the back of her mind and licked Oren affecionately on the cheek. "Mooom!" Wined Pax, "We's al'eady tols you, sa'e the 'ushy-gushy lovey s'uff for la'er!" Callisto chuckled happily and licked him too. "I love you, Pax." She mewed. She turned continued walking on with her family.
Then, out of nowhere a big net scooped up her and Pearl and Hazel, then another stole Oren, Pax, and Summer up off of the streets. They were tossed violently in the back of the run-away van. She gathered up a few of her kits into her arms in the back of the van, she wasn't sure who, as the van stopped suddenly and slammed them against the wall. That made everything in Callisto's eyes go black.
That was the last she had ever seen of her kittens. A small tear ran down her cheek, if only she had been more aware of the 'being watched' feeling. Then, maybe, they would still be a family! She scowled and hissed at herself. Then, she heard the pinestraw rustle and she turned around quickly and found herself facing a kit. "...Mom?" She mrrowed softly. Callisto breathed in a lovely scent that reminded her of wildflowers and the sun. "...Summer?" She meowed quietly, and then leaped up and tackled her little kitten playfully, and lightly, so she wouldn't hurt her. "Where have you been, baby?"

No way...
Things were definitely out of whack when even the cool-headed Winter was surprised. Summer just gaped at her for another second before launching herself at the gray and white she-cat, drinking in her warm, welcoming smell, green eyes filled with happiness.
'I was so scared when everyone was taken away, Mama! I've been on my own since then, we all got split up when we escaped from those human-thingies... I wouldn't even be here if Winter hadn't helped me out. I cant even hunt, and this one time, there was this squirrel, and I chased it but I didn't manage to catch up, and then it rained this other time, and...'
Summer babbled on an on about nothing, relief and joy shining from her painfully honest, innocent form, paws bouncing in excitement at meeting her mom for the first time in... months? Summer wasn't even a year old.
'So then I managed to take it back, and the crow flew away, but I ended up leaving it there anyways... Hey, Mama, where's Daddy?'
The question was out of curiosity. She could name very little times that she'd seen her mother without her other half, and it was a little unsettling.
'...Hey, Mama? Why're you looking at me like that?'
ooc: xD Shall we do a little plot planning in the ooc? You can decide whether or not Calli knows about Winter or not. Anyways, should they get caught up with some humans, or npc house cats?</randomideas>
